WADLogs table not being recreated

Hi,
I have an app that is using WADLogs table to store diagnostic trace messages from the app. Recently I have deleted my wadlogs table to clean up space. I have done it once before an azure recreated my wadlogs table, but not this time. Can anyone give me hints
where to dig for solution?

Hi,
There was a similar thread
http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/windowsazure/en-US/3ecb9412-e312-430c-b971-53c90e715423/wadlogstable-not-being-created?forum=windowsazuredevelopment
Here is a solution in that thread
 I did notice that Table monitoring on the Windows Azure dashboard was off. I set it to "minimal" and the table finally showed up.
Hope this helps

  • Check box in a table not being read on auto read by JAWS(Screen Reader)

    Hi Experts,
    I am working on Accessible pages in ADF. Check box in table is not being read on "Auto Read" function by jaws. Auto read is a function that allows the user to start the screen reader at the top of the page and read the entire thing that is provided by JAWS. I have even specified label property for af:selectBooleanCheckbox. Can anyone help me regarding this issue.
    Regards,

  • PQH TABLES NOT BEING POPULATED BY EMPLOYEE SELF SERVICE

    For reporting purposes I need to create different reports listing all the transactions that are coming from Employee Self S
    ervice. As workforce tables are purged (i.g. wf_items) I need to create it using
    the pqh tables (i.g. pqh_ss_transaction_history) but unfortunately they are not
    being populated. Is there any audit configuration in order to save ESS transact
    ions in the PQH schema? Or are there any other tables where these transactions a
    re always saved?
    Thank you
    Facundo

    I think the PQH History tables are only populated when there have been approvals.
    To report on the SSHR transactions, you ay need to increase the time limit before they are purged and extract them to another table(s) fro reporting.

    Tim

  • Changes to tables not being picked up by certain Headstart Utilities

    I modified an existing table in our repository by adding a new column to the table. This column has the same properties as another column in the table. The Headstart utility 'Maintain Default Events For Entities' had been run for all tables before the new column was added. As expected, all the columns in the table had UPDATE events created for them, except of course the new column.
    As none of the events associated with this table had been used, I ran the 'Cleanup Unused Event for Entities' utility for the table and then re-ran the 'Maintain Default Events For Entities' utility for the table, in order to create an UPDATE event on the new column. This however, was not the case as an UPDATE event was not created for the new column. It appears to have been completely ignored.
    I have checked for the obvious i.e. was the table change applied properly in the repository and had the database been properly re-generated from the server model and everything appears to be correct.
    I have noticed that certain Headstart utilities, 'Enforce CDM Ordering Standard for columns' and 'Set column display length' do pick up the new columns. 'Enforce CDM Ordering Standard For Attributes' however, is another utility that does not pick up the new column.
    Any solutions and explanations for the above would be much appreciated.
    Thank You,
    Aneesha.

    Aneesha,
    In your formulation of the problem, you seem to sometimes be using the terms "table" and "column" when you actually mean "entity" and "attribute". This makes it a bit hard for me to reconstruct your steps. Did you create both a new attribute on the entity, and a new column on the table, and are the two linked together (i.e. if you go to the attribute, is the "Implemented by Columns" node filled correctly?
    Kind regards,
    Peter

  • Plan Table Not Being Created

    When I place the cursor on a statement and press F6, sqldev asks me if I want to create the missing plan table. If choosing YES, nothing happens, no output to the console, no plan table is created. F6-ing again and the same happens again and again.
    After executing ?/rdbms/admin/utlxplan.sql (using the same connection info), it works.
    This is against 9.2.0.4.

    What properties? You didn't show any query or result that shows if the table is compressed or not.

    I have no idea what any of that means.
    Again - you didn't post anything showing if the table is compressed or not. And without the DDL for the source table no one can try to reproduce your results.
    Thanks for using code tags and posting some of the DDL needed but you should edit your post and REMOVE all of the extra partition definitions since all they do is bloat the listing.
    This works for me in vanilla 11.2.0.1.0
    create table EMP_PART parallel

    What properties? You didn't show any query or result that shows if the table is compressed or not.

