Is the FCC the correct goverment agency to file a complaint when a problem woth voice service cannot be repaired for 5 days.

I know in today's world everyone has a smart phone... Well I currently still have an old LG ENV VX9900 with the $50.00 prepaid unlimited plan. How is this fair??? I didn't want to change my phone because of boredom, my charger broke and a friend gave me another older phone that I can use. What is the big deal?? I paid for my services, what does it matter... The basic phone plan and the smartphone plan are both the same price jerks!! $50.00!! So I did what any person would do after this, I filed a complaint with the BBB of NJ hoping to get some justice for this. I don't see anywhere on their website (the prepaid section) where it states this that you cannot change your phone and have to pay more $$$. Verizon, this is another way of you scamming money from people because your so expensive for your contract plans and people are dropping you like flies, so you have to make the money up somehow!! Well, doing it like this you should be ashamed of yourselves!!

On the Verizon website it shows different plans based off a smartphone or a basic phone.
Even though it's the same price, it's not the same plan.
Actually Verizon has more customers than any other provider and for every 1 they lose they gain 5 so Verizon is not hurting for money.
The BBB will not be able to do anything because it clearly states there are different pre-paid plans for smartphones and basic phones.

As suggested above no such procedure to be followed unless it is a DAG.
If you are running exchange and DC in one OS. Stop exchange services first then restart server. (commands below to stop exchange related services)
net stop msexchangeadtopology /y
net stop msexchangefba /y
net stop msftesql-exchange /y
net stop msexchangeis /y
net stop msexchangesa /y
net stop iisadmin /y
net stop w3svc /y
This is bcz DC stops quicker than Exchange, therefore Exchange is unable to write to the domain controller and has to be be "killed" by the operating system.
This continual "killing" of the Exchange services, instead of allowing them to shutdown gracefully is not good for the database and is one of the prime reasons for recommending that Exchange is not installed on a domain controller.
A better option is to stop the services before you begin to shutdown the server. This will also cause the server to shutdown more quickly because it isn't waiting for the services to timeout. This can significantly decrease the shutdown/reboot time of Server.

Perhaps let's first try updating your Apple Software Update.
Launch Apple Software Update ("Start > All Programs > Apple Software Update"). Does it launch and offer you a newer version of Apple Software Update? If so, choose to install just that update to Apple Software Update. (Deselect any other software offered at the same time.)
If the ASU update goes through okay, try another iTunes install. Does it go through without the errors this time?

The only way to locate/disable/erase any lost/stolen iPhone/iPod Touch is through Find My Phone or a similar app. However, this requires that Find My Phone be setup/activated, on your phone, before it was lost/stolen. You would then login at iCloud.com & try to locate it. This requires the phone be turned on & have an Internet connection. There is no other way to locate a lost/stolen iPhone. Apple can't/won't help you, nor will your carrier. Report the loss to the Police, your carrier & Insurance company. Change all of your passwords.
If your carrier offers Blacklisting & they Blacklist the phone, it will be unusable as a phone.
If locked with a passcode, all a thief or whoever finds it has to do is force the phone into recovery mode & restore it. While this deletes all data on the phone, it also removes the passcode so the phone can then be used as a phone or touch.

I filed complaints with the BBB and the FCC over the last round of delayed updates. I got a call from someone claiming to work in the President of VZW office. It sounded like complaints to the BBB and the FCC cause major headaches for the folks at VZW and all they wanted me to do was remove my complaints. I refused until my phone was updated then I notifed the BBB and the FCC that my issue had been resolved. I just filed another round of complaints on Monday. Maybe if everyone else who is tired of the same old ** from VZW files complaints then they might take our issue seriously. I doubt it but at least we'd be making things difficult for them.

And if enough people do this, do you know what is going to end up happening? Verizon will never update any of the phones, you will be stuck with the OS that was shipped with your phone. Is that what you want?

Verizon needs to be above board with this issue and stop trying to trick everyone who assumes they are "grandfathered in" with their unlimited data. File your complaints today!

What has been deceptive about it? If you purchase a subsidized phone, you will lose your unlimited data. If you migrate to the Share Everything plan, you will lose your unlimited data.
Seems to be pretty straight forward.
If you continue on your current plan with the same phone, you ARE grandfathered in and will continue to get your unlimited data. If you purchase a new phone at full retail or activate a phone from another source, you ARE grandfathered in and will continue to get your unlimited data. Both of these could change in the future, though. Contrary to popular belief, being grandfathered in does not mean FOREVER. As of right now, this is the case, though.

