Web Services in CF10, components not found - Java vendor problem?

Is anyone having problems invoking web services in CF10, IIS 7, Java Oracle?  We recently upgraded, and the web services are now returning the following error that the component can't be found:
The web service operation caused an invocation exception.
The root cause was that: coldfusion.runtime.CfJspPage$NoSuchTemplateException: Could not find the ColdFusion component or interface
Should the web service be created in cfadmin?  It won't let me.  I was understanding the calling the webservice from cfinvoke would create the webservice, but it isn't.
Any information outside of the Adobe documentation which I've read would be helpful.
We have this identical file running on four different servers.  It works on two of the four.  The only difference I see in the server settings besides the version of CF and the operating system, is the vendor/version of Java.
1.  CF10, Java Sun, IIS 7.5.7600.16385 - working
2.  CF8, Java Sun - working
3.  CF10, Java Oracle - not working
4.  CF10, Java Oracle, IIS 7.5.7600.16385 - not working
Thank you.

It turns out that it was a directory nomenclature issue.  The directory had a period in it (e.g., domain.org).  Once the period was removed from the directory name, it worked.  For whatever reason, it worked fine in CF8 but not CF10.  I hope this helps someone else.

  • Web services Access Error: 404 -- Not Found

    I'm going through the web service example on the help menu.  The vi is built exactly as required and the deployment works.  Labview is running and the vi is open, but when i start up firefox and go to the url, i get the error "Access Error: 404 -- Not Found".  Any ideas?  Thanks.

    Hi Pojoaque,
    Thanks for the update. Which example is called add?
    Maybe its the address book example, if so, please see this KnowledgeBase article with a known issue with this example - also please double check your configuration of LabVIEW.
    In the VIs you create yourself what are you trying to do?
    Why Does the Address Book RESTful Web Service Project Found in the LabVIEW 8.6 Example Finder Not Work?
    http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/A8830F04188D2835862574AA0059055E?OpenDocument
    If its the VI itself which does work - have you checked your LabVIEW configuration allows access to the webserver for all vis?
    Hope this helps,

  • Jws source file not found (Java client proxy)

    Hi,
    I created a web service in Workshop, and generated a Java proxy from it using the test console. I then wrote a stand-alone Java client to invoke an operation on the web service based on the workshop examples. I'm able to first get the service proxy fine.
    MyService_Impl proxy = new MyService_Impl("http://localhost:7001/MyProcesses/MyService.jws?WSDL=");
    Then, the following line fails.
    MyServiceSoap soapProxy = proxy.getMyServiceSoap();
    Error is a SoapFaultException with message "Source file MyService.jws not found". I don't know where it's looking for the file to begin with. Is there a place where I can control that?
    When I look at the WSDL in the workshop test browser, the soap:address location URL is different from the actual URL in the test browser address bar.
    I'm new to this stuff. Any ideas will help.
    Thanks

    hello folks,
    I have Windows XP home Firefox v1.0.6.
    removed old java in Add/Remove programs.
    cleared the "Temporary Internet Files" folder that contained C:\Documents and Settings\Greg\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5.
    tried to load jre-1_5_0_04-windows-i586-p-iftw.exe for the third time, and the install still hangs up.
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update Installer Information : Error 1311. Scource file not found: C:\Documents and Settings\Greg\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\2XFKL4VY\je150000[1].cab. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.

    here's the thing, I cannot surf to "Content.IE5" folder in my "Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files" folder, but I can plug in the directory in the address bar of Windows Explorer & see the "Content.IE5" folder.
    I do not see "je150000[1].cab" or "je150000[1].cab" in there.
    Am I using the wrong program to fresh install Java for Firefox in XP?
    Is there something wrong with my operating system?
    monitoring this thread.....
    thanx.

  • Oracle.forms.engine.Main not found.java.lang.ClassNotFoundException error

    Hi Members,
    I am getting the oracle.forms.engine.Main not found.java.lang.ClassNotFoundException error when trying to access Oracle forms using APEX 2.2.1 and SSO.
    load:class.oracle.forms.engine.Main not found
    The forms have been compiled, forms path setup properly and the setup required to run forms seems to be right. Jinitiator has also been installed.
    I have searched the forums and tried everything. I have checked jinitiator settings, cleared cache and even reinstalled it. Do you have any experience with this error? Appreciate any answers. Thanks.
    Ravi.

    Dear Friends,
    I was also facing the same problem. to solve this, i have uninstalled Oracle Jinitiator. Cleared all the temporary internet files & cookies. Then while running the form, when it asks to install JInitiator, i have specified a different path for jinitiator, For Example, By default it asks for C:\programfiles, i have changed it to c:\manish directory.
    This has solved my problem. Probably this also help you.

