Weblogic 10.3 throwing invocationExceptionHandler(JDBCWrapperImpl.java:141)

Hi All,
We are using executeBatch() in PreparedStatement to persist the data.
This is working fine in Weblogic 8.1 with large data
The same source code is failing in Weblogic 10.3
The following Error is thrown
11/02/2009 17:30:48 EST ERROR [[ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: '9' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'] - error persist data
java.sql.SQLException: executeBatch, Exception = -32643
at weblogic.jdbc.wrapper.JDBCWrapperImpl.invocationExceptionHandler(JDBCWrapperImpl.java:141)
at weblogic.jdbc.wrapper.PreparedStatement.executeBatch(PreparedStatement.java:201)
at com.abc.db.DataHandler.processInserts(DataHandler.java:406)
Your help to solve this issue is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Ramesh

To use JSF 2.0, all you need to do is deploy the MW_HOME/wlserver/common/deployable-libraries/jsf-2.0.war as an application library, then reference it in the relevant weblogic descriptor. It looks like you have done both those two steps.
I wonder if the ADF domain extension is not having some effect here -- IIRC an ADF domain is a pretty customized environment which loads libraries directly from the CLASSPATH, in which case, perhaps there is a conflict arising from that in terms of classloader visibility.
Can you try your app on a standard WLS domain, or are you specifically needing to use an ADF domain?

    Thanks for your assistance. Here is the log from weblogic. You may find "xxx" and "yyy" terms. these are given to our specific project oriented names. If you need any further info please let me know. Again a brief about the issue. when the service returns a fault soap message, the server trying to set the error code in a class generated by it's own where the method is not avilable. this happens for all fault soap message. In case of right response from the service no issues. all are working fine.
    Note: Max 3000 characters are allowed to post. so truncating initial stack trace.

    Version: WebLogic 10gR3 Portal
    The call is being made from one cluster to another in the same domain.
    There are two separate ear files that make up the application. One EAR contains the application, the other contains services. The services ear is deployed to one cluster, and the application to another cluster. Remote EJB calls are made from the application to the services. If these ears are in separate clusters, the calls fail with the error above. If the EARs are deployed within the same cluster, the calls work correctly.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    As u are migrating from WebLogic 11g to WebLogic 10gR3 Portal so it will be best if you can generate the Artifacts like Stubs...etc using APPC compiler of WebLogic 10gR3 Portal.
    Then deploy the EAR/WAR on WebLogic 10gR3 Portal Server. http://jaysensharma.wordpress.com/2010/02/08/weblogic-specific-appc-ant-task/

    Hi All,
              <br>
              <br>
              My application was working fine on weblogic7. Recently i have installed weblogic8.1 SP4. We are using managed weblogic servers. I got noclassdeffounderror for a class on the deployment of the application or on the start one of the servers.
              <br>
              <br>
              <b>Strange thing is that the class it is complaining is there in the jar and the jar is there in the classpath which it displays along with the error.</b>
              <br>
              <br>
              I dont know why its not picking up that class. I verifed the classpath by setting it on command line and then tried to use that particular class and it was working.
              <br>
              <br>
              I also tried to put the particular class in web-inf/classes directory and to my surprise it is also not working. still it is giving the same error. Then I tried to put the jar in the web-inf/lib but even in this case also i got the same error.
              <br>
              <br>
              Is there something wrong in the setup/configuration of the server?? or is it anyway related to the environment(like xp,2000,environment variables etc) where the server is installed?? or is weblogic8.1 has some problem in picking classes form classpath or web-inf/classes/ for some particular cases??
              <br>
              <br>
              Anybody has any idea why weblogic8.1 is behaving this way??
              <br>

  • Java.lang.NullPointerException at weblogic.servlet.logging.LogManagerHttp.log(LogManagerHttp.java:292)

              Hi,
              intermittently we are seeing this exception in the server log files on weblogic 6.1
              sp2, I was wondering what the cause is:
              java.lang.NullPointerException
                   at weblogic.servlet.logging.LogManagerHttp.log(LogManagerHttp.java:292)
                   at weblogic.servlet.internal.HttpServer.log(HttpServer.java:835)

                   at weblogic.kernel.ExecuteThread.run(ExecuteThread.java:120)

    Did your C:\Lighthammer\Security\userdata\IlluminatorUsers.xml or other files in this directory get corrupted somehow?
    If you've rebooted the box or bounced the ServletExec-xMII service, do you see anything in the SYSTEM level messages that are forced during the initialization sequence in either the Lighthammer General log or the LHSecurity General log that would give any indications to the problem?

