Weblogic server deployment problem.
Dear All,
I create a package as webservice. I deployed it into the weblogic server. When i start the webservice, it shows this error.
java.lang.Exception: [DeploymentService:290049]Deploy failed for id '1,239,100,872,065' since no targets are reachable.
Nothing displayed under the webservice
Thanks
Resmi
You're welcome.
I assume you are looking for an answer to your problem, though ;)
Perhaps a bit more explanation is in order:
I create a package as a webserviceExplain more what you mean - a PL/SQL package? A Java package (which doesn't make sense as a web service by the way)? Do you mean you created a Java class that you wanted to be made into a web service? How did you create the web service based upon the "package?"
I deployed it into the weblogic serverAgain, how? What are the steps you used?
When I start the webserviceHow do you start a web service? Do you mean when you start the Weblogic Server? Do you mean when you try to access the web service?
Nothing displayed under the webserviceAgain, not clear at all what you mean. Web services don't "display" things. Do you mean when you attempted to call the web service from some tool, you got no result back?
Sorry to nitpick your question apart, but it's really important to be both complete and precise when you ask a question.
Best,
john

I have tried several solutions for above problem:
Sol1:
I have checked my datasource.
The database details and URL are correct and i am able to test the connection and the DB is up and running.
Sol2:
I dropped RCU and created again but it didnt resolve the issue.
Sol3:
I have renamed the folders tmp, cache and data folders to in the below location
C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\SOA_domain\servers\AdminServer
After starting the weblogic server, these folders are created again but problem is not solved.
Sol4:
Logged intoto Weblogic console->services->Data Source->Click on SOADataSource->Go to Transaction tab->verify 'XA Transaction Timeout:' is set to 0
Sol5:

The schema details are same in both cases
Sol6: Dropped Database, RCU and SOA and installed again.
But the problem is not solved.

SwathiHi Swati,
When you see this error
Cause: weblogic.common.resourcepool.ResourceDeadException: 0:weblogic.common.Res
ourceException: Could not create pool connection. The DBMS driver exception was:
IO Error: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection
Action: Check the stack trace for more details.
That means Datasource Connection Pool is failing to create a pool either due to DB is down or no connection made by Pool resource.
Try to tune the Datasource with following parameter will help you.
1. Eanble Test connection on reseve
2. Connection creation retry frequency second set as 10 these two parameter make reconnect back to you DB and Pool start executing correctly.
After enable still have problem please provide complete stack.

Weblogic server - deploy application
Hello,
Please advice me, i am totally new in this.
Web application has been successfully build in Jdeveloper 11g .
Also i am create new domain and web logic server are running.
What i need is instruction how to deploy this app on that weblogic server, i am not sure which files i need to instalAre you asking how to deploy it from within JDeveloper? This would be better asked in the forum that focuses on JDeveloper. I don't know the exact link for it, but I think it's in the "Tools" category.
If you're asking how to deploy the constructed WAR or EAR file outside of JDeveloper, then I would suggest this:
1. Follow the instructions in JDeveloper to export or construct a WAR or EAR file that is saved to disk. I have no idea how to do that. If you don't know, ask in the JDeveloper forum.
2. Log into the admin console for the domain you want to deploy the application to.
3. Click on "Deployments" and follow the instructions for installing a new application.
(There are other details of the process, but that's the basic idea.) -
Dashboard customization during weblogic server deployment
Hi,
We have this requirement to customize dasboard style (bg_banner.jpg) and we have done customization in 's_custom' folder at the following locations
<b><install_dir>\OracleBI\web\res\s_custom </b> and <b> <install_dir>\OracleBI\oc4j_bi\j2ee\home\applications\analytics\analytics\res\s_custom </b> by taking back up of s_oracle10 folder
and added <DefalutStyle> tag in "instanceconfig.xml" file.
it is working fine in oc4j server.
<p>
Later we have deployed OBIEE on weblogics server. I have taken back up of s_oracle10 folder located at <b> <deployment_folder>\res \s_custom</b>
and renamed it as s_custom and changed the bg_banner, but it is not reflecting.
OBIEE version - 10.1.3.4.2
Weblogic server - 11gR1
Are the steps that I have followed to customize dasboard when deployed on weblogic server are correct?.
If not, plz help me..Hi,
When you are deploying BI on weblogic, I think you have to follow the steps below.
1. Navigate to \OracleBIData\web\app\ folder. Locate for analytics.war file.
2. Copy the analytics.war file and rename the copy as analytics-copy.zip
3. Extract all the files from the .zip folder.
4. Identify the bg_banner.jpg location and replace it.
5. Recreate the .war file out of the unzipped folders (Request you to refer to the presentation services admin guide for steps).
6. Deploy the updated .war onto weblogic.
Hope this helps.
Thank you,

Colud not start Weblogic Server having Problem in VM initialization
Hello All,
I have installed Weblogic Server 10.x.x
while starting web logic server, it gives me an error
Error occur during initiation of VM
Could not reserve enough space for object heap
Could not create Java Virtual Machine.
and get terminated,
I have installed This weblogic server on XP computer along with SOA 11g
Please let me out here
Thanks in AdvanceHi,
It seems that the Heap Size you have set (or using Default Heap Size) is less.
Please increase the Heap Size....by adding (_Xmx1024m) in server StartScript
*<DOMAIN_HOME>/bin/startWebLogic.sh*
Actual Lines Below:
# Call setDomainEnv here.
DOMAIN_HOME="C:/bea103/user_projects/domains/7001_Domain"
. ${DOMAIN_HOME}/bin/setDomainEnv.sh $*
SAVE_JAVA_OPTIONS="${JAVA_OPTIONS}"
Now we need to edit this file "startWebLogic.sh" as following:
# Call setDomainEnv here.
DOMAIN_HOME="C:/bea103/user_projects/domains/7001_Domain"
. ${DOMAIN_HOME}/bin/setDomainEnv.sh $*

