Weird stuff. Please help.
To convert from int to double, I usually take the easy street by multiplying 1.0 and it always work. But for this particular code:
for (int loop = 0; loop <= 9; loop++) {
double range = loop / 10.0; //this seems to be the problem. Variations include _loop * 1.0 / 10_ & _loop * 0.1_
System.out.print(range);
System.out.print(array[loop]);
}Expected Output:
_Range_ _Array_
0.0 array[0]
0.1 array[1]
0.2 array[2]
0.3 array[3]
0.4 array[4]
0.5 array[5]
0.6 array[6]
0.7 array[7]
0.8 array[8]
0.9 array[9]But the output in my system is:
_Range_ _Array_
0.0 array[0]
0.1 array[1]
0.2 array[2]
0.300000000004 array[3]
0.4 array[4]
0.5 array[5]
0.600000000001 array[6]
0.700000000001 array[7]
0.8 array[8]
0.9 array[9]As if the doubles are off by a weenie bit randomly.
I had tried
loop * 1.0and the result goes perfectly.
0.0
1.0
2.0
3.0
...So, whats going on?

I think formatting to one decimal point is a good idea. Where can I learn more about it?
Google?
As for learning more about floating points, here's one article: [http://www.javaworld.com/javaworld/jw-10-1996/jw-10-hood.html]

when ever i touch for example appstore it touches safari. i press home button the my phone does what ever it wants, like goes to settings and presses random stuff please help. :(
Try restarting it. If this does not work, then hard restart it which is holding the power and home button until the product ***** off. If this does not help either, plug it into the computer and restore it. Make sure you back up the device before you restore it though! Here are instructions on how to restore and back up an apple device. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1414

I installed Mackeeper to help with these issues but unfortunately, it seems that its part of the problem.
You don't have LS installed. The immediate culprits are the third party installations that installed these kext's.
com.zeobit.kext.Firewall 2.0.1
com.sophos.kext.sav 7.3.0
com.cisco.nke.ipsec 2.0.3
com.checkpoint.kext.P4MacFilterScheme 1.0
com.checkpoint.kext.FDECryptoco
So MacKeeper is always the first to go (com.zeobit.kext.Firewall).
Next sophos stuff.
Then the checkpoint stuff.
Finally the cisco stuff.
Booting in safe mode will suppress all this stuff that's quick way to see if one of these is the culprit. -
Weird issue/ please help!
So I am new with Adobe Premium CC 2014. I am editing my first video, a letsplay. The problem is with the facecam, that I put in corner of the video. At the beginning I synchronize facecam with sound of microphone and gameplay with its sound. So everything is together as it should be. But after few minutes, something is slowly happening with facecam part of the video. Even tho I did not cut or do enything to the video so far, the facecam is starting to being behind the sound and the gameplay. It was recordet together, so I don't understand why it is happening. And after like 10 minutes, the facecam is like 3-4 second behind other stuff! It is like it's slowing down or I do not know. :-/ Can you help me, because I was trying solve this for 2 days and I just do not know anymore. Maybe I am just stupid, but I don't think this is normal!! Please help / thanx.
What recording software and codec are you using?
Exactly what is INSIDE the video you are editing?

my mac pro is making a cough-like sound at random times. i think it might be a notification sound but i can't seem to figure out what it is, and it's starting to get really annoying. ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM MAY BE? PLEASE HELP!
You computer model number or year? Version of OS X you're running? You said in the original post that these sounds are at random times, so I'll assume this isn't due to some sound effect setting in System Preferences. Open up the Console (in Launchpad > Utilities assuming you're running Lion) and select All Messages. If there is a common entry that appears in Console at the same time these noises are produced, report back what it is and someone may be able to help you. If not, I'm mystified - hardware problem?

