What happens to my emails

what happens to my emails
< Email Edited By Host >

Hi Hermann!
Basically rebranding doesn't really affect your account a whole lot.  It just makes the system whitelabeled no longer referencing BC in the system URLs and in the images (logo, system emails, etc)
Can I still access my website? Yes, add you add the domain to your site and redelegate you can access using the new domain name or the prior system URLs.
Can I still send and receive Emails? Yes, this is where you choose while adding your domain to the site.  You'll be presented options for your mail settings (with BC or remain external).  Select accordingly and note BC doesn't have mail migration so if wanting to keep all your current emails you'll need to back-up or continue using the external mail provider.
What happens to my emails still "hosted" at my "old" provider´s server? - Is there any risk of loosing any of my emails and how do I move them to BC´s platform?  When you add your domain to your partner site choose this service.  But leave email settings "external provider"  assuming you want to keep emails with the external mail host. So basically you can rebrand while still having external email provider.
What happens to the webspace on my "old" provider´s server, where my current website is still hosted? Is there any risk of loosing "normal" access to my site and how can I actually move the website to BC? When ready you'll need to add your domain to the partner site and redelegate over to BC.  Remember email if still wanting it to remain external select "external provider" for the mail settings.  Then reach out to our partner support to complete rebranding. Also if you have any additional questions you can work directly with our partner support to get you up and running.
For more details on the rebranding process please review this article. Probably best to follow along with the articles steps when ready.

  • Message Tracking - Determing what happens to specific email

Good afternoon all!  I have a situation with a client Exchange 2010 server.  They have a front end/back end exchange setup.  They are running this on Server 2008 R2.  Mail is setup and working great.  They have ONE specific email
they receive on a nightly basis.  This email makes it through the front end spam solution, then passes the receive connector.  In the message tracking logs I see the message is received.  It is sent to a distribution group.  Other email
that is sent to the distribution group will have a corresponding expand and deliver logs.  This particular email does not have anything further than receive.  No other logs to identify why it is not being delivered or dropped or anything.  I
have run the following command to ensure I have the full information:
    [PS] C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\Scripts>get-exchangeserver | where {$_.isHubTransportServer -eq $tru
    e -or $_.isMailboxServer -eq $true} | Get-MessageTrackinglog -MessageId "[email protected]" | fl

There are no further logs on this message.  For those that will read the delivery status notification.  This message is a bounce back message that they are not receiving.  I did change the Default Properties on the remote domains, so that
Allow external out-of-office messages and legacy out-of-office messages is selected as well as under message format: Allow Auto replies, Allow Auto Forward, Allow Delivery Reports, Allow Non-Delivery Reports are also all selected.
I am lost on where to figure out what happens to this email after the receive connector gets it.  Messages normally have other messages that show additional information; however this message just dies there.
Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks
    Jason

Thanks for the reply.  I actually started with searches for anything going to that distribution group.  I used the GUI version, then went to the shell.  Neither was able to produce anything beyond receive.  I thought maybe the group was
not setup properly to get emails from the outside, but after testing from my email address directly to the group, I see normal behavior it expands then delivers to the store.  With these particular emails, they only ever have the event of receive nothing
further.  Any ideas where to look when that happens?
    Thanks
    Jason

  • HT1430 I would like to share and email pictures from my album in my ipad but I don't see the logo of email. I can only choose FB, print and copy. What happen to my email logo?

i would like to email pictures from my photo album in ipad but the logo of email is not there to send. I can only choose FB, copy and print. what happen to my email logo?

I wouldn't want to say exactly, however I would imagine that it has to do with the fact you use the same Apple ID on both devices. Since Facetime was activated on the phone, with the number, and then activated on the iPad with the email and same Apple ID, they are somehow linked. I'm not sure that you can separate it without having a different Apple ID on the two devices. Otherwise you can look at this support document http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3367 and see if that helps you any.

  • Moving personal domain to .mac - what happens to the email accounts?

I have had my own domain for many years, hosted at an ISP. I wouldn't mind moving it to .mac. But what happens to my email addresses?
Right now I have several email addresses like this: '[email protected]'. It is actually protected by a commercial spam filter site - this filter site polls the host (personaldomain.com) for the email, filters it and then my email client polls the spam filter server.
Can I maintain this structure and the email addresses if I move the domain to .mac?
Or perhaps I should just use the forwarding option? I would like to save the monthly fee for the hosting ISP for personaldomain.com...
I searched all the help files - couldn't find an answer (sorry if I missed it).
    Thanks,
    Oliver

Thanks for the two replies - I had read those pieces, but as you say, they don't specifically address what happens to email addresses that were hosted elsewhere.
If I keep my current provider and just move the website (use domain forwarding) I know I can keep my emails intact as is. This means paying for both .Mac and the other ISP.
I am guessing if I move everything to .Mac I am going to have to move the email addresses to the IMAP service from .Mac, and that may create problems with my spam filter service...
Anyone else have any experience with this?
    Thanks!

You need to be more specific on what you are missing.

  • What happens to other email accounts(Gmail,AOL etc.)?

what happens to other email accounts(Gmail,AOL etc.)?

