Vimeo iframe in edge doesn't work in dreamweaver

Question

i put an iframe embed video from vimeo in edge animate /compositionready
var vimeo = $("<iframe/>");
sym.$("vimeo").append(vimeo);
vimeo.attr('type','text/html');
vimeo.attr('width','500');
vimeo.attr('height','281');
vimeo.attr('src','videourl'); 
vimeo.attr('frameborder','0');      
vimeo.attr('allowfullscreen','0');  
but when I import this in dreamweaver and I make a preview in safari or crhome the video is not visible.. somebody knows why?

Should look somewhat like this:
var vimeo = $("<iframe/>");
sym.$("video").append(vimeo);
vimeo.attr('type','text/html');
vimeo.attr('width','500');
vimeo.attr('height','281');
vimeo.attr('src','//player.vimeo.com/video/87944856?');
vimeo.attr('frameborder','0');   
vimeo.attr('allowfullscreen','0');
line 2 : the first quote is the name of the symbol where the video is. It is not good to be the same as var
line 6 :in Vimeo from embed  in the second quotation
example:
<iframe src="//player.vimeo.com/video/87944856?color=ff9933" width="480" height="270" frameborder="0" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen></iframe>
