  • I don't know how to redo my security questions?

I don't remember the answers to my security Questions and the email that they keep sending the reset too is no longer valid? what should I do?

    Hello Thebeardedman,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
For more information, take a look at:
Rescue email address and how to reset Apple ID security questions

If you decide not to provide a rescue email address, you can't reset your security questions and answers yourself later in the event you can't remember the answers to your questions. You'll need to contact iTunes Store supportto have your questions and answers reset.
    Have a nice day,

i have done got on applei.apple.com went to manage account and clicked rest security questions and it keeps saying it sends it to my yahoo account but I never get anything

Unless the email ended up in your spam filter, you need to ask Apple to reset your security questions. To do this, click here and pick a method; if that page doesn't list one for your country or you're unable to call, fill out and submit this form.

  • HT3702 I don't know how to change my security questions, I forgot them and I can't purchase

    Anyone can help me please??

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed, filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

    HELP

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then see if the instructions on this user tip helps you get them reset : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4551

  • What does it mean when you get a pop up notification saying that a phone number has been associated with your iTunes account? And what does it mean when I don't know the number that is associating with my account? Should I be worried?

I got a notification stating that a number has been associated with my now old iTunes account and it is a number I do not recognize. Should I be worried at all?

Yes, if you don't bother to change your password. You may also want to seriously consider turning on two step authentication.

  • Apple ID is *disabled for security reasons*, I know the username and password, but don't know the Security Questions and Recovery Email? Help!

I used to have the @apple.com apple ID. Everything was working fine, but then one day I entered my password and it was incorrect. I tried to reset it but nothing was working. Then I tried to "forgot my Apple ID" on iForgot and found that it was automatically changed to @mac.com. I entered my Apple ID and Password but then it gave me "your Apple ID is locked for security reasons". I tried resetting my password but I don't think I had put any recovery email and apparently I entered a wrong Date of Birth.
What should I do to re-access my Apple ID?
    Many thanks!

    Thank you randers4,
I just got off the phone with apple.
I have to call 800-MY-APPLE and try to verify my Apple ID using my old password and a serial number from a device on which I used my Apple ID. Oh and @apple.com never existed, I have no idea how it got on my phone :|
    Hope it works

  • TS2446 What if you do not know your answers to your security question and cannot purchase apps what do you do?

    Please help me

    Hi Ginny,
Thank you for taking the time to post; I understand your frustration at having to find an alternative service. How have you been using Workspaces? I'd be happy to offer some suggestions where possible.
Since you mention using Workspaces as a repository, you might be interested in checking out Acrobat.com. While it doesn't include the any authoring apps like Workspaces does (e.g. Buzzword and Tables), Acrobat.com is a convenient tool for storing and sharing files and accessing them across multiple platforms and devices. We'll be adding features and functionality over time, so you can look forward to consistent development and maintenance on the service; as an added bonus, you can use Adobe Reader on your iOS or Android device to access the documents you have stored there.
Let me know if you'd like more information on Acrobat.com or if you have any other questions about Workspaces.
    Best,
    Rebecca
