Thanks a lot. I see ,it's available to download when the software at the time of purchase on the adobe ID.
But in china ,in fact the company buy the license from the adobe agency.But the agency just give us the licence and the DVD disk copy,They do not let us know the adobe ID.
And now i cannot find the DVD disk.And the downloading link cannot find for chinese version
1.Could i use this license in adobe Acroba XI( 11)
2.Could i use this license in adobe Acroba X (10.0) engish version?
3.We do want to use this chinese license. Do you have any way to let me just downing it? I do not know why there only has not the chinese version from Download Acrobat products | Standard, Pro | XI, X

In the latest version of Pages (5.0) I cannot find the refresh button to update a chart copied from Numbers (also latest version 3.0). I saved my Numbers document before copying to Pages. Can anyone help?
I think you identified my mistake. I confused tables-charts-graphs. I was wanting a "table" of cells (numbers) to be added to the Pages document. Is there no way to do that and keep the tables linked between Numbers09 and Pages09?
An example would be a Numbers spreadsheet calculating a number (say, a product price) and that number (data) be linked to a product information text in Pages.
I just recently saw the Merge function in Pages, but have not yet learned how that works. I don't use Pages much at all but it would come in handy for creating to information sheets about products --- with the product pricing being updated from a Numbers spreadsheet.
If you have any hints on how that can be done or where I can find info on that I would appreciate it.

Hello, I purchased PS elements 12 for a windows pc. This pc died and I had to buy a new computer, I got a Macbook air, and since I had just downloaded PS elements 12 adobe was nice enough to send me the cd version for a mac in the mail. I did not have a cd drive at the time so I've taken a few months to get around to installing it. I am attempting to now but I cannot locate the serial numbers. Also I purchased the original and the second set through the official adobe website, not through a different retailer.

I am working on many projects and my bookmark folders suffice. I need to create new folders, but not "Smart Folders." After over 2 hours, I keep coming back to the same description of how to add new folders to existing ones. NOT what I want to do. This used to be easy, but the set up must have changed as I've been trying to do this all day with no success.
Also, somehow my gmail inbox appears twice in my bookmarks toolbar. Again, I am finding information that does not apply to me in help and former question files and links. How do I remove things from my bookmarks toolbar?

In the Bookmarks Library, in the left hand pane click on "Bookmarks Toolbar" to select it, now in the Organize menu select "New Folder".
If you have the capability to right-click, you can also right-click on the Bookmarks Toolbar and select New Folder.

Some of my groups do not work. I have looked at all the addresses, but cannot find any that are obviously faulty. How can I find which addresses are rejected ?
Eureka. You are right. I just tested closing and reopening Mail and now today's groups work. Regarding editing the existing groups, I found an article from 2011 on CNet that claimed that iCloud disables the Distribution List Editor. The work around is to create a single dummy group under "On My Mac" which will reactivate the editor which can then be used for iCloud groups. I tested this and it works.

