Weird Screen after logon in Infoview on IIS 6.0

Hi, We are using BOXI R2 SP3. On one web server when I login then I see a very weird screen. I can successfully enter the Infoview and instead of showing my home screen its showing a similar login screen but instead of box to enter UserID/Pwd it has written Administrator with a "Log Off" button. When I click on logoff then again the login screen appears. When I enter my useriID/pwd then again the screen with "Log Off" button in the middle appears.  I am unable to get my home screen. I am using Administrator UserID. We are on .NET Infoview.
Please let me know if anyone has seen this type of Infoview screen.
Thanks,

After removing IE security from windows add/remove component I am not getting this error message.

  • Win 8.1 pro 64bit desktop blank screen after logon

    Hi all
I have an ASUS P7H55M/USB 3 MB with i5 CPU 4Gig RAM NVIDEA 210 graphics card with latest drivers.
My OS as above being an upgrade from 7 pro to win 8 pro then downloading win 8.1 from the store in the last three months.
In the last few days I suddenly cant access my start screen/desktop after login. Even the usual custom page before the login is a generic blue background so none of my customized profiles shows its customized look.
    Again, desktop/startscreen black/blank.
Able to access my files via ctrl alt del etc.
Been reading up and doing restore etc as suggested on various sites including malware scans NO JOY.I even tried to just run a repair using my win 8 pro upgrade disc but the system wont allow something like invalid media or something and I don't have media
for win 8.1 pro as mentioned.
Can anyone suggest a solution please? or am I going to have to reinstall with all the internet data bundle costs included?

A problem seen mostly be nVidia users seems to be that the screen being viewed is the secondary of an Extended display, e.g. with the primary being either another monitor or a phantom.  Try pressing Win-P, CursorUp, Enter as if you can display and use
the Project dialog to shift from Extend to Duplicate.  There should at least be a screen refresh after the Enter.

Ah.  That sounds like another problem symptom.  Users of third-party system modifications saw this recently when there was an update to some kernel modules.  So, presumably explorer.exe is not running then?  And restarting it fails?
Event Viewer could be started then and it might give you some clues.  Otherwise if you do have system modifications try uninstalling them.
    Good luck

  • Blank Screen after logon for all but the Administrator

I have two new PC’s loaded with Windows 8.1 IT Pro.  My normal setup process after registration is to add the PC to our domain, Install Trend Micro Anti-virus, apply all updates, install business applications, and then create a domain user account.
After login onto the PC with the domain user I have the usual Win 8.1 dialog indicating it’s setting up apps and preparing for use.  After about 10 to 15 minutes of this dialog the screen goes blank, I’m sure it’s the screen saver, and then after alt-control-delete
and entering the user’s password the screen is blank.
I can alt-control-del and open task manager and run some task but not windows explorer.  I can restart in save mode and see the desktop and start screen but not in normal mode.  I have tried un-installing anti-virus, security updates, adding the
user to domain admins, and running msconfig and disabling all non-essential processes and service all with the same results.  I’m open for idea’s on what to try next.

    Hi,
This issue can be caused if the updates installed improperly, that corrupted user profile.
We can first try to scan system files by running following command as admin:
    SFC /SCANNOW
Any error message, please post back.
Also, I suggest we restore the system back to the point when the system work fine. Then, to determine which update cause this issue, we can set Windows update manually, and install them dichotomy in checked updates.
Please pay more attention on driver updates.
Hope these could help you to  find the root cause.

  • Blue Screen after logon to remote server

I had this problem and tried to find a solution on Google. I could not find any proper solution. But I was lucky and got the problem solved by chance. It was simple and easy and I would like to share this with the community, in case anyone needs it in future.
After you are loggedon to the remorte server, do the following
Press Ctrl+Alt+End and Task Manager will come up
    Click on New Task
    Click on Browse
    In Browser Search for Explorer
    Dobble click on: "C:\Users\zulha\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories\"
This will restore your Desktop. Desktop will not disappear after logoff.
    That was all folks.

