What is Next run date? what is baselinedate?

what is Next run date? what is baselinedate?

Hi srinivasulu,
Next run date :
When the next payment run is suppose to take place. Using this date, the program determines whether the open items are paid in this payment run or the next.
Base line date :
Determines the date from which the terms of payment apply.
Invoice date : jun06.
Base line date jun 09.
Say it is over due after 30 days. The 30 days will be from jun 09.
Thanks

  • When a Job has a Chain, the next run date can be skipped

    I have read more than once in this forum that if a job is still running when the next run date arrives, the job is internally queued and runs as soon as the previous run is finished. The following code was posted to demonstrate :
    begin
    dbms_scheduler.create_job('j1',
      job_type=>'plsql_block', job_action=>'dbms_Lock.sleep(70);',
      repeat_interval=>'freq=minutely;bysecond=0',enabled=>true);
    end;
    /On both 10.2.0.4 and 11.2.0.1, the job starts every 70 seconds. Fine.
    Now, if I create a job using a PROGRAM and a CHAIN, then the job skips every other run date, so it runs every two minutes. Here is my test case:begin
    dbms_scheduler.create_program (
       program_name => 'P1',
       program_type => 'PLSQL_BLOCK',
       program_action => 'DBMS_LOCK.SLEEP(70);',
       enabled=>true);
    dbms_scheduler.create_chain (chain_name => 'C1');
    dbms_scheduler.define_chain_step('C1', 'STEP1', 'P1');
    dbms_scheduler.define_chain_rule ('C1', 'TRUE', 'START STEP1');
    dbms_scheduler.define_chain_rule ('C1', 'STEP1 COMPLETED', 'END STEP1.ERROR_CODE');
    dbms_scheduler.enable('C1');
    dbms_scheduler.create_job (
       job_name => 'J1',
       job_type => 'CHAIN',
       job_action => 'C1',
       repeat_interval => 'freq=minutely;bysecond=0',enabled=>true);
    end;
    /Is this a bug? I need the chain because my real job has two steps, so is there anything I can do to get the "non-skipping" behavior with a chain? Thanks in advance,
    Stew Ashton

    Replying to myself :)
    While walking to my car, I realized that my "chain" logic could be replaced by an anonymous block with two lines in it!
    I guess I outsmarted myself by trying to use all the appropriate features of the Scheduler instead of doing things more simply, but I still think the behavior I observed is incoherent.
    I am leaving this question "unanswered" since I won't be able to test my simpler approach until Monday.

  • What is next review date in credit management

    hi gurus
    my question what is next review date.  Is it correct if we marked this filed in ova8 number of days means 30 if we maintained in that.  After raising a sales order how will be the effect
    2) should we maintain this along with stataic or dynamic or separate

    For credit mgmt, we have last review date and next review date. What happens is whenever a credit limit for a customer is approved, the date on which it is approved becomes the last review date and then this limit is approved for a certain period, the date on which its validity is going to end or a day before that depending on your business requirements becomes the next review date, i.e. on that particular date again that customer's credit limit is reviewed as to whether to maintain the same limit or there is a need to make any changes to it.........
    This date has nothing to do with static or dynamic checks, i.e it is not dependent on them......
    The effect of mantaining this is whenever there is a credit check for a customer, it'll check these dates, if the next review date is in past, that limit is not effective for that customer.....
    Hope this is of some help........
    Reward, if useful......

  • Create and maintain a payment run date field

    Hello,
    I have to use a payment run date on selection screen of my Bex report. The dates of payment run  this year have been given to us. In order for this date to be maintainable (say for next year the date changes by one or two days) , what kid of object do i create in BI side ?
    And how do i tell my Bex report that If i select this particular payment date, then data in the report will be corresponding to date only?

    Hi,
    You cannot create you own Time charactersitics in BW they are already delivered, examples are 0calday, 0calmonth etc, can you not use 0calday in this case and map the source date field from where ever you load the data to to this time characteristic?

  • Question for saving the parameters in order to reload them on the next run of the VI.

    Hello,
    I need your help if it is possible.
    I have an application : Figure1.vi
    For running this vi: first I choice the parameters which I'd like display,for example Courant Isa, Isb, etc..
    and I click on the button Valider for display their respectives curves.
    My question is I'd like to save the last parameters of displaying in order to reload them on the next run of the VI.
    What is the method to save them?
    I think that There are several ways of saving the parameters in order to reload them on the next run of the VI. For my particular case, someone say me that he would recommend usingan .ini file, which can be written using the configuration VI's on the file i/o palette.
    I already See "Write Configuration Settings File.vi" and "Read Configuration Settings File.vi" in the Example Finder for an example of how to do this but I don't know what I must make in my application when I have a graph XY and a multi plot.
    When I click on Enrgistrer:I'd like to save my parameters but when I clik on «Charger», I'd like to reload the last parameters whwen I save.
    Can you help me, please ?

