Web forms taking paypal payments

Hi all! I remember at the Sydney BC Parters group on 3rd June that one of the presenters said that they had worked out how to take paypal payments from a web form.
In light of the new changes to offline processing (http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-2321), we would like to change our offline payment processing customers to take payment from paypal instead. However, they use webforms at the moment to take their payments. Can anyone suggest how to take paypal payments from web forms?
Thanks so much everyone!

Best thing with BC stuff is to. It hold out waiting for them. Even of they are announced and a date that's 3 months away is set they often do not happen.
Even when release notes role out and then happens things often are pulled out of them.
You will need to get a client to use seamless payment gateway or look at other options Mel. No ETA still.

  • Have you tried another way to recieve payments via the online web form besides PayPal?

    I am trying to provide the option to transfer payment to the organizations account via the the web form. I heard about Chase Quickpay and wondered if I could use the banks option instead of PAYPAL. This will deposit the funds directly into the bank account. Any thoughts? What about your experiences with Paypal, good or bad?

    Hi,
    Sorry FormsCentral does not support other payment besides PayPal.

  • Web form taking too long to generate

    Hello I have a Data Form issue,
    My webform contains more than a 1000 CCenters in the page view.
    When selecting any of the CCenters the Data Form generates perfectly, all accept one of them!!
    Once a user selects that Center, it takes about 2.5 hours to generate.
    Where can i start trouble shooting this issue? What do you think can cause this?

    Did you have supress missing block/data check-up on your form options? ------------->Yes
    Can you try to pull the same data with excel add-in for this CC? -------------> Yes
    What is the RAM on planning & webserver server hosts and OS information? ---------->dont have access to that info
    What was the Essbase data cache setting ? ------------> 30024KB
    Was there any security defined ont this user? --------------> I assign security..have all access..
    Was there any other large sparse dimension in row/column ----------> Yes...
    ....The webform is massive!! The number of employees and projects for this particular cost center exceed more than anyother. Is there anyway to fix tihs issue or its just that there is too much data???

  • My web form is not working with PayPal

    Only seamless gateways such as the "Pro" version of PayPal, eWay or Authorize.net will work with form payments. Gateways that have the user leave BC, such as PayPal Standard, Google Checkout or Realex, only work with the online store.

    I did further testing:
    1. I turned off the IPN and I still received the Error page.
    2. Than I went and turned off the Payment Data Transfer, and now I got the blank page... /PaymentProcess.aspx?paypal=success. However, I still got the paypal transaction ID attached to the orders.
    3. I turned on the IPN and still got the blank  /PaymentProcess.aspx?paypal=success and I still got the paypal transaction ID attached to the orders.So the conclusion is that IPN has no bearing on payments made with PayPal Standard when it is used with custom forms.
    4. I chaged the URL in the Return URL to go to the secure home page instea of to /PaymentProcess.aspx. and...it still sent me to the PaymentProcess.aspx and I still got the paypal transaction ID attached to the orders.
    5. I made the purchase using shoping cart to ensure it works too and this time I even received the receipt on the /PaymentProcess.aspx. The Ref# and Auth Code were "Not Applicable" but it still worked and it was recorded in the orders with the paypal transaction ID
    So my conclusions are:
    1. IPN has no bearing on PayPal payments made from the custom web form
    2. Payment Data Transfer being on sends to the pafe that can't be processesd and it renders Error message
    3. Return URL always send you to the PaymentProcess/aspx regardless what secure url you put in there.
    4. Transcation ID is always passed to the orders as long as it can connect to PayPal. I guess ur will do it as long as the Payment Gateway has the proper informration in there.
    5. It works the same from the custom web form and from checkout form.
    I hope this sheds some light and serves some purpose to whoever is completely confused by this as I am.
    Mario and Liam, thanks for your help. Much appreciated.

  • Multiple payment option on event web forms

    I would like to be able to allow for a 1 pay and 3 pay option on a web form where it would charge the customer 3 equal payments and then turn off automatically if they choose the 3 payment option.  Has anyone figured out a way to do this form inside of BC?

    Hi,
    We want to give the customer the option of either paying by credit card on our own site (which is seamless) but we also want to give them the option of going to the paypal site which is why we have that radio button option. It seems that if the submit button is pressed but they don't go through with the payment on the paypal site that the event booking still takes place. I know about the "Pay Now" buttons that are used with Paypal standard but the option to insert the paypal payment method is available from the web forms sections of BC. I created the form using the e-commerce part of the web forms section so the option seems to be built into the form code by the BC developers. I'm just wondering whether this is a limitation of using a form with a paypal option on an event booking form. Do you know if there is a workaround, ie. whether there is any code that could check to see if the payment went through before creating the event booking?
    There's also another problem that I ran into when I did a complete test, by clicking the paypal option, and then going through with a payment on the paypal site. The payment went through successfully but then when the browser tried re-directing back to our site, I got the following error:
    ERROR: An unknown error occurred. This is most likely due to the merchant profile not being set up correctly. Please contact your system administrator for help
    I spoke to Paypal about this and they said that this was a problem with the BC code. Do you know what causes this error and what the workaround is?
    Really appreciate any further help.

