Weblink - Report

I created a report based on Service request History subject area and picked Service Request#, Status, Priority and External System Id of the Dealer object.Then I added the filter to the field External System ID as "Is Prompted".
Then I created a Web Applet on Account page and specfied the URL as
https://secure-ausomxhna.crmondemand.com/OnDemand/user/analytics/saw.dll?Go&Path=%2Fshared%2FCompany_AAPA-1TO90F_Shared_Folder%2FCustomer+Request+Reports%2FCR-Account&Action= Navigate&P0=1&P1=eq&P2=Dealer.%22External+System+Id%22&P3=%%%External_System_Id%%%
What I am trying to do here is display any service requests associated with an account on the account detail page and the parameter I am passing is the External Unique Id of the account.

Hi,
First, Users must have sufficient priviliges - Access dashboard, access pre build reports, manage custome reports etc.
Second you please check wheather the report which you have created is shared in the shared folder and the user who are trying to access the report should have access rights to that shared folder.
It might help you to find out what the problem is?

  • Weblink report to Opportunity record not working

    Hi everyone,
    I have a strange one for you.
    A weblink report from the Opportunity detail screen link to a report that displays fields from the relevant Account and Opportunity detail screen.
    As an admin, I can run the report no problem. However the reps that owns both the Opportunity and the Account is unable to run the report.
    Roles and Profiles look as they should to me but I must be missing something.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance

  • Very Very Urgent...Printing problem please help me.....

    Hi there,
    Today, i struggled with one printing problem. can anybody help me please!. We are preparing reports using reports 10g. I created a report with orientatin of Landscape and Paper size is 11.5*8.5 that is A4 size and right margin 0.2 left margin with 0.2 and top and bottom margins with 0.5.Report output is correctly coming in report builder runtime. Now the actual problem is, this report must linked to one server for example http://xx.xx.xxxx.main.html.we linked the report generated by me to this link.
    when i run the report using this weblink, report is displayed in htmlcss(i opted) perfectly,now user can take the printout of this report by clicking print from file menu. The actual problem i faced is when i run this report in html link report is correctly displaying but paper size is letter and page margin are right 0.75 and left 0.75 defualtly. When i print the report with these setings date is truncating when user takes printout in html. User don't know the page margins i.e right o.2 both left and right (actually in report builder). So he cant adjust it correctly in file menu pagesetup in html page.He simply click print and it should come as with report builder margin settings. To solve this i change the default preferences in control panel ---printers, but no use. Is it possible to pass margins both right,left and top bottom margins as runtimeparameters in url of the this report. Is there any alternative way.
    Please do reply urgent, becoz since this is my clients urgent requirement,help me
    Thanks and regards
    thanx in advance.

    Hi,
    Though HTMLCSS pages are created using the same page margins that you specify in the report definition, the problem may become more clear to you if you try to create PDF files instead of HTMLCSS. Set DESFORMAT=pdf, and see the output PDF file in Acrobat Reader. Do you see the margins that you want, or is the problem still the same? If you don't see the correct margins even in the PDF file, it probably means you need to modify your report definition to get the margins you want.
    In case you see the correct margin in PDF output, it means that your report design is fine. The problem is with printing. In that case, I think what other people have suggested you is true - probably the printable area for your particular printer is less than what you want.
    I'm afraid I may not be the best person to specify the printer or OS settings. Please consult your printer vendor.
    The other option may be to get output in PDF format, and print PDF files.
    Navneet.

  • Need help with Formating a report referenced by a Weblink field

    Hi,
    I have created a report and a field that's a weblink. The field on accounts references the report I've created so that it only returns information on that account and not all accounts in Siebel.
    Now.. the report is formatted in a sequential fashion as most basic reports are formatted.. ex.
    Account Name Number Address City State etc.
    aaaaaa 2222 23 Main NY NY
    I want it to be formatted in a table and not horizontal. Is this possible?
    Like:
    Account Name Number
    aaaaaa 2222
    Address City State etc.
    23 Main NY NY

    Hi !
    On the second step of report design, click on Add view and then Narrative.
    In the narrative part paste the following (it's only an example, you'll have to modify it to fit your needs) :
    <table border="1" cellpadding="5">
    <tr bgcolor="#6666FF">
    <td>Account Name</td><td>Account Location</td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td>@1</td><td>@2</td>
    </tr>
    <tr bgcolor="#6666FF">
    <td>Address</td><td>City</td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td>@3</td><td>@4 @5</td>
    </tr>
    </table>
    This assume that you selected column 1 to 5 with the appropriate datas...

