Hi LarryMeikle
The biggest difference between Photoshop CS6 and Photoshop CC is that Photoshop CC is subscription-based--you have to subscribe to Adobe's Creative Cloud service to use it.  Also, Photoshop CC includes new features that were not in Photoshop CS6.
Let us know if that helps.
Thanks!
Garima

  • What's the difference setting autoextend between on segment and on device?

suppose I have name segment with is on device mydevice in mydb. Then I try to set autoextend for the the database when segment is full.
The final reason for full is the device is full.
Then I could have 2 option to set this autoextend: on segment or on device:
sp_dbextend ’set’, ’database’, mydb, myseg, ’10%’
    sp_dbextend ’set’, ’device’, mydev, ’10%’
So question: if set on segment, ase will extend the device automatically for that segment? about both are same or not?

  • What's the differences of optimizer_features_enable between 8.1.7 and 9.2 i

Everyone , now i may to change the optimizer_features_enable to set is 8.1.7 due to have urgent performance issues after upgrade from 8i to 920 . I know the default value of optimzier_features_enable is 9.2 in 9i and it is a database level parameter. So i want to know all the differences of optimizer_features_enable between 9.2 and 8.1.7 . It will impact the whole system if changed it to 8.1.7 ? Thanks in advance !!

It will, obviously, affect the entire database. Setting optimizer_features_enable to 8.1.7 basically turns the CBO in your database back to an 8.1.7 CBO. There are a fairly large number of changes between 8.1.7 and 9.2, many in hidden parameters. I don't believe Oracle publishes a list of differences, but there are folks out there that have researched the differences. • What is the difference in 4.0, 4.6 and ECC versions of SAP?

    Hi
What is the difference in 4.0, 4.6 and ECC versions of SAP?
    Thanks

SAP R/3 is basic ERP that every one keeps talking about which has got different versions ike 3.1, 4.0, 4.6, 4.7. The latest one in this is the ECC which again has got two versions in the market - ECC 5.0 and ECC 6.0.
NetWeaver is the techology stack which gives other solutions that work with R/3 and also provide a technology platform for the ERP to work.
EP - Enterprise portal is a part of the NetWeaver stack and can be used to provide web interface for the user apart from the standard protal functionalities.
You can find more details of NetWeaver here

  • I am running a laptop with windows 7 on it and trying to use the save as feature in Photoshop CS6 and won't let me save as anything. Please help?

I am running a laptop with windows 7 and am trying to use the save as feature in Photoshop CS6 and it wont let me save as anything. Can someone please help me with this?

A screenshot of your Photoshop work area showing the open file you want to save as, the Layers panel open, and the Save as... dialog open might give us a clue as to what is going on.
To take a screenshot and save it as a file
For Windows 7, Printscreen, open a New File in Photoshop, Ctrl v to paste, then save as jpeg (the other trick was for windows 8)
Use the Camera icon on your reply to upload it.
Also File > Save for Web is a good workaround if you just need a jpeg, png, or gif.

  • What is the difference in createdelete indexes for  infocube and DTP ?

    Hi experts,
Can anyone  tell me what is the difference in create\delete index process for infocube and create\delete index for  DTP or Infopackage? If i add into a chain an Infopackage then DTP  then Delete request processes,   system generates for all of them delete\create index processes  by default. Is that nesesary  leave them all or is that enough to leave only the ones for infocube?
    Thank you,
    Tigr_Z

    Hi Tigr,
This delete/create index step is to make the load faster. This can be done on a infocube. Before loading data to infocube it is suggested by SAP to delete index and after loading again create the index.
If you want to execute these steps through process chain, there are process types for delete/create index. It is related to infocube not to any DTP/Infopackage. Before loading to the cube add one DROPINDEX step (deleting) in the chain. After completion of loading add one INDEXING step (creating) in the chain.
    Thanks,

  • What's the difference of Creative Cloud for individuals and Business for a one-man company and Photoshop only?

    Hey guys,
I want to decide whether to buy Adobe CC for individuals (12euro a month VAT included) or company (29 euro VAT excluded). I own/am a one-man company and I only use Photoshop (and Lightroom/Bridge).
As a company, I'd say I'd choose the company one. But the individual one is more than half cheaper and gives the applications I need.
Please advice and tell me the differences.
    Thank you

In the US there is no difference.  More specifically, when I look at http://creative.adobe.com/plans and check the prices on the Individual and Business tabs I see the same prices for the same things:  US $19.99/month for Single-App and US $49.99/month for the Complete (all-apps) package, so either the difference is one of different taxation/regulatory burden or you're comparing different things.  Since I'm in the US I can't easily see your Euro pages, but if you want to include screenshots of the Individual and Business pricing area maybe someone can point out what is different.
Regardless, if you only use LR and PS/Br then if I were you I’d sing up for the Photography Plan which is US $9.99/month which is half the PS-only price.

  • What is the speed/performance comparison between Soundbooth CS5 and Audition CS6?

