Want to delete the first Menu
Hi, I added a movie with chapters into an iDVD project, but this one gives me two options, "Play the movie", and "Play the movie and Scene Selections".
I want the Scene Selections to be in the first menu, I don't want to go to two menus to play the movie, How can I get rid off the first menu.

One way would be to author the DVD using apple's Final Cut Studio 2 / DVDSP as opposed to iDVD. Frankly, all of my own iDvd's have a play movie button. So I'm not 100% sure if this is even possible within iDVD since this app makes some very basic assumptions (as a consumer app) regarding buttons and menus, as in you either have a menu, or you don't. If you do not have a main menu, then it's a bit difficult to proceed to a scene selection menu thereafter.
Not the case with DVDSP, where all one needs to do is select the main menu and hit the delete key.

You can use function module CRM_MESSAGES_DELETE.
First of all you'll need to pass an internal table to IT_R_MSGID or IT_R_MSGIDNO with a structure like for example:
ls_msgidno-msgid = 'CRM_COMPLAINT'.
ls_msgidno-msgno = '002'.
ls_msgidno-low = lv_some_input
Then you can call the FM as follows:
CALL FUNCTION 'CRM_MESSAGES_DELETE'
EXPORTING
it_r_msgidno = [your internal table]
iv_ref_object = [your object, for example an order guid]
iv_ref_kind = gc_object_kind-orderadm_h => for a bus. trans. this will be 'A',

how do i see what photos are stored in my icloud. I cannot do this without installing 8.0 or above which i cannot do as i do not have enough space on my iphone. I do not want to delete the pics to make enough room to install 8.0 without checking first that the pics are saved. Thanks

One resolution to your issue would be to update your iPhone using iTunes on your computer rather than over the air. This requires much less space on the iPhone as most of the work is done by the computer. See this article for how to do it -

I am trying to delete duplicate songs in my library, when I go to edit to delete it, it asks me if I want to delete the playlist!
Apple's official advice on duplicates is here... HT2905: How to find and remove duplicate items in your iTunes library. It is a manual process and the article fails to explain some of the potential pitfalls such as lost ratings and playlist membership.
Use Shift > View > Show Exact Duplicate Items to display duplicates as this is normally a more useful selection. You need to manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sorting the list by Date Added may make it easier to select the appropriate tracks, however this works best when performed immediately after the dupes have been created. If you have multiple entries in iTunes connected to the same file on the hard drive then don't send to the recycle bin.
Use my DeDuper script if you're not sure, don't want to do it by hand, or want to preserve ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See this thread for background, this post for detailed instructions, and please take note of the warning
to backup your library before deduping.
(If you don't see the menu bar press ALT to show it temporarily or CTRL+B to keep it displayed.)
The most recent version of the script can tidy dead links as long as there is at least one live duplicate to merge stats and playlist membership to and should cope sensibly when the same file has been added via multiple paths.

Firefox deletes the first 2-6 characters typed into the URL box. Why?
Firefox deletes the first couple characters in the URL address box when I type fast.
Example. I want to go to '''mozilla.com'''
When I start to type, I'll see '''mozi''', but then it suddenly disappears and I finish with '''lla.com'''. I instinctively press enter and end up having to re-enter the address ''slowly'' which is a major pain in the rear.A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

No, your iTunes account is completely separate and does not need to be the same as the ID you use for iCloud (or other services).
To create a new account and migrate your data to the new account, first save any photo stream photos that you want to keep that aren't already backed up by opening your my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap all the photos you want to save, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll. Also save any iWork documents you may be syncing with iCloud.
Then go to Settings>iCloud and tap Delete Account, and when prompted, choose Keep on My [iDevice]. Then sign in with a different Apple ID (if you don't have one, tap Get a Free Apple ID at the bottom, which will require a separate non-Apple email that must be verified). Next, turn you iCloud data syncing back to On, and when prompted, choose Merge to upload your data to the new account. When you turn Mail to On, you will be prompted to choose your @icloud.com email address, which must be different than your old one.
Note: you can only create a limited number of iCloud accounts on a single iOS device, so you can only do this a limited number of times. (While this number isn't documented, I believe it's three.) -
I have accounts one computer#1. I have purchased computer #2. Installed and migrated accounts to #2. Now I want to delete the duplicate account on #1. I still use Thunderbird on #1
Select the unwanted account in the left-hand Folder Pane. Right-click it, select "Settings".
The Account Settings pane will appear, with the chosen account highlighted. At the bottom of the pane is a button labelled Account Actions, which when clicked will reveal an option to Remove Account. You can select and remove as many accounts as you wish, but note that you won't be permitted to remove the default account. You'll first need to make one of them or create a default account. -

And It is not giving any option to click anywhere. I can't close or quit iphoto. PLEASE HELP!!That does not look like an iPhoto command, much more like a Finder one.
Use the Force Quit command. It's under the Apple Menu. -
If I want to delete the photo library from my iPhone, how do I make sure I dont delete them from my desktop as well?
If you have copied them to your computer, then you will be OK. Just deselect the photos when you sync.

I have 2 ipads and my iphone on the same icloud account and it wont let me back it up cause I dont have enough space. So I want to move my iphone over to a new icloud account with my new apple id that i made but i dont want to delete the ipads off the old account just move the iphone to the new one. To migrate your phone to a new account, start by saving any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll. If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep on the phone, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; your other devices won't be effected by this), provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone (if using iOS 7) and choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted . Then sign back in with your new Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload your data to the new account.

I recently changed my apple ID but the old on is still on my iCloud account. The old address is dimmed on iCloud on my iPad so I can't change it. How do I change to the new address? I don't want to delete the account as I don't want to lose the pictures
To change it, you have delete the existing account. However you can avoid losing any pictures in the process. To avoid losing photo stream photos, save them to your camera roll (if not already there) before deleting the account. To do this, open your my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll. (Camera roll photos are not effected by deleting the account.)
Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the new ID. This deletes the account and your iCloud data from your device, but not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account, your iCloud data will reappear on your device when you sign back in. -

You aren't going to be able to delete it without the correct password. If it's your ID, you can reset the password as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5625. If it isn't your ID, you will have to get the password for the person who owns the ID. There's no way around this and no one else can help.
