Want to send Response !!!!!!

hello,
i have created a url in SAP, i'll b giving this url to 3rd party ( Vendor),he calls our url and pass certain parameters back.
now my issue is , on recieving those parameters i have to send him response ( Success/Failure).
how do i achieve this??
pls help !!!

hi,
when v call any API from ECC, v get the response (values) which means either success or failure.
(Respone is different from return code).
it is the value present on that particular IE page.
now, exzctly , like this if some other party ( say, our vendor) calls our SAP API, he should get the response code ( which v will send , according 2 success or failure).
how 2 send tht?
1 thing which i thought ( not tried yet)
create a web page which will contain the response(only).
publish tht page on ITS.
n snd tht page as a response 2 the vendor as soon as he fires our API.
any help will be highly appreciable!!!!

Im getting message from source system (MQ) for which I need to validate the header details and mandatory field information in XI, if success then send to SAP system through proxy otherwise send the response back to MQ system with batch number or some mandatory fields missing information.
Client not agrees to send this information through alert want to send response to MQ system only.

See you can use two target messages , in mapping , handle the condition and route the message , in determination use interface mapping.

I want to send a response from the servlet and then call another servlet. can this happen. Here is my scenario.
1. Capture all the information from a form including an Email address and submit it to a servlet.
2. Now send a message to the browser that the request will be processed and mailed.
3. Now execute the request and give a mail to the mentioned Email.
Can this be done in any way even by calling another servlet from within a servlet or any other way.
Can any one Please help me out.

Sending response back to RFC in UDF

Hi All,
I have a Sync scenario from RFC to SOAP. I want to check the line items in RFC request. If there are no line items , then i want to stop the scenario and use UDF to send the constant (Invalid line items based on validations) back to RFC responce by using RFC lookup.
Is it possible to send response back to RFC in UDF?
Please suggest me, i want to handle exceptions without BPM.

but maybe you can do the check in the RFC much faster instead os checking
this in XI ?

In the XI I have to validate the input request message using a schema. For this I am writing a java mapping program using aii_map_api.jar.
My requirement is that If the input message schema validation fails then I want to send a response message back to sender.
How can I send a response message back to the sender in java mapping program?
Kindly help with sample code example.

Hi,
First, I think PI 7.1 has this functionality and perhaps it comes in a SP for PI 7.0 and XI 3.0. So first have a look at that before creating custom development.
Second, if you use the java mapping, you will only have access to a request or response message. I would advise using a custom java module in the module processor and insert this message in the sender communication channel. This will allow you to validate request and send a response.

Sending response to another BPEL from ESB

I am passing request from esb to bpel and getting the response from bpel that i want to send to another bpel through esb.
Everthing is working fine(not showing any error) but the response is not going to second bpel through.

Now response going from first bpel to second bpel through esb
i am calling esb from first bpel and i am using same schema in both the esb and first bpel.

Sending response to MQ

My problem scenario is that, I am getting messages from a particular queue say Q1 and after processing it I want to put the message to a response queue say Q2, but I don't want to to hard code the name of response Q MQ Transport settings instead i want to send the response by populating the
./ctx:transport/ctx:request/tp:headers/mq:ReplyToQueueName
variable is it possible??if yes then please help me with the steps.

Note: If the replyToQueueName and replyToQueueManagerName MQMD headers are not set on the incoming request, this response URI is used as the default >response destination. However, if a response URI is set in the headers, ALSB connects to the queue manager specified in replyToQueueManagerName and sends the >response to the response queue specified in replyToQueueName.Hope this helps.

Iam sending the IDOC from R/3 and want to hold the Response message from SOAP like "Success or Fail".
I want to the response message in XI itself, no need to reach the response even to R/3.

IDOC: Import it as Imported Object -->When you define the namespace of swc in IR select you can import Idocs and RFC option and complete the textbox with correct information

Create a SWC type B_ in SLD and define it as dependence of A_. later import it into IR. there define the Data Type and Message Type for genericResponse.

i have a file-xi-jdbc scenario.... after writing to database i want the JDBC response also...means no. of records updated/inserted/deleted etc.....means no. of rows returned
what can i do....
1. can i do it with a send step using asynchronous interface.
2. can i do it with send step using Synchronous Message Interface to the database.

Interconnect HTTP Adapter Send / Response

Hi,
I'm setting up an Interconnect HTTP adapter to send XML data to an outside partner. Based upon my XML I get a response XML file from that partner. The XML I'm sending is a list of requests. The response XML is either a list of verifications and/or errors. I really need that response. I'd like to take that response and put it back on the Hub queue to be handled in our system.
From what I see in the log the send is successful. The response XML from the partner is printed correctly in the log.
I looked at the documentation for the http.reqreply mode. However, that appears to be used only for a receiver to send a reply back to a sender. I really want the opposite - I want my sender to send back the response.
This is my first time using the HTTP adapter. I readily admit I may be missing something.
I appreciate any help!

First if you were talking to a Uverse rep about transferring ownership of account and then inquired about phone service the only thing that could be offered would be Uverse VoIP. Calling 1-800-288-2020 is also calling the Uverse division of AT&T, again VoIP. POTS is not Uverse, a separate department with a separate bill, and no bundle discount for combined services. The install would be handled by the outside lineman, not a Uverse tech. If chose the self install the lineman would get dial tone to the NID, you would be responsible for wiring NID to house wiring as Uverse Max Plus 18 or Max Turbo 24 should be a dedicated home run from NID to RG not touching the house wiring. A full tech install would be billable as is a tech assist service call to connect wiring. Lastly AT&T as stated desire to be all IP by 2020, expect POTS and DSL CO based products to be discontinued in near future. Therefore you may have a better chance at a POTS line by going 3rd party provider. And yes if VOIP is active expect to pay for service till such time as CANCEL VOIP service or number is transferred. These are my thoughts and do not represent any official response.

IPhone wants to send text as MMS

I want to simply send a text message to somebody, by creating a new message in Messages, and choosing the recipient from the contacts. However, when trying to send the message my phone says "MMS Messaging needs to be enabled to send to an email address." I never ever want to send an MMS (which is why MMS is disabled), and I do not want to send the message to an email address. When choosing the recipient from the contacts, the phone does not ask me whether I want to send it to the contact's phone number or email address. Why does it assume that I want to send it to an email address?
(On the flipside, if I access the contact through the Phone or Contacts app, and tap "Send Message," the phone provides me with a list of mobile numbers and email addresses, as it should.)
Here are my steps:
Open Messages.
Tap the new message button in the top-right corner.
Tap the Plus icon in the "To" field.
"Choose a contact to text message"
Compose message.
Tap "Send."
It's really inconvenient composing a text message and hitting Send, only to be reminded that the phone cannot send the text message this way.
Any ideas?

and don't forget to disable MTOM/XOP support for proxy and business service.
You don't need anything but a base64binary element in your request or response message. That's all. When you turn MTOM/XOP support off, binary data will be inlined.
If you will still face an issue, try to send your WSDL, describe input, output and your proxy flow.
