Web services Driver

Is there any inbuilt feature in SES to receive events through webservices. Can anyone guide me by pointing to right documents.
Thanks
Lakshmi

HI heepgra,
Navigate to this location on your laptop.
Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers
Under Printers and Faxes you can see all the printer drivers installed in your machine.
Selected any printer you want to set as default, right click on the icon and click "Set as Default Printer".
Hope this helps.
Kind Regards,
Oliver

  • How do I stop web services driver being default?

    Whenever I print, the default is set to a Web Services printer, and I have to change it to my normal network printer.
    How can I change this? It's a pain having to remember to change to the nwtork printer option every time.
    Can't see anywhere in "Support" about this, can't see anywhere I can change it under "Printers and Settings", Control Panel Device Manager or on the printer itself.

  • Class Not found : oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver when calling web service

    Hi,
    I have installed the Oracle Data Integrator Public Web Services on Apache Tomcat 5.5 application server with Apache Axis2
    When I try to call the web service OdiInvoke using the operation "listScenario" using only the JdbcDriver as input parameter, the response I get back from the web service call is:
    java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: Class Not found : oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver
    Using the operator "getWebServiceVersion" I get a successfull response back som the connection seems fine.
    Obviously the error has to do with the driver not beeing available but where should I put the driver? Or how do I make it available? When working from Topology Manager, all connections are fine.
    Best regards
    M

    Solved it on my own by putting ojdbc14.jar in the following directory: <Apache-Tomcat install dir>/webapps/axis2/WEB-INF/lib/
    Thought I'd share in case some one else has same issue

  • Web Service on Network drive

    Hi!
    I found a problem in PB 12.5 Classic with Web Service on Network drive.
    Problem:
    1- I maped a network drive E:
    2- I created a Web Service on E:\WStest
    3- The WS loads a .JPG file into a DW. So, the WS save the DW as a PDF.
    4- The JPG file is in E:\image.jpg
    5- I added the image.jpg on "Resouce Files" into the WS project
    6- I deploy the WS and run
    7- When I open the PDF file. The image does't appear.
    I did other test, but on this test, I put the JPG file in C: and it works.
    When I put the images on E:, PB creates this path C:\inetpub\wwwroot\WStest_root\file\common\E and put the image.jpg into this path.
    When I put the images on C:, PB creates this path C:\inetpub\wwwroot\WStest_root\file\common\C and put the image.jpg into this path.
    I started the Process Monitor and run the WS. The WS doesn't search the image.jpg in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\WStest_root\file\common\E. The WS just search the image.jpg in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\WStest_root\file\common\C.
    Somebody knows how can inform this error to be fixed? My PB support expired.
    Thanks in advance
    Regards,
    Pedro Soares

    Hi Pedro;
      The WebService.INI file is included with the framework. Have a look for it after you unzip the contents from SourceForge.
    Note:
    1) The <name> parameter is replaced with the contents of the "is_workspace_name" instance variable.
    2) Make sure the WebService.ini file is included in the "Resource Files" tab of your Project object.
    3) Make sure the value of your "is_workspace_name" matches the folder name of your PB target.
      - for example: you store your WorkSpace & Target PB files in "C:\Dev\PB125\WSTest"
        then make sure you set ...   is_workspace_name = "WSTest"
    4) After migrating the framework (deployed in PB 12.1) - make sure that you change "nc_iis_master" class instance variable  is_pb_expected_version = '12.5.2.5629' to match your version of PB.
    Tip: Set the "ib_session_logging" variable to TRUE to see the log from the framework.
    HTH

  • "Cannot log into Web service" error when tying to use Wifi to connect to Google Drive or Facebook

    We have a relatively new Canon Powershot s120.  Up until a few days ago, it worked just fine to connect to the Wifi and upload pictures to both Google Drive and Facebook.  Now, every time I try to connect, I get a message "Cannot log into Web service"
    I have already tried removing Google Drive from the Camera and re-adding it.  I went into the Canon Image Gateway website and disconnected and then reconnected the service.  That didn't do anything.
    Would really appreciate any tips anyone has.
    Thanks!

    Problem sorted - there is a new set of terms and conditions which came out on the 6th August.
    You have to log in under your current user name & password and agree to them and it works again. I spent a frustrating hour doiung this until I found out that this had happened!

