What are campaigns related function modules ?

Hi,
I want to find out open campaigns and marketing attributes based on partner function i.e., owner responsible and these open documents I need assign to another owner responsible. Which function module I need to read the details and which fm is to change owner responsible.  Please guide me which fm i need to use how I can change to another employee responsible partner function.

Hi divya,
Check out the package CRM_MKTPL which will give you all the function modules of Marketing.

  • WHAT ARE THE UPDATED FUNCTION MODULES

    Hi Friends,
Can anybody explain me about UPDATED FUNCTION MODULES (types of function modules)

    Hi
    Update Function Module
Unlike transactions and executable programs, dialog modules do not start a new SAP LUW. Calls to update-task function modules from a dialog module use the same update key as the ones in the calling program. The result is that calls to update function modules from a dialog module are executed only if a COMMIT WORK statement occurs in the calling program.
If you place a COMMIT WORK in a dialog module, it does commit changes to the database (for example, with UPDATE).However, it does not start the update task. The function modules are not actually executed until a COMMIT WORK statement occurs in the calling program.
If you use dialog modules, try to avoid including calls to update function modules in subroutines called with PERFORM ON COMMIT. In general, any occurrence of PERFORM ON COMMIT(with or without update-task function calls) in a dialog module can be problematic.
This is because dialog modules have their own roll area, which disappears when the module finishes. Consequently, all local data (including data used for parameter values when calling an update function module) disappears as soon as the commit in the main program is reached.
If you must use this method in a dialog module (i.e. include the call to an update-task function in a subroutine), you must ensure that the values of the actual parameters still exist when the update-task function actually runs. To do this, you can store the required values with EXPORT TO MEMORY and then import them back into the main program (IMPORT FROM MEMORY) before the COMMIT WORK statement
    Creating Update Function Modules
To create a function module, you first need to start the Function Builder. Choose Tools ® ABAP Workbench, Function Builder. For more information about creating function modules, refer to the ABAP Workbench Tools documentation.
To be able to call a function module in an update work process, you must flag it in the Function Builder. When you create the function module, set the Process Type attribute to one of the following values:
    Update with immediate start
Set this option for high priority ("V1") functions that run in a shared (SAP LUW). These functions can be restarted by the update task in case of errors.
Update w. imm. start, no restart
Set this option for high priority ("V1") functions that run in a shared (SAP LUW). These functions may not be restarted by the update task.
    Update with delayed start
Set this option for low priority ("V2") functions that run in their own update transactions. These functions can be restarted by the update task in case of errors.
To display the attributes screen in the Function Builder, choose Goto ® Administration.
    Defining the Interface
Function modules that run in the update task have a limited interface:
Result parameters or exceptions are not allowed since update-task function modules cannot report on their results.
You must specify input parameters and tables with reference fields or reference structures defined in the ABAP Dictionary.

  • What are the different functions used in sap script?

    Hi,
What are the different functions used in sap script? What are the parameters used in each Function?
    Regards,
    Mahesh

he print program is used to print forms. The program retieves the necesary data from datbase tables, defines the order of in which text elements are printed, chooses a form for printing and selects an output device and print options.
    Function modules in a printprogram:
When you print a form you must used the staments OPEN_FORM and CLOSE_FORM. To combine forms into a single spool request use START_FORM and END_FORM.
To print textelements in a form use WRITE_FORM. The order in which the textelements are printed, is determined by the order of the WRITE_FORM statements. Note: for printing lines in the body, you can also use the WRITE_FORM_LINES function module.
To transfer control command to a form use CONTROL_FORM.
    Structure of a print program
    Read data
    Tables: xxx.
    SELECT *
    FROM xxx.
Open form printing - Must be called before working with any of the other form function modules.

To begin several indentical forms containing different data within a single spool request, begin each form using START_FORM, and end it using END_FORM
    call funtion 'START_FORM'.....
Write text elements to a window of the form
    call function 'WRITE_FORM'.....