  • CMOS COMPONENTS NOT FOUND

    CMOS COMPONENTS NOT FOUND IN THE DATABASE LIBRARY , HOW CAN IC'S LIKE HEF4051, 4053, 4052 ETC. CAN BE ADDED TO SIMULATE AND USE IN PCB DESIGN. I HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE
    OF SPICE OR VDL

    abc corp,
    There is an existing forums page discussing a 74HC4501... here:
    http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=370&message.id=4268
    If you cannot find an exact spice model for these, you could also try looking for a comparable component in our existing analog switch components - we have CMOS switches with several configurations similar to the HEF4051, 2 and 3.  I am not exactly sure what you are looking at in terms of performance / model comparision but this should get you started.
    From the  Master DB, go to the 'Mixed' group and you will see the appropriate families.
    From a modeling standpoint, you could build an equivalent functional level circuit in Multisim using the ideal analog switch and other ideal logic components.   The ideal switch is located in our 'Mixed_Virtual' family.

  • Exchange web services: why is ItemId not constant? [continued]

    As some others have discuss this problem before (e.g.,
    Exchange web services: why is ItemId not constant?), I want to talk about the solution, I have done what people have suggested by stamping the Guid as an extended property, For me this solution is kind of nice (although I do not know how to make it work
    with the occurrences)  but only as long as the application works, once the application restarts the extended properties of the items disappear, so my problem now, is “How to stamp the extended property on the EWS item and make it constantly there?”
    This is the code of updating the calendar items (appointments)
    public void SetGuidForAppointement(Appointment appointment)
    appointment.SetExtendedProperty((ExtendedPropertyDefinition)_appointementIdPropertyDefinition, Guid.NewGuid().ToString());
    appointment.Update(ConflictResolutionMode.AlwaysOverwrite, SendInvitationsOrCancellationsMode.SendToNone);
    And these are the properties definition needed above.
    _appointementIdPropertyDefinition = new ExtendedPropertyDefinition(DefaultExtendedPropertySet.Appointment, "AppointmentID", MapiPropertyType.String);
    _propertyDefinitionBases = new PropertyDefinitionBase[] { _appointementIdPropertyDefinition, ItemSchema.ParentFolderId, AppointmentSchema.Start, AppointmentSchema.End,
    AppointmentSchema.LegacyFreeBusyStatus, AppointmentSchema.Organizer };
    PropertySet = new PropertySet(BasePropertySet.FirstClassProperties, _propertyDefinitionBases);
    So if anyone has done this before could he/she provide me with an example that keeps the extended property stamped on the item even if the application exited.
    Thanks

    hello, thanks for the reply ... but it did not work .. when I re-run the application and use the following code it returns nothing , as the extended property is not saved in the exchange element. Eventhough I have replaced the "DefaultExtendedPropertySet.Appointment"
    with "DefaultExtendedPropertySet.PublicStrings" and another time with my own Guid.
    public string GetGuidForAppointement(Appointment appointment)
    var result = "";
    var item = (Item)appointment;
    foreach (var extendedProperty in item.ExtendedProperties)
    if (extendedProperty.PropertyDefinition.Name == "AppointmentID")
    result = extendedProperty.Value.ToString();
    return result;
    Can you please send me a small code example ?
    Thanks for your time.

  • Error oracle.forms.engine.Main not found.java.lang.ClassNotFoundException

    Hi all,
    I tried to update oracle_logo.gif in forms jar which is in f90all_jinit jar. I placed my icon in forms\oracle\forms\icons and renamed it as oracle_logo.gif while removing the existing one. Then I did jar the forms and placed that in f90all_jinit and again did jar f90all_jinit. Then, I placed this in ORACLE-HOME/forms90/java. When I tried to run the form...the form could not open and the java console shows this..
    Loading http://<MACHINE_NAME>:8888/forms90/java/f90all_jinit.jar from JAR cache
    load: class oracle.forms.engine.Main not found.java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: java.io.IOException: open HTTP connection failed.     at sun.applet.AppletClassLoader.getBytes(Unknown Source)     at sun.applet.AppletClassLoader.access$100(Unknown Source)     at sun.applet.AppletClassLoader$1.run(Unknown Source)     at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method)     at sun.applet.AppletClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source)     at sun.plugin.security.PluginClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source)     at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)     at sun.applet.AppletClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)     at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)     at sun.applet.AppletClassLoader.loadCode(Unknown Source)     at sun.applet.AppletPanel.createApplet(Unknown Source)     at sun.plugin.AppletViewer.createApplet(Unknown Source)     at sun.applet.AppletPanel.runLoader(Unknown Source)     at sun.applet.AppletPanel.run(Unknown Source)     at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)
    Can anyone guide me on how to get rid of this error ? Strange thing is that I've removed that f90all_jinit.jar and placed back the existing one (I took backup). But still it's showing the same error and not opening the form. I could and can not do anything without this error corrected.
    Please suggest me as soon as possible...
    thank you
    madhu.

