VPRS cost copying different in Returns order and Credit for returns

Hi SAP Gurus,
we created returns order, returns delivery and Credit for Returns.But the VPRS cost copying in Credit for Returns different than Returns order.I have tested in DEV its working fine but in PRD its taking different. I compared copy contrls,condition settings and pricing procedure i didnt found any difference. where i need to check other than these areas.
Regards,
Nooka

Hi,
If if works in DEV then there is no problem with configuration.(Compare configuration of DEV with PRD).
Please check that all change request are moved correctly or not,speciallty related to your scenario.
Any enhancement  change request are moved or not.(Because DEV and PRD are different clients. Some requests are client specific.)
Thanks,

  • BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 for Return Orders and Credit Orders

    Dear experts,
    I've been searching the SDN forums for information about the usage of BAPIs to create Sales Orders, Return Orders and Credit Memos. Unfortunately it seems hard to get consistent answers around the usage of BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2.
    Is it, or is it not possible, to use BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 to create Return Orders and Credit Memos with reference to other documents? Can someone please let me know if they have successfully implemented this scenario?
    Many thanks and best regards,
    Anna Englund

    When you see the Code inside the BAPI BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2
    CALL FUNCTION 'SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CREATE'
           EXPORTING
                SALESDOCUMENT           = salesdocumentin
                SALES_HEADER_IN         = ORDER_HEADER_IN
                SALES_HEADER_INX        = ORDER_HEADER_INX
                SENDER                  = SENDER
                BINARY_RELATIONSHIPTYPE = BINARY_RELATIONSHIPTYPE
                INT_NUMBER_ASSIGNMENT   = INT_NUMBER_ASSIGNMENT
                BEHAVE_WHEN_ERROR       = BEHAVE_WHEN_ERROR
                LOGIC_SWITCH            = LOGIC_SWITCH
                BUSINESS_OBJECT         = *'BUS2032'*
    see it is only used for Sales Order(since BUS2032 is for sales order).
    you need to create or copy the BAPI BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2  to custom Function.
    then change the Business Object to BUS2094 (it is for Credit memo) . Reference i tried it didn't work that time. you check it once  with the new Custom FM.

  • Restrict new price conditions in the return order and credit note

    Dear Expert
    We are facing a scenario where we make return order; the Price is copied from the invoice. And it is working perfectly. The system does not allow us to change the price.
    The issue we are facing here is that user can input new condition like discount /premium and change the net value for the return order pricing, and this will reflect in the credit note for returns.
    Is there a way to restrict the user from entering any pricing condition in the header or item conditions tab.
    although we cannot change the original price coming from invoice referenced for return order, but the user can input new price conditions as below. This must not be allowed.
    The price must come according to the Qty being referenced.
    While making the credit for returns, the user has a chance of further making changes to the net value by adding new conditions. Hence this must also be restricted for any changes.
    Thanks

    Hi
    Firstly,In copy control maintain anyone of the pricing types
    D: Copy pricing elements unchanged
    E: Copy pricing elements and values unchanged
    To avoid all these things go with  USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION but before going with the user exit,also check with transaction variant SHD0.

  • Approval required for raising credit memo request and credit for returns.

    hi experts,
    In Standard SAP, credit memo request has a credit billing block. It has to be released by an authorised person. But for my client
    it has to be approved by 4 persons. In case of returns, Credit for returns also needs to be approved by 4 persons.
    Client wants Yes or No  pop-up screen
    The chart Showing Approval for Credit Memo from four users, if all four users approve u201CYesu201D Credit Memo can be issued. And it cannot be issued if any of the four users doesnu2019t approve for credit memo.
           Credit Memo request
    approval by USER1
    approval by USER2
    approval by USER3
    approval by USER4
    Credit Memo
    Any idea or suggestion doing this please share...

    Hi,
    In our project,we have a similar requirement.
    For this,we have developed a "Z" table which has the fields as "Credit control area",Customer credit group from,customer credit group to,Refund value from,refund value to,Approval Levels(values like Cash colletion credit manager,Senior order sales manager etc....These values were maintained in Domain),First Approver,Additional Approver,Additional Approver and e-mail address for rejections.
    The values for First,additional approvers will be fileld with position numbers which were created by HR team.
    Based on the Sales value,a work item will be created in approver's mail box i.e. in SBWP T.Code.If no action has been taken,then an escalation is going to send to managers of these three approvers.This Heirarchy will be mainatined in HR module.
    Please check with your ABAPer for developing this logic.

  • Credit note, credit memo and credit for returns

    All,
    Can anyone explain to me the difference of the followong scenarios?
    -Credit note
    -Credit memo
    -Credit for return
    tia - Pablito

    credit note and credit memo are same i.e when u pass the credit to the customer because of the excess amount u taken for example the high priced invoice, to balance it u create this type of document.
    credit for returns is exclusively when you take back ur damaged goods for example u return the value of the goods to customer thru this type of document.

