What color jacks correspond to what input/output on the Creative SB Audigy LS Model SB03

I tried downloading a manual but it didn't work and I don't have access to mine.

The SB030 is listed simply as an Audigy LS (not OEM), so the following color coded jacks in order from "top to bottom" should apply:
orange Analog/Digital out
blue LineIn
pink mic
green LineOut
black LineOut2
Note that there are also icons (e.g. image of a microphone) above each jack indicating function.

  • What speakers work with the Creative Labs DDTS-100 Digital Decoder-Upto 7.1

what speakers do the Creative Labs DDTS-100 Digital Decoder-Upto 7.1 work with thanks

Unless the Digital 5500 speaker set has analog inputs it can't be used with the DDTS-100. You must connect the DDTS-100 to a speaker system through the analog outputs either from the main unit or the switchbox. I have not heard of any cables to convert analog audio into digital form so digital speakers can understand and play it.
The best speaker system? I have absolutely no idea dude. You must be the judge of that, if it is you who are going to listen to it. I like my S750 system but that is me. You have to read loads of info and reviews and preferably listen to them in a store if you can.

  • What is output by the following code?

    Hi
DATA: BEGIN OF itab OCCURS 0, letter type c, END OF itab.
    itab-letter = 'A'. APPEND itab. itab-letter = 'B'. APPEND itab.
    itab-letter = 'C'. APPEND itab. itab-letter = 'D'. APPEND itab.
    LOOP AT itab.
    SY-TABIX = 2.
    WRITE itab-letter.
    EXIT.
    ENDLOOP.
    thanks,
    kiran

In the code, you r setting the tabix to 2, and without any checks for tabix u r writing the value; so the output will be 'A'.
If your code is something like this
    LOOP AT itab.
    if SY-TABIX = 2.
    WRITE itab-letter.
    EXIT.
    endif.
    ENDLOOP.
    The output would be 'B'.

  • Looking to purchase creative cloud as a student. What will happen to the Creative Suite 6 Design Standard that i already have installed?

Hi, purchased 'Creative suite 6 Design Standard' with my macbook. Now looking to get After Effects but it is cheaper to buy the whole Creative Cloud in a bundle buying as a student than it is to buy After Effects on its own.
Will I encounter any problems with having two versions of illustrator, photoshop and indesign?

    Hi desousa403,
Yes you can use both CS6 and CC.

Thank you ZagrebMike the majority of the Adobe Creative applications are not designed to work in the environment you have described.  I would recommend reviewing Technical support boundaries for virtualized or server-based environments - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/technical-support-boundaries-virtualized-or.html which discusses this topic.

  • How do I get signal from Digital Optical input (Extigy) to the Creative PlayCent

How can I rip MP3's from the Digital Optical input on the Extigy? The PlayCenter does not seem to have any interest in the Extigy/USB as an input source. Thank you for your help!!?

Since you are talking about variables, I suppose that you are using CP4, right?
There is a fine tutorial in de CP4-help, chapter 'Variables and advanced actions', 'Tutorial on scripting' which explains more elaborately what I will try here:
Create a user variable, p.e. named 'vName'  (Project, Actions, sheet Variables)
Ask the user to enter his name in a Text Entry Box; in the properties of this TEB, sheet Advanced you indicate that this name should be put in your variable 'vName'
Wherever you want to show this name, create a Text Caption and insert your variable by the button 'Insert variable'; this button is present in the properties window and also in the formatting toolbar if you are editing in place (look for X and and arrow); the variable in the text caption will show as '$$vName$$' and in the published SWF you will see the username.
Hope this could help you, but please check the tutorial.

  • External Hard Drive Input/Output error

I recently started having problems with an external hard drive setup that I did not have problems with prior to upgrading to 10.5.5 and trying to setup the drive to be compatible with Time Machine.
The hard drive enclosure that I have has 2 bays for two SATA drives. I have used this enclosure without any problems until I tried to get 1 drive to act as the backup drive for Time Machine and the other to be storage. I formatted them using Drive Genius. I used the option for GUILD or GUIL which it said was the better format for using with Time Machine.
The first problem I ran into since upgrading and reformatting the drives is I got an "input/output" error the first couple times I connected the drive via USB to my Mac. I could still use the drives but I got weird errors every once in a while like "input/output error" or "device was not ejected properly" even though the device had not been unplugged.
Now the drives will not mount using OS 10.5.5. The drives show up when I open Disk Utility, but I cannot get them to mount. I have ran Disk Utility First Aid, and it says the drives are fine. There is one error that shows up when I run the "Repair Disk" feature. It reads "Invalid content in Journal". But Disk Utility also says "The volume was repaired successfully".
I have seen some posts when I do a search in google about this issue and it seems this is a known issue. Every suggestion I see says to insert your Tiger DVD and reformat the drive using that and the problem will be solved. The only problem with that is I have a lot of important files on the drive that I cannot lose. I had the files backed up until I moved them to the new drive a while back. Now I do not have a backup because I was in the process of switching to bigger drives and erased the old drives after doing so because everything was working fine.
I am hoping someone out there may have some suggestions (other than erasing the drive) to get my dives to mount so I can transfer the data off to another drive and reformat after.
    Thanks,
    Paul Rugg