    I suppose that WebLogic try to use the ORB classes provided by itself but I

    Thanks

    I have found the problem, I had many orb.properties files in my PC,
    (VisualAge, etc...) Weblogic used other file, I don't know why, that was the
    reason.
    Sorry and thanks.

    There is a paper that gives some guidelines for delegation. It can be
    found
    at <http://www.weblogic.com/docs51/classdocs/corba.html>.
    Seems to me that the problem you are having is related to the
    configuration
    specified for the jdk in the orb.properties file. For our part, we do not
    set these properties.
    Does anyone else have any useful advice here?

    At the current time, BEA is not planning to release the workshop look and

    all standard swing code -- just a lot of custom drawn controls!
    In a later release we may open up these libraries to partners who want to

  • How to make weblogic proxy to work on Sun Java system web server 7?

    Hi Every one,
    I am working on upgrade our Sun one 6.1 webserver to Sun Java system web server 7. Our website uses weblogic server to process jsp, web server only send static pages. I did all configurations as on Sun one. But somehow, the webserver does not forward "get jsp page" request to weblogic. The log record is:
    for host 10.78.124.118 trying to GET /home.jsp, send-file reports: HTTP4142: can't find /www/a/WebServer7/docs/bmd9i/home.jsp (File not found)
    home.jsp is at weblogic server.
    And redirect "NameTrans fn="redirect" from="/" url="/home.jsp"" seems does not work. when I type on IE http://32.69.253.131/ (32.69.253.131 is http listener IP), it always shows index.html page under the document root.

    Quick obvious question - Are you positive you're editing the correct obj.conf? Check the config directory and see if there is a second one called something like <instance>.obj.conf (where <instance> is the name of your configured instance).
    Alternatively you can grep for object-file in the server.xml to see which obj.conf the server is using:
    # grep object-file server.xml
        <object-file>bare-php.obj.conf</object-file>Assuming that you are editing the correct obj.conf file, are you making certain to restart Web Server after making your changes?

  • Throw exception in Java mapping and handle this in BPM

    Hi,
    I'll use a Java mapping in a BPM transform step. Is it possible to throw an exception inside this Java mapping and handle this in a BPM exception handler?
    thanks and regards
    Verena

    Hi Verena,
    In a BPM transformation step, I think you can throw exceptions only for system errors.
    Let me explain with an example, one of the ways to handle your scenario:
    Lets assume your Java Mapping fails then you can trap that exception in your Java mapping and compose an XML message which indicates that an error has occurred.
    say for e.g.
    <intermediateStructure>
    <SatusDocument>
    <StatusCode>ERROR</StatusCode>
    <ErrCode>123</ErrCode>
    <ErrDesc><!populate the thrown exception details></ErrDesc>
    </StatusDocument>
    <Payload>
    <!contains actual XML message with data>
    </Payload>
    </intermediateStructure>
    if Java mapping is Successful, you can compose the XML message as follows:
    <intermediateStructure>
    <SatusDocument>
    <StatusCode>SUCCESS</StatusCode>
    <ErrCode>0</ErrCode>
    <ErrDesc></ErrDesc>
    </StatusDocument>
    <Payload>
    <!contains actual XML message with data>
    </Payload>
    </intermediateStructure>
    You can use BPM switch operation to switch to different processing branches say for e.g. "error" branch or "success" branch by examining the value of <StatusCode> tag.
    Hope it helps !
