Weblogic.testclient.WsdlParseFailedException

I am using JWS annotations to create a web service.
This webservice is a doc/lit. webservice which uses Xml beans to deserialize/ serialize the parameter and return value. The WSDL generated by the JWS compilation creates two schema definitions with the same namespace within the types section (This happens as I am using two seperate schemas with the same namespace. I should have merged it. but right now it is that way). If I use the test client option in the Weblogic Admin console, the parsing of WSDL fails with the exception in the subject line.
( "No elements for
{http://mynamespace.com}validateReturn found" is the error message thrown)
Parsing is not looking at both schema definitions with same namespace to resolve the element. Is this issue fixed in MP1 ie Weblogic 9.2.1 ?
Does weblogic support schema definitions in the wsdl with the same namespace? My observation is that Weblogic 9.2 Test client is not referring to multiple schemas with the same namespace in the WSDL.
The following is the types section
<types>
<xs:schema attributeFormDefault="qualified" elementFormDefault="qualified" targetNamespace="http://mynamespace.com" xmlns:s0="http://mynamespace.com" xmlns:s2="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/soap/" xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
<xs:element name="validateReturn" type="xs:anyType"/>
</xs:schema>
<xs:schema attributeFormDefault="qualified" elementFormDefault="qualified" targetNamespace="http://mynamespace.com" xmlns:s0="http://mynamespace.com" xmlns:s2="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/soap/" xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
<xs:element name="validate" type="xs:anyType"/>
</xs:schema>
</types>

I tried with Weblogic 9.2 MP1 and it works there.

  • Re: Parse of wsdl failed due to weblogic.testclient.WsdlParseFailedException

    I am facing a issue when I click ?WSDL, it generates a MAC address kind of
    http://[2001:0:9d38:6ab8:c1a:1cb2:3f57:73d7]:7001/cps-ws/CpsParticipantHistoryService?WSDL.
    If I click on request I get response. If I click on the same request the following day.
    I need to know how to get rid off this MAC and get real IP; I am using Windows 8 and Weblogic Server 12 c. Appreciate if anybody can help

    Can you paste the snippet of access.log file of the weblogic server at the time when you are accessing the web service with the web service client.
    This seems to be some issue with the configuration difference between your solaris and windows environment.
    Are you using any kind of proxy to access the weblogic web service client or were you using it previously.
    enabling the authentication debug flag for the server on which the web service has deployed and looking into the server log will help in debugging the issue why the server is throwing the authorization error.

  • Weblogic SAAJ implementation and version problem

    I have a problem with Weblogic 9.0 using its own implementation over the one i provide.
              I have tried putting the saaj-api.jar and saaj-impl.jar in my domains lib/ catalog as well as the domains config/lib/ catalog.
              I also tried PRE_CLASSPATH in setDomainEnv.cmd but it seems the weblogic implementation is being used anyway!
              Any ideas how to solve this?
              Here are a couple of exceptions i get after a context lookup and getConnection of the resource adapter:
              Caused by: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Unable to create SOAP connection factory: com.sun.xml.messaging.saaj.client.p2p.HttpSOAPConnectionFactory
                   at javax.xml.soap.SOAPConnectionFactory.newInstance(Unknown Source)
                                  I also tried adding a property value:
                        System.setProperty("javax.xml.soap.SOAPConnectionFactory", "com.sun.xml.messaging.saaj.client.p2p.HttpSOAPConnectionFactory");
                        in the web app before doing the context lookup, and then i get this exception:

              at weblogic.webservice.core.soap.SOAPElementImpl.getElementsByTagNameNS(SOAPElementImpl.java:527)

    Was this problem solved in the latest version of Bea Weblogic 9.2?

  • Creating a WSDL from a perfectly working Logical DS in ALDSP 3.2

    i am just running to a small issue, i have a created a group of logical Data services. each having its own functionality. it is tested several times and is in fine working condition.
    i have to create a WSDL from this. these were the steps i followed.
    1. Went to new, clicked on web Service Map.
    2. Named it ABC. I then dragged and dropped my logical DS.
    3. when i say "test web service" , the following error throws up.
    http://localhost:7051/BSOM/WebService/BSOM_R3.ws?WSDL
    failed due to weblogic.testclient.WsdlParseFailedException: Not Found
    4. When the link is copied and pasted in Internet Explorer, it shows :
    Error 404--Not Found
    From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
    10.4.5 404 Not Found

    The original problem occurs when there is an <annotation> preceding an <import> or <include>. Moving the <annotations> after the <import> and <include> solves the problem.