  • Return order and credit memo request

    Hi SD guru,
    If goods returned by the customer then what is the appropriate sales order type i should use means whether i have to create the credit memo request or return sales.
    Please elaborate both scenarios where exactly i can use sales order type return and credit memo request.
    Thanks

    hi sajid
    when ur creating the Return order use the doc type RE in standard
    followed by return delivery LR adn billing ths nothing but the creditmemo.
    if your supposed to just adjust the values . then use the G2 credit memo request , with reference to the billing doc for which ur intending to issue the credit memo,and credit memo by billing the same .
    hope this answers your question

  • Credit for returns document

    Hi,
    During returns process, we create returns sales order type ZRE which is thereby blocked for billing. Now when we remove the block from VA02 and then prepare the credit note RE via VF01, it gets created irrespective of the returns delivery and Post goods receipt.
    Now my client's requirement is that they want to create the credit note with reference to the Sales returns document only but they want the Post goods receipt to be made mandatory so that with out creating returns delivery and posting the goods receipt credit note does not get created.
    Please help me.

    Dear Pavi ranjan,
    If the business needs RE to be created with reference to the RETURNS ORDER , but it has to check for the PGR, then
    its better to make the copy control from ORDER to DELIVERY and make RE a delivery related billing.
    So that Credit memo wont be created without the PGR.
    Now if the RE is created based on the return order and CREDIT NOTE RE should not be created without PGR, then it means that business doesnt want order related billing at all.
    Please discuss with the business on this and revert back.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • FD33 Open sales value against credit for return

    Dear Gurus,
    In a particular situation, we had to cancel the sale of a customer for an entire month. Among list of all invoices, we had few cases where returns/PGRs were done and Credit For Returns were issued. All invoices without returns were easily cancelled and sales were reversed.
    However, FD33 still shows Open Sales Value (with such open sales order against which returns were punched). Here, An attempt was made to cancel 'Credit for return' but its PGR was not allowed to be reversed because the stock was not there or reprocessed for any reason. Similar behavior was there for all such few returns.
    Now, in order to raise a single order, we need to clear this open sales value.
    Have your suggestions here please.
    Regards.

    Hi
    However, FD33 still shows Open Sales Value (with such open sales order against which returns were punched).
    For those orders against which returns were processed you are seeing open sales value. Right? Why those orders are open? If sale return as been processed then their status should be closed and if they are not required to process in future then reject them. If sale orders are open then there value would be there in FD33.
    Moreover how did you know that this value is against those sale orders? Have you verified it with orders or is it just your idea? What is the value of this open sale order in FD33? Try to match it woth orders and identify which orders are causing this open sale order value.
    Thank$

  • What are the costs we collect in maintenance order  and work order

    what are the costs we collect in maintenance order  and work order
    is work order and maintenance order differeent or same

    Usually the main costs of maintenance are the spare parts and labour. And these are the costs we would like to track per maintenance job from a maintenance management perspective. There could also be cases where other costs such as travel to place where the equipment is might be required to be collected in the maintenance order.
    In SAP there is no term called work order. But loosely the term is sometimes used for maintenance or service order. Probably even production orders also.

  • Quantity is different from sale order and delivery

    Hi,
    Gurus,
    Quantity is different from sale order and delivery.
    I identified the Material in the sales order, the item category for this material as BOM.
    I have also checked the bill of material display header overview. The Base Quantity maintained as 1000 EA3. The SUBITEM maintained in G in the unit field in bill of material display.
    Accordingly i have checked the same for material master's additionl data in Units of Measure tab, it is mentioned the basic unit as 1000 EA3 and alternative unit as 600 G.
    My client processed the order for 100 QTY. The QTY for the two sub item is 99.601 each in the sale order.
    My client Question is why in delivery the Material Qty is coming as 99.730 and the SUB ITEM is coming as 99.330 EACH.
    Note:- The material X is maintained in EA3 in Bill of material header overview. I do no how the sale unit came as G for the Material in sale order.
    The other two sub item is perfectly coming as G. Because it is maintained in G in the Bill of Material Display.
    Guide me GURUS.
    Thanks and Regards,
    ANAND

    Hello Rumar
    I guess you entered the text manually in the sales order. The Ship-to may not be having any text, but the Sold-to may be and it may be coming from sold to.
    In transaction VOTXN, check the access sequence for the text type id and see which one takes precedence - one from customer master or from the order by checking the order of accesses.