    I have no idea what any of that means.
    Again - you didn't post anything showing if the table is compressed or not. And without the DDL for the source table no one can try to reproduce your results.
    Thanks for using code tags and posting some of the DDL needed but you should edit your post and REMOVE all of the extra partition definitions since all they do is bloat the listing.
    This works for me in vanilla 11.2.0.1.0
    create table EMP_PART parallel
    COMPRESS FOR OLTP
    partition by range (hiredate)
    INTERVAL (NUMTOYMINTERVAL(1,'MONTH'))
    subpartition by hash (deptno)

  • XPRIMARY Field in TCURC Table Not being updated?

    Hello,
    I am trying to update the XPRIMARY field in table TCURC. The process is followed in Transfer Global Settings --> Currencies. I also tried using Transfer Exchange rates from the context menu on the corresponding source system. We have BI 7.0 installed. The field is availbale and active in both the source system table.

    But does the transfer structure contain the fields as well?
    ie
    RSTCURC looks like this
    MANDT
    WAERS
    ISOCD
    ALTWR
    GDATU
    XPRIMARY

  • Creator  Tomcat MySQL Deployment Table Not being filled by  DB

    Hi All,
    I am deploying a Creator app called test3.war which uses a MySQL db called RemoteFocalPoint.
    When I try to browse to the url : http://65.99.196.145:8080/test3/ The page wont load I have also had the error JasperException: org.apache.tomcat.dbcp.dbcp.SQLNestedException: Cannot create JDBC driver of class '' for connect URL 'null'
    I can get the table to be filled from the RemoteFocalPoint db on a sun pointbase server running locally with the following parameters :
    Data Source Name : RemoteFocalPoint
    User ID : root
    Password ; ****************
    Data base URL jdbc:mysql://65.99.196.145/RemoteFocalPoint
    Driver Class : org.gjt.mm.mysql.Driver
    Validation table : Validation
    I have installed Tomcat Administrator for the production Tomcat (v5.5) environment.
    The settings I have on Tomcat Administrator for http://65.99.196.145:8080/test3/ are
    JNDI Name: jdbc/RemoteFocalPoint
    Data Source URL: jdbc:mysql://localhost/RemoteFocalPoint

    Max. Wait for Connection: 5000
    Validation Query: SELECT ALL VALIDATION.Test FROM VALIDATION
    If anyone could shed any light on this I would be grateful. There is a lot of contradictory information on the web about this issue.

    I think that his has been answered better than I can elsewhere in the forum and
    on the web. It's something that people frequently run into.
    But effectively, I think you need to edit a <project>/web/META-INF/context.xml
    file, adding something like this:
    (replace "oms" with your project name).
    Unfortnately, posting xml just doesn't work for me, but you ought to be able to google
    for context.xml, tomcat, resource and maybe database.
    I believe Dion Almaer has a post in his blog about it.
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

  • Fieldname in not being displayed in the table maintenance

    Hi Experts,
                     I have created a table maintenance for a custom table.The table contains 10 fields out of which first 3 are key fields.
    on the 3rd key field i have supplied F4 help so as to populate the 4th field automatically based on the selection of 3rd field.
    everything is working fine but last 6 'fieldname' is not being displayed on the column bar.instead of fieldname there is '+' sign on the column. And i have checked in layout(screen) also only first four fields being displayed.
    plz help.
    Thanks n Regards,
    Mukesh

    Hello Mukesh,
    As you know, data element or pre-defined data type will be assigned as field type to the fields in a table. If you are assigning the data element, then the data element has the option to give the field label.
    If you are assigning the data element and the field label is empty, then + sign will come. In other case -  if you assigning the pre-defined data type also, the screeen column header will be shown as + sign.
    In both the above cases, you can change the column header manually in the layout.
    Regards,
    Selva K.