  • What are the standard functions in XI ?

What are the standard functions in XI ?

    Hi,
The target field mapping is possible by using below typs of functions
    1. Standard functions
    2. Runtime procedure
    3. User Defined functions
Standard functions are the APIs provided in Graphical mapping to process the values of the fields used for target field mapping.
Technically all these values are trated as string thus all standard functions expect strings as input argument and string as an export aurgument
Please find here with you more details about it at below link

  • What are the Relations between Journalizing and IKM?

What is the best method to use in the following scenario:
I have about 20 source tables with large amount of data.
I need to create interfaces that join the source tables into target tables.
The source tables are inserted every few secondes with about hundreds to thousands rows.
There can be a gap of few seconds between the insert of different tables that sould be joined.
The source and target tables are on the same Oracle instance and schema.
I want to understand the role of: 'Journalizing CDC' and 'IKM - Incremental Update' and
how can i use it in my scenario?
In general What are the relations between 'Journalizing' and 'IKM'?
Should i use both of them? Or maybe it is better to deelte and insert to the target tables?
I want to understand what is the role of 'Journalizing CDC'?
Can 'IKM - Incremental Update' work without 'Journalizing'?
Does 'Journalizing' need to have PK on the tables?
What should i do if i can't put PK (there can be multiple identical rows)?
    Thanks in advance Yael

    Hi Yael,
I will try and answer as many of your points as I can in one post :-)
Journalizing is way of tracking only changed data in your source system, if your source tables had a date_modified you could always use this as a filter when scanning for changes rather than CDC, Log based CDC (Asynchronous in ODI, Logminer/Streams or Goldengate for example) removes the overhead of of placing a trigger on the source table to track changes but be aware that it doesnt fully remove the need to scan the source tables, in answer to you question about Primary keys, Oracle CDC with ODI will create an unconditional log group on the columns that you have defined in ODI as your PK, the PK columns are tracked by the database and presented in a Journal table (J$<source_table_name>) this Journal table is joined back to source table via a journalizing view (JV$<source_table_name>) to get the rest of the row (ie none PK columns) - So be aware that when ODI comes around to get all data in the Journalizing view (ie Inserts, Updates and Deletes) the source database performs a join back to the source table. You can negate this by specifying ALL source table columns in your PK in ODI - This forces all columns into the unconditional log group, the journal table etc. - You will need to tweak the JKM to then change the syntax sent to the database when starting the journal - I have done this in the past, using a flexfield in the datastore to toggle 'Full Column' / 'Primary Key Cols' to go into the JKM set up (there are a few Ebusiness suite tables with no primary key so we had to do this) - The only problem with this approach is that with no PK , you need to make sure you only get the 'last' update and in the right order to apply to your target tables, without so , you might process the update before the insert for example, and be out of sync.
So JKM's provide a mechanism for 'Change data only' to be provided to ODI, if you want to handle deletes in your source table CDC is usefull (otherwise you dont capture the delete with a normal LKM / IKM set up)
IKM Incremental update can be used with or without JKM's, its for integrating data into your target table, typically it will do a NOT EXISTS or a Minus when loading the integration table (I$<target_table_name>) to ensure you only get 'Changed' rows on the load into the target.