    Thanks for the suggestion.
Do you think that would work better than Drive Genius? I bought Drive Genius 2 and it does not even see the drives when they are plugged in unlike Disc Utility which can see the drives but cannot mount either one.
Maybe this following post I made to a different questions may help. The data on the drive is other buying another program for if it will work. I think my next step may be to go over to a friends place and try to mount the drives on his computer and transfer stuff off if they connect.
text below posted to other question relating to external hard drive problem.
I have recently had the same mounting issue with my new external hard drive. I just purchased a new 750Gb Western Digital Sata drive and got everything transfered over to it. Immediately, I got an error saying that the drive had been ejected incorrectly even though it was still plugged in. I was a little curious. I restarted the computer (hard drive still plugged in via USB 2.0) and the drive showed up just fine. I plugged another 250Gb drive into the same case (2 bays) and the 250GB drive showed up just fine.
Well, I then noticed there was an OS upgrade available when I ran Software update so i ran it and when I rebooted the drives were gone. I can see the drives in Disc Utility, but they will not mount. Drive Genius cannot see either disc. Disc Utility says I need to repair the drives, but when I do it says they are fixed but they don not mount.
The problem really seems to be related to mounting USB external drives. I got ahold of 2 seperate external firewire hard drives and one shows up just fine while the other has the same problem (both work on other systems. I would try wiping the drives and reformatting but ALL MY stuff is on them and not everything has been backed up. Yuck! I have not tried connecting my hard drive to another Mac yet.
The drives being used are #1 Maxtor Maxline Plus II 250GB SATA/150 HDD 1.5b/s 7Y250m00654ra
and #2 Western Digital WD7500AACS WD Caviar GP Green Power drive.
I have another post similar to this and I have not received any feedback, but I have been doing my own searching and have found similar posts on the net.
Anybody have any clue what might be going on here? It really seems to be related to my upgrade.

  • Restoring .dmg image from external to Mac HD in Disk Utility: "Unable to scan image (Input/output error)"

    Hi guys,
So I've got a problem with restoring the image backup I did (using Disk Utility) of my 500GB HD on my MBP which was acting weird or maybe even crashed a few months ago. After creating the backup image and putting it on my external device, I installed Mavericks back to see if everything was alright (mainly the HD) and everything seems okay.
I did try restoring the backup image through disk utility before installing mavericks (thus erasing everything again on the HD) AND after. But nothing..
The whole process starts fine and then it starts scanning the image when after maybe a good 10-15min in I get a message that says that it was unable to scan the image. I tried verifying the disk(s), everything came out "OK". Also tried scanning it through Images > Scan image for Restore... with the same results.
While searching I've seen people getting messages like "Unable to scan filename.dmg (Invalid argument)" and "Unable to scan filename.dmg
(Internal error)" but none have (Input/output error)
    The screen grab is below.
I also came across something about using terminal/commands but I'm not that savvy with it, especially considering that those there had issues with either mounting or trouble finding the image.
I've also tried moving the backup image to a different external device 2TB and also the desktop because I read it may have to do with the format of the externals or maybe free space. But THEN I would get a message saying
"The Finder can't complete the operation because some data in "Mac HD Backup.dmg" can't be read or written. Error code -36"
Fyi ALL my externals are HFS+/Journaled and the backup image format was compressed.
I REALLY don't know what to do next. Was it the wrong move to create a dmg image? Have I lost everything? Is there still a way out?
    If anyone can help, THANKS!

Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store, or go to another authorized service provider. You may have to leave the machine there for several days.
Back up all data on the internal drive(s) before you hand over your computer to anyone. There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional—ask if you need guidance.
If privacy is a concern, erase the data partition(s) with the option to write zeros* (do this only if you have at least two complete, independent backups, and you know how to restore to an empty drive from any of them.) Don’t erase the recovery partition, if present.
Keeping your confidential data secure during hardware repair
Apple also recommends that you deauthorize a device in the iTunes Store before having it serviced.
*An SSD doesn't need to be zeroed.

  • Self as an input/output argument

    Hi,
does anyone know if self is a valid argument to a method that defines its
    parameter as input/output?
The reason I ask is that I am trying to move an application from 2.0.F.2 to
3.0.C.0, and the TOOL compiler gives me an error that it can't find a
method with a signature of "x" and it has methods with signatures of "x",
"y" and "z". The only clue I have is that the compiler advises: "Check that
any values passed to output or input output parameters are values that can
be changed like variables or attributes."
I might add that I personally would not be using self as an argument to
input output parameters because of my C++ heritage. Passing "this" to a
member function that might change the value of "this" is not a great idea!
However, this is the code that I have to work on, warts and all, so any
    help is gratefully received.
    TIA
    Nick.

    Just out of curiosity,
What are some other such read-only attributes that are coming with
R3? That way, those of us still coding in R2 will know to avoid using
those as output parameters, and thus avoid having our code broken
    when we move to R3.
    Thanks!

