Webcam Accept button goes away at certain Flash object height

Hi there, I'm having some trouble with webcam on my site. I coded the webcam correctly, even added some code to get by the webcam selection issue people seem to have been having. However in Safari only it seems to have an issue with prompting the user. I noticed if I go to Main.swf directly and view it, it works fine but embedding it into the page seems to break it. UPDATE: I've tracked the issue down to the fact that if I shrink the embed/object size it works but increasing it seems to for some reason break the Allow/Deny button.

The 1009 error indicates that one of the objects being targeted by your code is out of scope. This could mean that the object....
- is not in the display list
- doesn't have an instance name (or the instance name is mispelled)
- does not exist in the frame where that code is trying to talk to it
- is animated into place but is not assigned instance names in every keyframe for it
- is one of two or more consecutive keyframes of the same objects with no name assigned in the preceding frame(s).
If you go into your Publish Settings Flash section and select the option to Permit debugging, your error message should have a line number following the frame number which will help you isolate which object is involved.
If removing that code makes the error go away, then chances are your BtnHome_mc does not exist in the frame where that code executes (for any of the possible reasons identified).

Can there be buttons/links on or in flash object?

Hi, I have no idea how to ask this question properly. I am only designing this, not making it, so simple answers for me would be good, but also technical answers that I can pass on to the flash person.
On my home page, I am going to have 3 images that switch out, each that need to have a "learn more >" link and a 1, 2, 3, and pause buttons.
My question is whether or not these image buttons/links can be placed on or embedded in the flash object. I read this is not possible and that buttons or links have to be separate from flash. Ideally if I wanted to place a "go" button on top of my flash image, that would be great.
However I have been told the only option is to make one side of this in photoshop where I have the buttons and then place that next to the flash image. My example of this would be the msn.com home page.
If further descriptions are needed I can post an example.

Your image hasn't loaded yet, so I'll describe what you should do. Chances are you will only need one set of buttons to manage everything rather than creating a set for each image.
If you want to convert each of these items into usable buttons, then select one of them, being sure that all its pieces are selected, then right click on it and select Convert to Symbol ( select it and in the toolbar choose Modify -> Convert to Symbol).
In the interface that appears, select Button (you could also select MovieClip, but for now, select Button) and give it a name that relates to its functionality in some way, just so it is recognizable by its name in the library. Click OK.
Do that for all of the items you want to turn into buttons. To make things easier to manage, you should place the buttons on their own layer in the timeline.
If you are handing this over to someone who knows Flash, they should be able to deal with coding the buttons to function the way you want.

I was reading another person changed their storage settings And I remember I had to do something with my manager so I went back to the flash manager to check my settings and I CANT SEE IT! It is a blank space......Please help.

That's a common problem reported with the newest driver updates which "support" both XP and Vista. Rollback to earlier drivers or search the Forums for "Daniel K" drivers.

User Agreement Flashes...then goes away :( PLZ HELP ME

hey everyone,
I got a new video 30 gig ipod for x-mas... and i re-downloaded itunes and itll download but then when i click on itunes, the user agreement flashes for a second and then goes away. I see a few other people have had this problem but no one seems to have an answer... ive deleted/reinstalled itunes literally 17 times now and it still wont work and im getting very frustrated and tired and im out of ideas... please help me somebody~~!!

Sorry I knew I forgot something lol. Yes I have checked the processes tab and it does not have anything open. I haven't watched it to see if it flashes away but I would assume so because when I pull the start tab it shows i tunes as one of the recently used programs. Currently not running an anti virus program. The anti virus programs interfere with my online games. I do use ad aware from time to time. Charlottonian sounds good lol. Try the standard trouble-shooting steps: Restart, Reset, Restore. If these don't solve the issue then you may have a hardware probem. If so, contact Apple Support.
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after the iPhone shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). Ignore the "Slide to power off"
Restore: Use iTunes on your computer to Restore your iPhone to as new.

App to auto move the cursor to "Continue" and "Accept" buttons?

I don't know what to search for in the archives, but wondering if anyone knows of an app that will automatically move the cursor to the "Continue" and "Accept" buttons when installing or having to enter passwords. Though I'm not a big Windows fan, I do appreciate the option to have the cursor automatically moved to the default option when the user is asked to acknowledge something with a mouse click... particularly on a portable computer. I'm looking for something that reduces scrolling around to the box and places the cursor right there. Some might see this as lazy, so feel free to joke away Perhaps this feature is built-in to OSX and I just don't know how to access it... honestly I can't imagine why it isn't an option, but maybe there's a good reason. Thanks for any suggestions.

macjack, yes for the occasions when the default item is in blue then I just use enter. Often, the selections like "Continue" are not in blue however. Also, I'm still hopeful there's an app that will let me keep my hand on the mouse... mostly helpful with my macbookpro. Again, certainly feels a bit lazy when I describe it. But, seems like a feature that would be nice... have the cursor/arrow auto-point to the default or most commonly used option so you just "click" to keep going.

This is not the first time it has rebooted. It has done so every so often since I had it. It has been occuring more often over the past few months and its not that uncommon to here of random reboots, I read through some of the threads about reboots and it either one thing or another and its not always the same apps that cause it, some have reboots with. Camera, I had them with led appps like droid light and led light. I still had reboots after uninstalling those apps. I read that people say its usually the apps that cause the problems but which ones. What ever it is one thing seems to be consistent is that the phone hangs or freezes and then reboot. There are always updates for apps, maybe some of the problems are with the device itself. Hope the next android version for the x fixes the reboot issues that has been happening. I know all phone will have some bugs and flaws and there will never be a perfect worry/problem free phone, that's what updates are for. The problem is some, if not all, manufacturers and carriers are slow to update their devices. Don't get me wrong im not bashing the x or Verizon because both have been good for me. I've had better than average service as far as network connectivity and the x is an overall great phone. If it is apps that cause most of the problems I would like to know which ones someone I cab stay away from them, sometimes the comments in the market are helpful but not always. Like the phone and can't see myself with any other phone, at least until the new phone with gingerbread come out or hopefully a gingerbread update for the droid x, not going to hold my breath

After accessing my iTunes account I was not able to change anything like my credit card number when I tried and was sent right to the 'Your session has timed out. Try again.'
The last time I purchased any anything was on September 25th 2011 and the 'terms & conditions' page was last updated on October 12, 2011

I am having the same problem also! I posted on here about it, but no one has responded with ideas. I called technical support and e-mailed them, the only suggestions they gave was for the to turn off my firewall. But I didn't change anything, so it shouldn't suddenly stop working. Maybe this is just an iTunes issue? But it doesn't even recognize my account anymore, and I cannot log in now.
If you happen to get an answer, will you please let me know what works for you?

"Accept" button says I need to purchase app, but doesn't say how

I purchased a new MacBook Pro in January. I setup accounts for myself (admin), son, and daughter (both Mac OS X users and Apple IDs). Yesterday I noticed from my Apple ID that the App Store said iMovie and iPhoto needed to be updated. I tried updating them, but it said they were purchased from another Apple ID, and I had to upgrade using that Apple ID. I logged into my son's Apple ID, ran App Store, and sure enough he had "Installed" them 4 weeks ago, along with GarageBand. I'm guessing this install was actually an upgrade since they came pre-installed on the machine. However, I'm not sure how this happened. He's downloaded other games, but doesn't recall ever updating anything.
In any case at this point what I want to do is disassociate these apps from my son's Apple ID so I can control their upgrade from my Apple ID. I tried deleting them from the LaunchPad. However, for GarageBand this left it in a state where I need to purchase it for $14.99. For iMovie and iPhoto, when I search for them for purchase, they are displayed with an "Accept" button rather than an "Install" button. When I click on "Accept" I get the following message:
"These apps cannot be accepted by your Apple ID.
These apps were already assigned to another Apple ID, and they will be available in that Apple ID's Purchases list. If you don't have access to that Apple ID and want to receive future updates, you will need to purchase the applications."
Problem is I can't find any way to purchase them from my Apple ID. How do I change the "Accept" button to a "Purchase" button?
BTW, I also tried deleting the apps and restoring from an old Time Zone backup, but still had the same problem. There's some database on the machine that associates these apps with my sons AppleID even though originally the came pre-installed.

Thanks for the info. Seems kind of messed up though. Why would Apple let any random user of a machine control all future upgrades of critical apps. I guess perhaps my admin password was needed at some point, which my son has. Still, seems this is something you should be able to undo.
I'm starting to get a clearer pictures of what's going on. These 3 apps are part of iLife 11 and normally cost $14.95 each. They come pre-installed on new machines, but it looks like at some point you need to associate this "purchase" with an Apple ID, and can only associate it with one Apple ID. Thus they are now irrevocably associated with my son's Apple ID.
However, if I wanted to shell out the money, it seems I should be able to tell this particular mac to forget everthing it knows about the purchase of these apps, and re-purchase them from another Apple ID. Although I doubt I'd do that at this point, if I by a 2nd Mac and properly associated these apps with my Apple ID on this 2nd mac, I should then be able to use this "purchase" to download the apps to the first mac I'm having a problem with. However, currently I can't even see a way to do this. Is there some App Store cache I can trash so App Store no longer knows which apps were installed by which Apple ID?

Yes your cabinet 10 on the Crediton exchange has already been installed and linked with a FTTC DSLAM cabinet (making it able to provide FTTC fibre broadband) and has been Accepting FTTC orders since December 2013. PCP10 (with it's DSLAM cabinet within 100meters of it) is locate on the junction of Commercial Road and the A3072.
However by the looks of things your are just too far away to obtain a FTTC (VDSL2) connection, meaning FTTC fibre broadband is not available to you.

Nokia 6120 Classic Accept button not working

I have a Nokia 6120 Classic and is not working fine. I have decided to change my mobile.
Before change my mobile I want to backup all my data and telephone numbers. The problem is that Accept button is not working correct. When I start my mobile I can enter pin number but after this I can't enter the date because I have to use Accept button (the one in the top left). Is there any possibility to skip entering date? This is the only wey to enter mobile and backup my data

I was going to take it to Nokia care but duh? Should the button stop working suddenly? Without anything wrong also the same with the camera button also I'm not the first one to have this problem right? Then its not our problem but its Nokia's I thought there's another solution, but yeah I'm making angry posts can you just make good products? I see all the people complaint about that button **bleep**, you better not talk while maybe the problem from th company.

Flash objects (images/buttons/etc) does not display on some PC's

I am trying to deploy an out of the box web application called the Mid-Tier, where some forms/pages in the application have embedded flash images/buttons/icons that do not display on IE despite the fact that there is Flash installed on these PC's. Most of the PC's are XP.
I suspect it is some of the security settings in IE. Unfortunately security options are disabled to end users so I cannot even get to see what these settings are..
This web application works perfect on some test PC's that have default browser settings and the same flash version installed.
The flash objects appear on these screens as white boxes instead of some control buttons and icons that should have been displayed.,. Hence these pages are non functional.
Any hints?

To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.

#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.