CSS11500 SSL handling question for multiple url/FQDNs with the same ip address

I know that it's possible on the CSS to handle multiple incoming HTTP requests that terminate on the same IP address and port and balance them to various servers based on the url. For instance, I can set up www.cats.com and www.dogs.com at the same 192.168.35.12 address in DNS, and set up two different content rules:

But what if I want to add SSL handling for https://www.cats.com and https://www.dogs.com?
I'm not sure how to create the ssl-proxy-list where one content rule (ip address/port) combination needs to pass through the ssl module and get matched with the proper ssl certificate.
Can this be done? Can one associate multiple certs and keys with a single ssl-server entry and a single ssl accelerator service? Or do I have to create multiple ssl-proxy-lists for cats and dogs and build multiple ssl services each referring to a unique ssl-proxy-list, and then use the url parameter in the https content rule to determine which ssl service (and therefore which key/cert pair) gets the traffic?

Hi Tim,
Unfortunately this is not possible; you can't associate multiple certificates to a single proxy list due to the fact that SSL handshake is done first with no visibility of the URL being requested, so the CSS won't know which public server to use in order to perform the traffic decryption.
But there are a couple of options that you may want to look at (depending on the URL string)
If your URLs are subdomains and you hold a wildcard SSL certficate to match multiple requests, i.e your domain being "pets.com" you can have a certficate that will match request for dogs.pets.com or cats.pets.com because the cert will be in the form *.pets.com
The second option is SAN (Subject alternative names) certificates; which give you the option to include up to 4 flavors of the domain within the same file, such as pets.com, pets.net, www.1pets.com.

I know I am responding to my own thread, but I an SOOOO disgusted with Apple right now.
The new iOS 7 was the lead story on CNN today... and it wasn't positive. Easy to see why, it's a graphics disaster. It is ugly, difficult to read, doesn't interface aesthetically with the iPhone 4S, and gives everyone in America vertigo. Either fix the appearance, or find some way to allow us to roll back to our previous iOS. Do so quickly, or this life-long Apple customer [circa 1978] will be moving on. If this represents shades of what is coming with OS Maverick, I am petrified. Further, I am a GM of a chain of newspapers and websites in the Austin, Texas area. I will be ripping out a scathing editorial. The notion that we can't roll back from something millions of us hate is despicable. I'm giving you one week. Be sure I am not alone.

You need to follow steps in below link to model your BMM layer for the report to work with non confirmed dimensions.

Once you have followed these steps you can use the non confirmed dimension in the reports.When you see the logs to see the query generated by obiee,it generated 2 queries 1 with confirmed dimension and other with non conformed dimension.When you filter using non confirmed dimension you will now not notice any error but the results will not be filtering out because the filter will be applied only in 1 query which is valid
Now for this to work what you can do is ,instead of using the filter drag the column you like to filter as a prompt in your view.default it to the value you need using the case statement and hide it.This is one of the work around.
There may be many other work arounds for this but you need to understand that for you requirment to work you need to tweek OBIEE to generate 1 query instead of 2 queries.

Also, I'd forgotten about this problem until just now, when I extend a loop (for instance, to play 2x instead of just one) it plays a phantom 3rd time. What I mean by this, is there's no track to tell garage band to play it a 3rd time, but it does anyway. If I copy paste the loop, it doesn't do it. I've got no idea what to do with this one. I'd really appreciate a quick response as I'm in the middle of a recording project :/

this may happen, if you accidentally turn on Auto Quantize for the track in the track editor, also "follow tempo and pitch" may cause it. Have you checked the settings?
As to your strange loop: is it a software instrument loop or a real instrument loop you are talking about?
If it is a software instrument loop you can look at it in the track editor and delete any extra beats that are revealed by looping. That sometimes happens if there are long notes at the end of the loop.

Im wondering why my post hasn't been answered yet. I did file a report with the BBB and I had a rude representative from Verizon call me named Steve. He said I can file all of the reports I want and I will just keep getting calls from him. I can understand why my phone couldn't be replaced because of the small crack. I guess I have to eat that one (but it sucks because the lollipop update is what caused the problems) but what about all of the data overage I had to pay for for trying to fix this phone because of a lollipop update. When using the Clip Trimmer, you click DONE to indocate that you are finished.
The Trim To Selection is a great tool and I use it all the time, but you use it in the main project timeline, not the clip trimmer. Just select the frames you want so that the yellow border is around them. Then right-click and select Trim to Selection.