    Nick,
R3 does not allow you to change the value of self. It is now considered a
read-only variable. Read-only variables may not be passed to methods using
output parameters. R2 used to, but then the C++ compiler would, of course,
    choke on it.
It was a convenient way to make the compiler fail if you needed to,
    though....

  • [solved] NFS: "ls: reading directory .: Input/output error" after time

    Hello,
    I got the following configuration:
NFS-server: Always on, connected via LAN.
NFS-clients: 2 computers, connected via LAN and WLAN. On standby: auto umount NFS-share via system-sleep-hook with systemd.
This works flawlessly some hours or even days. But after some time, the following happens:
    1. mount nfs-share: no error message
2a. trying to access that folder via filemanager, e.g. thunar: folder seems to be empty (it isn't on server!), but the correct freesize of the NFS-share on server is displayed in the statusbar.
2b. trying to access that folder via commandline:
    $ ls
ls: reading directory .: Input/output error
The very same worked just a few hours before, I haven't changed anything meanwhile. Apart from standby (--> auto umount NFS-share) and resume (manual mount NFS-share) on the clients which worked before, too.
    Any idea what's going wrong?

    (last one repeats several times...)
Indeed, the NFS-share resists on a external WD harddrive connected via USB, /dev/sdc1.
As suggested in the NFS wiki article, the NFS-share is a bind-mount:
    /etc/fstab on server:
    # fake-root for NFS
    /magnet/owncloud/data/carl/files /srv/nfs/myshare none bind,noauto,x-systemd.automount
    while /srv is on /dev/sda1.
The external harddrive has an auto-standby (NOT hdparm...) which isn't causing troubles with other services.
So it seems to be a problem connected to this bind-mount to external USB setup....
I'll try to find out whether there is  a way to avoid that.
    Thanks so far!

I have similar problems with my USB external HD. Reformatting or repartitioning will not solve your problem. I've tried that 2 times already. The problem will reappear. My HD was running great until last month, when it suddenly without warning disappears from disk utility and the mac altogether. It not only dismounts itself, but also ejects itself, while still physically connected and the power is still on. The HD has its own power supply of course and is directly connected to one of the iMac USB ports. I have erased, repartitioned, disk verified, rebuild spotlight indexes, cleared PRAM and NVRAM, but nothing has solved the problem.
It is application independent, and not related to like iTunes as another post had suggested. Nothing to do with Mac applications. It seems to be USB related.
Messages in the Console seem to indicate something wrong with 'USB transactions passed their expiration point' and 'USB cannot enumerate something', but these statements are a bit cryptic to me. Perhaps an Apple system engineer can someday shed some light here.
    thanks much for any assistance.

  • What exactly is going on with the creative products, it is like an epidemic Admins come and l

Ok, I got a vision m for christmas and everything worked fine. I stopped using it for?a couple of months and then my mom got a v plus. I wasn't getting the connection error with the MTP device stuff. Now I plug in my vision m and I am getting the same problem. This is starting to piss me off. I got my mom's to work on my old comp upstairs. But I will not allow mine to be linked to that computer. All my music is on this computer. I don't know what is going with the creative products, but creative you really need to figure it out.

I agree. I've had problems with my old player (Zen Micro) and my new one (Zen Vision: M) which are connection issues. Sometimes they connect, and others they don't.

  • Dynamic output & input fields in the table control

    HI Guys,
How can one change the attribute of  input field to output field basically greying of field) dynamically
based on the some flag. Loop at screen does not work. I need to change the attributes
of field 'outfiled' and output field display only'.
    Any help is highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Harsha

    Hi Harsha,
I generated a table control (ERP 6.2) and somewhere I found the coding like this (the name of the table control is TABLE_CONTROL):
*&spwizard: output module for tc 'TABLE_CONTROL'. do not change this lin
    *&spwizard: get lines of tablecontrol
    module TABLE_CONTROL_get_lines output.
      g_TABLE_CONTROL_lines = sy-loopc.
If I do a loop at the screen at this place, I can control the individual input/output for the screen fields (the table fields). In my work area (WA_CONTROL) I can see the actual value of fields. Depending on this, I choose to enable/disable input via:
    loop at screen.
    if wa_control-material <> ' '.
    screen-input = '0'.
    modify screen.
    endif.
    endloop.

I have the Creative SB Audigy 2 Value card installed on my computer and the Altec Lansing GT505 surround 5. speaker system. I also have a Toshiba MD4FP DVD/TV combo. My speakers can only be connected using th standard red and white RCA plugs. My TV has a Coaxial Digital Output jack on the back and red/white/yellow plugs on the front that are used by my PS2. I understand the speakers cannot be connected directly to the TV unless I use the headphone jack but when i try that it sounds bac and I get sound out of only 2 speakers. Is there a way to connect a coaxial audio cable from my soundcard (i think it has the digital jack) to the Coaxial digital output on my tv? Will that give me the ability to play my TV through my speakers?