  • Table extension not being saved

    Hi,
    I have implemented Table extension at item level for SC and from the config perspective all looks fine.
    1) Created Append struture with required fields
    First step: appending the field to the correct structure in SE11 or via transaction SPRO.
    Structure names for table extensions are according to the pattern:
    INCL_EEW_PD_<x>_CST_<y> with
    <x>: HEADER, ITEM
    2)
    Path in IMG (transaction SPRO):
    SAP SRM -> SRM server ->
    -> Cross-Application Basic Settings
    -> Extensions and Field Control (Personalization)
    -> Create Table Extensions and Supply with Data
    -> Define Customer Table Extensions on Item Level
    Second step: you additionally need to append the new table extension field to the
    corresponding INCL_EEW_PD_<x>_CST structure called u2018cross-documentu2019 structure. This can
    also be done in IMG
    You can explicitly enter the very same field(s) (name and type) into both append structures.
    It is recommended, however, to first create another structure with the new field (in SE11) and
    then include that other structure in both append structures
    (menu path in SE11 screen: -> Edit -> Include -> Insert).
    Default append structure names in this example are
    ZAINCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CST_SC and
    ZAINCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CST
    when using the IMG path..
    3)
    Third step: Set visibility of the table extension.Create an entry with TICUS for item data (THCUS for header data).
    Donu2019t miss to populate the Transaction Type field - you could save the table entry without it,
    but it will not work!
    4)
    Fourth step: Configure Control of Fields of Table Extensions. Create an entry with TICUS for item data (THCUS for header data).Donu2019t miss to populate the Set Level field - you could save the table entry without it, but it will not work!
    Fifth step: Configure Control of Actions
    Sixth (final) step: SM30 - maintain view /SAPSRM/V_MDFSBC_DEFAULT
    I have rechecked the config several times but could not find any reason for the data not to be saved.
    When I add the data to the table structure and if click enter or check button the data disappears. The entries are not captured in BBP_PDICF  table either. i can see the Z structure in se11 for BBP_PDICF.
    I have checked doc_change badi for any issues but could not find the issue. Any idea as where I should check for the data not being saved issue?

    Hello Srinivas,
    Please do this step:
    In SM30-maintain view /SAPSRM/V_MDFSBC_DEFAULT
    Object set type :TICUS
    Structure field name : custom field
    Object type : BUS2121
    set level : item
    Field visible : X
    field enable : X

  • How to handle "The specified resource does not exist" exception while using entity group transactions to purge WADLogs table

    Hi,
    We have a requirement to purge the Azure WADLogs table on a periodic basis. We are achieving this by using Entity group transactions to delete the
    records older than 15 days. The logic is like this.
    bool recordDoesNotExistExceptionOccured = false;
    CloudTable wadLogsTable = tableClient.GetTableReference(WADLogsTableName);
    partitionKey = "0" + DateTime.UtcNow.AddDays(noOfDays).Ticks;
    TableQuery<WadLogsEntity> buildQuery = new TableQuery<WadLogsEntity>().Where(
    TableQuery.GenerateFilterCondition("PartitionKey",
    QueryComparisons.LessThanOrEqual, partitionKey));
    while (!recordDoesNotExistExceptionOccured)
    IEnumerable<WadLogsEntity> result = wadLogsTable.ExecuteQuery(buildQuery).Take(1000);
    //// Batch entity delete.
    if (result != null && result.Count() > 0)
    Dictionary<string, TableBatchOperation> batches = new Dictionary<string, TableBatchOperation>();
    foreach (var entity in result)
    TableOperation tableOperation = TableOperation.Delete(entity);
    if (!batches.ContainsKey(entity.PartitionKey))
    batches.Add(entity.PartitionKey, new TableBatchOperation());
    // A Batch Operation allows a maximum 100 entities in the batch which must share the same PartitionKey.
    if (batches[entity.PartitionKey].Count < 100)
    batches[entity.PartitionKey].Add(tableOperation);
    // Execute batches.
    foreach (var batch in batches.Values)
    try
    await wadLogsTable.ExecuteBatchAsync(batch);
    catch (Exception exception)
    // Log exception here.
    // Set flag.
    if (exception.Message.Contains(ResourceDoesNotExist))
    recordDoesNotExistExceptionOccured = true;
    break;
    else
    break;
    My questions are:
    Is this an efficient way to purge the WADLogs table? If not, what can make this better?
    Is this the correct way to handle the "Specified resource does not exist exception"? If not, how can I make this better?
    Would this logic fail in any particular case?
    How would this approach change if this code is in a worker which has multiple instances deployed?
    I have come up with this code by referencing the solution given
    here by Keith Murray.