  • Report weblink prompt row id - Custom Object

    I am trying to run a report on a custom object and want to prompt the row id for the custom object. I can't seem to get it to filter with the prompt. I don't know if I need to reference the row id field by Custom Object 1.Row Id or by the renamed custom object. Here is my syntax so far.
    https://secure-ausomxgea.crmondemand.com/OnDemand/user/ReportIFrameView?SAWDetailViewURL=saw.dll?Go&Path=%2fshared%2fCompany_AGEA-108HQA_Shared_Folder%2fEC-Agenda+v3&Action=Navigate&P0=1&P1=eq&P2=Custom+Object+1.%22Row+Id%22&P3=AGEA-1510WX

    I changed the end to make the weblink
    https://secure-ausomxgea.crmondemand.com/OnDemand/user/ReportIFrameView?SAWDetailViewURL=saw.dll?Go&Path=%2fshared%2fCompany_AGEA-108HQA_Shared_Folder%2fEC-Agenda+v3&Action=Navigate&P0=1&P1=eq&P2="Custom Object 1".ROW_ID&P3=%%%ID%%%
    The built link is
    https://secure-ausomxgea.crmondemand.com/OnDemand/user/ReportIFrameView?SAWDetailViewURL=saw.dll?Go&Path=%2fshared%2fCompany_AGEA-108HQA_Shared_Folder%2fEC-Agenda+v3&Action=Navigate&P0=1&P1=eq&P2=%22Custom+Object+1%22.ROW_ID&P3=AGEA-15AJ1L
    The report is now filtered!!
    I really appreciate the help as I knew it had to be something small. I will note that the field name can be taken exactly out of the function from the column in the report.

  • Weblinks and Reports/Analytics

    Hello,
    I'm wondering whether there is any difference between weblinks to reports from analytics versus reports.
    The following weblink (<strong>historical data</strong>) that works fine:
    {color:#000000}//secure-ausomxbja.crmondemand.com/OnDemand/user/ReportIFrameView?SAWDetailViewURL=saw.dll?Go%26Path%3D%252fshared%252fCompany_XXX_Shared_Folder%252fSales%2bRep%2bFolder%252f{color:#0000ff}Transition%2bImplementation%2bReport%2bContextual1&AnalyticReportName=Transition+Implementation+Report+Contextual1{color}&Action=Navigate&P0=2&P1=eq&P2=Opportunity{color}."Opportunity ID"&P3=%%%Row_Id%%%&Options=f
    This one however (<strong>real time data</strong>) churns around then returns all records rather than just the details for the particular Opp.:
    https:
    //secure-ausomxbja.crmondemand.com/OnDemand/user/ReportIFrameView?SAWDetailViewURL=saw.dll?Go%26Path%3D%252fshared%252fCompany_XXX_Shared_Folder%252fSales%2bRep%2bFolder%252f{color:#0000ff}Transition%2bImplementation%2bReport%2bContextual1&AnalyticReportName=Transition+Implementation+Report+Contextual1{color}&Action=Navigate&P0=2&P1=eq&P2=Opportunity."Opportunity ID"&P3=%%%Row_Id%%%&Options=f
    Any ideas reports gurus out there?
    Thanks in advance

    Thanks for your quick post, Mike.
    I modified the weblink to:
    secure-ausomxbja.crmondemand.com/OnDemand/user/ReportIFrameView?SAWDetailViewURL=saw.dll?Go%26Path%3D%252fshared%252fCompany_XXX_Shared_Folder%252fSales%2bRep%2bFolder%252fTransition+Implementation+Report+Contextual1&AnalyticReportName=Transition+Implementation+Report+Contextual1&Action=Navigate&P0=1&P1=eq&P2=Opportunity.%22Opportunity ID%22&P3=%%%Row_Id%%%&Options=f
    ... same thing. Churns and then returns all data. Both reports have Oppty ID as prompt. Is there anything else I can try?
    By the way, this is the link to the one that works:
    secure-ausomxbja.crmondemand.com/OnDemand/user/ReportIFrameView?SAWDetailViewURL=saw.dll?Go%26Path%3D%252fshared%252fCompany_XXX_Shared_Folder%252fSales%2bRep%2bFolder%252fTransition%2bImplementation%2bReport%2bContextual&Action=Navigate&P0=2&P1=eq&P2=Opportunity."Opportunity ID"&P3=%%%Row_Id%%%&Options=f

  • Adding a dynamic weblink that pulls an image into a report

    I am trying to create a report that pulls an image from a Sharepoint site (http) based a field value that is also in the report. It is an image of a product that shows based on the product number/unique ID.
    I have the dynamic link working within a weblink in the record detail, but now I'd like to pull the image to show within a report. I am not a technical person, so not really sure even where to start. Any assistance is appreciated.
    Thanks!

    It's an HTML code - you may want to check up with your web development team.
    If you need to put an image on an HTML page you put the HTML code <img src="angry.gif" alt="Angry face" />where angry.gif is the file name of the image on your web server and alt is the name you want to show in the background if someone is accessing this image from a place with poor network connection - as you know to download an image it takes more time than showing up text.