  • Satego X200 - Blue Screen after Logon

    Hello,
i have some serious trouble with my Notebook. Whenever i try to logon i got a Bluescreen with STOP: 0x000007F (Hardware failure). I tested my Harddisks and my memory Modules with no Errors.
    OS is Windows 7 prof.
Do you have any advice for me?
    Greetings
    RezaArmin

Hmm possibly its something wrong with the motherboard
I dont know how you tested the memory modules but tools like memtest dont test the modules properly I mean the test should run some hours or longer to be 100% sure that the modules are ok.
However, you could try to reinstall a Windows OS once again in order to test the notebook. Maybe new OS installation would help you otherwise you will need an help from notebook technician but if the issue is really related to motherboard, then a part replacement can be a costly affair.

    OK. If you believe that.
When the disk is starting to die it can be bad for a moment and then be good for a while. If there was no problem while you were checking it of course it shows up good.
I tell you those are the signs of a disk that is about to die.

  • Black Screen after logging in locally to Windows 7 that previously had an open RDP session.

Here is what happens. I leave my home computer on (running Windows 7 Ultimate) and sometimes I will remote to it from another location (work, friends house, or wherever). When I return home, I will go to login, the screen then goes blank (no mouse cursor
or anything). I have to do a cold boot to get back into Windows. This only happens if I ever RDP into it sometimes during the day. It seems random. I've tried logging off the RDP session, just closing it without logging off, nothing seems to be the answer
in that regard. It seems very random at times. I'll go a week and I can come home and it will login fine with no problems. Then the next week it starts giving me the black screen after I come home and login locally. I've seen several black screen issues here,
but usually they are getting it before logon. Anyone have a clue what might be causing this?

  • Black screen after login and slow NAL

    Hi,
We have a problem which we think is ZFD related. Immediately after the
login there is a black screen presented and the pc appears to be doing
nothing. After 30 seconds or up to 3 minutes the desktop appears. At
that moment the NAL starts and again we have to wait for 1 to 5 minutes
    for the NAL to appear.
    Here are some figures:
    3300 users
    700 applications
    7 cluster servers
    NetWare 6.5 sp5 + nw65sp5upd1 + iscsi65sp5a
    GroupWise 7.0 sp1
    ZenWorks for Desktops 7.0 sp1
(and iPrint, BorderManager 3.8, NetMail 3.5.2, Identity Manager 3.01)
    Windows XP sp2 fully patched
    Office 2003
    Novell Client 4.91 sp2 + pkc
We are using DLU. The difference in the delay times is because of
hardware. On older hardware you'll have to wait longer. That makes sense
but keep in mind the oldest hardware is still a P4 1,6 with 256Mb RAM.
But 1 and a half minute extra startup time for a brand new pc is still
    quite a lot.
We have had an expert at our site. The obvious like SLP, DNS was not our
problem. He took some traces and again no problems found. There are some
posts with ZFD 6.5 which mentions this black screen but no solution is
    provided.
Most of our applications are associated with the users' container.
    Anyone please?
    Joost Sannen

    Hi Craig,
We'll follow up your advice and let you know. Currently I'm at home with
the flew so you have to wait for it.
    Thanks,

Furthermore, you can try to update BIOS for your machine?

  • Can I use xbootmgr to measure what causes a failure to present credentials screen after ctrl-alt-del?

    Hello,
I have several machines that are producing the same issue that when a user reboots, they are greeted as usual with the "please press ctrl-alt-del to logon" screen.  When that key combination is hit, the info screen is gone, but the "User
logon box" never appears.  By never, I mean it doesn't appear within 2-5 minutes, and the users tend to hard reboot their computers (generally leading to more problems).
I've read that this can be caused by a variety of issues, such as DNS, cable, speed negotiation with the switch port, etc.  However, I am interested in learning if I can use xperfmgr to determine the issue.
From my testing, the ETL is only written once a user logs on to the system.
The invocation I used is as follows:
    "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Windows Performance Toolkit\xbootmgr.exe" -trace boot -traceflags base+latency+dispatcher -stackwalk profile+cswitch+readythread -notraceflagsinfilename -postbootdelay 10 -nopopups -resultPath C:\Boot_Trace
Is it possible to use xbootmgr to measure this situation?
    Thanks,
    Matt

    Hi,
Yes, this tool could to be used to record the boot information.
    Let's make clear something below.
    1. Could you see this screen after pressing "Ctrl+Alt+Delete":
    2. Did you mean that the password inbox disappear?
    3. Could you see above login screen when you start the computer normally?
If all is Ok when you start computer, the xbootmgr.exe - trace boot is not applied.
    Meanwhile, go to  Clean Boot
to see if there is some third-party software to troubleshoot.