    Hi Nikhil,
    Thanks for your posting!
    I tested your and Keith's code on my side, every thing worked fine. And when result is null or "result.count()<0", the While() loop is break. I found you code had some logic to handle the error "ResourceDoesNotExist" .
    It seems that the code worked fine. If you always occurred this error, I suggest you could debug your code and find which line of code throw the exception.
    >> Is this an efficient way to purge the WADLogs table? If not, what can make this better?
    Base on my experience, we could use code (like the above logic code) and using the third party tool to delete the entities manually. In my opinion, I think the code is every efficient, it could be auto-run and save our workload.
     >>Is this the correct way to handle the "Specified resource does not exist exception"? If not, how can I make this better?
    In you code, you used the "recordDoesNotExistExceptionOccured " as a flag to check whether the entity is null. It is a good choice. I had tried to deleted the log table entities, but I used the flag to check the result number.
    For example, I planed the query result count is 100, if the number is lower than 100, I will set the flag as false, and break the while loop.
    >>Would this logic fail in any particular case?
    I think it shouldn't fail. But if the result is "0", your while loop will always run. It will never stop. I think you could add "recordDoesNotExistExceptionOccured
    = true;" into your "else" block.
    >>How would this approach change if this code is in a worker which has multiple instances deployed?
    You don't change anything expect the "else" block. It would work fine on the worker role.
    If any question about this issue, please let me know free.

  • Field not being updated in Master Data table

    Hi guys,
    I'm pulling data from master data in BW... specifically 0ven_compc. I haven't added any new fields to this maser data table, and one field that I'm trying to pull is not being populated. In the master data table this field is blank, but in the PSA there are values. Somehow the values are not being loaded into the master data table. I've checked the transfer rules and communication structure and everything looks fine. Why is this happening?
    Thanks,
    Anthony

    Hi Anthony,
    The problem may be that there is an inconsistency with the target master data infoobject. Please make a dummy change to the target infoobject (i.e you can change the description), save this change and then click on the activate icon. Please then check if the field is filled with the next load.
    If the problem still exists please let us know your BI version and support package level.
    Best Regards,
    Des.

  • Can't Delete Private Cloud - tbl_WLC_PhysicalObject not being updated

    I am having issues with our SCVMM instance where I can't delete Private Clouds...even if there empty.
    When I right click the Private Cloud and click Delete, the "Jobs" panel says it finished successfully, however, the Private Cloud is not deleted.
    After doing some researching, I believe its because entries in the tbl_WLC_PhysicalObject database table are not being updated correctly, when a VM is moved from one Private Cloud to another. After determining the "CloudID" of the Private
    Cloud I am trying to delete, I still see resources assigned to this Private Cloud in the tbl_WLC_PhysicalObject table, even though from VMM Console, the Private Cloud shows up empty.
    For some testing purposes, I assigned a VM back to the Private Cloud I am trying to delete, only to move it out again and gather some tracing/logging. When I moved the VM back out of the Private Cloud, I had a SQL Profiler running in the background, capturing
    the SQL statements on the DB server. Looking at the "exec dbo.prc_WLC_UpdatePhysicalOBject" statement, I see the @CloudID variable is assigned the "CloudID" of the Private Cloud the VM is currently assigned to/the Private Cloud I am trying
    to delete and is NOT the CloudID of the Private Cloud the VM is being moved to/assigned to.
    Instead of having the VMM Console GUI do the Private Cloud assignment/change...I copied the PowerShell commands out...so I can run them manually. Looks like the script gets 4 variables ($VM, $OperatingSystem, $CPUType, and $Cloud), and then runs the "Set-SCVirtualMachine"
    CMDLET. For the $Cloud variable, it does return the proper "CloudID" of the Private Cloud I am trying to move the VM too (I ran it separately and then ran an ECHO $Cloud to look at its value). When I run the "Set-SCVirtualMachine" CMDLET,
    the output has values for "CloudID" and "Cloud" and these are still the values of the source Private Cloud/Private Cloud I am moving the VM out of and ultimately want to delete.
    Has anyone ran into this? Is something not processing right in the "Set-SCVirtualMachine" CMDLET?