  • How do you set up the paypal standard gateway to work without a web form?

    I must have missed a step.  I have this site set up and the paypal standard gateway does not work with a web form, but works with shopping cart.  Does that mean I need to disable the web form page and use something else to check out?  How do you do this?  The BC help page on this stops at this point in describing what to do.

    For those who are running Windows and controlling the Airport Base Station with Airport for Windows.  Apple just came out with a firmware update for Airport Extreme (7.7.2).  It so happens that this Firmware version requires Airport Software version 6.3 or newer.  The Windows version only goes as high as Version 5.6 or so.  I was also told that Apple is unlikely to upgrade this software.  To make a long story short you need to control (Configure) your Airport Base Station with an iMac, or an iPhone or iPad with the Airport app.  This solved my problems.  Good Luck :)

  • How to send a receipt when using a web form for payment

    I have a site on which people sign up for classes (events) through a web form. I have set this up using a custom form in which the Amount field is populated using javascript, depending on which class they select from a drop down.
    Is there a way to send the client a receipt for the transaction? Would this be done within BC or would it be done within the payment gateway? (Authorize.net, in this case)
    Thanks for any help.

    Hi - I have a similar problem. I found I can send a receipt using sendinvoice=true&amp in the form action, but it uses the default invoice layout and shows GST to be $0, when it should be 10% of the class(event) fee. I can't modify the invoice as it is setup just right for out products, which are purchased through shopping cart. Any ideas on ow to work around this? Any thoughts would be very appreciated.

  • Payment form through Paypal

  • Error when connecting Adobe Form with PayPal

    We are trying to integrate an Adobe Form into a PayPal purchase so that after a customer has purchased something, they are directed to a form to enter some personlization information.  However, it seems that the link is getting changed in the process as you get this message when you click on the redirect link:  an error has occurred.
    The form does not exist. Please re-enter the web address as the link may be misspelled.
    The form exists and this is the link: https://adobeformscentral.com/?f=EL-oB4MmM1PfLdRv4RBmEQ
    It works fine when used alone but we really need it to work in combination with the PayPal.  It is for the purchase of pawprint ornaments and can be found at http://www.humanesocietyofmarlboro.org/
    Pleae let us know how we can get this resolved.  We need it working ASAP.

    Hi;
    Where is it that you have a re-direct link to the form from that Paypal purchase process?  I would double check that you copy/paste the entire link properly and look at the re-direct to make sure it is going to the entire URL and not modifying it or stripping part of it.
    Are you aware that you can do the Paypal payment process through the FormsCentral form?  https://www.acrobat.com/formscentral/en/video-index/paypal-integration-setup.html
    Thanks,

  • How to setup a purchase discount on my web form?

    How to setup a purchase discount on my web form? I use adobe form central and my wix web page only allow me to insert ready host form URL.

    Hi,
      I believe you want to embed a form on your web page.  Please take a look at this link, http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-1991 and see if it works with your web page.  I am not familiar with wix websites tools, but if after trying it out with the instructions on how to embed the form, and does not work, maybe you can provide the FormsCentral web form URL on your web page.  Your end users visit your web page, click on the web form URL link and the form will open in a new browser.
    To get the FormsCentral web form URL, open the form, go to Distribute Tab / Web Form sub-tab and select "Copy Link", then paste the link on your web html page.
    If you want to set up your form to work with PayPal for payment transaction, please see this link: http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-1632
    Hope this helps,
    Thanks,

  • Process Tax in E-Commerce Web Form

    Hi Everyone,
    This is a bit of a hairy one, I've had a chat with one of the support guys and I thought I'd run the issue past the forum to see if anyone had any ideas about it.
    We've got a client who has a webform with credit card processing taking place (with eWay) - only the client will be using it. He wants to type in a GST (Australian 10%) inclusive price in the form. When he receives the system invoice email he wants to see the GST exclusive and inclusive amounts, as well as the GST amount charged.
    Does anyone know if this is possible?
    There's only 1 form field that will affect the payment amount, and as far as I'm aware there isn't a form field which will affect the tax amount.
    The support guy said that if I add javascript to the System Invoice Email to calculate the 10% amount etc, it will calculate that before the email gets sent out.
    I really highly doubt that it will work - as far as I'm aware I actually need to alter the BC database amount, as only module and template tags will get output, and all other code is 'as is', and relies on the browser or email program to work. In this case, I'm 99% sure that all email programs/clients remove all scripts. And seeing as I can only alter the BC database amount before the fact (using javascript in the form itself), and I can only alter 1 amount - the payment amount, I'm stuck!
    Any ideas out there?

