Hello, Please I have configured WLC 5508 for supporting guest vlan mapped to in virtuel interface and associated to guest ssid wlan.
on guest ssid i have activate L3 security with web policy. both authentication and passtrought does'nt refirect web authentication page.
I can get DHCP param trought dhcp pool for the correct guest vlan.
addition information : i see that the control send a wrong redirect ip adresse.
WLC management interface is 10.7.1.10 and i seen 10.7.4.10. i remeber that this last ip was destinated as dns server ip add but i dont see where i can change it?
the dns ip adress configured on the pool is 10.7.1.10.
please any idea for this issue?

IE9 has not yet been released in final form, it is still in Beta. I do not know if HP has any plans to support the Web Printing application on IE9, but if they do I would not expect them to release anything before the official IE9 release.

Terminal Services - drive redirection doesn't work.

I have got two Terminal servers on Windows 2012 DataCenter(T1 and T2) + AD on Windows 2012 DataCenter.
My problem is, that on a terminal T2 drive redirection doesn't work(also printers and clipboard).
I tried the following things:
- GPO on AD (Computer Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Terminal Services\Terminal Server\Device and Resource Redirection\Do not allow drive redirection=DISABLE).
- local GPO on terminal T2 (Computer Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Terminal Services\Terminal Server\Device and Resource Redirection\Do not allow drive redirection=DISABLE).
- FW is disabled on both terminals.
- Terminal configuration allows to redirect drives and printers.
- I tried to login with domain account and local account, on both account redirection doesn't work.
- System Logs seem to be alright.
- Of course on the client side I mark redirect local drives.
Both terminals are the same, both are VM(T2 is a clone of T1).
Please help...

Thank you for posting in windows Server Forum.
Have you check the firewall rules? Please check that ports/ firewall is not blocking the drive to get redirected. For firewall try to disable the firewall and check. You can use below command on the client.
netsh firewall set opmode mode=disable
This will eliminate the firewall altogether; assuming you are using Windows firewall. Otherwise, disable any other firewall / blocking software and see how it reacts without firewall. Additionally, go back into RDP and manually "set" those options
to allows Disk Drive Mapping and Printer pass-through.

Link To Web Gallery doesn't work

I created a password protected web gallery in Aperture, but when it has completed uploading, the URL to the gallery doesn't work, it never loads in Safari. When I go to My Gallery home page I see the icon for the gallery with the lock as it should be but when I click on it, I get the message " that access for this gallery is restricted and to contact the owner of the gallery" instead of asking me for the password.
If a gallery is not password protected it shows up just fine. Am I missing something? Why doesn't the url for a password protected gallery work.

Just as a note, it works fine in Firefox. It seems to be an issue with Safari and .Mac.

Web Redirect is not working

We configured the web authentication in wlc 5508with ISE for the guest traffic. When client tries to connect it redirects to the different URL. That means the specified URL (that is default redirection page of ISE) 'https://<ISE IP>:8443/guestportal/portal.jsp' but client is getting redirected to
'https://<ISE>:8443/guestportal/login.action?switch_url=https://<virtual IP>/login.html&wlan...'. And finally page cannot be displayed now error message i am getting.
Why it happens..? Any quick help would be really appreciated
Moreover i have doubts on the below points.
1) Should both the Anchor and the foriegn controllers be configured for web auth security or only anchor ..?
2) When external web redirection, the client has to get the DNS resolved entry for the Specified URL or WLC knows to take it to the external web page..?
3) Any special configuration has to be done on ISE?

How to Make an External (Local) Web Authentication Work with an External Page
As already briefly explained, the utilization of an external WebAuth       server is just an external repository for the login page. The user credentials       are still authenticated by the WLC. The external web server only allows you to       use a special or different login page. Here are the steps performed for an       external WebAuth:
The client (end user) opens a web browser and enters a           URL.
If the client is not authenticated and external web authentication is           used, the WLC redirects the user to the external web server URL. In other           words, the WLC sends an HTTP redirect to the client with the website's spoofed           IP address and points to the external server IP address. The external web           authentication login URL is appended with parameters such as the           AP_Mac_Address, the client_url (www.website.com), and the action_URL that the customer needs           to contact the switch web server.
The external web server URL sends the user to a login page. Then the           user can use a pre-authentication access control list (ACL) in order to access           the server. The ACL is only needed for the Wireless LAN Controller 2000           series.
The login page takes the user credentials input and sends the request           back to the action_URL, such as http://1.1.1.1/login.html, of           the WLC web server. This is provided as an input parameter to the customer           redirect URL, where 1.1.1.1 is the virtual interface address on the           switch.
The WLC web server submits the username and password for           authentication.
The WLC initiates the RADIUS server request or uses the local           database on the WLC, and then authenticates the user.
If authentication is successful, the WLC web server either forwards           the user to the configured redirect URL or to the URL the client           entered.
If authentication fails, then the WLC web server redirects the user           back to the customer login URL.
Note: If the access points (APs) are in FlexConnect mode, a           preauth ACL is irrelevant. Flex ACLs can be used to allow           access to the web server for clients that have not been authenticated.

