iLife11 is SnowLeo 10.6.x (and therfore Intel only). Version 09 would be the last ppc 10.5.x compatible.
I for sure remember to have loaded the full ilife 06 suite on Leopard back then , it ran fine.
So you could look for any version from ilife 06 to ilife 09 to be on a safe side, they work all on Intel and PPC and also all on 10.5.x .
Of course the newer the version, the more features ( but the more power is needed ).

Photoshop Elements cannot load mts video and says I need to install the proper codec. What codec do I need and where do I find it?

I have a new Dell Inspiron with 8G memory and an Intel i7 processor. I just installed PSE12 and Premier12. I tried to import some video into the Organizer, but the thumbnails are just grey squares, and when I double-click, I get an error message that the system does not have the required codec installed. I don't know what codec this might be or where to find out. Any input on this would be greatly appreciated.
Let me add that I'm running Win 8.1 AND the Premier 12 package runs the video clips just fine. The problem seems limited to the Organizer display.

I know this is probably a simple question, but I just want to make sure I don't mess up my computer! I have an old school DV iMac, and bought the Mac OS X upgrade not too long after it came out (which is rather a while ago now!), but couldn't install it became I don't have enough RAM. And I obviously have just put it off and off. Now I'm at uni, and want the computer to work as well as it can for my mum, because she's even worse than me when it comes to computers. So, anyway, I need RAM. What type do I need and where can I get it from fairly cheaply? And how much would you recommend I get? My friend says he knows how to put it in, so all okay there hopefully/

Processor info: PowerPC G3
Machine speed: 400MHz
OS: 9.2.2
Built-in memory: 64MB
I remember being able to get more details than this from somewhere on the computer, but I can't remember where...I haven't used it for 6 months or something, and am obviously getting forgetful.

I just bought some RAM from Crucial.
If you go to www.crucial.com/uk and follow the Crucial Memory Advisor Tool, you should be able to find the RAM for your Mac.
1 GB sticks are pretty good value at the moment (they've even gone down a few pounds since I bought mine a week ago) and if you enter this code (found it on aonther thread here) you might get a couple of pounds knocked off the total: CUSTOMPC
There's also places like Kingston & Cancom to try, as well as Misco.co.uk. But Crucial select the recommended RAM for your Mac.
Also, when you think you've found the right RAM and want to buy it, try the Apple agent chat, and double-check with them.

Is this your first Mac?
The iMac originally came with 32MB RAM (& can be increased to 128MB max) and OS 8.6. In theory (if you max out RAM) in can operate on OSs up to 10.3. I would recommend that you install OS 9.x.
To install OS 9.x you will need a retail version of the OS 9 installer (CD with white background & orange 9). Look on eBay or you can join LEM-Swap for buying & selling Mac stuff. http://groups.google.com/group/lemswap
After you join, post a WTB (want to buy).

When I try to open my project a message comes up saying that I need this "menu media-FIN-0000000f" file or the project cannot play properly. It will not even open all the way.

It is a render file. And what this means is that you exported a reference quicktime of a sequence instead of a self contained QT file, and one of the render files it references has been deleted or gone offline (this happens when a sequence no longer references the file). Only option is to delete the ref QT from your Browser and sequence.

Not exactly; in my yahoo email, in order for it to accept an address from another site to receive emails from, the settings there are required to put in a "POP server". This is what i don't get of what to put in that required field?

Printing photo from email by way of cell phone. Need to print on photo paper

New to forum and new to HP Printer (HP ENVY 7640). My question is, if my printer is loaded with both plain paper and photo paper, it automatically defaults to the plain paper when trying to print photos, by email from my cell phone. Do I need to remove the plain paper from my printer's tray in order to get it to print on the photo paper?

Hi, Looks like a Yes, you need to remove normal papers. I ran few tests on my loan Envy 7640 printer and it knows the size of photopaper I put in (from the printer screen) but it ONLY prints 4x6. Hope this answer your question. Regards.

Any dumbed down help would be greatly appreciated because I'm close to returning the base station time capsule thing. I can connect macs because I know the password, but friends with PCs can't connect, I can't connect a netbook or a blackberry because they all request this wep key. -Connect the ethernet form the windows PC to the Time Capsule.
-Update the Windows Computer to SP3 and then head to the Microsoft Update Support Site and then search WPA Patch or WPA 2 Patch
-Download and Install the patch
-discount the ethernet from the Time Capsule and try to rejoin the wireless network
-If still having issues then change the Time Capsule security settings
Or change the security on the Time Capsule From WPA to WEP (Uses WPA By Default)
Step to do this. On Mac
-Open finder and head to the Application folder
-Once in Applications Folder Please find the Utility Folder and open it.
-Now that we are in the Utility Folder please find a application called *Airport Utility* (Not airport admin utility)
-Please Open Airport Utility
-You should now see the time capsule on the left hand side of Airport Utility (AU)
-In The bottom left hand you will see a button that says *Manual Setup* please click on it.
-Once done reading the configuration file you should see the *Summary Page*
-Now there are some tab's please click on the *Wireless Tab*
-Now you should see lots of info don't worry we only need to change one thing and that the wireless security
-Right now it should say *WPA / WPA 2 Personal*
-PLEASE HOLD OPTION and use the MOUSE TO CLICK ON THE DROP DOWN FEILD
-Now you should see a a few security protocol Please select the *WEP (Transitional Security Network)*
-Enter a New Password this password may need to be 8 or 13 numbers / letters
-Now Click UPDATE
-Now you are using WEP
-NOTE: You may have to reselect your network using airport
-This Should Solve The Issues Let Me Know What Happen.
