Vs_professional unsuccessful installation

Hi! I just want to ask. When I installed vs_professional, it shows that the set up was completed but still there's an error:
*Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Office Developer Tools (x64)
The digital signature of the object did not verify.
Then, I thought that I have to download and install Visual Studio 2010 Office Developer Tools (x64) but it is still the same.

Maybe a previous installed VSTO is affecting this issue. Please try use msiinv tool from this blog:
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2005/07/01/using-msiinv-to-gather-information-about-what-is-installed-on-a-computer.aspx
It will list all your installed programs.
Please remove all VSTO related components by using msiexec /x <product code> and then reinstall the VSTO.

I see that you are getting a "error 5" when trying to install the printer software. I would like to help you out today.
I would run the SFC on the computer to repair any damaged or corrupt windows files.
Scannow to Repair Protected Windows Operating System Files.
Right click on the installer and "Run as Administrator.
If the issue persists, create a new Administrator Account and run the install from there.
User Accounts in Windows 7.

Adobe Reader 2.0 unsuccessful installation - bug

Yesterday I discovered weird bug in installation of Adobe Reader for Pocket PC 2.0. Installation failed with message "installation was unsuccessful". After long investigation I found, that file "Adobe Reader User Guide.pdf" exists in "My Documents" folder (it was copied by ActiveSync synchronization). When I removed it, installation was successful. I hope it will help somebody.

Retry of unsuccessful installation of Photoshop Elements fails because it cannot find files which it believes to be present in order to remove them first.

W7 CD of both Photoshop Element and Premiere Elements 12: Could get the Organizer of Photoshop installed and working but could not install the editor completely; Premiere Elements seemed to install OK but I was at the time only interested in using Photoshop so did not verify this. Read instructions in Troubleshoot Installation, and for convenience dragged the CD files to the C Drive. I then re-ran the installation process, which initially tries to uninstall the existing installation but this failed as it stated that some files were in use. I ended up uninstalling Premiere Elements because of the shared components but this made no difference. I used Windows Remove Programs tool but it stated that some files were in use so could not be removed. I used autoruns to search for and prevent from launching at Startup, all Adobe s/w, then searched for and tried to remove all Photoshop files but got the same message. I have subsequently discovered that I need to remove them in a specific order, next I ran CCleaner to clear the registry. Still the same problem, so tried the install from a Clean Boot. Same problem, the wording is currently Error 2343 Specified Path is empty. I re-installed Premiere Elements which appears again to be OK before try to re-install Photoshop Elements - the same error message appears. The Start search box finds 3 register entries for Photoshop but no files. The register entries date are from earlier installation attempts on different dates: cc_20141016_211910.reg ......_141008.reg .........._213127 Should these be manually deleted? Any other suggestions?

I did uninstall Adobe Air, Adobe Reader XI and another Adobe product, rebooted, and after this the installation was possible with no problems!

Trying to reinstall existing CC on a new mac unsuccessfully- installer corrupted?

i have the apps but no CC for updates- after downloading the installer, i'm getting this error: Adobe Creative Cloud is needed to resolve this problem. However, its missing or damaged. Please download and install a new copy of the Creative Cloud from www.adobe.com/go/adobecreativecloudapp.
when i do this, its consistenly corrupted and wont install correctly.

SL doesn't boot after unsuccessful installation

Hello,
I wanted to upgrade to SL, but after 10 minutes of installation there was only a black screen. After 15 minutes i shut it down and tried to reboot.
The system didn't boot SL, after displaying the apple for 5 minutes the screen went black again. So i decided to boot from dvd. But the same error occured again. I can't even see the harddrive after pressing ALT, there is just the sign of the DVD and the Windows partition, which still can boot.
trying to boot osx: (last two lines)
"BootCacheControl: could not unlink playlist /var/db/BootCache.playlist: Unknown error: -1
Bug: launchctl.c :2325 (23930):30: (dbfd = open(gjob_overrides_dbpath; 0_RDONLY | 0_EXLOCK | 0_CREAT, S_IRUSR | S_IWUSR)) != -1
after 2 minutes it displays more, bit shuts down too fast to read it.
Does somebody have a solution? I really need a running OS as fast as can. Thank you!

Hi there again, thank you, but the problem was totally different
When i tried to boot for the 7th or 8th time, i turned on the light of my very bright anglepoise lamp and could see a very weak/lite (don't know the english word :D) contrast of a dialogue box. I tried to increase the brightness of the screen but it didn't work, so i focused the lamp directly on the screen (in a distance of 1 inch) and saw the dialogue box of the SL installation
Now everything is working, also the lighting of the screen.

Unsuccessful installation of Crativ Cloud

Question? When I downloaded the Creative Cloud and should approve the conditions in terms, I slipped on the keyboard and the box disappeared. As I'll try to open up creativ cloud but it doesn't work. Nothing happens. I try to login, I get a strange message. Seems like Creativ Cloud not been installed fully. Is it possible to remove and try to install again? How do I?