  • Follow up to web services question:  How do I expose java components as web services on iPlanet 6.0 app server?

    My task - my company has several legacy PowerBuilder applications that access a variety of Sybase and MS SQL databases. Rather than re-inventing the wheel by re-writing these applications in Java, we would like to enable these applications to call java components (EJBs) that will provide new functionality. I would need a piece of software called CSXtend (from www.cynergysystems.com) to allow PowerBuilder to call a web service. However, I am not sure how to expose my business functions (EJBs) as web services on the iPlanet 6.0 App server. Thanks for all previous responses! Any additional info would be greatly appreciated! Mike

    I have used Glue (http://www.themindelectric.com/products/glue/glue.html) to expose some of our stuff as Web Services. I recently found this on serverside. It's pretty good.
    http://www.theserverside.com/resources/article.jsp?l=Systinet-web-services-part-1
    I believe that the middleware they use can be plugged into IPlanet. There is also an article in the knowledge base on the IPlanet site.

    Ok, this sounds like a known bug ( Bug 5908689 ) in 10.1.3.1, but this was specific to non-Windows platforms. Are you on Linux/Solaris or any other platform? It might or might not be the same problem you are hitting but it does seem quite close (can't say for sure without a close investigation, I am afraid!)
    In any case, this bug is fixed in the 10.1.3.4 patchset (besides quite a few other fixes and enhancements) - so would recommend you to first apply the 10.1.3.4 patchset and retest. The patchset is available on My Oracle Support (formerly Metalink) under Patch 7272722. Or you could go a step ahead, and apply the 10.1.3.5 patchset (Patch 8626084) instead which is the latest patchset for OracleAS 10.1.3.x.

  • Web Service Proxy error: "No operation found using soap keys"

    I'm trying to use the new tools, and having a little trouble. Not many results when searching for this error message.
    I have developed and deployed a new Java web service proxy using the outside-in approach according to the [help docs|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi71/helpdata/EN/46/7f2fef88190ad3e10000000a11466f/frameset.htm] (PI 7.1 SP07, NWDS 7.1 CE SP09 PAT0000). Started with a Service interface in ESR, then generated a java bean skeleton into a new EJB project in NWDS, then wrote business logic and deployed.
    When I test the web service (with 3 different SOAP test clients) I get the same error, below:
         <faultstring>com.sap.engine.services.webservices.espbase.server.additions.exceptions.ProcessException:

    My service endpoint interface looks like this (unimportant lines removed):
    package nexeninc.pi.ll.spmat._100;
    @javax.jws.WebService(name = "SI_I_Sync_SPMAT_JDBC_Receiver_Proxy", targetNamespace = "urn:nexeninc:pi:ll:spmat:100")
    @javax.jws.soap.SOAPBinding(parameterStyle = javax.jws.soap.SOAPBinding.ParameterStyle.BARE, style = javax.jws.soap.SOAPBinding.Style.DOCUMENT, use = javax.jws.soap.SOAPBinding.Use.LITERAL)
    public interface SIISyncSPMATJDBCReceiverProxy {
      @javax.jws.WebMethod(operationName = "SI_I_Sync_SPMAT_JDBC_Receiver_Proxy", action = "http://sap.com/xi/WebService/soap1.1")
      @javax.jws.WebResult(name = "spmat_jdbc_receiver_proxy_response", targetNamespace = "", partName = "spmat_jdbc_receiver_proxy_response")
      public generated.SpmatJdbcReceiverProxyResponse siISyncSPMATJDBCReceiverProxy(@javax.jws.WebParam(name = "spmat_jdbc_receiver_proxy", targetNamespace = "", partName = "spmat_jdbc_receiver_proxy") generated.SpmatJdbcReceiverProxy spmat_jdbc_receiver_proxy);

    (continued from above post)
    And my implementation bean looks like this (unimportant lines removed):
    package nexeninc.pi.ll.spmat._100;
    @SessionHandlingDT(enableSession = false)
    @AuthenticationDT(authenticationLevel = AuthenticationEnumsAuthenticationLevel.BASIC)
    @TransportGuaranteeDT(level = TransportGuaranteeEnumsLevel.NONE)
    @WebService(serviceName = "SI_I_Sync_SPMAT_JDBC_Receiver_Proxy_Service", portName

    = "META-

         public generated.SpmatJdbcReceiverProxyResponse siISyncSPMATJDBCReceiverProxy(
                   generated.SpmatJdbcReceiverProxy spmat_jdbc_receiver_proxy) {
              System.out.println("Starting siISyncSPMATJDBCReceiverProxy.");
    When we first created the new endpoint in NWA, we tried asigning a new name for both "Service Endpoint Name" and "In New Service", and we received this error.
    We then deleted the endpoint and created another new one, setting "Service Endpoint Name" to match the portName in the implementation bean: "SI_I_Sync_SPMAT_JDBC_Receiver_Proxy_Port", but that didn't work either. The only option we enabled in the endpoint was HTTP authentication: User ID/Password.
    My ejb-j2ee-engine.xml and application-j2ee-engine.xml are both empty (but they exist).
    I am new to EJBs and JAX-WS so hopefully it's something simple. All help appreciated!

