Voice Command ::N95::

Hello
I'm having this problem(or i dont know if its a problem) since i bought the phone in april, the voice recorders voice is too low to be heard in a mild environment.
while in the quiet place it is audible but not like my N80 or My 6300 's voice recorder's voice!
Does any one knows how can i increse its volume a little?
Sailare

I have exactly the same problem.- Voice commands worked fantastically until I upgraded the software last week, and now when I press the RIGHT top button, and hold it, the screen goes black and the phone re-sets.
I miss being able to use this - and hope that future software upgrades will fix it.

  • N95 how to make calls by voice command

    pls help...
in the manual, it says that the "voice"command IS NOT recorded in advance, but it is the ph who creates it [??]
it also says that to listen to the synthesized voice tag, open a contact card, select Options>play>voice tag...
could any of you tell me how to reach this options>play>voice tag.......???
    or,
how to set up the voice tag for one contact, as the manual is very poor in this respect..
    tks for the help

Voice tags are automatically created - if you have an entry for example "Paul Smith" the phone will have created a Voice Tag for you by using a synthesized phonetic speach recognition.
Press and hold the top right blue button and you will hear short souning beeps (above red end call)
say "Paul Smith" and it will dial it for you
NOTE: If you use shortern names or abbreviations for entries, then unless you say it like the way it's stored in it's synthesized phonetic sound, it will not recognise it.
you can listen to how it will play back by going to:
contacts (select contact you wish to hear)
    options
    open
next to the Default number will be a the speach tag symbol (pac man head! lol!)
    now select
    Options
play voice tag... to hear it.
Say it like it sounds and it will work, I've allways use Voice dialing, since I had my N70. The N95 is a tad quiet sounding - a bug to be fixed hopefully in a firmware update

  • Adding New Applications to Voice Command on N95

Is there a way of adding new applications to the list of available applications that could be controlled by Voice Command?
    I appear to have a pre-configured list that I can't add too.
I'd like to be able to activate Google Maps for example, but that application isn't in the pre-configured list of applications that could be set for Voice Command.

want to konw how to Adding New Applications to Voice Command

  • N95 Navigation works but no Voice commands

    Hi there,
I dowloaded maps, bought subscription. GPS work well, finds its position in 1-2 minutes and navigation works. But I do not have any voice commands at ALL!!!!!
Can anyone suggest something? How to get voice commands during the navigation?
    Many Thanks, Kate

    Hi,
I can not remember step by step. But this is I think how I did it:
Coz I subscribed, I switched off "Network Connection" GPRS. And possibly other connections were OFF as well.
And when I was trying to choose "English" or any other languages it would not work coz it did not have voice files.
I then allowed all connections to work (including GPRS). Then I opened MAP applications and started navigation. And magic happened. The phone started downloading voice commands. And it works since.
What I think happend is that voice commands can be downloaded sort of atomaticaly, but only if you have GPRS "ON". After voices were dowloaded I switched OFF Network connection.
    Try it, Good Luck!!!! ;-))

  • E51 - Voice Commands Freezes (hangs up) the phone

Each time I use the voice command by pressing the middle button on the right, the phone freezes, and essentially reboots itself. I can get the prompt "Speak Now," but if I give a command, the phone freezes. If I don't say anything, it comes back with "No Match Found," but the phone continues to work in this case.
I have rebooted, removed the battery, etc., but no luck. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I've just fixed a similar, but not identical, problem on my N95 .  This fix is quick and easy and doesn't need a firmware install, hard reset or rebuild.  Here's what I posted to another forum - try it if resetting voice adaptations alone doesn't work:
Managed to figure out how to fix this on my N95 with a bit of research and tinkering...
First, select Tools / Utilities / Voice Comm. / Settings / Remove voice adapts.  Then selectTools / Settings / General / Personalisation / Language / Phone Language and set it to another language.  You'll be asked to restart the phone.  Once restarted, remove the voice adaptations again.  Now change the language back to your own and restart again.  Then reset the voice adaptations again.  Now try the voice command button again - it should work.  I think the resetting voice adaptations bit may be unnecessary, but definitely the language change is what sorted it for me.
Failing this, try turning off the voice synthesiser in voice command settings.  It will still take voice commands but won't read stuff out.
Pleased I fixed something for once, without the need for a hard reset and rebuild.