CORBA Server Deployment Problem
Hi,
I was trying to run the Hello CORBA Tutorial example included
in Jdeveloper2.0. I got stuck with the "Deploying the CORBA
Server Object" where Step 7 needed to use 2481 as IIOP port
and Step 8 needed testing. Since I only configure 1521 TCP
port in listner, I always got 'Can not find resource' error
message when testing the connection. (I have pasted these
two steps from the tutorial below).
where/How do I configure the IIOP 2481 connection/listner?
Where do I get IIOP? Please advise. Thanks.
Mei
============================================================
Step7 : For your ORB Connection Information, provide the host
name of your database, the Service (SID), and port number(the
default port for IIOP is 2481). If you do not know the values
for these fields, contact your database administrator.
Step 8: Test the connection by clicking Test Connection. The
message, "Success!" appears if all goes well. Click OK to
close the dialog box. MyCORBAConnection database connection
is now selected in the connection list, and summary
information appears below it. Click Next. ... ...
==============================================================
nullHi
If it is NT machine you can use 'Net8 Configuration Assistant' to
create a listerner which can take IIOP connections. By default
the listener listens on port 2481.
Did you try putting 2481 as port number in the connection manager
Check out the messages with subject
' Invincible iiop connection problem '
and
'How to get IIOP to work with port 2481'
on this forum they have very useful info..
Also check the Net8 documention for more info.

Flex + amf php server deployment problem
Hi all,
After almost a month of research on this problem. I was able to remove all my errors on production but still not able to retrieve data.
Please help......
Here is the scenerio details :
I created a form which will take input from user and store those values in database.you can visit it here on web server :
http://www.accurateoptics.in/
I followed all the steps mentioned on adobe's test drive tutorial. It works fine on my local machine with WAMP installation. But the moment,
I upload it...Bang!!!! there comes the error ::::
Channel.Connect.Failed error NetConnection.Call.BadVersion: : url: http://www.accurateoptics.in/gateway.php
I googled again, read a lot of articles and figured out that some changes are required in my gateway.php and amf-config.ini files for production environment.
Did the necessary changes and uploaded again.Bang!!!!!!! new error comes:::::::
Channel disconnected before an acknowledgement was received.
to solve this, again googled a lot and figured out that i need to upload zend framework files so, did that and setting up the path for zend in amf-config.ini.
uploaded again.
Now, i am stuck at this point where no error is thrown only an alert box comes with a ok button. also, data is not retrieved from server.
I dont know what error i am making.here is my amf-config.ini file:::::::::::::

Looking for some help!! Thanks in advance..............Please elaborate.
I tried visitng http://www.accurateoptics.in/endpoint.php
but "page not found " returned
However, i also tried visitng "http://www.accurateoptics.in/gateway.php"
it shows me this echo result on page " Zend Amf Endpoint ".
so, if i m reaching to this place that means my gateway.php and amf-config.ini is fine.
the problem is somewhere else in any of these three files. -

I found this post explaining to recompile Apache
This actually means you installed mod_ssl as a DSO, but
. without rebuilding Apache with EAPI. Because EAPI is a
requirement for mod_ssl, you need an extra patched Apache
(containing the EAPI patches) and you have to build this
Apache with EAPI enabled (explicitly specify --enable-rule=EAPI
at the APACI command line).I recompiled apache with the following
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/ssl-apache/httpd-2.0.39
--enable-rule=EAPI ; make ; make install
I still get the same error when I try to load the module.Am I missing
something?
Any help is deeply appreciated.
-- ajithScott, I have yet to get WTG server to work as an NT service when loaded as an Apache module.
We've had to load it into a non-service based Apache server (one that runs from the command line in a MS-DOS prompt window). This is on XP Pro.
We've switched to running our WTG server on Linux. -

Problem with links in deployed ADF application to Weblogic Server 11g
Hi everyone !
I have a query here, firstly, I have created an ADF application using Jdeveloper 11g and have successfully deployed (EAR file) onto the weblogic server.
However, after testing out the application, the linking within the application does not seem to work. Whenever I click on a link or button, the page refreshes but the result is not displayed.
What could have cause the problem?
Thanks
GavinAre the ADF runtime libraries installed into the WebLogic server?

Web service actions and wizards supported by Weblogic can be found at:

Can you provide more detail about your starting point wsdl? or JWS? and information around what generation actions you used?

Problem to deploy to a WebService interface for ADF Business Components to Weblogic Server
Hi,
I'm trying to deploy a custom application ,in which i have exposed ADF Business Components through a WebService interface, to a standalone weblogic server.
Application Module is configured with a Service Interface for ordinary ViewObjects.
Now I want to create a EAR file of this application to deploy it on the weblogic server.
But I got an error while deploying it.The error i am getting is shown below.
ERROR: No Java EE modules detected in EAR archive. Deployment aborted. == (oracle.jdevimpl.deploy.ear.WeblogicAssembler)
I have followed the steps mention in the below link :
http://technology.amis.nl/2010/12/29/quickly-creating-reploying-and-testing-a-webservice-interface-for-adf-business-components/
I'm using Jdeveloper 11.1.2.4 on windows.
Please suggest what i could be doing wrong.
Regards,
HimanshuDoes the deployment profile include Java EE modules?
