Want to know the PANTONE color of at a certain pixel of the image

I am designing a software that will get the pantone color of certain location of the image . I will define a certain pixel location of the image , then I want the software to detect the equivalent pantone color .
NB> the image is obtained from a scanner .

Thank you so much for you interest , I really appreciate it so much .
Regarding the Pantone color table ( conversion between Pantone and RGB system ) , I have that table in *.mdb (MicroSoft Access Database) that have each Pantone color and the corresponding RGB , CMY and HEX values .
The problem is : HOW to make such comparisons to get the corresponding Pantone . To make the situation easier to you , I have a certain color that is supposed to be a certain Pantone C137 . I want to check if it is Pantone C137 or not . I need this to be done by getting the CORRLEATION between two colors , ie the test color is 100 % of Pantone C137 , ie Iam 100% certain that the test color is the Pantone color . In the real world , the test color may not be the same as Pantone C137 , if it is very close to the reference color , it the correlation will be 99.85 % , and so on . I will make my software make a tolerance for the test color , ie my tolerance is 2 % . ie , I will only accept colors that are 2 % different from the reference color . NB> I can get the reference color (eg in this case Pantone C137) by scanning this pantone and storing the color in the software .
if you can supply me with a simple code that can compare 2 colors together and get the correlation between them , it will be so helpfull .

You would go to the color picker, select Color Libraries, then from the drop down list,select which Pantone library you prefer. If you already know the Pantone number you want (555 for example), enter 555 from your keybord quickly and it will go to the Pantone swatch you want.
Click OK and it's your foreground color. Tap x and it will be the background color swatch.

You can buy an unlocked iPhone at any of the 5 Apple stores in NYC. All are open on Sunday. Note a couple of things, however:
US iPhone 5's will work on 3G in the rest of the world, but not on LTE because the US phones use different channels than other countries
Be sure you say "unlocked", not "no contract"
If it breaks it must be returned to a US store for repair, and if shipped to Apple it must be from and to a US address

If i have it use the calibrated profile by changing the color management settings, the color picker no longer shows true white or black. How do I get elements 12 to honor the new calibrated settings?

Ok so I've done what you said and this is what it's come back ....
I don't know that these are the errors , but they're the things which don't look right ...
Throughout the shut down there is a recurring line ;
It says ;

Then there are 2 more which I think are related ;

You don't need iTunes Match to have your music in all your devices. iTunes Match is for getting music that you've purchased elsewhere into the cloud. All you need to do is set up each of your devices to your iTunes Store account. You can then download things you've purchased by going to the Purchased section. See:

HT201412 My Ipad quit working - it's 2 years old. I called Apple and they basically told me that it's done. I can pay 249.00 to get a reburbished Ipad 1, or buy a new one. I want to know why it died? They mentione it could be the hard drive.

My Ipad 1 quit working after 2 years. Was never dropped, abused, etc. Just quit the other night. Went to the Apple store, called the support line and they tell me that since the warranty is up I can pay 249.00 for a refurbished Ipad or buy a new one. Not happy at all. I want to know why it quit. The person I talked to at Support says he doesn't know what happened. He says it sounds like my hard drive crashed. ANyone else have this problem? I am so mad.

If the tech you talked to said anything about a "hard drive", he was completely ignorant or misspeaking rather badly. The iPads have no hard drive; the storage is all solid state. You may wish to talk to another technician, or make an appointment at an Apple Store if there's one near you, and confirm the diagnosis of a hardware failure.
If you've confirmed that it is indeed a hardware failure, then you can pay the replacement price, find an independent iPad service shop and see if they can do a repair for less, or buy a new iPad. If it were me I would put the money toward a new, or at least newer, iPad rather than pay the replacement charge. You can get some good deals on refurbished iPad 2 and third-generation iPads from the Apple Store, any of which will run the most current versions of iOS, something which the first-gen iPad will not, and would come with a full warranty (which could be extended to two years with AppleCare).
As to why your iPad failed, it's impossible to say with any certainty. The circuitry could have had a tiny flaw that finally failed, or the iPad could have received a static shock, something quite common in many areas in the winter when the air is dry. Sorry it happend to you, but anything can fail.

Well you first download the latest version of iTunes, after installing it restart the computer once and then try opening it!

Basically anything purchased "in app" is handled through your iTunes account.

I am switching from a pc to mac and want to know how I go about transferring files from one to the other. There is a chance that I will have to hand my pc back before I receive my MacBook so I will need to transfer on to some sort of external hard drive.

I am switching from an acer laptop to a MacBook Pro. I may have to hand in my laptop before I receive my new MacBook. What is the best way to back up my files so that I can transfer them to my MacBook. I cloud cannot be installed on my laptop because it uses a version of windows that is older and doesn't support it. Hope someone can help.

Connect a blank powered external drive to the PC.
Right click on the Disk in the File manager and choose format: exFAT
(if it's a XP machine, first install exFAT from Microsoft and reboot)
navigate to your user account folders on the PC and drag and drop copy (or copy and paste) to the external drive.
(if a program has your files, then export them out first)
Hook up the drive to the Mac, and transfer files to the desktop or to their same appropritate folders.
Import photo's into iPhoto program, import music into iTunes etc and they will manage those files.
You can continue to use the external exFAT drive between Mac's and PC's
Do not format the drive NTFS or FAT, NTFS can't be written too by the Mac and FAT can't hold over 4GB sized files.
If you format exFAT on the Mac, it likely won't work correctly on the PC.
"Migration" type programs are a utter waste of time and effort between PC's and Mac's for the fact that only certain files (and no programs or anything else) will work between them, also it's a hassle and takes too long. So don't even bother with it.