  • MDX Driver WIS 10901 Error in Query as a Web service Tool

    Hello,
    I'm trying to design the query as a web service to use for Xcelsius Dashboard (created connection, universe etc in Designer), but can't proceed with query definition - it's only possible to put one characteristic otherwise error WIS 10901 is triggered. Everything works fine with data based on cubes and some other queries.
    Couldn't get help anywhere:
    Here is the same error described in detail - people from SAP solved it, but the solution wasn't described->

    Hi Mark,
    Sorry for late,
    Actually the problem is in QAAWS. I can see the Universe created in QAAWS but when try to see the output bydropping the fields into the output box in QAAWS then I am getting the data base error WIS : 10901

  • Questions on using a SOAP web service's data in a Crystal Reports report

    I'm attempting to create a report using CR 2008, accessing data from a SOAP web service. I've run into a few problems, and need some advice.
    1) CR doesn't seem to support WSDL files that use relative URI imports (for example, I have a relatively complicated WSDL file that imports other WSDL files and schemas using relative URI locations). To solve this problem, I have downloaded all of the files to my local hard drive, and changed the "location" attributes to point to local files. Is there any other solution to this problem?
    2) CR doesn't seem to support circular references within schema files. To solve this problem, I have removed circular references from my local schema files. Of course, my actual web service will still potentially return data structures with these circular dependencies. Is there any other solution to this problem?
    3) CR doesn't seem to support request documents that allow for arrays of elements. For example, my schema allows the user to specify an array of Instruments that should be returned by the web service. In the meantime, I have changed the schema to only specify single instances of the Instrument element in the request. Is there any other solution to this problem?
    4) CR doesn't seem to support empty values for optional attributes that are specified in the schema. So, when the "Enter Values" parameter form appears, I am required to enter values for these attributes, even though they are listed as optional in the schema. To avoid this problem, I have commented out the optional attribute values in the schema. Is there any other solution to this problem?
    5) When the schema specifies that a value is based on a restricted simple (string) type, the CR parameter form shows a drop list with ellipses (...), but the drop list does not contain the enumerated types specified in my schema. Instead, I must manually enter a value. Do you know of any reason why the drop list is not populated?
    6) The SOAP response document from my web service is relatively complicated. So, in the "Data" page of the Standard Report Creation Wizard, each and every XML element level of the response document listed in the schema is shown as a separate entry. If I choose just the top level element ("fetchInstrumentSetResponse"), then very little data is shown on the next page of the wizard (only the ID attribute). But, if I select each and every element type from the response document, CR prompts me for the request document parameters for each row I have selected (I see the same form 30+ times), even though there really should only be a single SOAP request to the web service to return this response document. It seems to be treating each of these elements as a separate "database table", with a different query string for each. Am I using this feature incorrectly?
    If you can point me to somewhere in the documentation that handles this in more detail, that would be great (all I could find were the step-by-step instructions on how to connect to a web service as a data source).
    Thanks!

  • Access to MySql Database in the Web Service

    Hi all,
    In my j2me web service project, i want to access to MySql database in the web service and

    Hi Luis,
    If you see closely, the productID is actually a concatenation of the areaID and the productID. The reasoning here is that a product can be in multiple nodes of the product catalog and one would need to specify the product on a particular node for the direct URL to work.
    On a client site, we came up with a better solution by creating a new FM to retrieve the specific areaID and productID for a product. This FM could be called by extending the webshop. Then a .NET program was written to re-direct a shortened form of the URL to the long URL and therefore the specific product in the product catalog. Eg.: http://yyyyy.com/b2c/b2c/product would be automatically redirected to http://yyyyy.com/b2c/b2c/init.do?shop=<shop name>&areaID=<area Guid>&productID=<product Guid>, something similar to the concept behind "tinyurl.com". A point to remember here is that this would work only for the B2C webshop.
    Hope this helps.
    Cheers,
    Ashok.

  • Problem with CLOB in PLSQL Web Service.

