Weblogic logs [URI] where this can be configured ? / viewed ?

Hi
I am testing one web service in weblogic 11g. In logs i am seeing logging output as below
[2013-07-04T12:22:02.207+00:00] [EZNET_APMBPEL_001] [TRACE] [] [LogSessionBean] [tid: 15] [userId: <anonymous>] [ecid: 0000Jyd
bnpA2vHmLsq_AiX1HpKs_000271,1:23718:3:1] [SRC_CLASS: com.myweblogic.services.logging.RajivLogger] [APP: assignment] [SRC_METHOD:
isTraceLog] [URI: /ws_testservice/TorkTervice] FINE:QPM:START createWork com.test.webservices.test.TestServiceImpl
In the above logs, from where that URI is taken ? Can i see that configuration some where ?

Check the build script used to build the service to find the URI
or
Check the URI declared in the annotation in the class com.test.webservices.test.TestServiceImpl.
Hope this helps!!
Thanks,
Vijaya

    Hi All
There is a log configuration tab on BPEL Admin (where you can configure log for apache axis for instance), but I can´t locate where this log is beeing generated, can you help me please?
I have already checked log files on:

    {OracleHome}/j2ee/bpel/log
    {OracleHome}/opmn/logs

    Hi Afonso
I´m trying to catch some log for Apache Axis or something related to SOAP messages, WSIF or WebServices call.
I have two BPEL process (lets say A and B).
Process A call process B using dynamic partner links (setting the EndpointReference at runtime).
I have also two BPEL servers installations: let´s say 1 and 2.
If I deploy these two process on the server 1, everything works fine.
If I deploy the process on the server 2, I get this error:
exception on JaxRpc invoke: HTTP transport error: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: java.security.PrivilegedActionException: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Message transmission failure, response code: 500
We are trying to find out what is the diference between server 1 and server 2, as we believe they should be igual (both are 10.1.3.3.0).
And now I believe I have just found another BPEL Bug, because the log configuration on BPEL Admin seen to not work!

I am trying to find some more information on the different error levels that are logged to weblogic.log. Does anyone know if the levels are described anywhere?

WebLogic uses the following severities, in order of criticality:
Emergency The server is in an unusable state. This should only be used to
designate severe system failures or panics.
Alert A particular service is in an unusable state. Other parts of the
system continue to function. Automatic recovery is not possible and the
immediate attention of the administrator is required to resolve theproblem.
    >
Critical A system/service level error has occurred. The system is ableto
recover, perhaps with a momentary loss or permanent degradation ofservice.
    >
Notice A particularly important warning or informational message.
Messages, such as notification of successful recovery from a failure, which
is of particular importance to an administrator monitoring the server.
Error A user level error has occurred. The system is able to handle the
error with no interruption and limited degradation in service. Make this
    severity less 'severe' than NOTICE.
Warning A warning message. A suspicious operation or configuration which
doesn't affect the normal operation of the server.
Informational An informational message. Used for the logging of normal
    operations for later examination.
Debug A debug message. Should be output only when the server isconfigured
in a debug mode. May contain detailed information about operations or the
    state of the server.

I never found anything in the documentation. But if you are using
    LogOutputStream, there is the following:
    - emergency
    - alert
    - critical
    - error
    - notice
    - warning
    - info
    - debug
All take parameters of either just a String or a String and Throwable.
I don't know of a way to tell Weblogic just to log certain levels andignore
others so when you are done debugging you don't log any of the debug
    messages to the log file.
This can be found by doing a
    javap weblogic.logging.LogOutputStream
Hope this is what you are looking for.

  • Can I change where WL dumps weblogic.log?

    Hi,
I believe WL always writes wl.log to the subdir defined by
weblogic.system.home... can I specify a different directory for logging?
This is important for us in the context of clustering and shared file
system, because we want WL to log to a local dir instead of the shared file
system (for performance reasons), and yet in order to clustering to work
under 5.1, I had to set weblogic.system.home to a directory under the shared
    file system!

Yes this bug will be fixed in service pack 2.

  • Can we configure mirooring and log hsipping both DR in one database?