XML (BI) Publisher desktop plug-in installation error

I'm trying to install Oracle XML Publisher Desktop 5.5 plug-in on Windows Vista OS. Installation fails with the following error message - "Word application is running. Please close Word application and retry installation", even though no Word application is running on the system during the setup (not even Outlook).
Location C:\Program Files\Oracle\XML Publisher Desktop shows only 3/5 folders namely demos, samples and Word Template Builder with 'TemplateBuilder.dot' file missing in the Word Template Builder (due to unsuccessful installation).
I've tried to remove these files and reinstall again but to no success. I'm not sure if this is a bug or anything, your help with a resolution of this problem will be greatly appreciated.

Clear the registry and remove any references of the XML publisher add-on. You can try using a s/w called 'CCleaner' to do this

Finally I Was able to get CS3 Master suite installed . all of it.
( and cannot afford cs4 so here we are) after many many unsuccessful installs and uninstall's).
by just doing it one to two programs at a time. ( or a complete suite) which worked perfectly.
after months of playing around with this program which was poorly designed as a suite for total installation.
the installer always would hang up, or if it did complete it would install a shell of the program but not the program.
so one day I decided to go into the cs3 setup folder and unchecked all the boxes and just installed one at a time. if they were the same suite I would just do the complete suite. and this process worked perfectly.
the licensing went off with out a hitch as each program asks for the license which is called for at the beginning of installation. so far each component works perfectly..
I just wish Adobe would get its developers together and design an install program that will install with out problems. just like i hear the business one does.

do not choose install.
choose: browse DVD content
choose: in the right panel choose: adobe cs3 (file folder)
in right panel choose setup.exe.
You will see initializing adobe cs3...
next popup will be"Manage Adobe Creative Suite 3 Master Collection Installer: System Check"
from this point it will check any adobe products on your system and show you its status,
*now a box will pop up : choose install \ reinstall. or remove components.
Choose install \ reinstall
another window will popup with check boxes already checked just uncheck all and chen check one or two at a time ( experiment a little here)
and install in groups of two or three, or as a single app.
upon each install ( groups or single) you will be asked to restart, and do so.
again you will have to navigate to the folder as before, but this time
by the time I finished this over a three day period I had all suites installed. ( dreamweaver had already been installed with no problems) and registered most so far. still have a few more registrations to go..
good luck and you can email me if any questions as i have spent a lot of hours as most have installing, uninstalling, cleaning up and over again.

SAP BPC installation - Errors during setup in the create database step

Hi! I have a real big problem installing SAP BPC. It's a Microsoft multi-server installation.
I've got two servers: 1) the database server with the SQL Database and Analysis Server 2) the application server with all the rest.
I log on and I installed everything on the servers with a specific domain user: this user is administrator on both servers and even on SQL Server.
My problem occours when I execute the "SAP BPC setup" on the application server: during the "create database" step I receive two errors:
first error pop-up:
Error ([SQL-DMO]This cache contains no result sets, or the current result set contains no rows.)
second error pop-up:
System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Cannot open database "ApShell" requested by the login. The login failed. Login failed for user MyDomain\MyUser
After the SAP BPC setup:
- in the SQL Database Engine the ApShell database was created
- nothing for ApShell was created in Analysis Sever
- in the Even Viewer of the database server I've got this error: Login failed for user 'MyDomain\MyUser'.
It's very strange because if from the application server, using "SQL Server Management Studio" (always with 'MyDomain\MyUser'), I connect to the database server: I can login, create and delete databases on the SQL Database Engine and even on Analysis Server without any sort of problem.
To complete my status, I can say you Analysis Sever is on the default port. I use SQL Server 2005 and I even tryed to reinstall it and SAP BPC but nothing change.
At this point I checked these two topics on this forum:

Problem during BPC installation
1) At first I tryied this solution:
Into multiserver installation guide is specified that actually in case of multiserver environment you have to copy apshell.db9 file from installation kit into db server. Into a drive from where SQL server is able to read when you are doing restore with Management Studio.
During the installation you have to go into advance options and to specified the path (local path from db server where you did the copy of apshell.db9).
but nothing change: the "SAP BPC setup" problem I have still persists.
2) Then I tryed this workaround:
If so, you can try a "restore appset" from server manager. Rename the Apshell.db9 file (or copy it) and name it Apshell.bak
During server manager restore, point only to the Apshell.bak file. Server Manager will tell you that webfolders and filedb files are missing, but it found the webfolders and filedb (again, only if the original bpc installation successfully created those folders)- and then it will try to restore Apshell.
That may work in spite of whatever problem is keeping the installation program from performing the same tasks.
but the "restore database" fails > I've got the error written in red: OLAP database - fail
What can I do to solve the problem? If it is necessary, I can reinstall SQL Server and SAP BPC but I need to know the way to solve the setup error.

Thanx very much to everyone for the kind support. Unfortunatly, my problem persists.
- SQL server is EE.
- I installed SQL server (including SSAS) using MyDomain\MyUser.
- MyDomain\MyUser is windows administrator on both servers.
- MyDomain\MyUser is SQL Server and SSAS administrator.
- SSAS service is running under the same service account than the SQL Service.
- All my MSSQL services runs as Local System.
- I'm installing SAP BPC using MyDomain\MyUser.
- I also checked the SSAS service account specific rights to the SSAS data folders.
SAP BPC installation still fails exactly as above (popup errors during SAP BPC setup, no ApShell etc. etc).
In the database server, windows event viewer errors after the unsuccessful installation are:
1) SOURCE: MSSQLSERVER
Failure Audit: Login failed for user MyDomain\MyUser
2) SOURCE: MSSQLSERVER
BackupDiskFile::OpenMedia: Backup device 'MyPath' failed to open. Operating system error 5(Access is denied.).
As regard as point 1: The Failure Audit error into the event viewer happens only during SAP BPC installation. Otherwise it is always Success Audit.
Also, as I told you, if from the application server I connect with SQL Server console to SSAS, located on the database server, using MyDomain\MyUser: I can create delete SSAS dbs without any sort of problem.
For point 2:
I tried 4 differents SAP BPC installations as follows:
- to go into advance options and to specified the path (local path from db server where I did the copy of apshell.db9).
- to go into advance options and to specified the path (local path from application server where is the copy of apshell.db9).
- to go into advance options and to specified the path (network path of a share folder with apshell.db9 and permissions to everyone)
- to don't go into advance options and to don't specify the path.
but every time nothing change: the "SAP BPC setup" problem I have during my initial post still persists. In the same way I written at the beginning of the topic.
I don't know how to solve it.

Failed to Start Oracel Internet Directory in installation

I tried to install OID in a RHEL5.3 server (a VM with 45GB hard disk and 2.6GB RAM) which hosts an Oracle 11g too. At the last step of "Start Oracle Internet Directory" failed. I have no choice but "Cancel" the installation.
I have chosen "Install and Configure", and selected "Configure without a Domain", then I deselected "Oracle Virtual Directory" at "Configure Components" left with OID only.
The only thing caught my eyes are a warning of "initialization processes is less than 500" and a warning on character set. I have chosen to ignore them.
Everything seems smooth until the last step. How to check whether it actually finished except the OID start or else?
Any suggestion? and why?
fix or re-install?
If I want to re-install, can I install over the existing one or should I deinstall first?

When I installed the OID, I set Oracle Middleware Home Location: /u01/app/middleware; after the unsuccessful installation, three directory were created under there:
Oracle_IDM1, asinst_1 and oracle_common
I ran the "runInstaller -deinstall" under IDENTITY_MANAGEMENT_ORACLE_HOME/oui/bin (in my case, which is /u01/app/middleware/Oracle_IDM1/oui/bin), it did clean some files under IDENTITY_MANAGEMENT_ORACLE_HOME, however left with "asinst_1" and "oracle_common".
I noticed that there is another runInstaller under "oracle_common"; but after I ran the "runInstaller -deinstall" under Oracle_IDM1/oui/bin, it will not be able to run ""runInstaller -deinstall" under "oracle_common" any more, saying "The Java RunTime Environment was not found ...."
Should I clean the oracle_common and asinst_1 manually or what?

How to recover from 'INSTALLER LOG SHARED BUFFER IS FUL' during Yosemite install/upgrade?

My MacBook Pro is currently out of commission as it will only boot into the Yosemite Install process which currently cannot be completed successfully.
I learned (after the fact) of the install issues related to homebrew but from that helpful article I found out about Cmd-L to open the Log Viewer.
I've had two unsuccessful installs now. The first took 5+ hours. Since it was taking so long, I left it running over night with the Log Viewer running. I awoke to a failed install with 'Line 128,493 - INSTALLER LOG SHARED BUFFER IS FUL' as the last output in the log viewer. I figured that maybe it was the actual Log Viewer that was causing the issue, but alas my second attempt failed and I only had the log viewer open briefly part way through the process. Even without the Log Viewer running, it hit the same errror.
Is there a way I can reenable Mavericks to move some files around in preparation for the install? I don't have the hardware to mount the laptop as a target disk - if I brought the machine to the Apple Store would they let me mount my MBP and move stuff around so I could minimize the install process? Anyone else have any suggestions?

As for question 1) I can aster that myself: yes, the installer is still running.
My installation just finished now and seems to be fine. However, if someone has a clue about question 2) it would be great to hear the answer.

Installation DM 4.6 fails

It's been two days and nothing done so far. Read every posts related to this, but failed.
I've got a CD coming with my BB 9000 Bold. Didn't work. Got a message " Your system has not been modified. To install this program at a later time, please run the installation again."
Tried to download DM 4.6 withoue media manager from the website to my PC (Window Vista) and took 100 years. But noithing worked.
Please help me! Please let me know one by one where to begin and where is the end of this suffering.

Try using MSI Cleanup from Microsoft to remove any leftovers of a previous unsuccessful installation.
