Web printing losing changes to cell changes

Hello,
I have a web report which uses the Web Design API to modify the look of a characteristic using C_CELL_TD_EXTEND and C_CELL_STYLE. This works fine for the display in IE. However, I also use the Web Printing PRINT_HELP_SERVCE for printing. I have a breakpoint set in the Web Design API and it seems to go into the correct method to set up the cell changes for the printing, but when the print template is finished, the cell changes have been lost. Any help?

Do not use the "Update iTunes Match" command every time you make changes in the iTunes library. It does not push information to the cloud. It pulls information from the cloud, effectively erasing all the changes you just made. All you need to do is simply make the changes in the library and leave it alone. The changes will propagate by themselves. However, iTunes Match is glitchy when making a large number of changes in a short period of time, and tends to undo those changes. By "large number" I mean hundred at a time in a few minutes or seconds. You need to make your changes in smaller blocks, and give the changes a few minutes to get pushed to the cloud.
Stop using "Update iTunes Match" and back up your data.

for example i have 3 rows 4 columns, column 3 and 4 are dates. now if i change the date to a new value (eg for of column 3)
for any row, and then i click on any other cell. All cell values ie all rows for that column are changed to that new value.

Excel in Web layout: calculation of total after a cell change

Hi,
I'm using BW 3.5 with SEM BPS 4.0 and Excel in Web layouts. I can see the total rows/columns are not updating automatically after a cell change like it does in "normal html-web". User has to press refresh or save to update the totals. Any workarounds?

Hi Aki,
no I mean in <u>Excel</u>.
When editing the layout, on the third screen, in excel, go to Tools->Options.
Then click on the "Calculation" Tab.
Calculation needs to be set to automatic otherwise you have to refresh to update any results for a given formula.

HP Smart Web Printing only works on Explorer not Firefox 4 are you going to update this as I do not want to change back to Explorer.

I just downloaded the HP Smart Web Printing which is free for those who purchase printers. It provides ability to select and clip or print web pages. It works on Explorer but not Firefox 4. There are many such questions on forums in both HP and Firefox. I love Firefox and would hate to have to go back to Explorer.
Firefox 4 also does not appear to have "Send to OneNote" either. I used to be able to do this in Firefox 3.

I'm reworking my cost estimate sheet and would like to know if the following idea is possible: [the .numbers will probably explain it better than i can]

generally, i will enter unit costs on a job to job basis (or at least spot check pricing per region).. i'll still do this but i'd like to keep the editing off the estimate table and do it on a separate table.. the main reason is that i'll often have to change every cost due to the material requirements.. same dimensions etc but certain jobs require weather resistant materials/hardware.. i'd like to simply switch the type of job on the estimate sheet and bring the correct pricing in.
I'm also not positive that all materials on the estimate sheet will maintain their current position.. i may have to special order something (6x6 -24' ?) for whatever reason in which i'd usually insert it under the post materials.. if need be, i guess i could add any special order materials to a designated are so as not to change any cells.
fwiw, a complete material list will often have over 100 separate item types being ordered from multiple sources.. my main material list has around 450 individual items that i can choose from/order.. (but i have a nice little setup in place to filter only ordered materials and for obtaining individual pdfs per outlet which includes only items they sell).. point being, my example .numbers wouldn't be worth implementing something like this but the real list is more intense.
any ideas?

I'm beginning to develop a strong dislike for this forum's new interface!!
But that's not your fault.
The tables below use a VLOOKUP formula to retrieve the prices from the Current Pricing, and an IF statement in E1 to determine which column the prices are fetched from.
The added column isn't necessary; it was just simpler t do that than to go through the hassle of re-merging the single cell in Row 1. With a change of the cell reference in the VLOOKUP formula, the first formula can be placed anywhere convenient.
In E1:
=IF(LEFT(A1,1)="I",2,3)
The result of this formula tells VLOOKUP to return the results from column 2 or 3 of the Current Pricing table, depending on the first letter of the text in A1 being an "I".
In C3 and Filled Down:
=IF(B>0,VLOOKUP(A,Current Pricing :: $A:$C,$E$1,FALSE),"")
IF is used to return a null string unless there is a value greater than zero in column B.
Looks for the item listed in Column A and returns the value from the row where that item is found and the column specified in E1.
The error triangle in C9 is a "VLOOKUP cannot find.." error cause by the value '3” screws (25lb box)' not being found in column A of Current Pricing.
The error triangle in D9 is "There is an error in C9".

Is your phone still covered by warranty? If so, go to your nearest Apple store and depending on what happened, this may or may not be covered by warranty. If it is, then you can get a replacement exactly as the phone you already have.

Dynamically change the cell editor in the table control

I have 3 columns in a table . of which in one column we need to change the cell editor dynamically at runtime.
i.e for example i have columns as carrid, connid and fldate.
For the first 2 rows the cell editor for the carrid clomn shud be a dropdown and from there on in the next rows for the same carrid column it shud be a input field.
Can experts plz help me how to achieve this as this is very high priority issue....

This is actaully fairly simple to do. You will need to add a cellVariant to your table column. You can then dataBind a context attribute to the selectedCellVariant property of the column to control which cellVariant will be used. This allows you to control row-by-row which cell editor you want to output.

Also here is an example that I did the other day that uses Cell Variants within ALV. This process is actually a little more complicated because you have to go through the ALV APIs. To do this in a normal table is actually easier because you can create the cellVariant in the layout designer.

You could use code similar to the following code in your WDDOMODIFY method of the view in which the table is placed.
data wd_table_cell_editor type ref to cl_Wd_view_element.
data wd_table_column type ref to cl_wd_table_column.
wd_table_cell_editor ?= view->get_element( ID ). (Or any other way to get the refernce to the table cell editor)
wd_table_column ?= wd_table_cell_editor->get__parent( ).
(Get a refernce to table column throught table cell editor or directly)
Now use the set_cell_editor method of wd_table_column to set the column to check box or input or any other field of your requirement.
Also, I suggest you to use ALV as it is simpler change the cell editor and it provides many other improved functionalities.

Changing JList cell renderer on selection

Hi,
In our application we need to change the renderer of the selected cell of JList to JTextArea while maintaining default cell renderer for unselected cells. I tried by providing custom cell renderer (code is given below) but it does not work..:-(. Though the component used by JList for rendering the cell is JTextArea, the height of the cell remains same as that of unselected cells. Our requirement is to change the cell height of the selected row so as to give a feel that selected row expands and shows some more information about the selected item to the user.
Here is the code snippet of the cell renderer that I wrote:

JList calculates fixedCellHeight and then uses the same for every cell. This was causing the problem. By overriding the getRowHeight method of BasicListUI class I was able to achieve different cell heights for selected and unselected rows. Following is the code snippet which shows how this was achieved:

Do you mean cell selection changed? One way is to add a ListSelectionListener to both the table's and the table's ColumnModel's ListSelectionModels. Something likeListSelectionListener lsl = new ListSelectionListener() {