  • How to generate WS and WSDL for proper working DS under ALDSP 3.0?

    Hi,
    Ive got small problem with generating WebService and WSDL for proper working DataService in AL Data Service Studio.
    Whats the worse, I cant find any good documentation showing how to do it step by step in the new development enviroment.
    Currently Im doing it like:
    1) right click on DS and then Create Web Service Map
    2) when Im trying to View WSDL for created (in previous point) WS Map, after a while for deployment, I get Error 404--Not Found
    3) when Im trying to Save WSDL As ... , after showing where it should to be saved, nothing happens
    4) At Test Web Service Map option Ive got (in ZIP archive there is error trace from WebLogic console):
    http://localhost:7001/xyz/abc/test/something.ws?WSDL
    failed due to weblogic.testclient.WsdlParseFailedException: Not Found
    My questions are:
    i) how I can generate WS for DS?
    ii) when there will be some tutorials to download for ALDSP 3.0?

    Some new facts about this situation.
    A moment ago Ive made all the things like in edocs:
    http://edocs.bea.com/aldsp/docs30/install/migration.html#wp1081343
    After that problems still exists and what is the worst - the same problem as at the first time.
    So:
    1) Problem of not migrated kind="private" to visibility="private"
    2) Problem of migrating the files encoded in CP1250 if they got charakters encoded in CP1250
    3) I know that proces of migration from multiple imports to the same namespace within XSDs must be done in manual way but problem still exist
    4) There are some issue like this:
    "[ld:xXx_PIDataServices/cache/order/order.ds]: The return type of the read function "{ld:xXx_PIDataServices/cache/order/order}setOrderStatus" with arity 1 does not match the Data Service target (element) type "{services.cache.integration.amg}setOrderOut"."
    When I remove kind="read" from pragma then its going to be valid.
    In short time we will try to contact with our local BEA support.
    PS Right now I was trying to import another project (sample one for Workshop 8.1 - <BEA_HOME>\weblogic81\samples\workshop\SamplesApp) and it also didnt go smoothly :/

    Not without some information. What are your site definitions?
    What server
    model? Is the local server IIS? Apache? Something else? What
    error
    messages are you getting? Could this be a permissions
    problem? You said
    "suddenly" .. what if anything changed in your configuration?

    Thanks for your help,
    I don't have hardware firewall. But in gateway server of company, we have a firewall. I doubt if the 80 port in this firewall is blocked. You say that some ISP block port 80, what does it mean, does it mean that port 80 on the server of our company is blocked? But we have also web page, I can acess it from internet.
    another question: if one process send some message to another, it uses the fixed port or any port selected from the free port? e.g does one process send http request using fixed 80or 8080?
    Thank you

  • Web Service with SOAP deploys but Test client fails

    I created a simple application based on a WSDL, the classes where created ok, everything compiled ok but when testing it using BEA's Test client I get the error:
    Parse of wsdl (http://localhost:7001/AA/AA?WSDL) failed due to weblogic.testclient.WsdlParseFailedException: No elements for {http://www.omg.org/IDL-Mapped/}cgin.LoginName found..
    the WSDL was validated.
    Any ideas of where the error may be?

    From the naming alone, it would seem that the type the test client is complaining it cannot find is inside the imported wsdl.
    I have not come across this before, so I am not sure if that is a flaw in the test client or simply beyond what is supported. Support would probably have to answer that question.