    Hi-
    I have Oracle Package that accepts CLOB as IN parameter and another CLOB as an OUT parameter. I went thru the tutorial in how to publish a database
    PLSQL package as a web service with out any problem. I was able to publish and call successfully my PLSQL web service thru a browser and thru a simple C# application. It's been working fine until I receive an XML file which is bigger than 32766:
    java.sql.SQLException: setString can only process strings of less than 32766 chararacters at oracle.jdbc.driver.DatabaseError.throwSqlException(DatabaseError.java:137)]
    JDeveloper version: JDeveloper 10g (10.1.2.2.0) Build 1929
    Oracle Application Server 10g
    I'm newbie in JDeveloper so any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

    well Shay,
    i've used JDev's tools to developer and to deploy the web service: the war and ear files are automatically generates you to the end of the process.
    I have included all the files java and the compiled classes, but I do not have files jar.
    But don't works: if i create only one java class with all code inside then it works fine!!

    This behavior might be attributed to Axis inclusion.
    Web service actions and wizards supported by Weblogic can be found at:
    File->New->Other->Oracle->WebLogic->Web Services
    Can you provide more detail about your starting point wsdl? or JWS? and information around what generation actions you used?
    Thanks

  • Issue with a complex web service models

    Hello all,
    I have a web service model that has been imported and the strutucture for inbound parameters are complex.
    For the inbound parameters in the mode I have an object with a number of feilds as well a another object in it that is an array.
    Ex.
    DespatchTemplate (0..1)
    --> flightID
    --> DayOfWeek
    --> DespatchTemplateCustomers[] (0..n)
          --> customerId
          --> pc
          --> row
    Now I can return this mode no problem and use it in my web dynpro but I having an issue populate the array object in the model. The flightID and DayOfWeek show up in the debugger of the EJB (driver for the web service) but the DespatchTemplateCustomers is always null.
    I have tried a number of things and I am stuck.
    // Set the flight and dayOfWeel
    wdContext.currentCreateDespatchTemplateElement().setFlightId(
        wdContext.currentDespatchTemplateElement().getFlightId());
    wdContext.currentCreateDespatchTemplateElement().setDayOfWeek(
       wdContext.currentDespatchTemplateElement().getDayOfWeek());
    // Create the model to use in the creation of the element
    ComplexType_DespatchTemplateCustomers model =
       new ComplexType_DespatchTemplateCustomers();
    ICreateDespatchTemplateCustomersElement customer;
    for(int i = 0; i < wdContext.nodeDespatchTemplateCustomer().size(); i++) {
    // Create an element
      customer = wdContext.nodeCreateDespatchTemplateCustomers).
                           createCreateDespatchTemplateCustomersElement(model);
    // Get the customer data from the UI table
      IDespatchTemplateCustomerElement customerElement =
        wdContext.nodeDespatchTemplateCustomer().
            getDespatchTemplateCustomerElementAt(i);
    // Set the flighId and dayOfWeek in the created Element
       customer.setCustomerId(customerElement.getCustomerId());
       customer.setRow(new Integer(customerElement.getRow()));
    // Add the element to the node.
       wdContext.nodeCreateDespatchTemplate().
          nodeCreateDespatchTemplateCustomers().addElement(customer)
    Thanks in advanced,
    Derek

    hi,
    no it's too large.
    i think i have solved my problem,
    originally the name of the web service is setting on v2/SecurityService_
    </wsdl:binding>
    <wsdl:service name="SecurityService">
    <wsdl:port binding="impl:SecurityServiceSoapBinding" name="v2/SecurityService">
    <wsdlsoap:address location="http://dev2008:7001/xmlpserver/services/v2/SecurityService"/>
    </wsdl:port>
    </wsdl:service>
    </wsdl:definitions>
    if i change the name to SecurityService as follow , no error occurs
    </wsdl:binding>
    <wsdl:service name="SecurityService">
    <wsdl:port binding="impl:SecurityServiceSoapBinding" name="SecurityService">
    <wsdlsoap:address location="http://dev2008:7001/xmlpserver/services/v2/SecurityService"/>

  • Web Service Connector Export Issue

    Hi,
    Version: Crystal Xcelsius Designer 4.5
    I have a Crystal Xcelsius dashboard with a Web Service Connector component on it, as well as some graph components.
    When I "Preview" the file, the display works fine and the graph is filled with data obtained through the Web Service Connector.
    However, when I try to "Export" the file, either as .swf, .ppt, etc, there is no sign of the display refreshing, either on load or at intervals. I've tried clicking on the Connector button, but it doesn't appear to be connecting to the data source at all.
    Any help or advice on how to get the exported display working would be appreciated.

