Oracle 10.2.0.3 Full Client for Windows 2003 32bit
Hello,
I know this is a stupid question, but I cannot seem to find the download for the full client for 10.2.0.3 for Windows 2003 32bit server. I have found the instant client, but not the full client.
Thanks in advance.
BrianHi Zekmoe,
do you have the PATCHES tab in Metalink (metalink.oracle.com)?
If not, please check your PROFILE in metalink - if PATCHES and UPDATES says: NO, then please contact your administrator (mentioned also in your PROFILE) to enable the patch download.
If you'll have the PATCHES tab then go to QUICK LINKS in the patch screen and choose Windows 32bit and 10.2.0.3
Hope this helps - kind regards

Acrobat Pro installed on a Windows 2003 32bit server - where's the 64bit driver?
Hello.
I'm still newbie with Acrobat Pro so please bear with me if this is a silly question.
A prospect of ours installed the TRIAL version of Acrobat Pro Extended on a 32bit Windows 2003 server and everything went fine; this server "serves" a number of Windows 7 64bit boxes which are supposed to share the PDF Printer created on the Win2003 server during the installation.
Problem is that when the printer gets shared and clients try to install it, the 64bit driver could not be found.
The customer tried to install the 64bit driver on the Win2003 box but he does not know where to find the correct .INF file for 64bit windows client.
Thanks,
RobTwo facts for consideration. As I understand it the trail only comes in 64-bit. Don't know for sure since I have never downloaded it, but that is a faint memory.
More importantly, read the EULA carefully before you purchase for the type of application you listed. The general EULA does not allow the use of Acrobat on a server in the manner you have indicated. You have to purchase Acrobat for each machine, not a server. You may have enough that need to use the product that a volume license is in order -- contact Adobe for that. In the meantime, use the Acrobat Trail to test the features and such to be sure it meets your needs (other than the server use). -
Application Server on Windows 2003 - 32bit / 64bit queries
Hi
We have a 10g forms application that we wish to deploy on 64bit AMD opteron architecture machines.
We need to deploy on Windows 2003 Server.
From Metalink, I understand that Infrastructure Installation is not supported on the 64bit version of Windows, which means deploying on 32bit Windows 2003 installed on the Opteron.
This leads me to two questions:
1) Has anyone experienced any significant platform specific issues with running Application Server on 32bit Windows 2003 on a 64 bit Opteron platform (over and above 32bit OS on a 32bit platform)?
2) 32bit processes are limited to a maximum of 4Gb address space. I understand that the Forms Server on Windows uses a single process with multiple threads to service forms sessions. Does this mean that an individual forms server may only service clients up to a 4Gb (or lower?) memory limit regardless of the Physical memory installed on the box? Or is it possible to configure multiple forms processes within a single Forms server to make use of more physical memory?
Thanks