    I've had a look at the shopping cart area, and the tax dropdown, which has the following javascript onchange:
    ApplyTaxRate(this.value,1030964,0,1,9807); where 9807 is the catalog ID
    Also, the source points to the /CatalystScripts/Java_OnlineShopping.js file which references the tax code.
    Is there a way of integrating these parts of the shopping cart, or the payment form, into a regular e-commerce enabled web form?

  • How to use single web form for multiple secure zone signup?

    I have multiple secure zones in my website. I want to sell membership of secure zones to users of my website. I want, users signup for multiple secure zone of their choice and submit payment. Is it possible if can you please explain a bit or refer me to an doc about it.
    Thanks a lot for your time,

    I realize this isn't likely, but do you know of a way to allow the user to select the secure zone to be registered (e.g. from a list of multiple secure zones or entering ID of one sz into a text input) from within a single web form? I wonder if this can be passed in through a parameter in the action URL or through a special system field.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    I am working on  ProcessPCR_1 (WS50000041)

  • Discount codes for web forms

    Question:
    I have been using two web forms to allow access to a secure zone. Of them, one is for the trial user access and another is for the paid user access.
    The problem is: Can I use discount codes for the secure zone access? I can't see the way of integrating eCommerce discount codes with web forms.
    Answer:
    Discount codes don't actually work with secure zone access since you have to accept payment through web forms. However, I hired an outside developer to write some code for me, which I don't mind sharing:
    Put this in the Head of your document:
    <script type="text/javascript">
    function refreshAmountToCharge() {
    var frm = document.forms[0];
    var defaultAmountToCharge = 100;
    var couponCode = "ABC123"; // A tribute to Michael Jackson...
    var percentOff = 50;
    var couponCode2 = "DISCOUNT2";
    var percentOff2 = 67;
    var couponCode3 = "DISCOUNT3";
    var percentOff3 = 99;
    var couponCode4 = "DISCOUNT4";
    var percentOff4 = 75;
    /* Fixed amount coupon c*/
    var fixedCouponCode1 = "FIXED1";
    var fixedAmount1 = 20.00;
    var fixedCouponCode2 = "FIXED2";
    var fixedAmount2 = 6.00;
    var fixedCouponCode3 = "FIXED3";
    var fixedAmount3 = 7.00;
    var amountToCharge = defaultAmountToCharge.toFixed(2);
    if (frm.couponCode.value.toUpperCase() == couponCode)
      amountToCharge = (defaultAmountToCharge - (defaultAmountToCharge * percentOff / 100)).toFixed(2);
    else if (frm.couponCode.value.toUpperCase() == couponCode2)
      amountToCharge = (defaultAmountToCharge - (defaultAmountToCharge * percentOff2 / 100)).toFixed(2);
    else if (frm.couponCode.value.toUpperCase() == couponCode3)
      amountToCharge = (defaultAmountToCharge - (defaultAmountToCharge * percentOff3 / 100)).toFixed(2);
    else if (frm.couponCode.value.toUpperCase() == couponCode4)
      amountToCharge = (defaultAmountToCharge - (defaultAmountToCharge * percentOff4 / 100)).toFixed(2);
    else if (frm.couponCode.value.toUpperCase() == fixedCouponCode1)
      amountToCharge = (defaultAmountToCharge - fixedAmount1).toFixed(2);
    else if (frm.couponCode.value.toUpperCase() == fixedCouponCode2)
      amountToCharge = (defaultAmountToCharge - fixedAmount2).toFixed(2);
    else if (frm.couponCode.value.toUpperCase() == fixedCouponCode3)
      amountToCharge = (defaultAmountToCharge - fixedAmount3).toFixed(2);
    frm.Amount.value = amountToCharge;
    // ----------- End Coupon Code Javascript ---------------------
    </script>
    Then, you'll need a Coupon Code field in your form:
    <div class="item">
        <label for="couponCode">Coupon Code</label><br />
        <input type="text" name="couponCode" id="couponCode" class="cat_textbox" />
        <a href="javascript:refreshAmountToCharge()">Update</a>
    </div>
    That's it. Let me know if you have any questions. You can set multiple codes, either percentage based or fixed amount. Experiment with it to make sure it works as expected.

    This is great Mario! Thanks so much for sharing. It works very well.
    One thing I want to add is a validation for the coupon update action. If the coupon is no longer valid or entered incorrectly, a message would be great, because the person might no even notice the fact that the amount did not change even though they think they entered a valid discount code.