Try enabling the Hebrew keyboard from Settings > General > Keyboard > International Keyboards.
If it's still not working the way you want, just leave feedback here -> Apple - Pages for iOS - Feedback -
My macbook pro is making a weird sound, please help?
Hello,
i have an early 2011 model, it was running soo fine until now.
its making a weird sound, to describe, it sounds like a small *trrr* at normal state, and at high, intense states, (playing games..) it turns into a loud *trrrrrr*, but, if i hit it gently over the keyboard, it goes away, then comes back.
please, i dont have an apple retail store in my country, i need help from here, help me.first thing to do is to buy a new hard drive and an external drive before it fails so you won't lose your files.
once you've done that, put the new hard drive in the external drive and open disk utility.
format/erase your new hard drive as MAC OS EXTENDED Journaled.
After that has been done, open carbon copy (if you don't have it, you can download it for free).
Once carbon copy is open, click on clone your hard drive. Source drive is what you're using now and your target drive is your new hard drive.
Once carbon copy is done, turn off your macbook, open the back of your macbook, take off the hard drive and install your new hard drive.
After you've done all those, turn your macbook back on and you're back in business. -
Typeof == "movieclip" ...some weird issue (please help)
my movieclips (mc1, mc2, mc3, mc4, mc5, click) are this (mainMap.map.pan) deep. so when i am defining my movieclips i != "click" ie, should not be "click" movieclip inside mainMap.map.pan, however when i am tracing on rollover, it output "click" movieclip, please someone help me picking all other movieclips other than "click" from my mainMap.map.pan
(all i am trying to do is, when one rollover on any of the mc1, mc2, etc, in my toolTipMC should display information as per the XML elements.)
mc = mainMap.map.pan;
for (i in mc) {
if (typeof (mc[i]) == "movieclip" && i != "click") {
myBtn = mc[i];
myBtn._alpha = 100;
this.useHandCursor = false;
myBtn.txt = titles[i];
myBtn.txt2 = details[i];
myBtn.img = images[i];
myBtn.onRollOver = function() {
if (miniMap._visible) {
this.useHandCursor = false;
toolTipMC._x = point.x;
toolTipMC._y = point.y;
toolTipMC._visible = true;
trace(i); //for some reasons it is still giving me "click"
toolTipMC.img.imgHolder.loadMovie(this.img);
toolTipMC.tip.text = titles[this.txt2];
toolTipMC.detail.text = details[this.txt];
}else{
this.useHandCursor = false;
//myBtn._alpha=100;
//myBtn.setRGB(0x003366);becaues i is not "click" when that conditional resolves to true. and that value of i is unrelated to the value of i when you click your button.
try the following if you still don't understand:
mc = mainMap.map.pan;
for (i in mc) {
if (typeof (mc[i]) == "movieclip" && i != "click") {
myBtn = mc[i];
myBtn._alpha = 100;
this.useHandCursor = false;
myBtn.txt = titles[i];
myBtn.txt2 = details[i];
myBtn.img = images[i];
// save the value of i when this executes;
myBtn.ivar = i;
myBtn.onRollOver = function() {
if (miniMap._visible) {
this.useHandCursor = false;
toolTipMC._x = point.x;
toolTipMC._y = point.y;
toolTipMC._visible = true;
trace("value of i when loop was running: "+this.ivar+" :: value of i after loop has long finished: "+i);
toolTipMC.img.imgHolder.loadMovie(this.img);
toolTipMC.tip.text = titles[this.txt2];
toolTipMC.detail.text = details[this.txt];
}else{
this.useHandCursor = false;
//myBtn._alpha=100;
//myBtn.setRGB(0x003366);

Is there anyone that can tell me a little bit about what is going on?I've restored it several times with no backup at all and it doesn't seem to help. Almost all of my apps crash I have deleted almost all of them hoping if it was a memory prob it would be fixed but no the main one is safari it crashes all the time. It also just acts really weird. When I am typing anything on safari the letters will drag and then slowly catch up when I'm typing. It will also go to a different kind of screen format like its trying to figure out if it's a computer or phone when I rotate the screen. I have go in and delete the website data and clear everything almost everyday and it still does this. Hope that helps, if you have any idea on what's going on or any other advice on how to fix I'd love the help thanks

Touch pad has a weird problem, please help!!!
I am a Volunteer here, not employed by HP.
You too can become an HP Expert! Details HERE!
If my post has helped you, click the Kudos Thumbs up!
If it solved your issue, Click the "Accept as Solution" button so others can benefit from the question you asked!Sounds like you need to restart the TouchPad. You can do this by holding the power button + the center button together for 20 seconds (yes, it takes a LONG time). This is a hardware initiated reset and won't require any screen taps.

