  • What are the settings required for QM in procurement

    Hi Team,
What are the settings required for QM in procurement. I have  set indicator for QM in procurement in QM view in material master.
I am not clear about  following fields to be maintained in QM view.
    QM Control Key
    Certificate type
    Target QM system
    Tech. delivery terms Indicator.
Please suggest me in which case to be used this fiels. Is it relivant to Quality Certificates.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    All meaning are
    QM Control Key :
If you activate the indicator for QM in procurement in the material master record at the client level, you must also store a control key at the plant level for quality management in procurement.
    Certificate type :
Certificate types applies to the Certificate processing in procurement  &  Certificate creation
    Target QM system :
whether the vendor's verified QM system, according to vendor master record or quality info-record (for a combination of vendor/material) meets the requirements for QM systems as specified in the material master
    -  If you activate the indicator for QM in procurement in the material master record at the client level, you must also store a control key at the plant level for quality management in procurement. If you want Procurment control then accordingly define Control Key.
    -  If you want Vendor's perticular certificate for Material then you have to define Certificate type.
Also, you have to maintain Material, Vendor's Info record at plant level.
    Thanks,
    JM

The answer helped me.But still, what are the settings that I have to change for the behavior of the mouse pointer towards finder? Also the mouse pointer sometimes  doesn't accept my command and start clicking itself.what is the problem and how to fix it?

If the mouse clicks something on its own then it looks like you have a hardware problem with the trackpad or possibly the battery that is right underneath the trackpad.
I have read that the battery can swell and that would put pressure on the trackpad.

  • What SAP component support Flash Island in Web Dynpro for ABAP?

    Hi  Experts,
What SAP component support Flash Island in Web Dynpro for ABAP? I don't find flash island control to place it in the view.
    Thanks,
    Duy

FlashIsland is a native UI element like table or image - not a reusable component like ALV.  What release level is your system?  FlashIsland is only available on NetWeaver 7.0 Enhancement Package 1 and higher.
Also the FlashIsland UI element must be a root UI element. Therefore it has be created in its own view.  Right mouse click on the ROOTUIELMENT in the UI element hierarchy and choose Swap UI Element Definition.

  • What are the settings required to maintain consignment storgae location

Hi, what are the setting required to maintain new consignmnet storgae location for a customer.
    Thank you.

