Voicemail being left but not showing on iPhone version of Skype

Can anyone help me with this re-occurring problem.? I receive an email to say a voicemail has been left on my Skype. On my PC, I can see who and when they left it, and play it back. When I look at my iPhone. I can sometimes see that missed call in the Recent list, but I do not hav ethe ption to play it and sometimes have had to wait overnight for the Recent list to update to say that a voicemail has been left. If I was relying on only my iPhone, I wouldnt know that or be able to play a message had been left.I would only know that I had missed a call and may not always that straight away. I have tried logging on and off on both iPhone and PC in various order.I have tried being online at the same time as the PC.I have tried making sure the PC is off and only the iPhone is on. And vice versa. No matter what I try, voicemails do not register on the iPhone version for hours and hours sometimes even next day, after they are left. I would really appreciate anyone's thoughts or ideas. Thanks guys. Dave

Hi im still using ios 5 but was having a the same problem, and finally found a soultion for my phone. Ok so here's what i do 1. Go into itunes and with mine music their mostly albums so i search the album name so that only those songs appear.
2. Click edit then select all
3. Click get info, then drag the artwork u want
4. Then click the songs one by one and add the same artwork a 2nd time & your album artwork shoud be on your phone

You can re-download content purchased from the app store using the purchased option which is revealed by tapping the updates option at the bottom of the screen of the App store app on your iOS device.

About bash bug update being available but not showing up in software updates???

Apple has posted a Bash Bug update (as of 9/29/14) for various versions of OS X. It can be downloaded on the downloads page. But why doesn't it show up as an Apple update on the Software Updates page???
When I go there it says "there are no updates available". What's up with that???

If it's an Audiobook, then it's probably in the Audiobook section of your iPhone. Have you set your iTunes to Sync Audiobooks with your iPhone?
Alternatively, if the Audiobook was imported into your iTunes Library as as Music, then it's going to be in the Music section of your iPhone. If so, then it will be in the Music section of your iTunes Library. To move it to the Audiobooks section, select it in the Library and choose File/Get Info/Options>Media Kind where you can change it.
You can change it to a Podcast, but since something is only a Podcast if it is delivered to your iTunes as a Podcast download (which is a process for delivering files without you having to go and find them), then your audiobook is not a Podcast and you may forget (in the future) how you obtained the book in the first place

In downloading my Events from iPhoto on my Mac to my iPad Air, the Events arrive in the proper order but not showing the Key Photo. At the same time, the Events arrive in iPhoto on the iPad in totally random order but showing the Key Photo.Why?

HHi, thank you for the reply. I have checked my iPad and iPhone and neither has iCloud Photo Library (Beta) enabled. Turned off in both. Photostream is turned on.
i tried to sort it out by dragging all the photos to Events on the Mac and then deleting them from iCloud - (left hand side of iPhoto under the section 'Shared'). the photos now show up in Events. I did force quit but the issue remains. The message reads ' photos are bing imported to the library. Please wait for import to complete.'
i can't empty iPhoto trash either. The message read "Delete error. Please wait for import to complete.'
WHen I was moving the photos to the Events I always had a message about duplicates - to the effect that the photos already existed, did I want to import them? I clicked on Yes, import all duplicates. But when it showed the images - duplicates side by side - one showed the photo and the other was blank.
I really don't know what to do! And I don't know how to handle my iOS devices. Is it to do with the large number of photos? Any help, advice appreciated.

When you plug in your phone go to the sidebar on the left, select the device, and select the menu you want to sync.
For example at the top there is summary, info, apps, movies, etc.
If you wanted to sync movies go under there and pick and chose the movies you want on the device.
Let's assume you are doing that and syncing is not going properly. Then first double check that there is a checkmark in the top left of that page that says sync movies
If there is uncheck and then hit apply. Then it will take all the movies off. Now re-check everything and hit apply.

Does it say that it works with iOS devices (iPhone, iPod touch or iPhone)? iOS devices have a different format/file system than other iPods.

When you go onto iTunes and you have plugged the device in it comes up at the top saying 'summary' 'info' etc if you press onto 'apps' does it show that they are ticked where it says sync apps? if not then tick it, sync it and hopefully that will help?

Icloud calender will sync to my iPad but not to my iPhone

hi all
my calendar entries made from either my mac or ipad will sync perfectly to icloud, and does show up on both my ipad 1 and my ipad 2 , and on my wifes iphone 4s, but NOT on my iphone 4S
if i turn off calendar on the iphone 4s, and turn it on again, it will sync and show all calendar entries from the icloud, but after that, nothing happens.
the strange thing is , if i edit or make a new calendar entry on my iphone, i will show up in all the other devices, but entry´s made from other devices will not show op on my iphone?
have tried to delete the icloud account on the iphone, and set it up again, and at first everything works, but newer calendar entries, doesnt come throught...
i have compared the settings on both my iphone 4 and my wife, and they are exactly the same,
can anyone give me a hint of what to do

ipads are are designed to sync with only one computer. You need to choose one of the two and maintain all your music,photos etc. on that one computer.

No idea what this means, unless you say what you have tried. When you say that you have tried "all", it really does not encourage anyone to make suggestions. If you have tried it all, then, by definition, there is nothing left to try.

If you have never shared your password with anyone then your account was hacked. NOT your iPhone, your Apple ID. If you use the same password for other accounts any of them could have been hacked, and your password obtained from that other account. If your password was simple it could have been hacked by brute force. If it is a word found in any dictionary especially. Or if there is anything personally identifiable about it (nickname, pets name, address, name of someone you know).
The really important thing is to get it resolved QUICKLY with Apple Security, and to change all passwords that might have been stored in an iCloud backup of your phone.