  • Weird screen redraws

    hi folks.
mac newbie here...so please be kind!
anyhow, whenever I'm recording an audio track, and the screen pages to the next screen after a scroll, I ALWAYS get leftovers on the screen from the previous page (weird waveform bits and things).
is there some setting in the Mac that I need to change so my Logic screen redraws are clean? and not have little bits of graphics everywhere?
    thanks!!
    cheers
    rich

Is this only during recording? If so I can comfort you. Logic until today cannot draw the waveform perfect in realtime during recording and this sometimes looks strange. I would call it an adumbration of the waveform. When the recording is finished usually you get a clear picture.
It will be changed in the 2013 update, as far as I know

  • SAP BPC 10.0 Web Client Blank Screen after login

    Hi ALL,
We are using SAP BPC 10.0 Web Client with Adobe Flash Player 13.0.0.214 with IE 9.0 on Windows 7.0.
We face strange error where on only on certain PC, the BPC web client working.. On other getting Blank/Blank Screen after login (with "movie not loaded" on the adobe flash player).. Both PCs are having the same setting.
Even one of PC which previously working, starting this week suddenly getting the same error.. I have created OSS message and got feedback with also share this problem on this forum.
    I have done several actions as mentioned on several SAP notes )1624267, 1664889, 1681147, 1694871, 1752971, 1798336, 1804221, 1806371, 1811218, 1820505, 1918631, 1968584), but still no luck..
If you have the same issue, kindly share..
    Thanks and regards,
    Hery

Yes .. Compatibility View also checked.. in several PCs, it is working well. both failed and working PCs have the same setting.
Just found another weird: in one working PC, 2 different windows local-admin users login to the same PC for BPC-web and getting different result (1 Ok ; 1 failed) ..seems it is related with the user profile and login-domain servers (we have multiple login-domain servers with load balancing mechanism).
    Thanks and regards,

  • How to know whether first time to excute a Tcode after logon

    Now i need do a BDC (Tcode:ABUMN)
when i first excute the ABUMN after logon, the first dynpro is 300(need input a company code)
And after first run , when i excute ABUMN again, it will skip the company screen(300) automatically
    How to judge it?

    Hi,
As far as I can see, the transaction reads the company code an then saves this comp. code in a static variable.
Since you are using LSMW I see two solutions:
If you use LSMW interactively (e. g. during initial load), you have to start ABUMN manually once before starting your BDC.
Otherwise you have to call ABUMN once - only to enter the company code - and ignore erros (e. g. if DYNPRO 300 isn't shown), then start the "real" BDC.
Hope this helps (please reward me if it does).

  • T400 system hangs at POST screen after updating BIOS 7UET82WW

I have 3 GB memory and Win-7 Ultimate 32 bit OS installed in my T400 system. Recently I had updated the latest BIOS 7UET82WW thru TVSU and ended up with a serious problem. The BIOS update itself was succesfull, but right after reboot my problems started.
    1. The system hangs during startup in POST screen and sometimes boots into OS after a long wait  (20-30 mins)
    2. When I try to press F2 to enter the BIOS, i get a long beep for about 10 seconds and screen becomes white
    3. White screen garbage disappears in few seconds and blinking cursor stays for long time (around 20 -30 mins)
In net, I have to wait for around 30 mins for the system to boot into OS everytime. If I interupt in between by pressing any key, long beep and white screen garbage appears. I am not able to enter the BIOS as well.
After logon to the OS, everything seems to be absolutely perfect. But the problem comes back after reboot or hibernate and resume the system.
Appreciate any solution or feddback from anyone.

My T500 did this as well after the update.  I went into the bios and loaded all the defaults, rebooted.  Went back into the bios and reset my options (discrete only, turn off some unused features) and the system is working normally and Vista is booting as quickly as it had been before the update (and actually can accomplish a reboot).
