WDA: No message for validation check on dynamic context / UI

Hello,
The WD framework is checking user input to the UI elements automatically.
If I use an input field ( bound to a structure containing a Data Element of type DEC 3   for example) and enter a non-numerical value I will see this message:
"The Entered Value Can Only Contain Numerical Characters"
in the message area.
If I do the same with dynamic code ( Context and UI elements are created dynamically) this message does not appear.
The application behaves like the "manual built" one ( I can't navigate away until the "wrong" value is corrected ), but the inputfield with the "wrong content" is not highlighted and the message is not displayed in the message area.
I'm using the following methods to create the dynamic UI:

There is a problem in the method
CL_WDR_MESSAGE_MANAGER->GET_MESSAGES_FOR_WINDOW().
In my case we had two views with the same name (one in a start-component, one in the target-component). After renaming the 2nd. view everything works fine.
Note 964613 describes a similar problem, but didn't solve ist entirely.

One possibility is to use descendent jQuery selectors to attach the dynamic action event handler by column heading:

When trying to upload adobe connect 7 license to the adobe connect 7 configuration wizard. the problem occurs because my server was install on Arabic Saudi Arabia date format while installation, but if i change the windows date format to US then the problem still occurs, and formatting windows is not possible, could anybody help??

No i am not on host mode, a have installed it deferent times ago successfully, but the only problem now is that during the installation windows server 2008 the default language, time and date. Was set Arabic Saudi Arabia. And even changing it does not solve the problem, as i mentioned above.

Custom Error Message for Validation.....

Here is my Validation:
I want the error which is grown from what is wrong on the page to display after the validation.
the GUI for validation will not let me leave the Validation ERROR box empty...just not sure how to get around this.

SO what I did was make sure that the process doesn't go false:
and at the end just checked my messages and added an error on the end. WHEW hope this helps someone in the future.

How to create messages for Validation in transaction type OB28

Hello All!
I am creating a validation in transaction type ob28. I have created the first point "prerequisite", second point "Check" and in the third point "Message" I want to put the message number 016 but the next error appears "Entry E ZFI 160 does not exist in T100". How can I create this messages number?

Hi Leyre,
This message applies to a problem with change requests. When creating a message, it's a workbench request that system has to create. Apparently, when you try to create a message, it tries to catch 'tramp' on existing CR which is assigned to a different client in your system. You should try assigning a new CR for this change; you could ask your BASIS team to help you on this.

When I check the code with the code checker in Homesite, I get the error message that I have not closed a tag, such as <cfset> but when I check the code the tag is closed. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Error message - "Overlapping validity areas were found for country BR"

Hi Experts,
For a certain output type Y953 (e.g. for the shipment 2002355665 related to the DN 3087912658), an error message "Overlapping validity areas were found for country BR" is coming in as error.
The error message is appearing during the idoc processing of the shipment.
This is an incident of Dangerous Goods.
I would like to know if it is technically / functionally possible to find out as to why exactly this mesage is coming and how can we rectify the problem.
From technical point of view we checked that this message was not being called in the SAP system but was dynamically called.
kindly let me know of any breakthrough as this issue is critical as dangerous goods are being transported without needed documents printed.

I am Using ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST badi for validation in Purchase order (ME21N),
For that I implemented PROCESS_ITEM method which fires during each row now i add another validation in same implementation for plant should be same through out the all line item. Now following code is woking fine but when for second line item user changese plant then it shows error message as per logic which is fine but even after changing plant to correct one the error message is still coming why is it so?

Since you want to compare all items together (having the same plant) I would suggest to implement this logic either in method CHECK or POST of the interface.
However, if you want to make your checks within the PROCESS_ITEM method then you should change your logic.
It does not make sense to work with the ABAP memory within a BAdI implementing class because the class itself is your "memory".
I would use the following logic to implement your validation:
lo_poheader = im_item->get_header( ). " retrieve header instance
lt_items = lo_poheader->get_items( ).   " retrieve all items
ls_detail_x = im_item->get_detail( ). " details of currently processed item
LOOP AT lt_items INTO ls_item.

Validation check for Tcode FB10 and FB60 - FICO.

I have an issue in validation check for Tcode 'FB60' and 'FB10'.
there are two exits coded for these transactions through transaction 'GGB0'.
details for the two exits.
exit 1.
when posting a vendor invoice, the network status is checked whether it is completed or not - if status is completed error message is raised.
exit 2.
when posting vendor invoice - for G/L Account in 60000 - 69999 series network should not be posted. if posted error message is raised.
when these two exits are entered via a prerequisites in code 'KGB' a code is generated automatically to call these exits- when transaction 'FB10' 'FB60' is executed.
Issue:
for code 'FB10' is executed with network with status completed and with G/LP account in 60000 - 69999 series -
error message is raised in sequence i.e. exit 1 is raised and then exit 2 is raised.
but for code 'FB60' if condition for exit 2 is not satisfied then exit 1 message is raised.
but it should be in sequence in raising the error message i.e. exit 1 and then exit.
Even though for both the transaction the auto generated code is similar and even exits are similar - but it is execution in raising the error message is diffrent.
- Since it is auto generated code i am able to figure out the issue.
i would appreciate if any one could help me out in this issue.

I have one requirement in Ehancement for to check the validations in ME21n,ME22n,ME28,ME29n...
If the PO document date is after 31.12.2010 and vendor Group 1800 then check the Inco-terms with "SET" values whether the user entered value fals with in the "SET" value, if so then allow to save the PO else Else system should read the "SET" values and suggest user to select correct Inco terms.
Example when user enter wrong Inco-Terms then system shoud give Error Message Please Select Inco-terms CPT or DAP or FCA..
Can any body plz suggest me the user exit or Is it possible through the enhancement Framework...
plz help me how to proceedd??

Hi Veena,
To find a BADI for a given tcode follow the below steps.
1. Go to the TCode.
2. Menu Item System -> Status.
3. Double click on the transaction Name (For ME21N double click on ME21N).
4. Check the Package (e.g. ME)
5. Go to TCode SE80
6. In the drop down choose Package and type the Package Name (e.g. ME). Dont forget to Hit Enter or display.
7. Object Name Enhancements -> Business Add-ins (Def.) (You will see all the BADI's available here ).
In your case, you need BADI : ME_BAPI_PO_CUST.
Go to SE19 to implement the BADI.
If you put your conditions in Create Purchase Order(ME21N), you will not need to add them in Release PO(ME28N) since the conditions will be checked when PO is created.

I have a requirement for making material description as non mandetory in change request view of mdg material screen.
I have done that using field usage in get data method of feeder classes, but still message is displaying.
This message 'Material description is mandatory is displaying with check action only, but not with save or submit after i anhance field property as not mandetory.
How to prevent error message for material description in MDG material detail screen, when user click on check action.

Hello Sukumar
In IMG activity "Configure Properties of Change Request Step", you can completely deactivate the reuse area checks (but will then loose all other checks of the backend business logic as well).
You can also set the error severity of the checks from Error to Warning (per CR type, not per check).
Or you provide a default value for the material description, e.g. by implementing the BAdI USMD_RULE_SERVICE.

How to programmatically set an error message for a validation rule of an EO

Is there a way to programmatically set an error message when validating any data on an EO?
It seems the API of the EO interface does not have any method to be defined for my needs..
