Warnings over the calculate members in BPC 7.5 NW sending data

Hello,
We get warnings over the calculate members on input schedules when we send data to the data base.
The input schedules were built in the BPC NW 7.0 and afterwards we migrated to the BPC NW 7.5 version.
In case we build a new input shcedule from the scracht(in NW 7.5), sending data works fine without warnings over the calculate members.
Is there any missed produre after the migration from 7.0 to 7.5 SAP BPC NW we have to apply to solve this issue?
Or we should rebuild all the dinamyc templates after the migration process?
Thanks,

Hi,
Thank you for responding but we had already reviewed CALC property in calculated and base members and those are correctly.
The problem is that when we were in the 7.0 version, the load process of the data was right, but after the migration to the BPC 7.5 version, we tried the process data using the templates made in the version BPC 7.0 and it seems like the application takes wrong the CALC property.
If we want to send only one register to the database, it takes that register and all his parents whose have to be automatically calculated by the application.
Thank you.

  • Bpc 7.5 - not sending data on a specific application

Hi I use SAP BPC 7.5 SP7 patch 1 with Microsoft Sql Server 2008.
    I moved my AppSet from a server 32bit to a server 64bit.
On 32bit server everything works fine.
On 64bit server (64bit configurations written in BPC installation guide applied + no error in Server Manager > DIagnostic): I can't send data on a specific application I have.
On 64bit server: I precessed all dimensions and all applications and then I even optimize. Nothing change.
    I have to applications: A and B.
On Application A I can send data correctly.
On application B in my Input schedules when I send data: everything seems to work fine but afer data refresh on my sheet the value disappear and nothing is written into FactWB table. No error displayed.
Those input scheules are the same I have and working on 32 bit server.
No errors into Windows event viewer so... what can I check or do more? How can I fix it?

  • How to calculate age based on current month and over the next 12 months in Webi 4.1

    Hi,
I am working on a report where I need to show employees who turned 65 from the time the report is run to over the next 12 months.I have the 'Date of Birth' field available. I am using Bex Query as a data source and webi 4.1. How do I calculate this in Webi 4.1. I appreciate any help.
    Thank you,
    Charvi.

    Hi Charvi,
Get the all employees who are all in 64 age bucket till yesterday.  Keep indicator for these employees.
Then obviously these employees will be falling in 65 age in coming 12 months/365 days.
Same you can get at Bex level also. Create formulae :
    if employee age = 64 then 1 else 0.
    (AGE = 64 * 1 + 0)
Then create condition on this formulae as Value = 1.
    Revert back your feedback.

  • Unable to Manage Add-ons to My Account over the In...