Here I am giving you over all idea of Consignment:
Consignment goods are goods which are stored at the customer location but which are owned by your company. The customer is not obliged to pay for these goods until they remove them from consignment stock. Otherwise, the customer can usually return consignment goods which are not required.
Consignment processing offers the participating partners several advantages. Customers store the consignment goods at their own warehouses. The customer can access the goods in the consignment warehouse at any time. They are only billed for the goods when they are removed from the warehouse and only for the actual quantity taken.
    consignment stock must be
Managed separately from the rest of your stock so that you know exactly what stock is stored at the customer location
    Managed separately for each customer
In inventory management, the consignment stock is managed as special stock in your inventory and is assigned to specific customers. This enables you to keep track of returnable packaging stock by customer.
If the consignment stocks are not managed by the sold-to party but by a central office, you can use the partner function for special stock partner.
    Prerequisites
    Special Stock Partner
The special stock partner has been defined for carrying out consignment stock processing by means of a third party rather than the customer. This means you can manage all special stock under one partner. It makes sense to use the special stock partner if your customer is using decentralized order processing but manages consignment stock centrally.
Inventory Management Using the Special Stock Partner
If you want to process your consignment goods using a special stock partner, proceed as follows:
Create a customer master record for the special stock partner (account groups 0001 and DEBI are defined for this purpose in the standard system).
Enter the special stock partner in the relevant customer master record on the partner screen using the partner function SB.
When you create an order for this customer, the system automatically proposes the partner function SB in the document header and the document items. Consignment goods which have been entered in a consignment fill-up are always posted to the stock of the special stock partner when goods issue is carried out. You can also enter the partner function SB manually in the document header or in the relevant items if a special stock partner is required and is not proposed from the customer master record. If a special stock partner does not exist in the document header, inventory management is carried out using the sold-to party.
    Process Flow
There are four main transactions for processing consignment stock in the R/3 System, all of which support separate management of stock:
    Creating a Consignment Fill-Up
    Creating Consignment Issue
    Creating a Consignment Pick-Up
    Displaying Consignment Returns
    Consignment fill-up
Consignment fill up is used to supplement the customer’s consignment stock.
Goods issue of the appropriate stock is posted from the unrestricted-use stock to consignment stock (special stock). The goods remain in the possession of the vendor.
When you ship consignment stock to the customer, you record the transaction by creating a consignment fill-up order (order type KB). As a result, the system carries out the following actions:
If special stock does not yet exist in your inventory for the customer (or special stock partner), the system creates it when goods issue is posted
The relevant quantity is removed from regular inventory in your plant and is added to the special stock for the customer. The total valuated stock for the plant remains the same.
The transaction is not relevant for pricing since the consignment stock remains the property of your company.
    Consignment pick-up
Consignment issue enables the customer to take consignment goods from the special stock for their use or to sell.
Consignment issue involves removing the goods from the special stock and making it the property of the customer.
When the customer removes consignment stock to use or sell, you record the transaction in the system by creating a consignment issue order (order type KE). As a result, the system carries out the following actions:
When goods issue is posted, the relevant quantity is deducted from both the customer’s special stock and your own total valuated stock.
The transaction is relevant for pricing since the goods now become the property of the customer.
    Consignment issue
Any consignment goods stored at the customer’s warehouse that haven’t been used can be reposted to your company’s warehouse with a consignment pick-up.
If the customer returns consignment stock to you, you record the transaction in the system by creating a consignment pick-up order (order type KA). As a result, the system carries out the following actions:
When goods issue is posted, the relevant quantity is deducted from the customer’s special stock and is added back into your regular stock at the plant where the goods are returned. Your total valuated stock remains the same since the returned stock was regarded as part of your own inventory even while it was at the customer’s premises.
This transaction is not relevant for billing.
    Consignment return
Consignment returns are used for when your customer wants to return goods to the consignment stock.
If the customer wishes to claim on consignment goods which have already been issued, you can record this transaction by creating a consignment return order (order type KR). As a result, the system carries out the following actions:
When goods issue is posted, the relevant quantity is added to the customer’s special stock at the plant where the goods are returned
Since the ownership of the goods is passed from the customer back to your company, the transaction is relevant for billing. In this case, the customer receives a credit memo for the returned goods.
Depending on the settings in Customizing for Sales, you can create consignment returns with direct reference to a consignment issue. The consignment issue appears in the document flow for the consignment return. This function is not supported in the standard version of the SAP R/3 System.
When you create consignment returns in the standard version of the SAP R/3 System, the system automatically sets a billing block. To credit a return, you must first approve the request for a credit memo by removing the billing block in the return header. You can control the automatic setting of a billing block in Customizing for Sales.
The following table provides an overview of the order types used in the standard system for processing consignments:
    Transaction
    Sales order type
    Consignment fill-up
    KB
    Consignment issue
    KE
    Consignment pick-up
    KA
    Consignment return
    KR
    Pricing and Availability Check
Whether pricing is carried out for the individual transactions depends on the item category. The schedule line category controls the availability check and the transfer of requirements in each of the transactions. The schedule line category itself is determined by the item category and the MRP type of the material. The order types KE and KA check against the consignment stock for the customer involved and order type KB checks against your own plant stock. Requirement records for consignment stock are stored as individual requirements, independently of the setting in the material master

  • Are ZCI interactive forms available via Web Dynpro for ABAP?

Note 955795 talks about ZCI forms available via Web Dynpro for Java. Is this kind of forms also available via Web Dynpro for ABAP?.
Do ZCI interactive forms work via Web Dynpro for ABAP without the need of ACF?
If available, which support package levels are required?

    Hi Mahamed,
I got your problem. You have not done anything wrong.
It is WebAS version which is not supported for this functionality.
But there is solution to this problem

  • C6180 - what are Network Settings id & password?

Windows XP Pro. dLink wireless router connection for my C6180. Everything seems to be working, thanks in large part to the excellent document by Jasdev Singh on Resolve Scanning Errors on Network Printers
However, when I was having trouble, I tried to access the Network Settings in Solution Center. I was prompted for an ID and password.
What is this? I could find nothing in the manual about this password or what I might be able to see in Network Settings.
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

that was helpful. why dont you try typing 'Admin' for both user name and password. if it doesnt work then we'll have to reset the printer.
EDIT: you can also change the network settings by the Setup Menu on the printer. Press the Setup Button, and look for Network/NetWork Settings and Press OK. then go to Advanced Setup', and select IP Settings. select Manual and you can change all the network settings.

