Hi,
divide your scenario into Success and Failure Cases..
Success Case :
1. Message should get processed successfully in PI and in ECC (idoc).
Failure Case :
1. Check the adapter fails an alert is triggered.
2. Check for the Mapping Failure and alert is triggered.
3. Finally idoc failure errors in both PI and ECC..

What is Procedure for OPC Sever to communicate LabVIEW 7.1 with PLC (Any Make)
we want to use OPC Sever to communicate LabVIEW 7.1 with PLC (Any Make). Can someone tell what is the procedure for the same and how to configure the OPC Server?
Hey Sugam,
Did you try to look into de Developer Zone in NI? Here are some Articles that could help you to get started:
1. Tools for Troubleshooting OPC Interface Problems:
http://zone.ni.com/devzone/conceptd.nsf/webmain/401CB3A4E216356286256BC7004B5831
2. Accessing Remote OPC Server Using DataSocket: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/conceptd.nsf/webmain/D5DC903EC6F9320A862569EE007FEC7D
3. Connecting LabVIEW to an OPC Server through a DataSocket Connection: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/conceptd.nsf/webmain/DF8C0A4BA2E2B22A86256A3700592BEA
In short, you have to make your OPC server to run in your machine (you have to look into the documentation from the other manufacturer), and be familiar with NI Server Explorer (article 1 above helps with that) and you have to access the tag with datasocket or Tags (LabVIEW DSC). If you had LabVIEW 8, we introduced the concept of variables and you could configure the variable to access this tag.
Hope this gives you an idea what to do.

What should be the procedure for export parameter in CATT
Hello Everybody,
I am working with CATT, and the transactions are <b>ME21N</b> and <b>MIGO</b>.
when i am executing the transaction <b>ME21N</b> i will get the <b>Pur Ord No</b>in the message, and i would like to export <b>Pur Ord No</b> to the transaction <b>MIGO</b> as thr is one field named Purch.ord no in Migo.
what should be the Procedure for exporting a parameter?
Thanks,
Regards AfrozHello Afroz,
If you are using eCATT then following is the procedure of capturing messages in the two recording methods - TCD & SAPGUI.
=> TCD Recording Mode:
In TCD recording mode, after dobleclicking on Interface name from the TCD command in the editor on left side, just before the MSG folder DYNPRO folder will appear on right side.
-This DYNRPO folder contains the screen sequences contain the screen occurred during recording time. The last Dynpro of this folder contains the messages occurred during recording.
-Select this last folder & click on Simulate Screen icon of the same Interface editor. It will redirect to the screen where the message values exist. There select the Purchase Order Number and click on Read Field Value icon. Give the name of Export Variable.
The export variable will contain the value of the purchase order number, which can be passed to MIGO.
=> SAPGUI Recording Mode:
In the SAPGUI recording mode, the screen on which the message appeared will be used to capture the variable name, which is Purchase Order Number in this case.
If the Purchase Order Number is second variable of the message displayed(e.g. Purchase Number 2122323 Is Created)
then use the following code -
e.g.
MESSAGE ( MSG_1 ).
SAPGUI ( ME21N_4001_STEP_5 ).
ENDMESSAGE ( E_MSG_1 ).
Assing the value from the message to the export
parameter
P_EC_PurOrdNo = E_MSG_1-[1]-MSGV2.
There are total four MSGV1-MSGV4 variables. Dobule click on MSG_1 of the MESSAGE statement above. Putting the value in the export variable from the right message variable will give the purchase order number. This can be passed as MIGO.

Hi all...
If there is no error in procedure/function, what is value for SQLCODE..?
I Think, 0 (zero) is the default value for SQLCODE
and default value for all other varaibles in PL/SQL is NULL. I am right or wrong...?

QRFC - What to do for a small test report?
Hi there,
I wanna to understand how the qRFC works in detail and so I wanna to simulate such a interface via qRFC in an IDES-system.
Can someone tell me what steps I have to do for creating such an interface.
In the following I tell you the steps that have to be done from my point of view:
1. Creating a normal RFC-destination (in my case: forwarding to the same IDES-system for testing purposes) via SM59
2. Creating a new queue (but how exaxtly?)
3. Creating a RFC-enabled function module for testing
4. Writing a dummy-report that calls the created function module using the destination
5. Take a look at the queue (but where exactly?).
Thank you for any help...!
Kind regards
MarkusTurn off "Automatic reboot on system failure", and check BSOD code if it comes.