On 27th Oct I signed up for a telephone and broadband service in a shopping arcade.
On 29th, I got a letter from BT detailing the order. The add-ons I expected were missing. I was particularly worried that I was Ex Directory and I did not want to lose my existing entry - the directory staff might close off at any time, leaving me unlisted for a whole year.
The letter told me I had an e-mail address and password, and I should check for e-mails regularly. During November I tried to access it but couldn't. I looked at BT sites and there were promises that I could amend my details over the internet.
     - "Welcome to My BT
     - My BT has everything you need online - you can view and download your bills 24/7, manage all your services, track your orders, get the latest offers and help - and much more"
I could not get this to work either.
Nearly 30 different explanations/advice I got for why I had no e-mail and couldn't change Add-ons over the internet are listed below.
     (1) 0800 111 4567: E-mail is not working because the line is not yet connected.
I asked for technical support since this seemed to conflict with the letter.
     (2) Security locked - give it 5-10 min.
I tried for 80 min. On dialling the same number
() explanation 1 again, and I asked to speak to a supervisor.
     (3) Super said wait until Broadband is connected.
BT.custhelp let me send a complaint (I would rather have called it a problem at this stage). I also e-mailed a copy to the salesman.
The salesman asked me to explain what I had, in fact, patiently and carefully put in the e-mail.
     (4) He said he would call BT and cancel the order. I told him I thought his brinksmanship was a poor show.
(1 again) He said to wait until the line was connected and it would be easy to sort out.
     (5) Eventually he insisted on handling the Directory Entry: I also wanted a slight change to the entry so that it said {Surname} {Wife's initial} and {My initial}. It took three attempts to get him to understand this, possibly because he was in the noisy arcade. This is why I prefer to do things on-line or by post.
    (6) E-mail in reply to the "complaint": wait until connected. The originator said that he was to send a helpful e-mail within 24 hours. Call closed. I had 7 days to re-open it (what if on holiday?) The e-mail never arrived.
I re-opened. A... in Belfast 'phoned me - she was enthusiastic about helping me.
     (7) Unfortunately, she had already gone into my account and changed me to paperless billing. This is not one of the things I wanted - another reason to want to do my own amending on-line. She volunteered to change this so I will get both paper and on-line bills.
(6 again) She will send me a helpful e-mail with a link, and she persuaded me that the call could be closed. I am not sure I ever got that e-mail.
     (8) A... 'phoned again to give me a number to call about the directory entry: I thought she had arranged something and the number she gave me would connect me with someone who would know.
The engineer arrived, connected me to BT and transfered the number. He was efficient and helpful. (But he knew nothing about BT e-mail etc.)
The 'phone line worked well and the Broadband was faster than my previous service.
    I got to access my Btinternet.com e-mailbox.
I could not access BT.com/youraccount to change my Add-ons because
     (9) The system claimed I had chosen the security question "Mother's Maiden Name" from a list given to me. I had not chosen this. A... had asked me that question in order to set it up but when I did not reply immediately, she gave me a choice and let me set up a different question.
Later, I accessed this web page again and instead of asking me for Mothers Maiden Name, it asked me to set up the security question and gave me the options.
I tried to get in to update my Add-ons or my Account.
    (10) "We are sorry. Our records show ... Outstanding order on this line ... to discuss ... helpful advisor on 0800 731 0286 8 am to 10 pm Mon to Sat".
    (11) I 'phoned this. A2 said this was Directory Entry business, but it would clear at midnight.
(10 again) The following day, same message on BT.com.
I remembered A...'s words and 'phoned the number she had given regarding my Directory entry.
It was a general number for Directory things and when I got through the "Press 1 for ..." maze, the Advisor seemed to have no record of my problem.
    (12) She said that I did have a Directory Entry, so either the original threat in the letter to make me Ex- has not (yet) been processed or the salesman came through.
    (13) With regard to the listing, I explained what I want, but what she said in her thick accent gave me mixed feelings about if I will get it.
    (14) 0800 713 0286 again. Advisor said there was no outstanding order. I should be able to get on now. I tried BT.com again
    (15) "We are sorry ... we have noticed you already have one of our great package deals. Please call one of our helpful advisors on 0800 800 150 who will advise you on how to change your package."
I tried again. This time, I get
    (16) "We are sorry we are unable to show you what your calling plan and add ons are. You may still change them on line - simply click the Change your Calling Plan link. Or contact a customer advisor on 0800 800 150 from 8am to 10 pm Monday to Saturday." I clicked 'Change your Calling Plan'.
The next screen showed a radio control against my Account number and phone number and another to allow me to enter an alternative number and my postcode. I clicked the control against my existing details and ticked a check box to confirm me as the account holder. A screen told me that my 'phone line was being checked. The next screen was a repeat of the message about already having a package deal.
I called 0800 800 150. I had a lot of trouble working out an appropriate key to press in response to the automated message and I got told
    (17) "We do not have an order for you", but I got some more options. Remember that it says on the internet that I can call from 8am to 10pm. Ut was only 9:15.
    (18) After going through all the rigmarole, I was told that Advisors are available 8am to 9pm.
(An e-mail to my BT.com preferred address told me I could now look at my bill online. I followed the link. The web page had no bill on it and none of its four links got me access.)
    I called 0800 800 150 again.
    (19) The advisor did not know anything about the internet - I should contact BT Shop on 0800 917 0510 where someone would talk me through it. Unfortunately, they were now closed for the weekend.
    (20) He continually pushed for me to do my Add-ons over the 'phone - yet he had obviously not listened to what I had said since he wanted to fix the wrong things for me.
I received a letter confirming signing up for online billing.
An e-mail on Btinternet.com thanked me for signing up to BT.com.
    (21) I was to click a link in it to finish the procedure. I did this.
Immediately I was set up for On-line Billing only. No advance warning. No confirmation screen. It seems incredibly easy to update my details over the internet to what BT want them to be, but, once again, it was impossible for me to get in and update them to what I wanted.
    (22) Logging out I got "We are sorry, but there has been a problem/ Your order can not be fulfilled".
    (23) The letter mentioned screen option "Profile". There was one called "Your Profile". I had not tried this before. It sent me off to a screen about BT OneID. A red herring.
    (24) I called BT Shop. Internet was nothing to do with them.
I called 0800 800 150 again. The Advisor said she would also have recommended BT Shop.
I called 0800 800 150 again. A transfer, I forget where. No sooner had I got through than I was cut off by a dialling tone.
Dialled 100. After a strange procedure, I was through to an Accounts Advisor.
After another little adventure, he put me through to what I thought he said was the Accounts Department.
    (25) The lady said that Call Centres know nothing about the internet, and that I will never be able to use it to access my details since I will only be able to speak to Call Centres. She said she was in the Cancellation Department.
    (26) This probably meant that the previous Advisor had thought that my only hope was to cancel my entire service and get a new one.
    She transfered me to Billing.
    (27) S... checked my details and said that I did not have Paperless Billing set up(!), nor Direct Debit. I think also redit/Debit Card details that I had seen on one of the internet pages. She assured me that if I put these in I would be able to amend my Add-ons (I could change/delete these afterwards if I wanted).
Setting up the Direct Debit was complicated by one screen saying that I could change to a Regular Payment or Direct Debit, and the next only mentioning Regular Payment: in trepidation I opted for the Regular Payment, and the screen after that allowed me to set up the Direct Debit.
Having set up all the options suggested, I waited to be able to change my details. And waited.
It was at this point that I searched the internet for "We have noticed you already have one of our great package deals." It came up with BT Community Forum, and that the visitors all say how helpful the Moderator is. Here goes.