  • What are theSNP Settings required for Forecast Consumption with Sales Order

    Hello APO Folks,
I have one SNP scenario:  (We don't have GATP)
Forecast for Finsihed Product - "PNG_Fert" in Location "1000".
I have forecast quantity of 500, now our requirement is - when SNP heuristic run will take place (without any sales order quantity) then there should not be any planned orders creation.
Planned order creation should happen Only if any one places sales order from ECC , which comes to APO then against that sales order forecast quantity should consume and should create the planned orders equal to the nos. of sales order quantity.
So if I have forecast of 500 qtys and sales order of 90 qtys then heuristic run should yield/create the planned order of 90 qtys and there should be 500-90 = 410 forecast quantities remaning.
Please let me know which strategy will be used and other setting in ECC and APO for SNP. I
The setting with strategy 50 in ECC and 30 in APO worked properly with PPDS - RRP3 view but from interactive planning /sapapo/sdp94 it is not working, so there will be different setting for SNP.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Regards,
    Vishal

    Vishal
Can you please explain what issue you are facing when you load the product in planning book. First thing is do you see 410 against forecast and 90 against sales order key figure ? If yes then it means the forecast is getting consumed properly by SO.
As far as your other requirement  goes (planned order should only be created for sale order quantity) you have to change your total demand macro calclation logic. Your total demand key figure should show 90 instead of 500 - so just include sales order in your total demand calculation (stock balance macro) and run heuristic. Your requirement will be satisfied

  • Personas- what are the settings required to make them display

I have an XP machine where personas only show as a solid color. I have a WIN 7 machine with multiple users - some users work fine and some switch off and on between working and showing only a solid color. I want to know the config settings to look at and compare across platforms and users to get all working again. I am on the current version of FIREFOX - this started about 4 updates ago and has remained.

Does this happen with all lightweight themes (Personas)?
Do those computers use the default theme in Firefox because a custom theme may not work with Personas?
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.
    See "Creating a profile":
    *http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Firefox#Profile_issues
If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.

  • Starting Web Dynpro - absolute beginner question

    Hello Web Dynpro gurus,
i have couple of completed & working customer ABAP programs (with their own selection screen logic and their own Z transactons)...
I should make those programs work in Web Dypro (to enable Portal usage of programs)...
I have  some ABAP experince, but not OO, and I haven't worked with Web Dynpro component yet...
What would be the best approach in starting to learn Web Dynpro, links are wellcome?
Is there a way of integrating existing ABAP program in a Web Dynpro?
Or do I have to start developing separate Web Dynpro program anew, from scratch?
I ask this because these programs have complex selecton screen logic (implemented in 'AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT') that i'd like to keep in Web Dynpro program as well...
    Thank you for your replies...
    Kind regards,
    Tom

  • Configuring Web Dynpro for ABAP

    SDN,
I have read through the doc's and what I am seeing is that this is the only configuration that must be accomplished for configuring Web Dynpro for ABAP.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/43/e86de5008b4d9ae10000000a155369/content.htm
Please let me if this is correct.
    Mike

Yes, this docuementation is correct.  You must activate the appropriate nodes in the ICF as well as use the fully qualified domain name in the profile parameter icm/host_name_full.  Also make sure that this profile parameter and value is defined in RZ10 as well.
    icm/server_port_0 = PROT=HTTP,PORT=80$$

The compression is reducing the number of pixels being shown in order to maintain the bitrate. So rapid motion, which requires nearly all of the pixels to be redrawn, causes things to stutter.

  • What are the System Requirements for Web Server hosting Adobe Air application

Working on a project that is using Adobe Air . The Adobe support site has system requirements for the client side application, but for the server side, what are the system requirements?
Using a Windows server, would expect to have approx. 100 concurrent connections at any given time.

Adobe AIR applications are installed on the end user's computer. They are not hosted on a web server. You can deploy an AIR file, which is the installer file for an AIR application, via your web server.

If your wireless environment is less than ideal, as it is in most inhabited areas, the influence of other wireless networks and devices competing for the same very small portion of the electromagnetic spectrum will affect your network's performance. Your own wireless network is a microcosm of that environment.
To mitigate the effects of competing wireless networks, use 5 GHz to the maximum practicable extent. It is comparatively free from interference contributed by other wireless devices and is likely to remain that way for some time. However, it is less tolerant of intervening obstructions and construction materials than the 2.4 GHz spectrum, so it's not a panacea. Every installation is different so you must experiment to determine the optimum configuration.
Place your wireless router (what kind is it?) in a central location, convenient to all the devices that require it. Most of the time a utility or ISP will locate it in some remote corner next to the utility service entrance. That is almost always the worst possible location.
Others find that only a direct wired Ethernet connection between router and devices will maintain uninterrupted access to Airplay.
That is almost certain to result in the best possible AirPlay performance. Short of having everything hard wired (it's not an option for the iPad for example) use an Ethernet connection for all the devices that lend themselves to that method. Your AppleTV is certainly one of them, since its location is not likely to change very often. Your AirPort Express should be another, since your audio systems are likely to stay put as well. Connect them both to your existing router, either directly or through an inexpensive Ethernet switch. Your problems are likely to be solved with just those two connections.