    I been slowing looking into this and this is where I am at:
    I built a development SCVMM 2012 R2  instance that mocks our production environment (minus all the VM's...just the networking configuration and all the private clouds have been mocked). From there, I started at SCVMM 2012 R2 GA and one by one installed
    the 4 rollup patches in ordered and at each new patch level,  I monitored the queries coming in through SQL Profiler, as I moved a VM between private clouds and created new VM's within clouds. As I created new VM's and moved the VM's between clouds. the
    stored procedure "prc_WLC_UpdatePhysicalOBject" all have a value of NULL for the CloudID column....so a CloudID isnt even associated to the physical objects (basically the VHDX files and any mounted ISO's I have on the VM's).
    I did find out this SCVMM instance was upgraded from SCVMM 2008 (I took over after the 2012 R2 upgrade was completed).
    I am thinking at this point...nothing is wrong with SCVMM 2012 R2 if you build and recreate it from scratch and a new DB. I am thinking this might be a depreciated field from SCVMM 2008. The only other thing we did, was put in a SAN and moved VM's from stand-alone
    hosts to the new CSV's (A mixture of 2008 R2 and 2012 NON R2 hosts).
    At this point...since we dont have Self-Service enabled yet....it will be a days work to rebuild a new instance of SCVMM 2012 R2 and migrate the hosts/VM's to it and start from a clean slate.
    I know the DB structure isnt really published...but does anybody have any other insights into this?

  • When I plug in my iPhone to sync, it starts but does not complete the process and several pieces of data are not being transferred to my iPhone from my MacBook Air.

    Problem:
    When I plug in my iPhone to sync, it starts but does not complete the process and several pieces of data are not being transferred to my iPhone from my MacBook Air.
    Any help that you can provide in helping my iPhone accurately sync with iPhoto and iTunes will be greatly appreciated.
    Symptoms:
    1)   Sync:  It’s not completing the sync.  Below, I’ve provided all of my settings from the iTunes Summary tab so that you might tell me if I’ve selected any incorrect options.  I prefer to sync the “old school” way – by connecting to the computer – as opposed to syncing over the cloud. Perhaps this is what’s causing the problem? Here is a list of the steps displayed in the iTunes window as the sync progresses:
    waiting for sync to start (step 1 of 7)
    backing up (step 2 of 7)
    preparing to sync (step 3 of 7)
    determining apps to sync (step 4 of 7)
    preparing apps to sync (step 5 of 7)
    importing photos (step 6 of 7)
    waiting for changes to be applied (step 7 of 7)
    syncing apps / copying 1 of 4 (App name) (step 7 of 7)
    canceling sync
    apple icon
    2)   Photos: I've selected only certain of my iPhoto albums to sync to my iPhone.  All of the albums are correct/complete in iPhoto.  All of the albums are listed on my iPhone, both before and after the sync, but the albums are empty (no actual photos) before and after the sync. Perhaps this is tied to the fact that the sync isn’t completing, but because “importing photos” is one of the steps that the incomplete sync displays, I don’t know.
    3)   Apps: When I launch iTunes and click on the Apps folder under the Library listing, then click on the Updates tab, iTunes searches for any Apps needing to be updated and provides a list.  If I click on Update All, the Apps are successfully updated in iTunes.  But, when I plug in my iPhone so that the updates will transfer to the apps on my iPhone, the updates don’t transfer to the apps on my iPhone and those apps still reflect that they need updating on the iPhone.
    Other Potential Pertinent Info:
    The flash memory hard drive on my MacBook Air recently died (perhaps a month or two ago).  Apple had emailed me about a known issue and literally the next day, my MacBook Air crashed.  I installed a new flash memory drive and re-installed everything from a backup off of an external hard drive.  Everything seems to be working fine; it recreated accurately all of my software and data, including iPhoto and iTunes, the pictures and songs (respectively) for which are stored on that hard drive, as opposed to being on the flash memory in the MacBook Air itself.  However, I don’t recall if the start of the sync problem described herein started happening at the same time that I replaced the flash memory drive.  All I know is that the computer is working perfectly in all respects and that even as the sync is failing, it at least says that it’s doing the right things and looking in the right places (e.g., the list of albums on my iPhone matches the list of albums in iTunes, etc.).
    Settings/Status:
    MacBook Air
    OSX v. 10.9
    iPhoto ’11 v. 9.5 (902.7)
    iPhone iOS 7.0.4
    iTunes v. 11.1.3 (8)
    Summary Tab
    Backups (This Computer)
    Options
    Automatically sync when this iPhone is connected
    Sync only checked songs and videos
    Photos Tab
    Sync Photos from iPhoto (429 Photos)
    Selected albums, Events, and Faces, and automatically include (no Events)
    Albums – 9 are selected

    You need to download iTunes on your computer. iOS 6 requires the latest version of iTunes which is 10.7.