Obviously, I don't need to be convinced about the difference. However, in demonstrating and working with Audition I didn't take a note of these speed differences. Does anyone have this information for business justification reasons?
I am looking for the speed of a sound file (*.wav, approximately 1-5minutes in length) rendering in Soundbooth CS5 and Audition CS6 as well as a comparison of doing 10 files (approximately 1-5 minutes in length each) in Soundbooth and in Audition CS6 (using batch processing) to *.mp3 with basic processes applied. Basic processes that I am checking are Noise Reduction, Trimming front and end silences, Normalization, and rendering to *.mp3 (from *.wav). If anyone can do this for me, that would be awesome!!

    travis_smith_ wrote:
Hello _durin_, yes all those are great arguments that I've already included; however, some people like to use accurate measures/times/processes...they want numbers.
So, do you (or anyone else) happen to know the render engine speed of 1 file in Soundbooth v. 1 file in Audition?
What Durin hasn't perhaps made quite clear is that you'd have to do this on just one machine to come up with any comparisons at all - and if that machine isn't identical to yours, then it's going to be meaningless anyway; some of the processes (like NR) will vary considerably between two different machines, even running the same software. There is no way on earth that this would be an accurate comparison, and I don't think it would convince anybody who actually understood what was at issue. This is the politest way of saying that it's not going to happen... and if Durin, as Audition's Product Owner, isn't prepared to commit himself, then nobody's going to.... BUT:
Now I am moving towards the argumentation that it should replace everyone's Soundbooth, which is why I need the justification. I would run the tests myself over the current set of files, but with the license gone, I cannot.
Your real justification isn't going to be based on anything like dodgy process measurements at all, but this: Soundbooth is discontinued - there's very little, if any, support for it now, and there will be no updates to cope with OS changes, etc. Audition, on the other hand, is a long-term, well-supported software product that's under active development, and this is clearly intended to continue. Also there are business package deals to be done (like active subscriptions, etc) that simply weren't available to Soundbooth users, which companies can use far more flexibly. I think you'll find that arguements like this will cut far more mustard than any odious comparisons of 'speed' will.

  • What is the best book to learn Photoshop CC and Lightroom? I'm a beginner and like a hard copy.

Just got Photoshop CC and Lightroom and want to learn to use it properly. Was thinking a manual would be the best way. There are so many available, what are your favorites?

Manuals tend to be dry and heavy going, and more suited to used as a references, rather than to be read in a linear fashion.  If you do want to go that way, the Missing Manual, and Bible series have been around for a long time, and I imagine they must contain heaps of info if the size of them is anything to go by.
The Scott Kelby books are a good choice for beginners, because he tries to introduce humour onto every page, which makes them easy to keep reading.
A good half way between the two choice are the Adobe Classroom in a Book series, which are laid out in a home learning fashion.
My best advice is to use Amazon, and read the Customer Reviews, so long as there are at least a dozen or so to give you good sample rate.

  • What is the recommended Delay/Latency between Call manager and The SRST setup

    Hi ,
Need to understand the readability between the CUCM and SRST.
What is the recommended Delay/Latency, Bandwidh  between Call manager and The SRST gateway setup.
    Regards,
    Velu S

    Hi Manish,
I've been struggling to get this information and what I could understand from the SRND is that this 80ms is just related to the Intra-Cluster communications (Between Servers UCS), there is no relation with SRST Gateways:
"The maximum one-way delay between any two Unified CM servers should not exceed 40 ms, or 80 ms round-trip time."
From that I assume that the RTD between the SRST and the Cluster should be based on the affirmation below:
"If a voice service is hosted across a WAN where the one-way latency is 200 ms, for example, users might experience issues such as delay-to-dialtone or increased media cut-through delays. For other services such as presence, there might be no problem with a 200 ms latency."

  • What is the difference for page processes in Firefox and IE?

I created a page that has a bunch of precesses all fired in the correct order in Firefix and every item is shown with the correct value.
Unfortunately I was naive enough to believe that in Ie this would work as well, but for some reason items are not filled by the very same processes, and urls I am creating with them do no contain the values I fetched with the processes.
Can anyone explain to me how I fill a lot of items and what the importance of order in the html page is?

An HTML DB process is a server side thing, regardless of the browser used. What processes are you referring to? Processes you wrote or the builtin processes like Automatic DML and row-fetch? Are these onload or after submit processes? What does the Session State popup show in IE? The best way to "fill a lot of items" if they are all coming from the same table/view is to use the builtin row fetch process.
    Hope this helps.

    Hi SAP-ABAP Experts .
I have created a internal table like this
    TYPES: BEGIN OF it_pa0001,
    ename TYPE pa0001-ename,
    END OF it_pa0001.
    (1) DATA: it_pa0001 TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF it_pa0001   INITIAL   SIZE 0,
    (2) DATA: it_pa0001 TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF pa0001 with header line  .
    (3) DATA: it_pa0001 like pa0001 occurs 0 with header line  .
what is difference b/t Initial 0 and Occurs 0 ????
    PLease explain it .
    Best regards : rajneesh

    hi
    good
Both are same...they define the initial size for the internal table..
Before Release 3.0, internal tables all had header lines and a flat-structured line type. There were no independent table types. You could only create a table object using the OCCURS addition in the DATA statement, followed by a declaration of a flat structure:
DATA: BEGIN OF itab OCCURS n,
    f1...,
    f2...,
    END OF itab.
This statement declared an internal table itabwith the line type defined following the OCCURS addition. Furthermore, all internal tables had header lines.
The number n in the OCCURS addition had the same meaning as in the INITIAL SIZE addition from Release 4.0. Entering ‘0’ had the same effect as omitting the INITIAL SIZE addition. In this case, the initial size of the table is determined by the system.
The above statement is still possible in Release 4.0, and has roughly the same function as the following statements:
    TYPES: BEGIN OF itab,
    f1...,
    f2...,
    END OF itab.
DATA itab TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF itab
    WITH NON-UNIQUE DEFAULT KEY
    INITIAL SIZE n
    WITH HEADER LINE.
In the original statement, no independent data type itabis created. Instead, the line type only exists as an attribute of the data object itab.
    thanks