I want to understand the role of: 'Journalizing CDC' and 'IKM - Incremental Update' and
how can i use it in my scenario?Hopefully I have explained it above, its the type of thing you really need to play around with, and throroughly review the operator logs to see what is actually going on (I think this is a very good guide to setting it up : http://soainfrastructure.blogspot.ie/2009/02/setting-up-oracle-data-integrator-odi.html)
In general What are the relations between 'Journalizing' and 'IKM'?JKM simply presents (only) changed data to ODI, it removes the need for you to decide 'how' to get the updates and removes the need for costly scans on the source table (full source to target table comparisons, scanning for updates based on last update date etc)
Should i use both of them? Or maybe it is better to deelte and insert to the target tables?Delete and insert into target is fine , but ask yourself how do you identify which rows to process, inserts and updates are generally OK , to spot a delete you need to compare the table in full, target table minus source table = deleted rows , do you want to copy the whole source table every time to perform this ? Are they in the same database ?
I want to understand what is the role of 'Journalizing CDC'?Its the ODI mechanism for configuring, starting, stopping the change data capture process in the source systems , there are different KM's for seperate technologies and a few to choose for Oracle (Triggers (Synchronous), Streams / Logminer (Asynchronous), Goldengate etc)
Can 'IKM - Incremental Update' work without 'Journalizing'?Yes of course, Without CDC your process would look something like :
    Source target ----< LKM >---- Collection table (C$) ----<IKM>---- Integration table (I$) -----< IKM >---- Target table
With CDC your process looks like :
    Source Journal (J$ table with JV$ view) ----< LKM >---- Collection table (C$) ----<IKM>---- Integration table (I$) -----< IKM >---- Target table
as you can see its the same process after the source table (there is an option in the interface to enable the J$ source , the IKM step changes with CDC as you can use 'Synchronise Journal Deletes'
Does 'Journalizing' need to have PK on the tables?Yes - at least a logical PK in the datastore, see my reply at the top for reasons why (Log Groups, joining back the J$ table to the source table etc)
What should i do if i can't put PK (there can be multiple identical rows)? Either talk to the source system people about adding one, or be prepared to change the JKM (and maybe LKM, IKM's) , you can try putting all columns in the PK in ODI. Ask yourself this , if you have 10 identical rows in your source and target tables, and one row gets updated - how can you identify which row in the target table to update ?
    >
Thanks in advance YaelA lot to take in, as I advised I would reccomend you get a little test area set up and also read the Oracle database documentation on CDC as it covers a lot of the theory that ODI is simply implementing.
    Hope this helps!

  • What is control form function module.

    hi
what is control form function module.

    Hi Chaitanya,
The function module CONTROL_FORM can  be used to pass the control
commands to FORM THROUGH ABAP/4 PROGRAM.
    <b>Function Call</b>
    CALL FUNCTION 'CONTROL_FORM'
    EXPORTING COMMAND = ?...
    EXCEPTIONS UNOPENED =
    UNSTARTED =
    <b>Export parameters:</b>
    COMMAND
Enter the SAPscript statement you want to execute in ITF format, but without the statement paragraph attribute '/:'.
    <b>Exceptions:</b>
    UNOPENED
The current form function could not be executed, since the form output was no yet initialized using OPEN_FORM.
    UNSTARTED
    No form was opened yet.
    Possible reasons:
    >The form processing was started using OPEN_FORM without specifying a form name, but no form was opened yet using START_FORM.
    >The last used form was closed using END_FORM, but no new form was opened using START_FORM.
    >The last filled page of the current form has no subsequent page. In this case, the system automatically terminates form printing after this page. You need no explicit END_FORM call.
    >In the current form, no page contains a main window, but a text element shall be output in the main window.

  • What are the relation between JPA and Hibernate, JPA and TopLink?

What are the relation between JPA and Hibernate, JPA and TopLink?
Can JPA instead of Hibernate and TopLink?

The Java Persistence API (JPA) is the object relational mapping persistence
standard for Java. Hibernate and TopLink provide an Open source Object-relational mapping framework for Java.
They provide an implementation for the Java Persistence API. In my opinion, both Hibernate and TopLink provide support to JPA
and they can also be regarded as the complementary to JPA.
Let's wait to see other person's opinions.

  • What are the supported uplink modules in the WS-C3850-48F-L?

Our company has two offices, but the distance between them is a little far. I want to connect the network between the two offices with fiber, But our company is using Cisco Catalyst 3850 Switches , So what are the supported uplink modules
    in the WS-C3850-48F-L?