  • E51&Voice commands&Ford Car Kit

    Hello everyone,
I just added navigation to my E51. As soon as I enter the car it connects to the inbuilt bluetooth car kit of my 2006 Ford Focus. If I start the navigation, I can't hear any voice commands. If I switch the radio and consequently the bluetooth kit off, I hear them through the phone speaker. I suppose, that they are supposed to be broadcasted through the bluetooth connection which would be great, but it doesn't work. Is there any possibility to change the output device or to support the bluetooth set of the Ford?
    Best regards
    Karsten

have the same problem with my N95 and supertooth have to go in and physically disconnect my bluetooth in tools when i leave the car even if I turn the supertooth off. otherwise cannot send or receive calls. ok when you remember.

  • Landrover Evoque and Voice Commands - iOS 7 / iPhone 5S problems

I have a Landrover Evoque which has Voice Controls.
I also have iOS 7.0.3 and the iPhone 5S.
Before the upgrade to phone and iOS the voice controls worked fine in that it could call a contact based upon voice recognition in the car.
All worked fine until the new software upgrade.
However, if I press the Voice Command button and say 'Phone Call Contact" it returns a response "No Handset Connected" and fails.
However the phone is connected via Bluetooth and ALL of the contacts have been downloaded to the car address book.
    Anybody else have this?
    Anybody know of a fix?
In case anybody asks - the Bluetooth has paired ok, mad it will make and receive calls - it also will play the music through the Bluetooth.
However this is now more unsafe than it was before.

    No.
You can try a reset, hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
or on your phone settings - general - reset - reset network settings - you will have to re enter password for known wifi.

  • Voice Command does not function anywhere on phone

Have owned the RAZR MAXX HD for two weeks.  Voice Command functionality does not work regardless of whether I try to open it from the apps list, dialer, or contacts list.  The error I get reads as follows: "Unfortunately, Voice Command has stopped."  If I use the Google Now microphone it does seem to work on a limited basis for certain contacts.  Would really like to use the phone hands free while driving but the lack of voice command functionality prevents this.

Fixed it!  I had the same problem today with my Droid 4 and search the internet to find some answers.  Techs were saying that you cannot roll back updates for the OS  and what not but that is not true.  I found a free App on Google Play that did backups and restores for apps and the OS.  Even though it was too late to have a restore to go back to, I was able to see all the updates and loads that had happened today and uninstalled them from within the program and it did roll them back to the previous versions.  I had to uninstall Google Search, Google Play Books and Zillow. and then my Voice Commands would work again.  The error I was receiving when I tried to voice command was "Unfortunately Vioce Commands has stopped".  I hope this helps someone.  NOt trying to sell anything but the App that worked was AppMonster Free Backup Restore.

  • How do I use voice commands with CC on my Mac?

Howdy all! Just made the switch to Adobe from Final Cut 7. Overall, I'm digging it a bunch.
However, there's one aspect of CC on my Mac that's vexing me.
As you may know, there is speech recognition / voice command software built in to Mountain Lion (it's been around for years, and many iterations of OSX). With this software, you can make any number of custom voice commands for another piece of software. For instance, in FCP 7, I can program the keystroke "l" (play track) to respond to the voice command, "Forward." (It can be any word or phrase you type in.) This works with other programs as well.
All well and good, and pretty dang cool. However, I can't make any voice commands work with any of the CC software (I've tried Premiere and Media Encoder so far). I'm curious if anyone else has had any luck, or, perhaps, that the ported interface from Windows to Mac has some layer of code that (probably inadvertantly) blocks voice commands from working with CC on a Mac.
Anyone got any tips? Tricks? Confirmation that this simply won't work on a Mac? (If the last, I'd love to know the "why" as well.)
    Thanks!
    Best,
    Ian

  • How to disable voice commands on a N82?