HELP! Problems using large memory on windows 2003(32bit) and Oracle 11g
i have Oracle 11g installed on windows 2003 enterprise server 32bit with 6GB RAM.
And I followed the steps to enable the Very Large Memory support:
1. add /3GB /PAE in c:\boot.ini
2. add AWE_WINDOW_MEMORY entry in the regitry and set it's value to 209715200
3. as for init.ora:
add:
dbblock_lru_latches = 64
db_block_size = 4096
db_block_buffers = 262144
remove the parameters: db_cache_size,sga_max_size
it does work when I use Oracle 10g, but for Oracle 11g, there are some errors:
ORA-00371: not enough shared pool memory, should be atleast **** bytes
OR
ORA-27102: out of memory
Can anybody share the experience in Oracle 11g?
Much thanks!Increase your shared_pool_size parameter
It looks like you have set the memory 1gb after setting up /PAE and /3GB switch
4096*262144=1GB...
Then why did you set /3GB -
Oracle 10g problems on Windows 2003 32bit
After much struggle I got 10g installed on my w2k3 server.
It is very unreliable, however.
1. The OracleDBConsoles<server name> will fail from time to time.
2. my floppy disk drive is being accessed from time to time for no reason after the install (no, no virus - it stops when I stop all oracle services)
Is 10g really windows 2003 ready?
I mean, from the painful install, to it not behaving properly...
I used to have 9i r2 working flowlessly on the same machine. I may just go back to it.
I did a proper uninstall with a registry cleanup before trying to install 10g.
Anyone using 10g on w2k3 willing to share some insights?
Thanks!http://metalink.oracle.com/metalink/plsql/ml2_documents.showDocument?p_database_id=BUG&p_id=3519087
Fixed in 10.1.0.4
I know for sure that this will not be released until Feb 2005 as I cannot get a backport for a different bug and have been informed from Oracle Support. -
11.1.0.7 certified with windows 2003 (32bits) server?
Hi,
Is 11.1.0.7 release certified with Win2003 (32bits) server? I only found 11.1.0.7 for windows server 2008 (32bits) on Oracle download site.
Thanks!See your duplicate post here - 11.1.0.6 to 11.1.0.7
For Win 2003, 11.1.0.7 is a patch that needs to be downloaded from My Oracle Support. You install it on top of a 11.1.0.6 install.
Access to My Oracle Support requires a valid Customer Support Identifier, which is given when you purchase support from Oracle.

Creating a windows Service for Weblogic 12c Domain hosting Apex 2.2 listener
Hi Guys,
Does anyone have experience of Weblogic 12c under windows?
I have some difficulties to create a windows service for a domain.
Here is the script to create the service:
echo off
SETLOCAL
set DOMAIN_NAME=PMU
set USERDOMAIN_HOME=C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\PMU
set SERVER_NAME=LICORNE2012
set WL_HOME=C:\Oracle\Middleware\wlserver_12.1
set PRODUCTION_MODE=true
set JAVA_OPTIONS=-Dweblogic.Name=LICORNE2012
set WLS_USER=weblogic
set WLS_PW=password
set ADMIN_URL=http://LICORNE2012:7001
set MEM_ARGS=-Xms256m –Xmx256m
call "C:\Oracle\Middleware\wlserver_12.1\server\bin\installSvc.cmd"
ENDLOCAL
The service is created and when I start the service, it start then stop few second after.
Here is the error I am getting.

Thanks for your help
jko- not sure about your script, but obviously it doesn't detect the name of your managed server LICORNE2012 since there seems to be an admin server only in that domain.
- alternatively you might try the approach posted by the AMIS guys
Weblogic Admin and Managed servers as a Windows service
- btw: having your domain under user_projects is not best practice (but not the problem here).
good luck! -
SOA Server 11g (Weblogic instance) stopping on its own on Windows 2003 OS
Hi,
I am running SOA Server 11g (Weblogic instance) on Windows 2003 OS. The machine has 4 GB RAM and 1.8 GH CPU. The SOA Server (Java process) and Weblogic Admin Servers are stopping on its own. There are lo errors in the server log files. Please suggest if you have faces similar issues. I have installes Oracle Weblogic 11g and SOA Suite 11g on this machine. The same software runs fine on Windows XP OS.
Thanks
SubhoCan you please provide more information:
1. Which version of Windows Server 2003? 32 bit or 64 bit version?
2. Which exact version of Weblogic and SOA Suite have you installed?
3. How long do the servers run before they shutdown(do they even start properly before going down)?
4. Make the stdout go to the server log and then see if you can find any errors.
To do that you need to go to following under domain structure tree:
Environment>Servers>{your admin server name} page
in Logging tab, advanced section, Put a checkmark against following:
Redirect stdout logging enabled
Redirect stderr logging enabled
Save and activate and then restart the server. This will log the JVM log information to the weblogic server log and hopefully you will be able to identify the issue. -
Hello,
After you install the 32bit version of Oracle WebLogic 12c , jdevstudio11115install (Windows 7 32 bit platform) . These actions come after the installation of the domain ADF 's and then completed the installation.
I receive the following error when I run startWebLogic.cmd. ( What is the solution. )
