What are Crypto Cards, and what are they different from Java Cards?

I just heard the name 'Crypto Card'. I thought Java Card is the only standard for smart card. Could anyone tell me what are Crypto Cards, and what are they different from Java Cards? Thanks in advance.

Probably any card that offers cryptographic capabilities (crypto coprocessor) could be called "Crypo Card", but likely the term was referred to cards offering a pkcs#11 interface.
Pkcs#11 is the standard for accessing crypto devices, like tokens, cards, or accelerators. Such a device can be easily accessed for example from your browser to perform cryptographic and digital signature operations.
A Javacard can operate as a pkcs#11 device in you install on it an applet dealing with the pkcs#11 requests.

What's wrong with my Java?

Hi all!
While doing a little maintenance under AppleJack, I've noticed for the umpteenth time that a lot (and I mean a lot, like, dozens) of permissions related to Java were repaired. There are literally tons of them, each time I repair permission, whether under a normal user session, in safe mode on with AppleJack in single user. Is there something wrong with SL's version of Java? Have some of you guys noticed the same thing? Is it dangerous?

Thanks for trying to help! I do have Onyx installed, but as far as I can remember, I haven't used it once since I installed SL: I installed it out of habit (proved handy on Tiger), but it's just gathering dust on its shelf as we speak...

What do you want from the next version of CS review?

The concept for CS review is awesome and the current functionality looks to be a solid foundation ready for growth. I'm hoping that the product catches on and continues to mature at a decent pace. Are there other features that you would need in order for you to rely on it as part of your everyday workflow?
Here's a few feature requests from my wishlist. Please feel free to add your own.
Ability to download a review
My clients typically want to "walk designs around" to the execs in the early stages of a product and then embed examples into larger documents toward the later phases of the project.
Visual overview
I find myself getting lost in larger presentations. "was that example on page 7, 8 or 9 of the review?" I'd love to see a thumbnail overview (the ability to mouseover a thumbnail and see comments would be very useful as well). I currently use "print summary" on workspaces and folders very often in conceptshare to get a birds eye view of everything.
Long term organization?
With no ability to version or archive reviews, what happens after using CS live for a year or more with multiple clients on multiple projects? only time will tell how big of an issue this is.

What do you miss from E16 in E17?

Hi, i was thinking the things i miss from E16, and i thought on asking what else could be improved:
1) the pager, although its beatifull it lacks several features the other had. (drag and drop windows, zoom...)
2) window management options! lots of them! i thought the strongest point of E16 (along with being "kind" of lightweight was the great features for managing windows it had. Why are ALL missing in E17? there is no remember, cant change mouse/window behavior, no ALT+TAB... damn i miss those...
i cant think of more right now... but i will be back!

What would you change from factory default on router

Newbie here. For all the master techs out there. What all should be changed from factory defaults on router to make it as safe as possible? thanks

1. Change the router password (default "admin") on the Adminstration tab. Choose a good longer password.
2. Enable wireless security WPA or WPA2 in the Personal/PSK variant.
3. Choose a good passphrase, if possible use a random generated 63 character string.
That's about what you have to do to secure the router and the wireless.

I expect some new futures and more possibilities to set some tools
Better work with hw resources (multi-core processors AMD and Intel)
But the most I expect simple reinstallation (Win OS + Lightroom) with possibility to easy backup all settings... something like Apple Aperture
and better option cooperation with other computers

What do you with songs that dont have Album Artwork? Cover flow.

I have a live concert recording from my favorite band from 2 years ago. obviously since its a live recording, there is no album artwork for it but i use cover flow, which i love.
if i dont have album artwork for even this live recording then it defeats the purpose of having cover flow. so what do i do?

Find a suitable image and add that as an illustration in the absence of an actual album cover. Just add add the image manually to the tracks you want: Adding Album Cover Art or Images in iTunes

How to make jar with from java code for the filenames containing spaces

I tried to make jar file using Runtime.exec method . The filenames have spaces in it .So i gave the filenames in double quotes.It works fine with windows and also from the command prompt.But when i run the same code in unix box , it creates a jar file with no content.Pls give some solution. Can you be selective in what contacts you sync from Address Book to your iPhone?

On my MacBook Pro, I have both business and personal phone numbers and addresses stored in my Address Book.
I would only like to sync certain people to my iPhone. Does any one know if this is possible??

Yes it is using Groups. In your Address Book on your MacBook Pro create a new "Group" by clicking the "+" on the bottom of the "Groups" column. I created a "Friends" group and a "Co-Workers" group and a "Family" group.
Now that you have your new group/s add the contacts you want to that group.
Now once you have your Address Book organized go into iTunes with your iPhone connected. Click on your iPhone under the Devices section of iTunes. Now goto "Info" and check "Sync Address Book Contacts". Under there select "Selected groups" and choose the new groups you created. Sync and done.