Views dropdown on list view web part doesn't work

Thank you very much beforehand for any help with this issue, I really can't figure out what is going on.
So, I have big list (36125 items and about 25 public views there) and view selector on list view web part just stopped respond there couple of days ago. You click on down arrow and nothing happens... There are no any java script errors in browser console,
there are no any errors in ULS log. Profiler shows that request even is not sent to server when you click it to get list of views.
At the same time, this web-part works correctly with other lists on this site.
Do you have any ideas?

I understand that the view drop down doesn’t work for a specific list. Can you browse these publish views by manually change the view name in the URL? There are two view drop downs in the ribbon(one under the List tab and one under the browser tab). Are
they all not working?
It is a big list, you need to make sure that there are no more than 5000 items in a single view. Only 8 lookups can be added to a view at the same time. You need to make sure that these thresholds.

Web Interface doesn't work after installing 11g

A couple days ago I decided to install Oracle 11g (after already having 10g Express Edition), after successfully installing 11g, I tried to access 10g EE using http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex/apex, and it doesn't work anymore. I tried using a java program with Netbeans that connects to my 10g Database and there's connection with no problems and I can upload/download data with no problems, I just can't access the web interface.

Web Gallery - Upload from web page doesn't work

I've created a web gallery with upload permissions set, no name or password, and none of my friends or relatives can get anything to successfully upload.
I'm using iPhoto 8 version 7.0.2 (341) to build my web gallery, but uploading for others just doesn't work. They get the dialog to enter their name and email, they can choose images, they get the progress window, then nothing. I've deleted the gallery and rebuilt it, I've renamed it, I've looked in my _gallery folders on iDisk, and so no, ad nauseum, ad infinitum.
Anybody know what's up with the Gallery?

I've not used the upload but some have reported that it does not work BUT that uploading via e-mail does work -- give the e-mail route a try as a work around and report the problem to Apple -- iPhoto menu ==> Provide iPhoto Feedback

Try to open the right-click context menu of the Back button and see if you can go back further.
The current active entry in that list has a bullet in front of it.
If you hover an entry in that session history list then it shows the direction by adding an arrow at the left.
You can left click an item to open it in the current tab or middle-click or Ctrl left-click an entry in that list to open that link in new tab, just like you can with other links.

Phone Redirection doesn´t work after Publishing

I published an alreday working Version of my Website with Muse. The Redirection to the Phone Resolution doesn´s work anymore, although all Pages are still in place in the phone directory. The Redirection worked yesterday after the first publishing of the phone Resolution, but after the publishing today, only the desktop sides are available.

I solved the Problem by adding the Muse javascript Redirect-Script from a non-BC Site (via FTP):

QT Pro Export for Web--poster doesn't work in Firefox or IE, only Safari

I had thought that when you Export for Web in QuickTime Player Pro, the 'poster' movie would display in all browsers, on Mac and Windows.
Unfortunately, the poster does NOT work in Firefox (neither Mac nor Windows) nor in IE. It only works in Safari.

You should have four files in the folder that makes everything for the video in the html:
video.m4v This is the actual video that plays.
video.mov This is the referance video that points to video.m4v
poster.jpg This is the poster frame.
html.html This is the html for the above video to play in.
Move one of the above to somewhere else and it will break the video playing in the html.

I couldn't get this to work on my server. I had to go to my server control panel (somewhere out there in Texas) and make a MIME Type setting for the .m4v, so the video could play. Not all servers are setup to play different kinds of videos, documents or images. So, if you ever run across something that plays locally on your computer and not on your sever and your at your wits end.. Contact you server administrator and have them check the MINE setting on the server.

VDI 3.1 USB redirection doesn't work

Having problems with USB Redirection on Windows XP image. I have installed SRWC Components on to the template - I can see utsrSession device, usb redirector icon comes up under system tray too. However, USB sticks doesn't work - checked uttsc logs on solaris box which reported as follows:

Got customer to uninstall the SRWC components package and asked him to install just the USB Redirector (the one from the VDI 3.1 EA release).