AHHHH MISSING STUFF Please help me!
i downloaded like 5 tc shows, and when i used my ipod, the catogory for tv shows was gone, what do i do ?!?!? please help
You may have set your iPod to sync only unwatched episodes.
Connect your iPod, then when the summary screen appears click on the TV shows tab.
Change the preference to what suits you best. -
3D rendering - weird shadow, please help.
Hello. Just a day ago I've ran into a weird shadow when rendering on cc. This is what I usually do for a simple 3d text.
Create the text > 3d extrusion.
background layer > postcard
select the two layer and merge
render
That's all the step I took and it used to render fine. Just yesterday there's been a weird horizon shadow right in the middle that's being created. See http://d.pr/i/quSQ
I'm not sure from what. I've resseted perference. Uninstall (along with deleting preference) and reinstall, no luck.
Also I'm running on os x 10.9.1Do you have any Image Based Lighting or Environment Lighting set up? I see shadows between all the letters.
That's a neat effect where you have the top and bottom of the letters lighting the base. Now I'm trying to figure out how you managed that without the edges of the letters looking lit up.

Weird screen please help really desperate
I recently plugged my i pod touch in and wen i got back it had this weird screen that i cannot change and therefore cant do all that this amazing device offers... this screen is the white usb portion of the charger cable that u plug into the computer goin up and then the itunes symbol thank you for your effort!!!
Actually the screen you are seeing is telling you that you must connect to iTunes to restore your touch. Since you are getting and error when you try to connect, you need to look at your computer and see if it is running Apple Mobile Device Services (this handles the communication between the iPod and iTunes). Follow the steps in this tech article to make sure that your computer is working correctly before you plug your iPod back in: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1567

Hello,
I have had my Blackberry Pearl 8120 for just less than 2 years now. I got it originally from TMobile on a one year contract and since then moved to ATT. Therefore, I am out of warranty now.
The call button does not work. It clicks. But when it clicks, the number 4 appears on screen.
The menu button does not work. It clicks too and when it clicks, the number 1 appears on screen.
The track ball moves well and I can scroll horizontally. The vertical scroll seems to work sometimes and does not work sometimes.
However, when I scroll horizontally, it appears as if magically the number 7 gets pressed. More I scroll, the more number 7's I see on the screen.
The "back" key (between the trackball and the end-call button) also clicks. But when it clicks, a fat grey arrow pointing upwards shows in the top, right corner of the screen. The arrow vanishes as soon as the key is released.
The escape/end-call button works the way it should usually.
I cannot make any calls because the call key does not work. I can however use the voice dial feature to call numbers (It is however, very inconvenient). When there are incoming calls, no matter what key I press, the call is not answered.
I did battery pullout and it did not change matters. I upgraded the device software to whatever it was (Sorry, forgot to note down the old software version) to the latest I could find on the RIM site (v4.5). Also, I have not installed any apps in over a year.
I also noticed that the water damage indicator on the battery has a pink line. This is new. The water damage indicator on the phone however is plain white.
I used the phone earlier today when I was just out of gym and very sweaty. I am assuming this is the cause for the battery indicator to turn pink.
Are there any solutions at all to whatever problem I am facing? Is there some way to re-map the keys to their original functions?
I read about the "rice-method" and I will give it a try. But before that, I would like to hear any other suggestions that the forum can provide me.
Hoping to hear something useful,
Thanks,

5. Back up capabilities-
if you know anything about this stuff please help me out i would greatly appreciate it. and have a great turkey day everybody.XDNo one will do your work for you, particularly if it is schoolwork.
You would be cheating and whatever grade you might get would be false because it wouldn't be your work.
Here is the link to Oracle's documentation page.
From there you can get to the documentation for Solaris 11.
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/documentation/solaris-11-192991.html
There is a lot of OS documentation there, so you had better start reading.
It will take some time for you to eventually undertand it all.