  • Disabling a weblink within a report

    In accounts, I have a report(Dues) which reports on fields in CO1.
    There is a weblink to launch another report (Past Due Details), within the report 'Dues', which reports on fields in CO2.
    I wish to either:
    1. Disable the weblink within report 'Dues', if one of the fields(Total Past Due), within the same report contains the value '0.00'.
    or
    2. pass the value of 'Total Past Due' (when clicking on the weblink) so that it displays a blank report or a report with an error message.
    I hope someone can help me out with this 'roadblock'....

    Hi Rod,
    just to make sure that I understood you correctly.
    You have a report with a row selector and NO default ApplyMRU process. Instead you have written a process (on submit - after comp and validation) with the code you posted, where you now try to insert into another table than the report is based on. Correct? If so, you where already close with your solution.
    BEGIN
        FOR i IN 1.. HTMLDB_APPLICATION.G_F01.COUNT LOOP
            INSERT INTO PL_ALB_IMGS VALUES (PL_ALB_IMGS_SEQ.nextval, HTMLDB_APPLICATION.G_F01(i), :P16_ALBUM_ID);
        END LOOP;
    END;You could also use my Plug & Play Tabular Form handling (http://inside-apex.blogspot.com/2006/12/plug-play-tabular-form-handling.html).
    In that case your code would look like that.
    BEGIN
        FOR i IN 1 .. ApexLib_TabForm.getRowCount
        LOOP
            INSERT INTO PL_ALB_IMGS VALUES (PL_ALB_IMGS_SEQ.nextval, ApexLib_TabForm.V('CHECK$01', i), :P16_ALBUM_ID);
        END LOOP;
    END;This library allows you to access columns by there name.
    Hope this helps

  • WebLink to open a report

    Hi All,
    I'm trying to create a new web link field to open a report or a custom web applet and pass the current Opportunity.ID to the report so that it filters on a single opportunity. I'm struggling with the URL here can anyone help?
    This open's an analytics window but can't find the request:
    https://secure-ausomxdsa.crmondemand.com/OnDemand/user/analytics/saw.dll?Go&Path=%2fshared%2fCompany_30162_Shared_Folder%2fWebLinkReport&Options=rfd&Action=Navigate&P0=1&P1=eq&P2=Opportunity."Opportunity ID"&P3=%%%Id%%%
    This one opens a complete new SoD window and runs the report but does not filter on the opportunity id:
    https://secure-ausomxdsa.crmondemand.com/OnDemand/user/ReportIFrameView?SAWDetailViewURL=saw.dll?Go%26Path%3D%252fshared%252fCompany_33517_Shared_Folder%252fWebLinkReport&AnalyticReportName=WebLinkReport&Options=rfd&Action=Navigate&P0=1&P1=eq&P2=Opportunity."Opportunity ID"&P3=%%%Id%%%
    So really i'm looking to open the report in a new window where only the report is displayed and filter on 1 opportunity. Anyone have any ideas?
    Thanks
    Oliver @ Innoveer

    Oli,
    Rather than using the url that the browser uses, right click on the report and go to properties. The url there is slightly different
    https://secure-ausomxdsa.crmondemand.com/OnDemand/user/analytics/saw.dll?Go&Path=%2fshared%2fCompany_33517_Shared_Folder%2fWebLinkReport&Options=rfd&Action=Prompt.
    So use that as the base any apply the parameters as you already did.

  • Open URL in Oracle Reports

    Hello Every one,
    I am using Oracle Reports 10G and would like to open a URL via Oracle reports. Basically, I am trying to open a weblink that is a pdf. Is this possible in Oracle reports?
    any documentation or help would be really appreciated.
    Regards

    Yes. You should be able to create a link on basically any field or text.
    You can create the somthing similiar in a program unit (property inspector >Advanced Layout>format triggers)
    BEGIN
    IF UPPER(xxx_xxx) = 'XXXXXX'THEN
    return('http://www.google.com')
    END IF;
    END;
    OR
    You can just set the hyperlink to the appropriate url within the property inspector >Web Settings>Hyperlink

    What could have happened? How can I fix this?
    Thanks in advance for your help!

    Actually thats correct. When you specify %%%Id%%%, it gets replaced with actual row id which is "ADBA-3AYF6O" in your case.
    One mistakeI noticed, '=' is missing after P3 it should be

  • How to allow normal/regular users to view a report

    I have been compiling reports in MS SQL 2012 Reporting Services.  the URLs is

    or not have permission.

    Is this how I enable user bambi to 1) enable to open Reports folder and also browse for reports in Reports folder  2) enable user bambi to execute all reports in Reports folder.
    Problem:  user bambi was able to open Reports folder and see all reports saved in it; however, bambi gets a blank page upon selecting a report and open/run it.  bambi should see company logo and report name.  It was a blank white page.
    What did I do incorrectly?