  • Anyone have trouble connecting to web services with CF10?

    I'm trying to connect to InDesign server running in the same box @ http://localhost:18383/service?wsdl and this gives me the error "Web service operation RunScript with parameters ... cannot be found". I tried toggling web service version in CF admin to 1 and 2. I tried with CF updates, without updates. Tried in a different box, it is the same.
    When I dump my web service object, before invoking the function, it display WSDL structure correctly with all functions in it, including "RunScript". So I guess, create object part worked correctly.
    Uninstalled CF10, Installed CF9 in the same box, it works fine.
    Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there any limitation in TomCat executing web services in a high port (18383)?
    Update:
    I send the SOAP request to InDesign server manually using CFHTTP and it works in CF10. Seems like CF10 somehow did not respect the WSDL instructions.

    Nataliya,
    Is the printer connected to a wireless network?

  • CompilationFailedException consuming web services on CF10

    I am trying to consume webservices on my CF 10 environment.  I keep getting a CompilationFailedException error looking for java/utils.  I have uninstalled CF, uninstalled the jdk, used the bundled jdk, reinstalled jdk 17.0_25 but to no avail.  I tried replacing C:\coldfusion10\cfusion\lib\tools.jar with the same file in the latest JDK as recommended on this forum on earlier releases encountering this error.
    I have pasted the text from coldfusion-out.log but changed the name of the server with the wsdl.
    Any direction is very appreciated.
    Thanks

  • Service Bus 12c Class not found 'oracle.tip.pc.services.functions.ExtFunc'

    Hi,
    Did anyone came across this issue with Class not being found for XSLT Function used in transformer on 12c OSB.
    I'm using oraext:sequence-next-val and have configured as below:
    namespace-uri:http://www.oracle.com/XSL/Transform/java/oracle.tip.pc.services.functions.ExtFunc
    namespace-prefix: oraext
    Not sure why at runtime I'm getting below error, as the same was working fine in 11g OSB Domain.
    XML-22045: (Error) Extension function error: Class not found 'oracle.tip.pc.services.functions.ExtFunc'

    Have you restarted servers after putting jar in $Domain_Home/lib directory? Also try after explicitly adding this jar in classpath by editing server startup script (startManagedWeblogic.cmd or .sh) or in domain env setting script (setDonainEnv.cmd or .sh) and restarting the servers.

  • Web service AddTerms for TaxonomyClientService not working.

    Hello,
    We are trying to get AddTerms method to work in TaxonomyClientService using a web service call (not using the SP client obj model) but the request always returns 500 error. I have compared the headers and body of my request with the Fiddler trace of another
    software which uses the client obj model and they are word-for-word the same.
    A sample one looks like this...
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <soap:Envelope xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
    xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
    xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/taxonomy/soap/">
    <soap:Body><AddTerms xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/taxonomy/soap/">
    <sharedServiceId>c6ea8a52-de1b-4957-814d-69bf312c40f2</sharedServiceId>
    <termSetId>8ef9d5d1-f804-410c-b276-9c6251a74abe</termSetId>
    <lcid>1033</lcid>
    <newTerms>
    <newTerm label="someTerm" clientId="1" parentTermId="1ff4cd4f-6996-409f-8e97-d877079f2449">
    </newTerm>
    </newTerms>
    </AddTerms></soap:Body></soap:Envelope>
    I have made sure that the term set is indeed open and able to add terms. But I can never get past the 500 error. Searching around online it seems
    a great amount of people are having same problems. More people are having success working directly with the client obj model. There seems to be something wrong with the XML schema for direct web service calls?
    Thank you,
    Michael

    Hi Jacob,
    Thanks for the reply.
    I have tried taking the snapshot of data but I am getting blank excel spreadsheet.
    I am using Xcelsius 2008 (or 5.0) version. In components I am using REFRESH button under web connectivity folder.
    Somewhere on internet I have seen Web service button (under Web connetivity folder) in Xcelsius 4.5 version which is used to connect  Xcelsius & SAP system.
    My question is :
    I am not able to find similar button in 2008 version. Is this REFRESH button is doing same work or different.
    Please advice.
    Shamkant