This is a very vague question. If you have a MobileMe account and have been accessing them in the MobileMe online email pane, this facility is not available in iCloud; however you can perfectly well set them up in the Mail application on a Mac or an iPhone and check them that way.
If you have an Apple ID using one of these accounts, it would be for iTunes or these forums, and you retain is for iTunes, iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match, and migrate your MobileMe account (if any) at http://me.com/move to move your calendars, contacts, bookmarks and email to iCloud.

  • Client Outlook - what happened to our Email??

Hi, I am a nurse and academic. Yes, I am blonde and over 50. I need some help and answers. What happened to Outlook on my computer. It looks like it no longer is supported. We
fell  in love with Outlook and hate the new Outlook 365. Can someone please help to clarify this issue??<o:p></o:p>
    Thanks Kate   ( who hates 8) <o:p></o:p>

    Hi Kate,
Please elaborate your query more briefly, so we can provide you appropriate solution to troubleshoot the issue. Although, I am defining some basic tricks to fix Outlook’s glitches:
1.) Open Outlook in safe mode.
2.) Perform repair on Outlook Data File.
3.) Recreate Outlook profile if it seems corrupted.
4.) Remove third party plug-ins (after opening Outlook in safe mode)
5.) Check the server settings (which is used to connect with Office 365)
6.) At last, contact to your ISP

  • What happened to my email.

Not too long ago. The Office 365 email changed, back to outlook or whatever. Now when ever I log on, I only see 2 emails, and none of my past ones. On top of that the, I can't get or receive any new emails. I'm pissed and demand to get back my old emails
and be able to send and receive email once again!

What type of email account do you use (POP, IMAP, MAPI or Exchange)?
You might need to follow below steps to troubleshoot the problem:
Try to repair Outlook data file using scanpst.exe tool. Please refer to this article on how to use scanpst.exe:
    http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook-help/repair-outlook-data-files-pst-and-ost-HA102749454.aspx
Try to create a new Outlook profile and see if issue presists. A corrupted mail profile might cause this kind of issues. For how to create an Outlook profile, please refer to:
    http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook-help/create-an-outlook-profile-HA102749460.aspx
Check with your Administrator or ISP for the status of your mail account.
    Hope this helps.

    Hi,
Before, you where able to send and receive e-mails to members within the forum, has this been disabled?

    CG Over An Out

    Hi cg
Ectophile is right, the private messaging facility is available to everyone.  However you do have the ability to turn this off and on within your settings.
You can alter the following private messaging settings:
    Turn on and off
No. of messages shown per page
Receive email notification for new private messages
This can all be done by going into My Settings, clicking on Preferences and then on Private Messenger.
    Thx

  • What happened to the Email widget?

ICS used to have an email widget so you could set up different email accounts on the home screen.
That widget does not exist in JB!!!  Samsung, VZW...please bring back the email widget!!!

    Another one questioning this.
There is now no way to have two email accounts accessed by their own icons like was possible before.
I used to add a "Shortcut" and then choose email, and it would let me select which email account to tie to it. Now, nothing.
    Always something.

  • What happens to Verizon email after Frontier takeover?

Just wondering if I need to start moving all my emails to non verizon.net accounts in preparation for the takeover by Frontier?? Anyone have any info on this?
    Thanks,

I see that Verizon is also ignoring this issue as well. Why is it Verizon continues to ignore posts about the Frontier transaction and does not provide the information in the Frontier facts when it comes to the dsl service including Verizon based email?  We deserve better then this.  Why wasn't any of this information contained within the letter Verizon mailed to customers? It only mentions the traditional phone based services.

  • What happens to icloud email?

Because I set up my new iPad mini with a new device name (of course), I apparently also gained a new iCloud userid. I noticed it this morning while wandering through my settings. Hence, it occurred to me to ask. Does this also imply I could be receiving email at that address? Do I need to do anything about it lest some sort of allocated space fill up? Or, on the other hand, could I take advantage of it? (It is to be noted, of course, I have no iCloud account currently set up in any of my mail apps.) Just asking; likely not urgent.

Yes, once you have set up an AppleID and iCloud, you also have an icloud email account. Whether you choose to use it is up to you, and unless you have designated it as such, it is not necessarily the primary email for your account. It is an IMAP account and includes the ability to sync your caledars, notes, etc. with icloud and other devices.

  • What happens to an email when you click "Send Later?" I can't find it anywhere.

I pulled an email from the "Sent" folder and hit "forward." I modified the email at length and then decided not to sent it yet. I right clicked and chose "Send later." The email disappeared totally. I can't find it anywhere -- not in any folder. Where can it be? How can I retrieve it?

It goes to the Outbox. You will find the Outbox under local folders.

  • What happened to the email button and how do you email now

When I downloaded this most recent version of Firefox, there was no email icon to click, which would then open (or go to aol if it was already open) and create an email template to fill in and send.
    Where is that function.
I browse in Firefox and have aol open in another window and jump between, giving the best of both worlds.
Now that functionality is lost if I can not create an email link in Firefox.
    HELP!!

Hi, open the 3-bar menu > Customize, and drag the Email Link button to a toolbar in the location of your choice > Exit Customize to save.
    Hope that helps.