I have recently bought a Nokia N82. Since I started using the mp3 player, I have been dialing random people, and I realized it happens when I am wearing the provided headset (HS-43). The largest button on the headset remote activates voice commands.
The problem is that the headset remote is hanging where my arms are when I'm resting them on my stomach. This has caused quite a lot of random calls while I'm in a conversation (not wearing the earplugs ;-). Luckily I haven't said anything that could get me fired from my job, yet :-)
My question is; how do I *completely* disable voice commands?
(I would have assumed something trivial like "go to voice commands, settings, disable" - but I can't seem to find that option?!! :-(

me too have the same problem...
its difficult to remember to remove the headset every time you remove it from the ear...
R u sure this feature cannot be disabled?
    Regards,

  • WHY---------???? WHY can't I use my bluetooth for voice commands with the driods?

I purchased a droid1 and found out very quickly that my bluetooth COULD NOT BE USED WITH THE DROID OR VOICE COMMANDS-----IT IS NOT A HANDS FREE DEVICE!! I paired my bluetoot with the droid and expected to make calls as I did with my OLDER phone but NOPE-----IT WILL NOT WORK-------YOU HAVE TO "TOUCH" THE DROID TO MAKE A CALL BEFORE YOU CAN TALK VIA BLUETOOTH! WHAT ARE THESE PEOPLE THINKING? A basic function (AND LEGAL) like voice command calling wasn't put into these driods? PLeaase..........what--why-----how-----could they overlook such a basic and legal requirement (MOST STATS REQUIRE HANDS FREE OPERATION)..............I'm baffled and extremely disappointed because I can not use any of these 'smartphones'=droids.
Be very careful before you buy one without being informed of this flaw--------the DROIDS are not HANDS FREE DEVICES--------sadly.

I had the same shock when purchasing 2 new Droids less than a month ago. The store rep emphatically told me that Bluetooth dialing worked but of course that was wrong. The Froyo 2.2 version corrects that -- if you haven't received an update notice from Verizon you can get it here: http://www.droid-life.com/2010/08/03/manual-android-2-2-update-for-motorola-droid/  and do it yourself. it's pretty simple.

  • Is there a way to turn on/off 3G for iPhone 4S with a voice command and/or without Siri?

For example, I almost always have 3G turned off on my iPhone 4S so that I won't use any of my cellular data when not needed. However, when I'm driving, and I need to use Maps for directions, it would be nice to unlock the iPhone by voicing my PIN and using a voice command to turn on 3G and accessing Maps.
Is there already a way to do this? I know that accessing applications via Siri will be capable when iOS 6 is released.
Voice Control should also be set to the default voice-command option when Siri is either off or when the iPhone does not currently have access to the internet. Because Siri requires the internet, Voice Control could be used to unlock the iPhone and turn on 3G. Once 3G is turned on, Siri can take over (if Siri is turned on in Settings) to access an application, like Maps. When finished, there should be a voice command that will "turn off 3G."
So, here's how the whole process could work:
    1) hold Home button to access Voice Control and respond with PIN to unlock the iPhone - "one, two, three, four" or "twelve, thirty-four" for PIN 1234 (I'm not sure if people would want to say, "one thousand, two-hundred, thirty-four")
    2) once unlocked, it should intuitively stay on Voice Control so the user can say "turn on 3G"
    3) if Siri is enabled, it will take over Voice Control; if Siri is disabled, Voice Control will remain active, bu you should also have the voice-command option to "turn on Siri" (now that 3G is on)
    4) a voice command to "launch Maps" - I know that this will capable with iOS 6
    5) when done, hold Home button and voice a command to "turn off 3G" via Siri
Could this feature please be integrated into iOS 6?
In terms of driving and accessing Maps, this would be a lot safer and a lot easier.
    Thanks!

i just got the iphone 4s and i cant figure out how to get siri to work it seems to be the old voice command. HELP!

Did you enable Siri in settings?
    Settings > General > Siri > ON
If Siri is off, all you get when pressing the home button for 1 second is the old Voice Control.
