We have an openerp server with webclient, after upgrade of firefox some icons are not oppening submenus as it used to be, while they are still working on internet explorer 8

We have an ERP application(openerp), where the web client was working very fine.
After one of the upgrades of firefox, some of the icons on the web page that should open a sub-page for selection of items in the main page are not working any more. We click on them, yet no response
I donwloaded the fidler and it record any request sent from the PC when clicking those icons.
I tired internet explorer 8 and the icons are working, so it is not a server side problem

Please read this: Adobe Lightroom - Find moved or missing files and folders
You do not want to be in the Import section of Lightroom, you want to be in the Library Module. You don't want "Update Folder Location", you want to ctrl-click on a Folder name (not in Import, but in the Library Module Folder Panel) and select "Find Missing Folder"
You do not want to re-import photos that have already been imported, this is almost always a bad thing to do.

Problem with netflix after upgrading to firefox 6

1) Open Firefox 6.0 and enter "www.whatsmyua.com" without quotations in the address bar and highlight and copy your present User Agent string from the top of that page when you get there.

Problems with Ebay after upgrading to Firefox 9.0.1

i have two computers. 1 with firefox 8 which navigates all aspects of Ebay(as a seller) fine. 2 with firefox 9.0.1 which has decided to stop me me editing variations in my listings. Ebay have suggested clearing out the cache etc but to no avail. This is causing a huge inconvenience and I reall don't want to go back to Internet Explorer(which also works fine)

The problem is not fixed and only getting worse and it is related to working with Ebay's picture service.
How do I go back to version 8?

All of a sudden all tool bars have disappeared. they still work on internet explorer

It just started. I start firefox and it opens with none of the tool bars. The only way I can close it is to go to task manager. I can't access any bookmarks or anything else. I tried to open in safe mode by starting with the space key depresed. Also tried to accss using the alt key. No luck
Things work with internet explorer, but I don't have the bookmarks saved there.

Supposedly people are not receiving my texts. (says undeliverable) my daughter says they are coming from my email to her?? could i have possibly clicked something in error where i am sending via the wrong messages? is anyone able to assist?

Ive been sending messages on my iphone 5s fine until about a week or two ago. now people are saying they are getting "message undeliverable" when sending me a message. After upgrading to firefox 9.0, will not start. Error message says MOZCRT19.dll is missing.

Runnng Windows 7 anf Firefox 6. Upgraded to 9.0. Error message says try reinstalling to fix problem . Have tried with no success. Uninstalled all firefox programs and did a clean install with same error message appearing when I tried to start up.

Can be caused by having Virtualization enabled in ZoneAlarm Extreme Security.

Flash doesn't work on Internet Explorer after updating

I work in a professional environment
I have a Terminal server Windows 2008 R2 and I update Flash player to 11.5.502.146 (usinag command change user /install like usual)
Since this update, Internet Explorer is very very slow and we can not use it anymore
If I disable Flash player, it works perfertly
I tried to uninstall it / reboot / reinstall it but it doesn't work
For the moment we use Firefox, but we need Internet Explorer for our intranet
Do you have any idea ?
Does anyone know how I can get an older version 11.5 ?

Could you give our 11.6 beta a try to see if that improves the situation? If not, try reverting back to a known working previous version (or our latest 10.3) to verify it's directly related to 11.5.502.146.

I have an HP DV7 laptop and after upgrading to Firefox 6 the scrolling on the touchpad does not work. It works find in any other program, just not firefox.

New computer has been loaded with old Itunes library but a number of earlier purchases say they are not "authorized" on this computer even though the bulk of my library works-- this is only about 5% of the total but were all purchased 9/18/2008 or before?

New computer has been loaded with old Itunes library but a number of purchases prior to 9/18/08 are not "authorized" when I try to play them.
They are all items I purchased from Itunes but they won't play any longer even though they show in my Itunes library.
Doesn't work when I enter account info and password either.
This is only about 5% of my library and many purchased items play no problem.
Any help would be appreciated.

