[WAD] Logoff / Logout button in web report

Dear all,
Is it possible to put a Logoff/Logout button (or link) in web report? Pls. share your experinces.

This is what i did..

Hi gurus,
We were trying to add a print button on Web report for printing the result area on the Web report.
We followed the steps which has given in the How-to-guide How To Web Printing with Microsoft
Excel document.
In the document it has mentioned that
1. Support package should be above 19 for BW 3.5 version
2. Add HTML code in the WAD Template
3. Import Transport file into the System.
4. Apply OSS notes 736568 and 737082 to BW
We upgraded the support package to 22, added the html code in the WAD template, imported the transport file into the BW system and applied the OSS notes as per the mentioned in the document.
The transport file contains the Package u201CZPK_WEB_PRINTING_WITH_EXCELu201D and ABAP Classes u201CZCL_RSR_XLS_GRIDu201D,
u201CZCL_RSR_XLS_HELP_WINDOW_PRINTu201D,
u201CZCL_RSR_XLS_ITEM_CONDITIONu201D,

After import the transport file into BW, some of the objects in the ABAP Classes were not activated. I was trying to activate manually but those were not activating.
Please guide me how to resolve the above issue or is there any way to get the printing the web report?

If you want to print the web page directly then you can define a button using Java script and you can do it.
Define java script code to print the page
for ex define a button and call function for print.
i cannot attach the code. but you can solve with java script

Hiding refresh button in Webi Report

Hello experts,
I would like to hide 'refresh' button on webi report in XI 3.1. One way to do this is using rights which I don't intend to use at this stage.
Do we have any other way out to do this task?

Options:
a) roll your own viewer/portal - probably the safest bet, although a bit unwieldy if Infoview works fine and you only want to make this specific change
b) make changes to Infoview's javascript files that render the toolbar buttons - entirely unsupported by SAP as well as a maintenance headache during upgrades
c) ...revisit your reasons for not being able to disable refresh of the report to users - surely there's a security matrix that satisfies your requirement. If there isn't (meaning that, for whatever reason you need these users to refresh against this content area in normal scenarios but want it disabled for this portion of your workflow) - then there are kludgy "work arounds" like adding/removing the user to/from a "no refresh" group you've created in the CMC, programmatically, when running the report(s)

How to disable refresh button in webi reports in BOXI3.1SP2-Java SDK

Hi all,
We have integrated Java with BO, here end users will give parameters through java screen. After submitting all the parameters webi reports will opens in separate window.
Here requirement is end users should pass the parameters from java screen and they should able to save the report in to excel/PDF.
Refresh/edit buttons should disable/hide in the webi report.
below is the sample url we are using in the java.

why do not set this over the authorization scheme? Just deny your users the right to refresh/edit the report.

Download Button in Web Report

Hi Experts,
I want to Add a Click Button on my Web Template. Which would let me download the report in Excel File.
On click of the button it should show my target place as desktop or download folder.
Do anyone know whether we have any option in Bex WAD.

Webi Report : Drill Functionality not working properly

Hello Guru's,
I am working on Webintelligence Rich Client XI 3.1 FP 3.5.
I have created a hierarchy Country -> Region -> Location -> Customer and Sales Amount in my universe. I exported it to CMC and Created a Webi Report. I selected Country and Sales Amount only into the output screen and clicked on DRILL button in Webi Report and it showed me a line below Country which represents the drilldown is ON now.
When i clicked on Country, it drills to Region and when i select any region, it drills to location and then to customer. The objects which is drilled that we can see in the Report filter (in the toolbar). Now, if i want to change Country or Region or Location directly (rather then click on Up, Up and Up). So, i clicked on the objects available in the report filter (in the toolbar), it doesn't show me the other contries or Region or Location while i see the same functionality in the standard Webi report (Formatted Report for Drill) given by SAP. If i drill any dimension then it comes in the Report Filter tool bar then i can see all the values for that dimension in the Report Filter and i can change it any time.
What is the difference in that filters ? Do i have to make any settings ?

We are trying to build a BW hierarchy based webi report. Trying to use drill features on charts.
Then using this document link in our website ,which is used on Mobiles.
The problem here is - I cannot drill up on an hierarchy using on mobile without right click.Is there any way to do do this?

Disable designbutton in webi reports BO 4.1

Hello!
I want to disable the design button in webi reports for everyone except a small group.
The problem I have is that if I disable the "Application mode buttons" for the group "Everyone" the button also is disabled for the group should be able to see it.
Are there anyway to disable this button for everyone except for a specific group?

Hi Carly
That would solve the problem at the moment.
But if new users log in with AD authentication their user is created and put into a AD domain group it will work as long as no new groups are introduced in our AD domain.
So I guess that I could do like that, I only need to remember to change this on a new group when it is created.
And I was hoping there was a solution where I could say that a single group would take precedence over the "Everyone" group as there are quite a few groups to do this on

Logoff / Logout Web Browser

Hi,
I have an application that is run on a brower (Internet Explorer). We want a logout button. I know that when you click the x in IE, it closes the browser and you are logged out of SAP. My question is: upon clicking the x, is there some background process that logs you off of SAP? or is the logoff merely a side effect?

Hi Audrey,
if you mean a Web Dynpro application there is a small JavaScript event handler which reacts on closing the browser window and does a specific server request to initiate cleanup and logoff.

Change order of key figure is not working in Web report output (using WAD)

Hi,
We are using BI 7.0, release 701 and level 008. We are facing problem in WAD (web report output). When ever we do 'Select filter' for key figures and 'change the order' of key figures, it does not get reflected in new order. Though drag and drop of key figures is working.
Though same change order is working fine in Bex Analyser.
Kindly suggest some inputs.

How to activate Button on Web in Reports 6i ?

Hi,
Iam using reports 6i, Oracle 9ias and Oracle 9i database.
I need to add a push button or small Text like "Insert"
for each row in the report. When the user click on this button or text, I need to call a procedure to insert a row into the table.
I have created a Button inside the report and calling stored procedure in the action trigger of this button. This works fine when I run in the Report builder. But when I move this report to the Web, the button is just disabled means its not active. User is unable to click.
Is there any way to achieve this in the report if the button does not work ?

I found in metalink that Buttons are not going to be supported in Reports 9i. Instead use SRW.set_hyper_link.
This is fine for calling detail reports.
But what to do for calling Stored procedures inside the Pl/Sql trigger of Button action?
Is there anyway to use SRW.set_hyper_link to achieve this?
Please help me as this is very urgent.

No variable Screen when accessing web reports via "New analysis" button

Hello !
I need some help or explanation :
I'm on a web report (Java) and i want to access another report.
I click on the "new analysis" button on the top, then i open the "roles" folder and select a report.
The new report start but without the prompt screen with the variable selection.
I also saw that the URL shown on Internet explorer is the old one (not the new querie URL)
This is the same problem with all my queries when accessing them via the "new analysis" menu.
Why is this screen squeezed ?
I need to have these variable entries !
I've tried some modification on 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN .... (porperties / variable) = no effect

I've exactly the same problem ! I've changed WT properties to ON for Variable Screen, Reset Variables etc... but it has no effect...
