Weird utility - change grub selection for next boot

I have a box that some remote developers are going to be using for testing. they are windows developers, so no command line access or editing menu.lst. They are testing using different distributions (to test different web browsers in "different environments" - don't ask, I can't convince them). I was hoping for a nice GUI client that will edit menu.lst for them, so they can reboot to the different distros. Anything like this?

I'm not sure if its exactly what you need, but openSuSE has a utility called grubonce. It lets you select the OS to run at next boot only, subsequent boots use the default. Its a CLI tool and can't be run within windows. I've knocked together a little kdialog script that adds a basic GUI to it. E-mail me if you're interested and I'll send it along.

Changing Pernr-selection for PUST

Hey guys,
I don't know if it is technical possible, but I want to change the Pernr-selection in my PUST transaction.
When you start the Process Model, you need to pass for which pernr's you want to execute it.
Well after the second process, I want to change that selection. Instead of the pernr's that I've filled in, i want that the third and fourth process are handled with different pernr's.
Is this technical possible? I allready tried to change the content of the tables, but I keep getting stucking with the buffer table of the PUST-program.

For MDG-C and S I only have this popup when is related to creation process. When is a update the standard change request is considered for the process.

Hello Fabiano,
You will get this pop-up only if you have more than one CR type linked to the corresponding business activity. If you only have one CR type, then that CR type opens up by default.

You may also want to investigate other ways. Places such as Best Buy, Amazon and Walmart will all give you store credit for your used device to be used towards a new one. the 'how much' depends on the condition of the old one.

[Solved...sort of]Changing grub and console resolution during boot

I recently purchased a new monitor that runs at 1920x1080, my older monitor was at 1920x1200, and when I boot now I end up with a boxed output, black borders on each side. This influences how my grub looks and how my terminal looks at startup. I've changed the settings so my WM looks and works properly, but I am not sure how to change, or update, the resolution for my boot-up process. I could use some assistance. Thanks!

Well I found out that I can only change my resolution in grub based on what is shown in vbeinfo when booting with grub. The strange thing is that the resolution being used is 1920x1080x32, which is the recommendedd, and max resolution of my monitor. I also noticed my BIOS splash screen is also being shown with black borders on all sides.

Well it looks like this is problem with OCD on my monitor, and my NVIDIA card. Looks like it's pretty wide spread without any real solution. I'll mark this as solved since this has nothing to do with grub or linux settings.

I think the issue could be stemming from the monitor and bios are interacting, since my bios splash screen starts with the black border, and then grub inherits the screen properties, and then in turn linux inherits these settings before my video card finally kicks in after tty and x starts.

Go to SPRO>Production>Material Requirements Planning>Plant Parameters> Carry Out Overall Maintenance of Plant Parameters and execute. (Transcation OPPQ)
Select Maintain and give the plant
Select External procurement Tab and select Unknown account assignment.
But, you need account assignment for non-valuated material for external procurement.
Hope it solves your issue.

You can create an alias @icloud.com email address within your current account that will receive email in your current iCloud inbox (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mm6b1a490a). (@me.com addresses are no longer available as new addresses.) Just be aware that you cannot use an alias address later to create a new iCloud account or move it to a different account.
Also, even if you created a new iCloud account with a new ID, your existing purchases would not be lost. They are permanently tied to the original ID you used to purchase them. You can also continue to use the existing ID for the iTunes store; it does not need to be the same as the ID you use for iCloud.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)

My Photos app works the same on iOS 5 as it did on iOS 4 i.e. I can have a different track for each album. When I select a track for a photo album I then start the slideshow so that it shows the first couple of photos with the track playing - I'm not sure it's necessary to start the slideshow but I always do and it remembers that track for that album.

How do I change the "gray" color selection for icons in Finder to brown?

Is there a way to change the selection of colors offered by the dropdown File menu for desktop and folder icons? I use a lot of color coding for the files and folders in my windows, and gray just looks like "dimmed out" to me.
I know how to get the color wheel in Microsoft Word (or the crayolas, or whatever). Is there a way to do that for Finder as well, without a lot of technical talk (ranges, percentages, etc.) that I can't understand? Thanks for any help out there!

Grey is not the only color showing up.
If you want more colors other than the ones found in Finder, you will need to use a 3rd party product. Something like CandyBar will do the trick or download colorful folders and icons. These softwares can be found on MacUpdate and by doing a Google search.

Can I change the select option text for pnp ldb ?

I am using a pnp logical database in my report and I have created my own hr category because i wanted to use field ename from the ldb in the selection screen. Now the problem with ename is I cant do a case sensitive search.
So I have replaced it with sname, so now my screen has sname instead of ename, however I want to change the selection text for select option ( at present it is 'EE name can be sorted' )

How do you change the music for an export from a selection of pictures?

I have iTunes and know how to change the music for a slideshow but if I select pictures from a folder and export to QuickTime how do I change the music?
There is an option to "Add currently selected music to movie" but it always plays the same tune. How do I get an option to select an iTunes song like with the Slideshow? Where are the slideshow sample music files stored? There are 11 files in the sample folder but I can't find any of them on my drive.

Maybe there is some confusion in what I'm telling you. There are two types of slideshows in iPhoto. One creates a special slideshow album that appears in the Source pane on the left side. This is not the one I'm talking about. (You create one of these slideshow albums when you select some photos and click the Slideshow icon (the one with a Plus sign on it) at the bottom of the iPhoto window.
The other slideshow is done from the main library window or from a regular album (not a slideshow album). You either select some photos (or a roll) from the Library or select an album (with a folder icon). Then click the Play button which is on the bottom right hand side of the iPhoto window.
If your Play button is on the left side, then you aren't using the correct one. The one that appears on the left side shows when you've selected a Slideshow Album from the source pane. This type of album has an icon that looks like a couple of slides (the kind you put in a projector).
Does that make a difference?

First, I found I had "img100.png" in C:\Windows\Web\Screen and

1. Belonging to the Administrators Group, I replaced file Owner TrustedInstaller with my Username on both "img100.png" files
2. After resizing the image I wanted to see on the Login screen to the resolution of "img100.png" file,
I copied and pasted it to both "img100.png" files keeping this way the format (extension) and resolution of the original "img100.png" file,
which I permanently deleted.
However, I have not been able to replace the img100.pgn in C:\Windows\Web\Screen even after taking ownership of it and setting the permissions for my userid to All. I edit it with mspaint and then try to save it. The save starts that then says the
save was interrupted.
The appears to be some additional protection besides the standard acls.