    Hi Jim-in-Hemel,
Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear of the problems you're having with your order.
If you could send in your forum username and BT account details to the email address registered against my profile I'll see what we can do to help.

I've been onto the phone to the helpline, (which was a mission, seeing as I had already tried using the master socket, changing filters etc) yet trying to explain I had already done that was mission impossible!
First time I called, they said wait 4 hours, as they were doing somthing to the line then over the next 7-10 days my speed would go up/down similiar to what it does when your first join.
After about 8/9 hours I tried loading a webpage and the speed was actually slightly worse! I called again, as the first person made out that my internet would be useable again that night. Second person I spoke to said that it was a problem affecting my whole dialing code! Which is a lie, as my neighbours BT Broadband seems to be fine!
They have said that it could take 10 days to settle down, however it's still just as dire, will it actually improve or does somthing else need to be done by BT?
It would be great if BT could deliver a basic broadband service to ALL it's customers before rolling out ever better improvements!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

do you have phone extension sockets in your home?  if so you should connect to test socket if possible as this will eliminate any noise problems caused by your internal wiring.  you need to leave it connected 24/7 with no resets
with an attenuation of 41 and a good line you should get 5/6mb

  • Averaging over the last hour and last eight hours.

This is fairly simple but I'm not sure what a "good" approach is. Basically I need to track how many times a user has performed an action over the last hour and last eight hours. I'll receive a notification of some sort when they perform this action and could get the current time, but I'm not sure what a fast way of determining how many times this has occurred in a given time period is.
I was thinking perhaps an array with the time of each in milliseconds and just find the first index that was < 8 hours or < 1 hour ago and then subtract the index from the current size. I think that would be problematic though. To keep the array from continuously growing I'd have to shift everything over to the left which means an expensive arraycopy. Perhaps if I only did the resizing when there were > 20 or elements I no longer care about or something would help, but then I'd have to iterate over 20 elements I don't care about everytime it's calculated, which is once a second.
Any algorithms that will solve this?