The WS-C3850-48F-L supports the following uplink modules:
    4 x 1GE network module C3850-NM-4-1G=
    2 x 1/10GE network module C3850-NM-2-10G=
    4 x 1/10GE network module C3850-NM-4-10G=

  • New in NW04s: FL069 TABLES parameters are obsolete (in function modules)

Can somebody explain what is the fundamental reason for this behaviour in NW04s?
In Netweaver 2004s system (like ERP2005 ) you get a warning message in SE37:
FL069 TABLES parameters are obsolete! when defining quite ordinary tables parameter using LIKE and reference to a structure in ddic.
I now speak normal function modules, not RFC enabled.
This example of tables parameter definition will cause the warning message:
    return LIKE BAPIRET2
I of course looked the additional help provided by this message FL069. I understood it as following:
you should stop using TABLES parameter and more often use CHANGING parameter by referring a TABLE TYPE defined in dictionary.
if using CHANGING parameter and still want to pass the header line of your internal table you should use a separate parameter (EXPORT or CHANGING parameter)
Developers have too much used TABLES parameters for passing internal tables for reading (by value) rather than to be modified (by reference). As a consequence, fm could have change the header line without caller to know it.
in my opinion the message help is missleadingly telling that header line is no longer passed to function module if TABLES parameter is used. I made a small test program and fm (with TABLES paramerer), and everything worked as before.
The warning message can be ignored by pressing Enter a few times and your fm with TABLES parameter works as it had in older versions of Netweaver.
SAP is still using a lot of TABLES parameters in their own function modules. For example SD_SALES_HEADER_MAINTAIN.
So what is the point of this warning message while everything still works as it used to be and SAP uses this same "OBSOLETE" feature itself? Is there anything more fundamental behind this message? Like TABLES paremeters will no longer work in future versions of ABAP (or header line passing will be ignored in future versions) and therefore developers should switch to CHANGING/EXPORT parameters with TABLE TYPES as soon as possible??
Please understand that I don't need any assistance how to avoid this message, just interested to share your opinions what is the purpose of this warning message.
That is why I did not marked this thread as a question.
    Br: Kimmo

    Hello,
This is the view under Tables tab in my function builder:
    I_T_SELECT     TYPE     SRSC_S_IF_SIMPLE-T_SELECT
    I_T_FIELDS     TYPE     SRSC_S_IF_SIMPLE-T_FIELDS
E_T_DATA     LIKE     SFLIGHT (which I change to YBWxxxx)
The moment I change to YBWxxxxx it gives me that error '"TABLES parameters are obsolete! "'
and unfortunately hitting enter several times is not helping  either
    Thanks!

  • What are the control functions of Suitability and setup type key in work center?

    Hi all,
Can any1 plz tell me what is suitability and setup type key in workcenter default values tab?
what are the functions controlled by these keys?

    Hello,
Control Key in Defaut value keys screen is mainly for defining how the work center will be used in routings.
Almost in all the PP we define same Control key to the work center as well in the routing.
For example in work center control Key PP01 is used to define Routings/Internal proc. activities. When we go to the routing screen even if we do not see our components, work centers or control key we have to manually enter these details ans here control Key will remain the same as it was in Work center.
No. of individual capacity defines how many machines are there of the same type in the work center. E.g if I have 5 CNC machines then I will make One work center and in capacity screen I will put 5 as No. of individual Capacity.

  • EHP5: What are prerequisites relative to ERP/EHP, & NW support packs

We understand that ERP EHP5 is going into Ramp Up in December, 2010.  To add EHP5 to our environment, what are the minimum support pack levels for ERP (we are currently under EHP4 support pack 4, moving to 7), as well as any other support pack level dependencies for NetWeaver?  (In other words, what are the "jumping off points" from previous support pack levels?)
Any estimate of General Availability for EHP5?

    Hello,
Based ón the current support pack level EHP5 stack will be generated with pre requisites .
You have to maintain the data in solution manager.
EHP Installer will take care rest of the things like notes tobe implemented , SAINT/SPAM versions.
    regards