Can we configure mirooring and log hsipping both DR in one database?
If yes how it does work.
    Many Thanks
    Shashikala

    You
CAN definitely use log shipping and mirroring at the same time. You can make use of log shipping to ship the log to a remote site for DR and have a database-mirroring, high-availability configuration locally. However, Sometimes it
is a slight bit tiresome to set up log shipping going the other way once a failover has occurred, whereas mirroring is easy in that portion.
Some DBA use this two together if you they have to use bulk-logged recovery model, since mirroring only uses the full recovery model and in another scenario in database mirroring, we cannot
use mirroring database as reporting (cannot query) unless we don’t create snapshot out it, but in log shipping, the database is in standby mode so we can query if it is not being restored at the same time.

  • Where You can create a support case for weblogic server?

I would like to know where I can create a support case for weblogic server?

  • How can I configure ReFS to NOT fail read operations when a checksum error is detected (on non-Storage-Spaces volumes where data integrity streams are enabled)?

According to William Stanek, in his Windows Server 2012 R2 Inside Out: Configuration, Storage & Essentials book, this is apparently possible: (pg. 615 - here it is on Google Books: https://books.google.ca/books?id=0IyfBAAAQBAJ&pg=PT819&lpg=PT819&dq=read+operation )
Integrity can be enabled when the system is not running on Storage Spaces. When
integrity is enabled and ReFS detects a checksum mismatch, ReFS logs an event and
fails the read operation by default. If you don’t want the read operation to fail, you
can configure ReFS to continue with the read operation. A related event will be logged
        regardless.
So then how do I configure it to do that???
(And just to make it super-clear, I'm NOT using Storage Spaces, so there is no redundancy via mirroring/parity, and I'm not expecting any file repair - just detection of corruption. It's just a basic volume formatted with ReFS and
with integrity streams enabled, via format E: /fs:ReFS /i:enabled
For those who want more details, here's the situation:
I try to perform a read operation on a file with corrupted data (purposely done for testing using a low-level disk editor), I get a the following error message:
And an event ID 133 from ReFSv1 gets logged in the System log:
Clicking "Try Again" just brings up the same message, and clicking "Skip" skips the operation entirely.
This is indeed the correct default behaviour.
What I want instead is for the read operation to be allowed to complete, with corrupt data and all, and ONLY for the event to be logged. And according to William Stanek, this is supposed to be configurable somewhere - and after hours of searching, I haven't
    been able to find anything.

    Hi Tommy,
    >>How can I configure ReFS to NOT fail read operations when a checksum error is detected
We can use PowerShell command Set-FileIntegrity to configure this. The specific parameter for controlling this behavior is
-Enforce <Boolean>which indicates whether to enable blocking access to a file if integrity streams do not match the data.
Regarding this point, the following article can be referred to as reference.
    Set-FileIntegrity

  • Where we can check the logs if system or application fails.

    Dear Support,
If we are facing any system oriented issue or application oriented issue, where we can check the logs in the computer.
This logs will help us for me to identify the error code and also to fix the resolution of the error for the same.
    Regards
    Pradeep.R

    Hello Pradeep.R,
I can’t find a log to trace both application as system logs at the same time.
We could try the following workaround.
Open two Event Viewers and separately check the application and system logs based on time.

  • Nered to know where I can view ACL denies regarding "access-list deny any log" ?

I ask this question in the context of an SNMP access list. I am guessing that this line of config (access-list deny any log) will allow you to see which addresses were denied SNMP access.
I need to know where I can view the source addresses from where the packets were dropped? Could this be just in sh log? Thanks in advance for any help. Cheers

    Hi,
Yes, with an extended access-list with the last line:
    deny ip any any log
with "sh log" you can  see the source address of the packets being dropped.
Take note that you must be at least in the logging level 6 (informational), by default console and monitor are in level 7 (debugging):
    logging console debugging
    logging monitor debugging
With older IOS versions (before at least 12.4) you had to add the following lines at the bottom of the acl:
    access-list 101 deny   tcp any range 0 65535 any range 0 65535 log
    access-list 101 deny   udp any range 0 65535 any range 0 65535 log
access-list 101 deny   icmp any any log
access-list 101 deny   ip any any log
to log the sources and destinations IPs and port numbers.
    Best Regards,
    Pedro Lereno