Mac Pro can access other Macs but those same Macs cannot access the Mac Pro
Hello.
I have a highly annoying problem that goes as follows:
My (home) network consists of:
- 1 Mac Pro (e2008 - 10.5.6)
- 1 iMac (2008 - 10.5.6)
- 1 MacMini (2004 - 10.4.??)
- 1 MacBook Air (2008 - 10.5.6)
The internet connection is alive and well with no drops not that it truely matters here.
The setup is as follows:
- Linksys AM300 in half bridge mode connects to the
- Apple Airport Extreme Base station from which 1 cat6 cable runs to the
- Mac Pro
The other Macs connected to the Airport Extreme wirelessly.
The Mac Pro has its network settings setup correctly (in fact it used to work fine but then just stopped working) and I have also disabled all network settings, rebooted and reapplied the settings to no effect.
To clarify:
I (Mac Pro) can connect to all Macs in the network but all those macs can see me but not connect to me. Connecting via the Finder simply says "Connection Failed" and if I open the "Connect to server.." and enter the IP address of the Mac Pro it results in an error/failed connection also.
Any ideas to fix this would be highly appreciated.
PS: As of now, 19/03/2009, I have all software updates installed on all macs in the network.Place the files you want to transfer on the Desktop
Click on the Finder or desktop to swtich to Finder, then Go > Computer, then double click on the boot drive, then on the Users folder.
Open the target User folder and inside is a Public folder > Drop Box, just drag and drop in there and the permissions change so that user can use the file. -
Some web pages did not load correctly. (on Imac). Deleted Firefox and moved Profile to another drive to backup.
Downloaded new Firefox. When I try to install, I keep getting this message-"A copy of Firefox is already open. Only one copy of Firefox can be open at a time."
I went in and searched for all occurrences of Firefox or Mozilla and deleted.
It will still not load.I cannot get Firefox to run now. I backed up my Profile to another drive. Cannot create a new one as Firefox will not run. It says there is another copy running. However, I have deleted all Firefox and Mozilla files and downloaded new. When I try to run it, I get the message to close Firefox as two cannot run at once.
I did create a new Mac account logon and can run Firefox there, so something in the other account is showing Firefox is running.
I also checked in ACTIVITY MONITOR and in SETUP and there is no Firefox or Mozilla running.
So, where can this bug be hiding???? -
Acrobat startup error 3: Cannot find the path specified (citrix)
If a user logs in an error is generated: Error: 3 - The system cannot find the path specified. 'OK' has to be clicked, otherwise Adobe Acrobat and Distiller do not work.
The system is a Citrix environment. Not all terminal servers experience this problem.

I downloaded Adobe Acrobat X in 2010 and then a few years later I got a new computer and I would like to install the Adobe Acrobat X on my new computer but I cannot tell if I had more than one license and my Adobe account is not showing that I ever downloaded or ordered anything. Can you assist?

No. However, OS X has always used the PDF format to raster pages to printers.
It has built-in support for PDF, but some of the advanced features are not available. The Preview app can be used to view PDFs, and Safari can render PDFs in the browser. -
I have installed Adobe Creative Cloud for teams CC Packages which says that Acrobat XI Pro is installed. Your support page says it does not install Acrobat and I have to look in the Extensions folder for an MSI file. I have run a number of searches and cannot find the Acrobat extension folder please advise how can I get these applications to load onto my computer?
Also I now administer the teams and have accepted the invitation to I received to be a team member and download the apps. The admin page shows that I have been sent an invitation but does not show my account as "ACtive" unlike my other team members. I tried to use the link in the invite to accept it become active but the link displayed an error saying I had already accepted the invite... why is no account not active?

I saved photos from my Macbook Pro onto my Iphone (using itunes, 4 years ago). My macbook is now dead and I need to get the photos I saved off of my iphone 3GS transferred to a pc. Any help... From my PC I can only access "internal storage"
The iphone is not a storage/backup device. The picture sycn is one way - computer to iphone. The photos are also reduced in size when synced to iphone so they are not of the original quality
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup of your computer.
Have you failed to do this?
If so, not good at all, you can e-mail the pics to yourself - keep in mind they will never be of the original quality -

Thanks for your response to my question, I see your point and will do that, however, I have another folder that was created before I had a Mac, which has all sorts of lovely titles and labels and some of those pictures I brought over to my ibook when I first started. So there are some duplicates in my iphoto library that I already have backed up in that other folder. I guess I shouldn't really obsess about those. I guess I am just nervous about deleting all my prior iphoto library, but I should have faith that it will all be there in my pictures library. Just trying to clean up the virtual mess.
I'll hold my breath and take the plunge.

What do you mean "Leave them my laptop again"? do you mean you have had it worked on before? for the same problem or a different one?
You need to take it in to Apple ASAP. No matter how long they have it, you want it fixed and fixed correctly.