Here is a method with a granularity of a minute (i.e.
it only updates the average value every minute - you
can change it to give whatever granularity you want)
Keep an array with 60 elements in it. The array
counts the number of times that the user performed
    the action each minute.
The array in indexed modulo real time, and you make
entries based on actual time of day. So when a user
performs an action at 8:38:45 you increment slot 38.
Each slot counts the number of actions that took
place in that particular minute. When the next minute
rolls around, you move to the next slot, set the
value to zero (thus throwing out the events that
happened over an hour ago, and prepare to count the
    new events)
The sum of the entire array is of course the total
number of events that have taken place in the last
    hour.
You do not need to actually run through the array and
total the events every time you want to calculate the
average. You can use the fact that you increase the
total by one every time you get a new event and you
decrease the total by X everytime you zero out a slot
that had X for its event count.
So you can just keep a single value, Total, along
with your array that goes up by one on every event
and then drops back a little every minute, when you
throw out the hour old events. That is probably a good solution to the question I posed, but I realize now I was not thorough or accurate enough in describing the context and requirements. I don't think that will work without a lot of unnecessary memory, but maybe I'm wrong.
The user action is actually the successful completion of entering a form, a bill to be more precise. I expect this to happen 100-300 times an hour to give an idea of the frequency. Given a period of time, if they've been at it for that period of time or longer I need to find the number of bills completed in that most recent period of time. Otherwise, I need to use what is available to predict what they will reach in that period of time. In other words, if the time period is an hour I need to figure out how many bills were completed in the last hour, but if they've been going for only five minutes I need to predict what they will have completed in an hour including those last five minutes. Then I need to do the same thing for seven hours, using the last seven hours or less of data.
I guess I'd just have to use a granularity of a minute or less and calculate how many bills over how many minutes and make a prediction on that? I suppose I was hoping for something more precise, but now that I think about it that will probably suffice.
How would you implement it though? Create a "minute" array of size 60 initially, then when reaching the end of that array adding the total for that array to an "hourly" array (keeps track of bills in that hour) and then start over? I guess then you'd just have to add each from the hourly array to the current total and calculate based upon that. At any given time I'd have the number of bills processed in the last x hours and y minutes, which is enough to calculate how much can be completed at that rate in a given hour or seven hour day.
I'll try this tomorrow when I get to work, thank you very much I was needlessly complicating it with timestamps. In fact, this inadvertently (or perhaps purposefully?) solves an issue with not calculating time when a user is at lunch or on break. At least I think it does.

  • Activating audit for Dimension Members in BPC 7.5 NW

    Hi,
Is it possible to activate dimension member audit in BPC 7.5 NW. Meaning, can we trace changes to master data (dimension members) in BPC 7.5 NW?
    Best regard
    SSC

    Hi,
The Activity Auditing tracks Administrative and User tasks at the Appset level.
This will be controlled by the Administrators to check whether activity auditing is enabled or not.
To enable this future go to -> Administration for the Web, choose Manage Activity Audit -> then choose one or both types of activities to audit.
Please check the help file for the same.

  • Dimension Members in BPC is not updating

    Dear Friends,
I have trasfered the values of the 0GL_ACCOUNt to the account dim of my appset in BW using the transformation and i could see the values in the BPC display dimension members.
But simillary i have created the transformation and uploaded  the values of the 0Move_type to the flow dimension and am trying to view the same in the BPC but am not getting any valuess in dimension member list of the Flow dim.
I too closed and reopened the admin console. What could be the reason, kindly suggest.
    Thanks
    Prem

There is a task in the Action Pane from BPC Administration to Refresh client dimension members.  Try it.  Also try to save and process your dimension again.  Finally, hate to state the obvious but make sure your DTP loaded to the right infoobject which was generated from BPC.  Do you see the master data in BW from RSD1?

  • How to install an STK applet on SIM via OTA (over the air)?