  • Missing parameters on webmethod call

    On welblogic9.0, I've created a webservice using wsdlc and jwsc to generate code.
    I am experiencing a problem where parameters do not seem to be getting deserialized and passed to a web method.
    I have used the weblogic testclient along with the axis tcpmon tool to observe that the soap messages on the wire seem to be appropriately formatted. However, when my web method is invoked, the object instance that is received as a parameter does not seemed to be initialized.
    My soap request message looks like:
    <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns="http://gestalt.com/enbridge/mdrws/amrmeterdata/webservice/">
    <soapenv:Header />
    <soapenv:Body>
    <ReadMeterRequest>
    <meter>test</meter>
    <startTime>2005-12-01 17:00:00</startTime>
    <endTime>2005-12-01 18:00:00</endTime>
    </ReadMeterRequest>
    </soapenv:Body>
    </soapenv:Envelope>
    However, when the ReadMeterRequest instance is passed to my webmethod, the meter, startTime and endTime properties are all null.
    I am looking for suggestions on how to track down the cause of this problem.

    Hi Ozan.
    Thanks for your reply however my problem was that the fields were no longer displayed on the selection screen thus there was no buttons to select for the personalisation settings therefore no way to turn off the personalisation.
    However I discovered that if I executed the query using transaction RSRT the full selection screen was displayed and I could access the personalisation buttons for the parameters that had personalisation.
    Thanks anyway.

    Hi Paul
    I believe there is some issue with the TestClient.
    Instead to test, can you please try this?
    1) Right click on Payment.java and choose Webservices -> generate wsdl
    2) Right click on the wsdl and choose Webservices -> Test with WebServices Explorer.
    3) Click on setVendor method
    4) Enter the request parameters
    Sample one:
    <ns:Vendor xmlns="http://www.openuri.org/" xmlns:ns="http://suncorp.com.au/services/payment/schema/0">
    <vendorId xmlns="">Vendor Id</vendorId>
    <name xmlns="">My correlation Id</name>
    <persistence xmlns="">false</persistence>
    <country xmlns="">USA</country>
    <status xmlns="">ACTIVE</status>
    <vendorClass xmlns="">VendorClass</vendorClass>
    </ns:Vendor>
    5) Hit the button 'Go'. The entire soap response will be displayed in the bottom.
    I have tested this and it works fine.
    Output I got:
    <m:setupVendorResponse xmlns:m="http://suncorp.com.au/services/payment/wsdl/0">
    <RequestId xmlns="http://suncorp.com.au/services/payment/schema/0">
    <correlationId>CorrelationId-My correlation Id</correlationId>
    </RequestId>
    </m:setupVendorResponse>
    Thanks,
    Vimala

  • ClassCastException in my WS over JMS using JAX-RPC in WLS 10.3...

    Hi,
    I am developing a WS over JMS using JAX-RPC in WLS 10.3 (I tried both WLS 10.3.0 and 10.3.1). And when WLS is trying to marshal the response, it throws "ClassCastException":

    The "EquipmentHolderEnumType" is generated JAXB object (obviously it is not a String) from WSDL using WLS wsld generation. And here is how that Enum is defined in XSD:
    <xsd:simpleType name="EquipmentHolderEnumType">
    <xsd:annotation>
    <xsd:documentation>
    <p>Equipment holder type</p>
    </xsd:documentation>
    </xsd:annotation>
    <xsd:restriction base="xsd:string">
    <xsd:enumeration value="MINOR_EXT"/>
    <xsd:enumeration value="rack"/>
    <xsd:enumeration value="shelf"/>
    <xsd:enumeration value="sub_shelf"/>
    <xsd:enumeration value="slot"/>
    <xsd:enumeration value="sub_slot"/>
    <xsd:enumeration value="remote_unit"/>
    <xsd:enumeration value="remote_slots"/>
    </xsd:restriction>
    </xsd:simpleType>
    My question is why WLS is trying to cast the EnumType to String when marshalling it? How can I fix this exception?
    Also, second question: my WS will take some time to get the response ready (1+ minute). I was using WLS console test client to test my WS. And the test client always got time out:
    java.io.IOException: Request timed out
    at weblogic.wsee.connection.transport.jms.JmsTransport.receive(JmsTransport.java:356)
    at weblogic.testclient.WebServiceOperation.invokeJms(WebServiceOperation.java:463)
    at weblogic.testclient.WebServiceOperation.addWeblogicHeadersAndInvoke(WebServiceOperation.java:382)
    at weblogic.testclient.WebServiceOperation.invokeComplex(WebServiceOperation.java:305)
    at weblogic.testclient.WebServiceOperation.invoke(WebServiceOperation.java:626)
    How can I configure the WLS console test client so that I can increase teh timeout setting for the client?
    Thank you very much!
    Jian