What is the procedure for creataing a portal service
Hi All
an any one tell, What is the procedure for creataing a portal service inorder to establish a connection to Netweaver from Java.
Regds
PhanikumarHi,
I dont understand exactly your use case -- "connection to NetWeaver from java -- but a portal service is simply a portal application that contains a single java class that inherits from IService.
The NWDS has a wizard for creating a new portal object, and one type of object is a service. The wizard in this case creates a public interface and a private implementation of your service.
For more information, see http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/df/e6b74253ffda11e10000000a155106/frameset.htm.
Hope this helps.

Using J-meter for testing PI interfaces
Hi all,
I am planning to use j-meter for performance testing of PI interfaces. The concerned interfaces have an abap proxy to trigger the message at the sender SAP system. The receiver end is a database.
Need information on how to use/configure the j-meter for this scenario. Also, using j-meter can we send message payload to integration engine directly or is it sent to through adapter engine only?
Any kind of help is appreciated.
Thanks,
AmitThanks for the response Ajay.
I have configured the j-meter to send http request to inegration engine of PI.
The request xml that I am sending is as follows:

What is the procedure for a hard boot of my iPod touch 4th generation
without iTunes, and without computer, and without iPod data screen?
6 months after purchase I updated my iPod touch as recommend by iTunes.
It has not worked since that day. It frozen (disabled) with a "connect to
iTunes" icon displayed...that is the only thing it does. itunes does not
recognize the iPod. My Windows7 computer recognizes an Apple device.
Other computers recognize the devise but if iTunes resided on that
computer it did not recognize the iPod
I suffered a setback with deep depression and am just now getting out of it enough to do something. The depression prohibited me from taking action.
I have done every procedure recommended from Apple help and external
sources. I did this thoroughly with help for other owners and IT experts,
Apple employees etc etc. I and associates have perform reboots utilizing a
number procedure using only button on the iPod. These were unsuccessful
also have performed.
Please do not ask me to do the usual.
Online I saw a process using the buttons on the iPod to completely
reformat
the iPod. It was NOT the hold buttons for 10 sec let go of one wait 8 sec
etc. I can not find the process now...a friend showed it to me in passing
I have lost contact with him. This is the procedure, I believe, that with
enable me to update and use the iPod.You need an internet connection and likely a computer with iTunes but an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with the FindMy iPhone App may work by:
If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone and use Remote Wipe to erase the contents of your device. If you have been using iCloud to back up, you may be able to restore the most recent backup to reset the passcode after the device has been erased.
You can also wipe the iOS device by installing the FindMyiPhone app on another iOS device and using that app to wipe the device.
Otherwise
Disabled
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Forgot passcode or device disabled
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
For how to restore:
iTunes: Restoring iOS software
To restore from backup see:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.
Yo may have to go to an Apple store or a friend's house with an internet connection and iTunes. -
What "net procedure" in accounting TAB for A/P invoice is used for?
Does anyone happen to know what "net procedure" in accouting TAB for A/P invoice in Germany local settings is used for? When it is used together with cash discount.
it is a thick box field. it specifies whether or not to calculate a cash discount in A/P invoices according the payment terms with the vendor.if you tick netprocedure, it means you want to use cash discount that defined in the payment terms. it is in the cash discount name. SAP Business One enables you to do the following:
Define cash discounts in the Payment Terms linked to your customers and vendors.
Define a hierarchy of cash discounts set according to the payment date.
Apply a cash discount to freight defined in an invoice.
Apply a cash discount to tax amounts included in an invoice.
you could know more about cash discount in How to Define Cash Discounts pdf file.

Hello. I'd like to know if there's any way I can install Windows 7 on my Macbook Air 13'' from early 2015. When I open Boot Camp (v 5.1.4), it says it must be Windows 8 or a later version but I want Windows 7 which is previous.