Three words, Target Disk Mode. Use a firewire cable to connect two Macs and then hold down the T key when you boot the Mac you want to transfer files from, G4 Tower. It will appear as a hard drive on the desktop of your Macbook Pro. Then you can just drag and drop the whole folder.

When setting up outlook, we are trying to connect to a mailbox on exchange server 2007. We put in the EWS details in the server field since our autodiscover function is not functioning. But still it doesn't work. There are no errors, no popups. We turned on the logging and in the logs, it says a error of -3259. We are stuck and any help will be really appreciated.

I have a customer experiencing exactly the same issue. Their computer is running Windows 7 Pro with Office 2007 SP3. After seemingly exhausting all troubleshooting options, I backed up their data, formatted the hard drive and performed a clean install of
Windows and all their applications. It didn't solve the problem!
What's strange is the customer also has a laptop computer, running the same version of Outlook, and that doesn't experience any problems connecting to Office 365 on the same network.
My next step is to send the customer a new ADSL modem/router to try.
I have another customer on Office 365, also running Outlook 2007, and they also experience issues with emails sitting in the outbox while Outlook displays the status message “Outlook is trying to retrieve data from the Microsoft exchange server outlook.office365.com.”
In this case Outlook doesn't freeze/stop responding, like it does for the first customer I mentioned.

VPN Server broken with Windows after upgrade from Tiger.

I use Tiger 10.4 Server on a PowerMac G4.
It has two network interfaces, one public facing with it's own static IP, and the other internal facing.
The VPN service works perfectly, and allows people to connect via L2TP and assignes them an IP on the internal facing subnet, and allows OS X and Windows clients to connect.
However after upgrading to Leopard, only Mac clients can connect, all the Windows clients connect, and although they get an IP and are able to ping destinations, attempts to connect to these destinations (some of which are web apps on port 80, others are file servers running Samba), they just sit waiting for ever.
I've experimented with this problem, and it appears to be a problem with MTU and packet fragmentation, however these settings appear to be the same between Tiger, which worked, and Leopard which does not work.
Does anyone have any experience with the new VPN Server in Leopard, and can offer me any advice on how to fix this problem? I'm currently downgraded to Tiger again until a fix can be found.

I had the same issue, among others, but I finally got everything to work eventually. It seems that if the IP range of the client connecting to VPN is in the same range of the server LAN, there will be connectivity issues, whether it be pcs and/or macs not being able to connect. The following set up got my VPN services working:
1. Get DNS and Open Directory working properly. When I did an upgrade, the Server Admin updated my zone files with a curious extra space, which killed DNS. For example, I had the name server as ns.company.private., but in the files it would say ns. company.private everywhere! I've been reading about various bugs in upgrading DNS, so I think it's best just to start DNS from scratch. But if you are upgrading, the following thread expalins how to go about setting up DNS and Open Directory: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=5957209&#5957209
2. Once you have Open directory users and dns working properly, then set up VPN. Give a unique IP range to the internal network (192.168.7.1/24) that other networks will not emulate. If you use 192.168.1.1, you will likely run into issues. You can always test this method out by changing the IP range from a remote location and trying to get in this way instead of changing the server. Also, be aware that if you use Gateway Assistant within NAT, it will automatically give you a 192.168.1.1/24 range, at least that's been my experience, and this always killed VPN for me. I would set up NAT manually to avoid problems.
3. Ensure that the DNS information under the Client Information tab is correct. For my server I have 192.168.9.1 as the nameserver, and company.private as the search domain. Then set up routing tables. Mine are 192.168.0.0:255.255.0.0 private and 0.0.0.0:0.0.0.0 public.
Also, when you restart the server, stop and restart VPN services, as there is some talk about the Tiger bug still being around, where VPN services are messed up upon startup. This all worked for me and a couple others that had similar server set ups. Hopefully this will work for you.

Have you repaired permissions and restarted your computer after installing ML? Checked your printer settings in System Preferences?
If Software Update does not list any updated drivers for your model printer, you should go to the printer's manufacturer website and download the drivers from there and/or contact their tech support to determine if your printer is compatible w/ML.
Read the various Knowledge Base ML printing articles. Here are a few to get you started:
