WebCenter Retail Micro Apps Sampples - Item Create Error

Hi All,
I'm looking a help regarding one of the Micro Apps Sample for WebCenter, the micro app is Item Create.
I'm able to get the micro app added to a page in Webcenter.
When I try to use the App to create an Item everything goes right until I click "Create" button.
The error is: ERROR - Error ORA-06531: Reference to uninitialized collection returned by program unit RMSSUB_ITEM_SQL.CREATE_ISC
Does anyone have run to this error?

"I am using JDeveloper Studio Edition Version 11.1.2.1.0"
That's your problem. Yo uare using JDev R2 while WebCenter cannot be used with that version of JDeveloper.
You need to download JDev 11.1.1.5 and use the extension project for 11.1.1.5 and NOT 11.1.1.2 or .3 because they are completly different!

Hi All,
I am trying to install the Retail MicroApps available for WebCenter.
Versions that I am using are:
-WebCenter v11.1.1.3.0
-JDeveloper v11.1.1.3.0, updated with the required updates.
-ExtendWebCenterSpaces PS2
And I've tryed to install the Retail MicroApps Samples available in the following patches:
- p10632792_131_Generic
- p11841860_131_Generic
- p12422336_131_Generic
I am able to add the JAR file to the CustomWebCenterSpacesWAR project and to add the call in the CustomResourceCatalog.
I am also able to run clean-stage to generate the WAR file and also run deploy-shared-lib to deploy the new WAR file in the Server.
Everything goes well untill I add the new MicroApp to a page using the Page->Edit->Add Content-> New MicroApp
at this time I get the following error:

Not knowing what is the problem I've tryed to build my own MicroApp following the tutorial available in Metalink.
After building it an running it locally with sucess I've deployed it to WebCenter with sucess, it was required a few changes around Database Connections but it is working.
Does anyone knows or already faced this error?
I am using WebCenter v11.1.1.3.0, is this versioning related?
For example the MicroApps not being developed in the version that I am using?

Hi, have you tried pulling out the memory card to check if the phone works without it? - Turn it off, pull the card out, and tunr it back on. Check the behavior of the phone.
If the phone works fine without the card, it's likely that the card is causing the problem.
Connect the card to pc using a card reader and format the card. Put the formatted card in your phone while the phone is turned off. Turn on the phone.
Now do not transfere anything to the card, but format the card again with the 5800's built in format client.
Reboot the phone and you should hopefully be good to go and start using the phone as mass storage - transfering music, pics etc to it.
If the card still seems to screw everything up, try a spare card if you have one. - If that works, then the card you first tried is the problem.
If every card is making issues, I would first try to update the phone fw and then do a soft reset on the phone. - But we can get back to that if these first steps does not work. - In fact there could be issues with your phone's hardware as a worst case. - THen only a Nokia care point can help you.
Good luck and please get back here to seek more help or tell if you got it working again.

Do not create a new iTunes account... accounts cannot be merged.
Install iTunes on the new computer.
Syncing of iDevices does not import content to a computer, the sync is one way from computer to iDevice.

Hi All,
I have configured my environment to be able to create custome Access Apps by using this guide:

I have followed everything to the letter (except the "Configure for Apps" optional section as I had already done this).
However whenever I try to create a new Access App I get the "Your app is being created but it isn't ready to be used yet." message and if I browse to the site contents of the url I am targeting it shows the app as installing but it will never complete.
The logs don't give much more information than what is in the message displayed except the following entry:
MossPackageManager.InstallPackage: Timeout before installation completed for the SPApp '94d0d6b0-cfd7-4ab6-8c7e-403ea6db0231'. Elapsed time: '1' minutes
Is there anything that I may have missed/configured incorrectly?

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you could not create the Access app.
Based on the log message, some service application may not be created well.
You should double check whether the following service applications had been created well.
Access Services
Access Database Service 2010
App Management Service
Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Subscription Settings Service
Secure Store Service

While Creating Sales order Item pricing error is coming........

I have just given all values in VA01 not saved at tht time and before saving i go the Extras -->Output ---> Header -> Print Preview----> i got the form then i back to the screen ... now i save sales order but it giving error " Item Pricing error" if i click on item pricing error button it goes to the sap first screen.

May be fault items where there is no pricing or so.
Check all items and reprice them before save. if they are ok then go to MV45AFZZ and check save document prepare and save document user exits for the message. Also check form and print program.
Last but not least, get the message number and class for the message then go where used list for that message.
Mostly, this message is populated in user exits.

Crystal xi app terminates with no errors

I've installed Crystal XI Professional on a Windows 2003 R2 SP1 server. I am migrating reports from Crystal Reports 8.5 to Crystal XI on this server. I only have Crystal XI installed on the server, though. When I first attempted to open the reports the detail screen of the reports came up, but when I attempted to preview the reports the app closed with no errors. I have very few reports that were visible without being rebuilt. So this is what I've done to determine the problem:
1. I rebuilt a report from scratch in XI. The report had 3 subreports in it. Still not able to preview.
2. I applied Service Packs 1-4 and 2 hot fixes to the app. Now I was able to preview the main report and one very simple subreport. If I tried previewing the other 2 subreports the app would close. If I tried navigating to the subreport within the main report by paging over the app closed once it got to the page containing the subreport.
3. I separated the subreport and began to dissect it one piece at a time to see where it could be failing. I didn't get anywhere closer to the answer this way.
4. I created the subreport from scratch one field, etc. at a time. I first added a field and a simple formula to report expert. The report ran fine, and the correct data was viewable. Then I saved. Then I added another field and a date factor to the report expert formula, refreshed, and it was perfect. I saved it. Then I added 2 more fields, refreshed, perfect, so I saved. Then I added to the report expert formula a phrase that basically says to look for this particular field if 0.00 is not in it. The field is a number field, and this is how it is set up on the report in 8.5. After I added this and refreshed, the application closed. I didn't save the report before I refreshed it, so that portion wasn't saved with the report when it crashed. I reopened the report after the app closed on me, but I couldn't view the preview section just the detail section. The app continued to close each time I clicked on preview. This was the same report I was just previewing. This is what I discovered...
5. I was able bring up the details section of the report, just not able to preview it without the app closing. So, I deleted all the fields and started from scratch again. This time I saved & closed the app between each change. What I discovered is that once I save and close the app, I am not able to view the report in the preview section. The app closes each time.
Since I've applied all Service Packs and fixes, I'm not sure what else to do. I know this is lengthy, but I wanted you to fully understand what was going on. Please help, if you can.

Please provide the following information:
1)Did you manually un-install and then install Crystal reports again.
If no,then please try that first.
To manually un-install remove CR from Add and Remove and then remove the keys(if any) from the registry editor which are related to CR.
2)Are you able to open/create and preview the reports on any other machine except this one.
If yes, then would suggest you to copy all the set-up files from that machine to this machine and then try again to preview the reports.
3)What are the other softwares/packages instaleed on this machine.I mean any .Net dev environment kind of thing.
4)Are you able to preview the reports properly on the machine where 8.5 was installed(in CR 8.5).If not tried then could you please try to install CR XI on this machine and check.

After the update to Android 5.0.1 my Galaxy Gear S will not install apps, I get an error message that says "Installation Failed. Try Later. (WO:WO:-1002)

After the update to Android 5.0.1 on my Galaxy Note 4, my Galaxy Gear S will not install apps, I get an error message that says "Installation Failed. Try Later. (WO:WO:-1002). I am glad it was a free app I was trying to install (I tried a couple of different ones to see if it was just a bad app and they all failed on the install. The Note 4 and the Gear S seem to be communicating okay via bluetooth (health stuff syncs, Gear S controls the music player on the note 4 Etc. )

Everything that I had installed previously on the gear S still works.
Everthing while in the gear manager seems to be working okay also. I can make changes in the Gear manager on the note 4 and they show up on the gear S. I have an app called watch styler , it let me create a new watch on the Note 4 and that showed up on the Gear S.
The only thing that seems to be not working is installing new apps.
When trying to get a new app it looks like it is working as normal , the dowload shows it is working but it errors out when it goes to install it.

Unable get the bean in Controller of the item created through OAF Personalization

Hello Folks,
I have a requirement to create an Static Styled Text item through OAF Personalization and that item should be shown if it meets some particular condition.
So I tried to extend the controller of the page and tried to get the reference of the bean but I am not getting the bean in the controller class.
I have seen the main page and some external regions are there in the page.
Main Page has the controller attached in its page layout region and other regions don't have any CO attached.
Whenever I create the item it is under that particular region.
When I try to access some seeded item created under that region and I am able to get the bean in the controller but not the one created by me.
Here is the scenario:
Suppose Page Name is TestPG, it includes some external region like XyzPG, whenever I create the item it gets created under XyzRN with name XyzRN.item1 but whatever seeded items are there those are there with name item2,item3 etc. For item2, item3 I am able to get the bean but not not for XyzRN.item1 in the controller.
Could you please tell me how to get the bean for XyzRN.item1 in the main page controller.
Please reply soon. Its urgent.

a) In your base page controller, try to get bean instance of child embeded region top ui element.
b) Now use this bean instance to find child region instance from your base page CO
But it didn't work for me :-( :'(

Calendar, Task items created on phone no longer sy...

After working without error for months, I find Calendar and Task items created on my Nokia E71 are no longer being synced to Outlook.
I cannot figure out what's changed and I'm not sure how to troubleshoot the problem.
Items created in Outlook are syncing fine with the phone.
Outlook 2007
Windows Vista Ultimate Edition x64
Nokia PC Suite 7.1.40.6 Sync set to update in both directions.
Nokia E-71-2 (NAM edition) 400.21.013
Both USB and Bluetooth connections yield the same result.
None of the above specifications have changed between the time syncing occured correctly, and now.
Are there any suggestions as to how to troubleshoot this problem?

This is a major problem, been going on for years (well over a year).
The advice to go to iSync and "Reset Sync History" (in the Preferences) seems to be required. It appears that iTunes uses the iSync history information even though you don't use iSync with the iPhone. (iTunes should have a similar button in its preferences, I think).
Unfortunately, "necessary" is not always sufficient. Before I could get mine working again, I created a new calendar on iCal, did a sync, then used the Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendar on the iPhone to tell the phone to put newly created events into that new calendar, and did another sync. Now it is working. (my calendars were named "@home", "@work" etc. and I created a new one "work" and used the one without the special character - who knows, perhaps there is a character filter for security reasons)

Publishing Universal App - An unexpected network error has occurred

Each time that we tried to "Associate App with Store" or Create App package" via Visual Studio 2013 to publish our Windows Phone 8.1 Universal app, we have the error "An unexpected network error has occurred. the app list cannot be refreshed.
Please retry by pressing the refresh button".
Our account has more 100 WP apps, and we saw that it could be the problem?
With Silverlight app, it was easy to generate a XAP. But now with Universal Apps, due to this issue, we are blocking! Please Microsoft, can you correct this bug?

I have been struckling with the same problem. Copying large data amounts between my MacBook and my Airdisk works perfectly (though slowly).
But copying data amounts larger than about 300MB from my XP to my airdisk suddenly stops with the error you get. Hereafter I cannot access the airdisk until I have re-started both my AEBS and my 500GB LaCie HFS+ formatted disk drive.
I use the new 7.1.1 firmware version in my AEBS.
Have you solved your problem?

I'm finding the below mentioned error while I'm saving assignment with Salary Basis, Location and Payroll.
APP-PAY-06153: System Error : Procedure pay_us_emp_dt_tax_rules.insert_fed_tax_row - ORA-20001: &1 element does not exist or has not linked to pay at step 4.
Please note that I am able to save the record if I do not any one of Salary Basis, Location. Payroll. It is basically happening on creating default tax.
Can anyone pleas let me know if you have facing the above error and resolved?

When upgrading an app - the "invalid binary" error... any suggestions?

While upgrading an existing app, I'm getting the notorious:
The binary you uploaded was invalid. The signature was invalid, or it was not signed with an Apple submission certificate.
error.
I've gone through everything step-by-step and did all sorts of forum searches, but I can't seem to find a solution to this.
Some particulars:
1. I do have the distribution certificate in my keychain, and it appears to be associated with my certificate as the agent. The provisioning profile is also visible in the Xcode organizer, with no "yellow warnings" about there not being an identity associated with it or anything like that.
2. When building (and doing all the cleaning of targets etc.) the Code Signing for the target is set to iPhone Distribution: mycompany name, which is properly selectable from the popup menu.
3. The build succeeds and I check the build results and CodeSigning is in there, as well as the embedded provisioning profile and the app name is correct.
4. Examining the created package contents, Code Signing is in there as well, and also the embedded provisioning profile.
5. The app ID I used for the distribution provisioning profile is the same app ID I used for the original app. However I did create a new distribution provisioning profile because certs had expired and I changed the name of the distribution provisioning profile. But the distribution cert is now up-to-date and the app ID is the same as it always was.
6. It's not anything like an invalid Icon.png or anything like that, because that didn't change from the original version. This is just an update.
7. The developer provisioning profile works fine and I can load and run the app on my iPhone.
If anybody has any ideas I would be grateful. I've been in code signing h*ll for two days now.

I can't believe it, but after multiple-days of Code-Signing h*ll I fixed it! The app is now uploaded and 'in review".
For those interested in my solution, here is what I did.
I opened up the .xcodeproj package for a previous app we have in the app store (let's call it OtherApp) and then opened up project.pbxproj in BBEdit and looked at the sections for "Distribution" and they looked like this:

So (after backing up the current version) I:
(1) deleted the 2nd "PROVISIONING_PROFILE" line (which is the developer provisioning profile - so I don't know what will happen now if I try to load it on my iPhone);
(2) cleaned targets;
(3) built again and the new compressed version uploaded!
Side-note not directly related to the above problem, but of technical interest:
I got another error at the next itunesconnect page saying that the "bundle identifier needed to be the same as the previous version". That was easy to fix though. I went back into Xcode and changed the bundle identifier from com.myactualcompanyname.${PRODUCT_NAME:identifier} back to com.yourcompany.${PRODUCT_NAME:identifier} (the original default value) which was the way we accidentally left it when we first built it in September. (It was our first app, so that snuck by us.) So apparently you can never adjust that once you upload an original app and have forgotten to change "yourcompany" for your actual company name. That's not so important though, and wasn't what was blocking being able to upload the app.
Anyway, it now uploaded successfully and is "in review"!
Clearly "something happened" to the project.pbxproj file between the time the app was first created in September and when the SDK was updated after that.
But it's in review now!