    Hello,
    In your case it's perhaps better to use an XML file.
    Connect everything you want to save into and array or a cluster, and then use the "Flatten to XML" and then, "Write to XML File".
    Then in he beginning of you program, use "Read from XML file" and "Unflatten from XML", this should recover the data you previously stored in the file. Connect to the type input of the "Unflatten from XML" the type you created when saving (the array or the cluster of all your data).
    Hope this helps,

  • Run data not being displayed in the data view tab following a run

    Recently I had some engineerings troubleshooting an issue with our test setup and since then, they run data is not automatically displayed in the dataview tab.  I am now having to drag it over from the project documentation tab.  I am sure there is a quick fix.  What is it?  Also, how can I password protect to prevent this type of issue in the future?

    So they changed something?  You don't have a backup of the software, nor any kind of software control?  Where I work, you can't even run modified code on a production unit, else you just created an expensive "engineering unit."  Could be they deleted just one data wire and it may take you hours to find it.

  • APP Run Date Field

    Hi Experts,
    Why does the drop down of the run date field in APP (f110) showing previous run dates? What is the logic behind not using a date picker?
    Thanks in advance,
    Em Jay

    Hi Em Jay
    It means the dates were used for periviouly APP run, so that is the reason it shows you. So here logic is if you give the previous date which is appear in the drop down list, you can see the status of your APP run with reference of Date and identification.
    Example :
    Parameters have been entered,
    Payment proposal has been created,
    Payment run has been carriedout

  • Run Data Package from custom Menu00F9/VBA macro

    HI guys,
    I have a problem:when creating VBA macro to run Data Package.
    I get the pop-up error "400" . This is the VBA code I'm using:
    Application.Run "MNU_eDATA_RUNPACKAGE(""Opening""; ""/CPMB/Opening_Balances""; ""Company""; ""Financial Processes"")"
    Have you any suggestion for me?
    Thanks
    Marco Uccello

    Hi Marco,
    I'm guessing by prompts you mean user inputs for Entity, Category, Time etc.
    These are controlled by the dynamic script associated with the data package.
    If you go to the menu eData -> Organise Packages then select a package and go through :
    Modify Package -> View Package -> Advanced
    You should get to the Data Manager Dynamic Script window.
    The following is an example of what should be in here. This is taken directly from the SAP How to Guide "How To Pass Dynamic Parameters to script logic.pdf"
    It's the "PROMPT" parts at the start that control the prompts shown to the user (and passed to the data package) :
    PROMPT(SELECTINPUT,,,,"%ENTITY_DIM%,%CATEGORY_DIM%,%CURRENCY_DIM%,%TIME_DIM%")
    PROMPT(TEXT,%WS_PERCT%,"Input W/S Percent in decimals",)
    PROMPT(TEXT,%EXP_PERCT%,"Input Exp. Percent in decimals",)
    INFO(%EQU%,=)
    INFO(%TAB%,;)
    TASK(ZBPC_PROMPT_EXP_RUN_LOGIC,TAB,%TAB%)
    TASK(ZBPC_PROMPT_EXP_RUN_LOGIC,EQU,%EQU%)
    TASK(ZBPC_PROMPT_EXP_RUN_LOGIC,SUSER,%USER%)
    TASK(ZBPC_PROMPT_EXP_RUN_LOGIC,SAPPSET,%APPSET%)
    TASK(ZBPC_PROMPT_EXP_RUN_LOGIC,SAPP,%APP%)
    TASK(ZBPC_PROMPT_EXP_RUN_LOGIC,SELECTION,%SELECTION%)
    TASK(ZBPC_PROMPT_EXP_RUN_LOGIC,LOGICFILENAME, INCREASEPERCENTAGE.LGF)
    TASK(ZBPC_PROMPT_EXP_RUN_LOGIC,REPLACEPARAM,WS_PERCT%EQU%%WS_PERCT%%TAB%EXP_PERCT%EQU%%EXP
    _PERCT%)
    If you paste that in exactly it will resolve into the right package information which can be seen one step back (via Modify Package -> View Package).
    You can modify the prompts as appropriate for the script you are running - the one above from the how to guide has two inputs for percentages which are used within the associated script logic calculation.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

  • Business connector scheduler gets hanged and Next run value is large number

    Hi All,
    I see the scheduler in business connector gets hanged and the Next run value shows huge/large number like 9223370831700598.0 sec. Please can anyone suggest what can be done.
    Currently BC ver is 4.7. The problem gets resolved every time when i restart the server.

    Hi,
    Not aware of the reason though, I guess you must be using the simple scheduled tasks.
    Try using complex reapting tasks where you specify days , minutes etc.
    It should work fine.
    Hope it helps. Reward if useful.

  • Lost Run Data

    I lost my run data today during my best run ever (figures). It seems that the headphone jack disconnected during the run (this is a good argument for a cable management system). I called both Nike and Apple and there is no way to recover the data. I was thinking that it was writing a temp file as you worked out, but it appears that the data is in memory and is not written to the flash drive until you end the workout. I’m not to upset, this is what can happen when you are an early adopter of new technology, just wanted to give the group a heads up. Make sure your headphones are connected well and careful while running (for the record, I am using the Nike+ armband)
    Check out myspace.com/nikePlus40

    The same thing happened to me on my last run. The run data disappeared from my iPod nano, and was not uploaded to Nike plus website. (I did not use a coach program).

