Webutil error - Haven't found this one posted

I am having a webutil error that is very difficult to diagnose.
I am running the wu_test_106 demo from oracle. The Client Info tab works, and the 'Files in user.home' button works in the Files tab.
However, the client_get_file_name call (the ... button on the Builtins tab) does not work (and won't work in my own form).
There are no errors on the application server, no errors come up in the form, and no errors show in the Java console.
When you click this button that makes the client_get_file_name call, the form locks up. No other action is apparent. You have to manually kill the process just to close the form.
Any ideas?

When posting please be sure to include details so that we can assist. This is the same if you contact Support. Far more information is needed in order for anyone to be able to assist. For example here are just a few questions which need answers:
o What is the COMPLETE Forms version you are using? This can be found in the Java Console when running a form (assuming the form starts). Do not simply say "10g" or "9i". These are not product versions - these are product names.
o What is the COMPLETE WebUtil version you are using? This can be found in the Java Console when running a form (assuming the form starts).
o What is the client platform and version?
o Which browser and version is used on the client machine?
o Which JRE and version is used to run the form (+e.g. Oracle Jinitiator 1.3.1.30, Sun JRE 1.5.0_17+)?

10.6.4 - My issue, haven't seen this one posted yet.

I did the Safari upgrade last week and had no problems with it. I can't say it was significantly faster but it was certainly usable (and I enjoyed the reader mode). However, yesterday, I updated to 10.6.4 onto my MacBook Pro. Everything seemed normal until I was in Safari and accidentally typed the command for special characters and then the window for that function blinked on and off every 10 or 15 seconds but it shows as if it was still loading and then Safari became sluggish. So I quit and reopened Safari but the window still appeared as before. So I did a full reset of the computer but it was much slower to respond in every application and even with Safari turned off, the blinking window still appears. I installed Firefox, same thing. The only 3rd party plug-in I have is 1Password. My only option I can see is to reinstall the OS from the disc but I have vital programs (Creative Suite) that I cannot reload from their discs and I cannot afford to be without them for any length of time.
I have read of folks doing all sorts of command hacks to work around various symptoms but with so many folks at the same time having similar problems, I feel that doing something similar (which I admit I have no real understanding of) would only lead me down the path to more issues.
I hope there is some answer to these issues soon.

Also, I ran Onyx and did all of the maintenance and cache clearing and whatnot that it does.

I just received my acer aspire 1 netbook and i wanted to download firefox. I have used firefox before on my acer laptop but for some reason when I try to download it now i receive an error message similar to this one: :"unable to open this internent site. The requested site is either unavailable or can not be found" I tried downloading versions 3.6 and 4 beta and received the same message.

If you have been previously using iCloud with your old phone, then when you login to your iCloud account with your new phone all the data from the services you were using will be added to your new phone.

WebUtil Error Bean Not Found

Dear All,
i am facing a problem of running webutil functions. I have compiled my webutil.pll and then attach to my form and then i copy the webtuil.olb objects into my
form and i created one button on my form to show the calculator the code is as follows
Note: i have webutil.cfg in my classpath of default.env file and i signed both webtuil.jar and jacob.jar successfully but still i am facing error.
e.g;
when-button-press
webutil_host.host('calc.exe');
error: oracle.forms.webutil.host HOST bean not found.
WEBUTIL_HOST.execute will not work.

Without any other details about your system, my guess would be one or more of the four non-Apple kernel extensions are your problem:

From the log, something seems to have replaced the AppleUSBAudio driver, so it may be a combination of some of these four that are causing the panics.

You can just use the storage without syncing.
Open the Creative Cloud desktop application, click on the gear icon to bring up the menu, and choose Preferences. In the Preferences dialog click on the Files tab. For Sync On / Off choose Off.
To upload files for storage you will use a web browser instead of sync. Open the Files page at https://creative.adobe.com/files. You can upload files using Upload from the Actions menu. Alternatively you can drag and drop files from Windows Explorer or Mac OS X Finder.

IPod 2G 16GB broken, browsed and haven't found this scenario

Here's the details of what's going on with my iPod if anyone can help:
Yesterday at 3:00 pm: Downloaded free version of Solitaire onto my iPod. Played game of Solitaire. Turned off iPod.
6:00 pm: Turned on iPod, white screen. Turned off iPod. Turned on iPod, white screen. Turned off iPod. Turned on iPod, white screen. Turned off iPod.
6:10 pm: Got online to read advice. First tried hard restart by holding down both home and power buttons at the same time. No change, iPod still going from white to off.
Plugged iPod into computer to restore. iPod gets halfway through restore, disconnects from itunes as if it isn't being recognized. After that instance, iPod will not turn on at all. I keep trying to restore it, it keeps cutting off halfway as if not being recognized. My iPod still remains off. It's one year and one month old, it has sustained zero water damage as well as zero physical damage.
I hate my life. Please help?