    Hi, pls how did you solve your problem exatly? Because I have similar problem without solution.
    I have WSDL contract like:
    <xs:element name="duration">
    <xs:complexType>
    <xs:simpleContent>
    <xs:extension base="durationType">
    <xs:attribute name="days" type="xs:int" use="optional"/>
    </xs:extension>
    </xs:simpleContent>
    </xs:complexType>
    </xs:element>
    <xs:simpleType name="durationType">
    <xs:restriction base="xs:string">
    <xs:enumeration value="PERIODIC"/>
    <xs:enumeration value="PERPETUAL"/>
    <xs:enumeration value="CREDIT_DAYS"/>
    </xs:restriction>
    </xs:simpleType>
    And client site generated by WLS ant task "generate-from-wsdl" with "JAXRPC" option and when I use calling of this client and exeption was appeared:
    FaultString [com.company.DurationType] FaultActor [null] Detail [<detail><java:string>java.lang.ClassCastException: com.company.DurationType</java:string></detail>];
    Note: all other messages are correct.
    thx

    Hi,
    I had the same error as you. I'm agree with arvind_India (previous). You must :
    1. Define a correct Connection Pool (warning: deploy it on your managed server).
    2. Test your connection Pool on your managed server.
    3. Create a DataSource from your connection Pool.
    4. Deploy your DataSource on your managed server.
    5. Verify the JNDI TREE of your managed server (Now, the JNDI name of your dataSource must appair).
    6. Deploy your Entity Bean (the error has disapeared).

  • WebLogic 9.0 clientgen and Holders

    I am trying to generate client proxy using clientgen Ant task. The generated
    code fails to compile and complains that it can not find the Holder for the
    custom type I had in the WSDL. The WebLogic8.1 clientgen generates the
    Holders, but the 9.0 clientgen task does not generate the Holders. How do I
    get the 8.1 to generate the Holders for custom types?

    Rob,
    Sorry for the late response. Below is the WSDL and ant build file for
    WebLogic9.0 that is used to generate and compile the client. It seems to
    fail in document bare case when there is only one part in the output message
    whose name is same as one of the input message parts. This is generated from
    .NET method signature void RetByteArrayRef(byte[] inByteArray, ref byte[]
    refByteArray);

  • XA-problem (XAER_OUTSIDE) with Weblogic 6.1 and Informix

    Hi all!
    I'm having a problem with the Informix XA-driver (com.informix.jdbcx.IfxXADataSource)
    running inside my Weblogic 6.1 sp3 and using an old Informix Database (7.31).
    I get this error when I try to use the datasource/pool that I have defined:
    SQLException: SQLState() vendor code(-9)
    java.sql.SQLException: XA error: XAER_OUTSIDE : The resource manager is doing
    work outside global transaction start() failed on resource 'xaTestPool2' null
    My pool and datasource are defined as follows:
    <JDBCTxDataSource EnableTwoPhaseCommit="true" JNDIName="ds1" Name="ds1" PoolName="xaTestPool1"
    Targets="TestServer1"/>
    <JDBCConnectionPool DriverName="com.informix.jdbcx.IfxXADataSource" MaxCapacity="10"
    Name="xaTestPool1" Properties="user=usr;password=pwd;url=jdbc:informix-sqli://host:9900/dbname:informixserver=dbserver;dataSourceName=xaTestPool1;portNumber=9900;databaseName=dbname;ifxIFXHOST=host;serverName=dbserver"
    SupportsLocalTransaction="true" Targets="TestServer1"/>
    Any clues, anyone?
    thanks in advance/

    Problem resolved, upgraded my Informix JDBC-Driver to version 2.21JC3.

    According to the documentation for my database (Informix OnLine 7.31.UD4)
    it should
    support XA (setting the parameter HETERO_COMMIT=1).
    Still, my problem is there.
    There is one strange thing though.
    The problem that I described previously occur the second time I run my
    EJB-TestClient.
    The first time it works fine and data is written to the Database but
    on a second
    run, the XAER_OUTSIDE occurs.
    Any leads?

    Your database has also to be XA enabled. Is it so?