  • Z-Program not able to pick up Payment Run date & Identification.

    Hi,
    I created a Z-Program for Payment file creation.
    This Z-program able to pick up Payment Run Date & Identification if I run it alone ( back ground and fore ground).
    My issue is, if I run it from F110 with variant, it is not able to pick up the Payment Run date & Identification.
    I used following code to get the Payment Run date. (SAP Version 4.6C)
    *------- SPA/GPA-Parameter
    DATA:    BEGIN OF gpa,
               laufd             LIKE f110v-laufd,
               laufi             LIKE f110v-laufi,
             END OF gpa.
      IF p_laufd IS INITIAL OR p_laufi IS INITIAL.
    Get the parameter values for Run Date & Identification from F100, if
    User not passed the above parameters while running this program
        GET PARAMETER ID '110' FIELD gpa.
        MOVE : gpa-laufd TO p_laufd.
        MOVE : gpa-laufi TO p_laufi.
      ENDIF.
    Your help appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Reddy

    Hello,
    What exactly is your requirement?
    IF p_laufd IS INITIAL OR p_laufi IS INITIAL.
    * Get the parameter values for Run Date & Identification from F100, if
    * User not passed the above parameters while running this program
    GET PARAMETER ID '110' FIELD gpa.
    MOVE : gpa-laufd TO p_laufd.
    MOVE : gpa-laufi TO p_laufi.
    ENDIF.
    Your code will execute if the user doesnot pass Run Date & Run ID. But you CANNOT execute F110 without passing Run Date & Run ID.
    Hope this helps.

  • Getting the next valid date (jump holidays and weekends)

    Hello,
    I have a column table where I have all holidays of the year in the format "yyyymmdd,yyyymmdd,...", for example, "20091012,20091225".
    I'd like to do a query where I pass a date and a increment of days and it returns the next valid date, excluding weekends and the holidays that I have in the column holidays that I show above.
    P.S: Instead of pass a date and a increment of days, I could pass just a already incremented date, and this query just validate this date, adding 2 days for each weekend and one day for each holiday.
    Is there a way to do that?
    Thanks

    Hello,
    I have a column table where I have all holidays of the year in the format "yyyymmdd,yyyymmdd,...", for example, "20091012,20091225".Dates should always be stored in DATE columns. If you really want to, your can also store the formatted date in a separate column.
    I'd like to do a query where I pass a date and a increment of days and it returns the next valid date, excluding weekends and the holidays that I have in the column holidays that I show above.For convenience, you can't beat a user-defined function, such as Etbin's.
    If you really want a pure SQL solution, you can
    (a) generate a list of all the days that might be between the start date and end date (sub-query all_days below)
    (b) outer join that to your holiday table (sub-query got_dnum, below)
    (c) rule out the holidays and weekends (sub_query got_dnum, WHERE clause)
    (d) return the nth remaining day (main query below)
    WITH     all_days     AS
         SELECT  TO_DATE (:start_date, 'DD-Mon-YYYY') + LEVEL     AS dt
         FROM     dual
         CONNECT BY     LEVEL <= 3           -- 3 = max. consecutive non-work days
                   + (:day_cnt * 7 / 4)     -- 4 = min. work days per week
    ,     got_dnum     AS
         SELECT     a.dt
         ,     ROW_NUMBER () OVER (ORDER BY a.dt)     AS dnum
         FROM          all_days     a
         LEFT OUTER JOIN     holidays     h     ON     a.dt = TO_DATE (txt, 'YYYYMMDD')
         WHERE     h.txt               IS NULL
         AND     TO_CHAR (a.dt, 'Dy')      NOT IN ('Sat', 'Sun')
    SELECT     dt
    FROM     got_dnum
    WHERE     dnum     = :day_cnt
    ;This assumes :day_cnt > 0.
    The tricky part is estimating how far you might have to go in sub-query all-days to be certain you've included at leas :day_cnt work days.
    Where I work, holidays are always at least 7 days apart.
    That means that there can be, at most, 3 consective days without work (which happens when there is a holiday on Monday or Friday), and that thee are at least 4 work days in any period of 7 consecutive days. That's where the "magic numbers" 3 and 4 come from in the CONNECT BY clause of all_days. Depending on your holidays, you may need to change those numbers.
    P.S: Instead of pass a date and a increment of days, I could pass just a already incremented date, and this query just validate this date, adding 2 days for each weekend and one day for each holiday.Good thought, but it won't quite work. How do you know how many holidays were in the interval? And what if the first step produces a Saturday before a Monday holioday?
    You might be interested in [this thread|http://forums.oracle.com/forums/message.jspa?messageID=3350877#3350877]. Among other things, it includes a function for determining if a given date (in any year) is a holiday, without reference to a table.