You need to put it into recovery mode and go from there.
1. Unplug it from your computer.
2. Hold down the sleep/wake button and turn it off when the slider appears (may not happen, if not, go to the next step.
3. Start iTunes
4. Hold down the Home button and keep holding it down while you plug your touch back into your computer. Continue to hold it down until you get a message from iTunes - "an iPod has been detected in Recovery Mode..." Follow the on screen instructions and restore it.

Illustrator error message - anyone seen this one before?

I was merrily working on my logo yesterday in CS4, saved it as an .ai file, closed it down and now today when I go to open it I get this:
"acrobat pdf file format is having difficulties. Object label badly formatted."
Has anyone seen this before and have a way of fixing it? I went to my backups and they are all the same, not sure what else to do!!

External media: It is always recommended here to open/save from/to own hard disk, and to copy from/to networks and removable media. You may be lucky (for a while), but the chances of file corruption and other unpleasantnesses are immensely greater when you use anything but the harddisk, and it is better to be safe than sorry.
In addition to the (far greater) risk of file corruption, some issues are mentioned here:

If you transfer by external means it is always safest to zip/compress the file to avoid corruption.

Error:target not found

I installed archlinux using VirtualBox on Ubuntu 10.10
After installation when I try to install sudo using pacman I get an error
error:could not open file /var/file ....
error:target not found

Is this the exact error message? If not, please post the exact one.
Is /var mounted? Is there some space on it? Does the /var/file ... exist? Do you have problems with just sudo - can you install other packages?

"Error: NameValue not found"

Hi,
I am having a problem where I have been asked to modify an application. And I am unable to compile. I am using JDev 10.1.3 and I am getting the following error.
"Error: NameValue not found"
This is the whole error code.
I have looked through the .sjp for clues and the only item that looks like it might use NameValue is the code:
NameValue[] linkParams = new NameValue[pHmParam.size()];
So I googled NameValue and the only api I could find was this:

This website says that the "org.openi.util.NameValue" is part of "java.lang.Object" and as I understand java.lang is automatically imported to all java projects. So shouldn't the NameValue class be imported automatically too.
Does anyone know why I might be getting this error?

What that link says is that NameValue extends java.lang.Object, not is "a part of."
If that is in fact the NameValue, then you need the OpenI libraries (of which that NameValue you linked is a part): http://openi.org/
there is also a NameValue class in Apache Jackrabbit... Have a look at the imports in your Java class/jsp for some clues as to what it is, I guess.

Adobe web chat come up with a solution.
Open the PP project.
Export your sequence or project as a Final Cut Pro XML file.
Set up a new PP project.
Import the Final Cut Pro XML file.
This will get you back up an running.
Since getting back to editing this project I have found that some things will be lost or change in using XML:
You will lose position key framing, black video clips, dissolve fx, audio levels, audio dynamic fx, the ability to open a multi camera clip and change the camera view.
You will keep cut points, crop fx.
Not perfect but only took a couple of hours to save 3 days work.

Item cost not found for one or more items - Inventory Posting

Good Day Mentors,
My user has encountered an error during Inventory Posting and its "Item cost not found for one or more items".
The specific Message ID from SAP's System Message Log is 10001287.
I found a similar post which addresses this error here.
But unfortunately it did not help me solve my user's problem.
I already checked if the items had a defined "Item Cost" in the Item Master Data Inventory Tab, and they all have "Item Cost" defined.
I'm not sure if this will help, but below is the Inventory Audit Report of one of the items that is throwing the "Item cost not found" error.
I am not a business consultant neither am I literate in accounting, so thanks for the patience.

I've already verified in our production database the points you made:
- Is the "Manage Item cost per warehouse" selected in the Basic Initialization Screen?

- Is the "Manage Inventory by Warehouse" ticked/checked in the "Inventory Data" tab of the "Item Master Data" screen?

* I apologize for not have been able to give this information upfront.
Anyway, the database only has one warehouse at the moment.
I've checked the items, like the item in the screen shot above, and it does have an item cost.