    Dear All,
What I am trying to do is to load and install an applet by sending (over the air) the same sequence of direct GP apdu commands wrapped in envelope commands.
The sequence of direct sequence involves selecting the issuer security domain, initialize update and external authentication before load and install. However, 03.48 does not specify these security management steps. Does this mean that load and install commands can be sent without prior authentication?

I looked at the GP spec 2.1.1 amendment A, but it's mentioned that this pseudo random is being used for EXPLICIT secure channel not implicitYou are correct that it was for an explicit secure channel. This is useful if the security level of C-MAC only do not meet your requirements. I have mentioned two separate ways of getting a secure channel without needing a response from the card to calculate the cryptograms.

  • Will I get charged for going over the CC limit?

I have a CC that I just basically maxed out without going over the limit but was real close.  I want to know if when they calculate the interests on the debt with that put me over the limit on the card which will then trigger them to charge me a fee for going over the limit? I know I should not do this but I have a check coming in a couple of months that will clear the debt completely so no worries there. Thanks in advance

    Hello,
Since moving to Infinity we have experienced consistently poorer stability in our BB service, however over the past week, our connection now seems to drop every few minutes.
We do not lose connection between the wireless router and the laptop, ps3 or xbox, as this still shows us to be connected. However, in order to restore the connection we do need to disconnect and reconnect to the wireless router.
We are also seeing 3568 kbps download and 6041kbps upload speeds....is this considered normal for infinity?
    Ta!

    Hi j0nnymac,
Welcome to the forums If you're still having problems, could you please post up a bit more information on your setup i.e. are all your devices connected wirelessly or have you a mix of wired/wireless connections; does the problem occur on all devices at the same time; have you tried making any changes to your setup/Homehub settings?
The page below might help if you're only having problems with the wireless connection:

  • Speeds all over the place

My speeds are all over the place tonight. Tried a HH3 restart and speedtests and downloads are varying from 3mb/s to 7mb/s. Same servers were full speed for me yesterday.

why did you change to the hh5 if the hh4 and modem were working ok?  I would go back to the modem and either use the newer HH5 or revert back to the hh4.  see if that brings back your stable connection and if so your speed should improve

  • Broadband Noise All Over The Place

Cannot seem to get this resolved after many chats with BT support.
My noise profile used to be about 6dB with FAST path After the bad weather about 8 weeks ago, my noise profile went up to about 20dB and nw INTR.
Ever since it's been all over the place.
Contacted support many times - they say they will look at it and nothing happens. Keep connected, run speedtester etc.
Had a chat with support today, who performed a rest with BT wholsale - got a fantastic connection of about 7mb. All started getting wobbly and has climbed all day back up to about 14db.

Thi is very frustrating - was getting a reasonably stable 4mb at 6db. Now connection keeps resetting all the time and hitting by speed.

Have you tried the quiet line test? - dial 17070 option 2 - should hear nothing - best done with a corded phone. if cordless phone you may hear a 'dull hum' which is normal

  • Can multiple iphones with multiple itunes accounts be synced to one mac keeping apps seperate over the air?

We have about 20 iPhone's in our environment and syncing and updating them has become a real chore lately.  Everyone has their own iTunes account and apps that they use. Is there a way that they can be synced, backed up and updated over the air (not iCloud) to the same MAC?  Because we are in the financial sector we will not be able to use iCloud. Should we look into some sort of private cloud and if so; any suggestions on how to accomplish it would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you in advance,
    J

We have several macs, several ipods, a couple of iphones, several itunes store accounts. So far no problem. You might have to share passwords if you want to share content. I think iStore accounts can only be used on up to 5 computers. We have 7, so have to be a little careful about that. I don't think there is a limit on how many iDevices can be used with one account. I also don't think there is a limit on how many accounts can be used on a single computer (might be wrong about that). You have to be logged into the iStore to download content, and your computer has to be registered with the account to use the content, but once it is on, and registered, syncing to an iPod is not a problem (you do not have to login in again for each account the content was purchased from). I'm just glad I only have two kids, and one wife - things could get trickier in a big family with . . .