  • Copy Control between Sales Orders and Deliveries

    Hi Gurus,
    please can you tell me why copy control between Sales Order and Delivery doesn't work?
    At header level, into copy control, we can set 2 requirement routines, one as general requirement for copying (TVCPL-AUBED) and the other one as requirement for grouping orders into deliveries (TVCPL-AUZUS).
    At header level we can also set a routine for data transfer to define how data are passed from Sales Order header to Delivery header (TVCPL-GRUAK).
    Then we can set routines at item level, one as requirement (TVCPL-AUBED) and one as data transfer (TVCPL-GRUAP).
    When delivery is created with VL10A transaction, at header level only the first  general requirement routine is used (FV50B***). Grouping requirement is not used (we also set a break point and the program is not passing into this routine).
    Then it is used the requirement routine at item level (FV50B***).
    Please can you tel me how we camake working the routine for grouping requirement at header level?
    Thank you very much.
    Kind Regards
    Andrea

    Hi, we used standard routine even if to be sure we run also the generation report you mentioned.
    Please any other suggestions?
    Thank you very much.

  • Additive cost not seen in production order and while settling hits PRD

    I am using additive costs for my product costing via CK74n.
    Cost estimate looks good since I have the valuation variants setup to include additive costs.
    But when I see the production order that is being created, all others costs are being considered except additive costs. They are recognized but not as a line item instead as a variance. When I settle the order the costs actually hit price difference account and not even the GL account that I had assigned for the additive cost. SAP did not consider the cost as variance even if it was showing up as variance initially. This as I understood is partly because of the settlement rule that I have in place which tells SAP to go and settle on the material (which is standard SAP to do since I want all the costs from the production order to settle on the eventual material going into stock) so SAP went on to settling on the material. Since the material is set as standard price the variance is being booked as a price difference entry.
    Ideally I would have expected the additive cost getting debited to the order and credited to the gl account that I assigned for the additive cost. The eventual cost (incl. additive cost) should hit the inventory.
    Am I missing a step?

    Hi Sapluver,
    Appreciate your prompt response..Please see my response in italics
    Few queries related to your post.
    1. So your standard cost got two part, one with quantity structure ( materials, labor, OSC etc) which the system cost automatically and one manual part, which is your additive cost. While costing system picks up this manual part from CK74N.
    I hope this part you got correct. Yes, the cost estimate is reading from both the qty structure and the additive costs and the cost roll-up is coming up correctly
    2. Now in actual cost controlling, i think System is not sure how to valuate your additive cost actual part.I agree, the additive cost does appear in the cost analysis section of the production order but does not show up as a line item initially. Instead it comes up as a difference item right in the bottom of the screen after totals have been displayed without any line item reference. As if the system is not sure how to display the line item. Once I have done the material issuance confirmation to the order, the additive cost got picked up correctly as I have set it up in the cost component structure as material overhead but again shows up only as variance
    Which method you used to debit your production order with additive cost, is it a normal journal entry or through some automatic posting through routing ( example OSC through Purchase order/Good Receipt).I probably need to understand your point more clearly? I am not manually debiting the production order at all for the additive cost. I was expecting SAP to debit the order the same way it does for overheads. Overheads too initially show up as variance but then when we run the overhead calculation KGI2 the overheads costs get debited to the production order. Was expecting similar behavior for additive costs. I am receiving the finished product from the production order into stock via MIGO goods receipt movement type 101. I was expecting the debit to happen perhaps at the time of settlement via CO88 but here the system posted it to the price difference account via account key PRD. This I understand the system did because the settlement rule is set to post all the costs on the material and the material has the valuation control as standard price; so the system is seeing the additive cost as a price difference hence posting it to the price difference account.
    System is unaware of the additive cost from actual cost point of view, there is no specification to additive cost from costing variant for actual cost. So you have to debit the order with the additive cost part.So do I manually debit the order with the additive cost? What about the price difference additive cost sitting on the order? Would appreciate if you can tell me the process steps for posting this correctly
    regards

  • VF04 - Listing both Return Orders and Delivery

    Hi Experts!
    I have a situation where by, when creating Return orders and delivery is done. When we go into VF04, when we select "order related" and "delivery related", there's two documents that can be invoiced. Either invoicing through order related or delivery related. How can we avoid this. I thought by default it should be delivery related unless it is a service related order that doesn't require delivery.
    Anye ideas of where to check?

    Dear,
    check in customizing for the sales document type you use for Return sales order what you maintained in the tab view Billing.
    Checkboxes of VF04 are linked to the definition of your sales document type.
    If your Return sales order needs to be only billed as delivery related, in cuztomizing you should have only maintained in the billing tab view the field Dlv-rel.billing type.
    If in customizing you maintained both: Dlv-rel.billing type and Order-rel.bill.type then when you go to VF04 and you check the two checkboxes you will always find your document.
    I hope this explanation may help you.
    In case I misunderstood your issue, do not hesitate to post you answer back.
