Water pipeline network

Hi All,
Our company would like to use LabView for doing analysis work for water pipeline network.
We are looking for a software both capability of the control and the flow assessment on real time. Actually air is the working fluid at the normal condition in the system. We would like to control both of mass and pressure. We want not only to check those result data from our virtual design but to control those results data with the system requirement in the system performance point of view.
Could somebody here be able to give us some examples or hints?

It might be difficult to locate an example that is specific to your application for several reasons. Primarily, most of the example code on the site will be aimed at illustrating basic concepts and will not be comprehensive solutions. Additionally, example programs must be written specific to the hardware for which you are programming. Before you can view example code, you must consider the platform for which you would like to develop. As linked previously, our Programmable Automation Controllers (PACs) come in many different form factors from which to choose. Lastly, example programs are written such that they can be executed by anyone who has the hardware; it is rare that an example will be written under the assumption that a user will have several specific I/O points (such as pumps, valves, transducers, and switches). You will find various examples for data acquisition, data analysis, process control, and user interface separately. From these pieces, you can build an application that specifically meets your needs.
That being said, we do have several resources that will assist in your selection of a hardware platform. These can also show you how code can be configured for basic operations. Your final application will consist of several basic blocks used together to control your system. I would suggest you take a look at the product pages for FieldPoint and CompactRIO. One of these two forms of Programmable Automation Controllers should align closely enough with your application to begin searching for example code.
Below I have linked several resources that may be of interest. The first link is to a list of Web Events for our Compact FieldPoint line of Programmable Automation Controllers. The "Advanced Control Schemes with Programmable Automation Controllers" is quite a detailed look at Compact FieldPoint. It provides you with an overview of process control as well as a look at the code behind the application. I have also included links that might help you to choose a real-time system as well as to get a feel for what LabVIEW can do to acquire, analyze, and present your data.

While our sales representatives may be able to talk about specific applications, it is less likely that we will have a turn-key solution for you to browse. If it do, I wonder what to drawbacks are that make people not use this feature in about:config.
Additionally I wonder what about:config changes I should make to make to have pipelining run correctly.

The extension Pipelining Firefox will make the following changes to about:config. So I guess they will make a good outline of what to change.
network.http.pipelining
network.http.pipelining.aggressive
network.http.pipelining.ssl

It will also set the

Better browsers than FireFox with spell checks?

I've been using FireFox but it's slow and wouldn't response sometimes,are there any better browsers that also provide spell checks?Thanks!

try this to speed up firefox:
1. Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit return. Scroll
down and look for the following entries:
network.http.pipelining
network.http.proxy.pipelining
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time.
When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really
speeds up page loading.
2. Alter the entries as follows:
Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"
Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"
Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests " to some number like 60. This
means it will make 60 requests at once.
3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer.
Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0".
This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves.

Cpu usage is 100% and firefox 10

I have a question. I'm on dial-up and have a older desktop computer. I guess it's about 5 years old. Lately when I'm on firefox, especially sites with a lot of graphics like ebay, firefox freezes and then I have programs that say that they're not responding. When I check windows task manager, firefox.exe usually says it's anywhere from 120,000-180,000K. How do I get the computer not to freeze? Sometimes it takes up to an hour to close down everything because it's not responding. How do I fix this? Can I tweak something in firefox? While searching google, I found the following info. There was no date on the article. Would this work?:

Firefox running extremely slow

In the last couple of months my G4 has started running extremely slow. Especially when I am using firefox. It takes several minutes to load a new page. Any ideas of how to clean that up and get it working properly?

you may aso want to try this:
type in the address bar:
about:config
scroll down til you see:
network.http.pipelining
network.http.proxy.pipelining network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
set the first 2 to true by double clicking them, and then double click on the last one, and change the max requests to something like thirty.
max request is how many times your web page asks for the page you are trying to visit--so if you increase this, you are likely to see pages load a lot faster--thus you could say 100, however, this is sort of selfish, cas a webpage can max out on requests at any given time and if you are requesting something like a 100 then you may be causing a lot of other users to be timed out.--so don't go crazy and share--but this will make firefox much faster--I keep mine at 30.

Yes, that kind of tallies with my experience ... after 3 days of useless iPhone 3G (BTW, killing 3G on the phone and relying on acquiring AT&T 2G didn't help, it still locked onto T-Mobile with the result that it was draining battery and rebooting frequently!), I ended up visiting the local Apple Store.
Although the visit was not to resolve the iPhone problem, whilst there I happened to cycle the phone and due to the store having a local AT&T cell, the strength of the local signal meant that I finally re-acquired a AT&T 3G signal ... once locked on again the phone was fine for the next day.
Nett outcome of this is that I would prefer to lay most of the blame for this debacle on the poor state of 3G support both by AT&T (and US carriers in general), maybe exacerbated in my case by two related events (the local DNC in Denver, which saturated local AT&T cells including 3G and a proliferation of v2.0.0 and v2.0.1 firmwares on iPhones in town, which dragged cell coverage into the weeds).
It would be nice for future sanity if AT&T and T-Mobile could at least resolve the ability to acquire/release the iPhone gracefully, otherwise I'll be very sceptical of travelling back to the US with only my iPhone, as a self-employeed consultant I can't afford to be out of touch for three days again!

A replacement iPhone is usually a refurbished iPhone that has received new battery and case and repair of anything that may have been faulty. The refurbished iPhone is indistinguishable from a new iPhone. A number of the regulars on here prefer the refurbished Aplle products because they have been so thoroughly tested.
A replacement iPhone is identical to the original, same color, capacity, and so on.

So my iphone is about 5 months old, over the last week it has been searching for a network signal. Yesterday i blew inside the sim tray to as i thought there was something stuckin there (stupid i know) but today apple denied replacement due to water damage. theres no water damage and the wet indicator is white. any advice on what i can do?? as i know it hasnt been submerged in water or exposed to water the phone was broken before i blew in it...the phne works fine its just not picking up a network

Take it back to the Apple store and ask for an explanation as to why they believe there is water damage. They should be able to show a water sensor that has been affected.
If still unhappy with the explanation, ask for a manager.
IF that does not get a satisfactory resolution, contact Apple customer care.

Use the Settings app to select your Wi-Fi network.
Settings > Wi-Fi > Select the Wi-Fi Network that will not work > then select Forget this Network
After to accept this choice your iPad should see your network again and allow you to enter the new password.

Looks like the Wifi and network antenna has been damaged by the water. It is a hardware problem and can only be fixed by the professionals.

Just an update it is a hardware issue and very common for iPhone 4s. I have to get my phone rewired which basically means new wireless chip. The amount of money I spent on buying an iPhone I should not expect to have anyway hardware problems happening. Make sure you have a warranty as luckily I've saved myself from spending more money to get this problem fixed.

Pipeline material in Network order

We have requirement to user material with material type PIPELINE and backflush these components during confirmation of network.
I am getting error message 'Material XXXX is incompatible with item category PIPE ' during assignment of Pipeline materials to Network. we choosing item category = N (non stock) to assign pipeline materials to the activities.
Please advise, if some has used pipeline materials in network and backflushed by using CN25.

Do check with your MM consultant to fix the item category group "PIPE" defined the used material. Error is explanatory.
I have no idea whether we can use pipeline material with Item category "N". Generally Pipeline material (raw material is pumped from storage tanks to produciton unit. this material could be in the form of liquid or semi liquid. In my past project we have different concept used by PP to measure Qty consumed to produce final product but not used these materials on project network) are being used in process industry to measure the Qty being consumed for producing final product. In that case, I guess, your material never be a Non-stock item. Becaue of this reason system might be throwing error.