    Xcelsius creates the SWF file which is operated through the Flash Player.  Therefore, it uses the security features of the Flash Player that you have installed on the browser.  It is possible that this issue is Flash Security which is preventing access across a different domain.
    This error occurs for one of the following reasons:
    The domain name used in the URL in the web browser and the URL used in the web service configuration in Crystal Xcelsius are not the same.
    Or, if the URL in the web browser uses the domain http://machine1 and the URL in the web service connector uses the domain http://machine1.companyname.com, the SWF refresh will not be successful.
    When running inside a web browser, a Macromedia SWF file cannot access data that is outside the domain in which it was created. To work around this behavior, use a cross-domain policy file to allow the SWF file to access information on the Web Service server that is sitting on the other domain.
    To use the cross-domain policy file:
    1. Create a cross-domain policy file. For details on how to create this file, refer to technote tn_14213 at www.macromedia.com
    2.Copy this file into the root of web application server. For example, for Tomcat, copy the file to 'drive':\Program Files\Business Objects\Tomcat\webapps\ROOT
    For more information about the cross-domain policy file, see Macromedia technote tn_14213 at www.macromedia.com

  • Unable to open connection to MS Access 2013 .accdb file Under WCF Web Service Project Using Windows 8.1 64bit

    I am encountering the following error when trying to connect to an Access 2013 database:
    The 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' provider is not registered on the local machine.
    I have Visual Studio 2013 SP3 running on Windows 8.1 64bit OS which also has Office 2013 installed (which includes MS Access 2013).  My project is a WCF web service using .NET Framework 4.5.1 using any cpu as target.  I have tried reluctantly
    to install the older drivers as described by in the below article:
    https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/1d5c04c7-157f-4955-a14b-41d912d50a64/how-to-fix-error-the-microsoftaceoledb120-provider-is-not-registered-on-the-local-machine?forum=vstsdb
     and also went through the "Add Data Source" wizard in the Project menu to have the connect string automatically built.  Even with the automatically built connect string I can not connect to the .accdb file from within my WCF web service.
    What's odd is if I use the Database Explorer in Visual Studio it has no problem connecting the my Access file.  I inspected the connect string and tried to use it as well but still get the same error. Even stranger is that I have no problem connecting
    to the Access DB in an ASP.NET project on the same PC. I am also able to connect to the Access file using a simple Windows Forms application.  So I'm wondering if it has something to do with trying to connect to the Access file from a WCF web service
    project.
    What I'd like to know is if anyone has been able to get this to work in an environment as I described above as a 64bit WCF web service project?  I tried to switch my project to 32bit but when I do I get a different error which reads:
    System.BadImageFormatException: Could not load file or assembly 'file:
    Almost to the point of trying to get this web service project done with SQL Express but would like to know if it can be done with MS Access 2013.  Any information anyone can provide to help me get past this issue is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Have you installed the 64-bit Access driver on your machine? See
    Data Source Names and 64-Bit Operating Systems for the differences in odbcad32. Call %SystemRoot%\system32\odbcad32.exe to check the drivers.
    How do you host your service? Stand-alone or IIS or embedded to another application? Keep in mind that IIS7 runs it in its application pool which is defaullt 64bit. Thus the bad image exception, when compiling your service as 32bit.
    When you need the Access database for your service to store informtation, then I would switch to SQL Server (Express) or XML files depending on your actual needs.
    Also check whether your account under which your service is run has the necessary NTFS file permissions on the access file and the folder. This is getting even more complex when it's a remote folder.

    Hi,
    I'm struggling with the same problem. One thing I noticed is that your url looks a bit different than others that I've seen:
    Yours:
    url=jdbc:microsoft:sqlserver://192.168.0.22:1433:databaeName=dbname, user=sa
    Most other folks:
    url=jdbc:microsoft:sqlserver://192.168.0.22:1433;databaseName=dbname; user=sa
    Note the semicolons.
    I don't know whether this will help you or not, but it's worth a try.
    Does anyone know where I can get documentation for the options that MS' jdbc driver for SQL Server? I've googled groups and the web and can't find anything authoritative.
