What RTA will do in the JAVA systems?

Hi! Experts:
I have 2 questions:
1) what the RTA will do in java systems
2) what is the countpartner of RTA in abap systems?
Thanks!

Hi Christy,
RTA will be installed in ABAP system like other patches using SPAM or SAINT which is a communicator between ABAP system and GRC AC system.
There are two type of RTA you need to install, HR and Non-HR RTA.
Here is the example of RTA installed in my system,
S/W Component   Naming Connv(Highest SP Level)     Description
VIRSAHR            SAPK-53205INVIRSAHR                 SAP GRC Access Controls 5.3 for HR Syste
VIRSANH            SAPK-53207INVIRSANH                 SAP GRC Access Controls 5.3 for 640 HR
These RTAs are for real time Risk analysis purpose.
I hope this clears you doubt.
Thanks,
Sudip.

  • What services are added to the Windows system?

    After installing of Oracle Coherence, configuring the members and adding the ReplicatedCaches on the Windows XP system, what services are added to the Windows system?
    Thank you

    You would have to use a java service wrapper to run the coherence as a service on windows.
    Here are some that work:

  • How are the java system properties loaded into the Oracle 8.1.7

    I have listed the java system properties both standalone and in the Oracle database. The standard list of system properties is quite extensive and informative. But the list of system properties from the Oracle database is severely truncated.
    I expect these properties are initialized on database startup.
    If that is the case, I expect there to be a file and initialization parameters that define where the information is kept and there values.
    Can anyone give me some guidance?

    System*.properties file should be located in the $ORACLE_HOME/javavm/jahome directory

    The fix was to completely remove all Apple Software following guides in previous posts.
    Then download and re-install latest iTunes 64-bit, making sure to Run As Administrator.
    This fixed it. Now the next thing seems to be that as I move from one device to another to close and restart iTunes between each one. Treat it gently. It seems to break easily and a lot.

  • What's so hard about the file system?

    I've heard that the file system is hard to understand/navigate recently. I heard Jobs mention it yesterday in the keynote.
    I just don't get it. Since OS X they've made a home folder. That's pretty simple. Is this a case of catering to people
    who are very new to computers?
    I made a folder called Art. In it are all my works in folders with appropriate names. When I save a file from Illustrator
    and put it in the art folder the next time I save it goes in that same folder unless I change the path. That's pretty
    straight forward, no?
    Thanks for any insights.

    > Is this a case of catering to people who are very new to computers?
    My guess is yes.  Apple has been getting a lot of new Mac users via the iPhone, iPad, iPod, and iPod Touch devices which do not expose the file system to the user.
    It is my guess that based on support calls, they figured if they minimize the need to understand and navigate the file system, they will have happier customers, where that is an over all average and not necessarily specific cases of experienced users.
    One area where new users get confused is where should I put something?  There are different existing folders, but they can create their own.  Should they use an existing folder, or create their own.  Documents sometimes becomes a dumping ground until it becomes difficult to find things.  Should the user create a new home level folders or subfolders in Documents?
    There are 3 Library folders (assuming you know where to look), what goes where.  home folder -> Library is not used consistently by all applications which can confuse users that figure out how to find something for application X, only to have application Y store it differently.
    Besides you cannot argue with the success of the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch, and Apple does look at its bottom line and everything there is telling them "Less is More".

    Hi guys,
    I haven't used Java since 2002. What's going on here.
    Would u tell me? Will be a great help. A lot actually. Java has come of age. It's fast, stable and the Swing emulations really passable.
    The abandoned Java3D has made a come back as open source (kind of).
    A new major Java version called Tiger has been released with lots of language changes that elevates the Java abstraction level a notch. This includes generics, autoboxing and highlevel concurrency.
    Eclipse is better than ever.

  • What Monitors WILL work with the Mac-Mini?

    If the new Mac-Mini does not put out analog video and Apple does not state this, what monitors will work with it?

    I was able to get an Apple Studio Display to work via the adapter in the Mac Mini box combined with that huge DVI to ADC adapter they had sold me years ago. In the Apple Store I really had to press them to assure me my display would work as they told me they'd charge me a re-stock fee if I had to bring the Mini back. I pressed the point that Apple should know if a monitor it made works with a computer it made. The rep asked around and we both searched the web and then she was able to confirm it would work. They really need a list of acceptable monitors. If anyone locates such a list, please let us all know!

  • In what order will select * return the data?

    hi guys,
    1) if we just do a select * from emp, will it return the data in the order of the data blocks in the extents. i.e. return all data blocks from extent 1, then from extent 2 and so forth?
    2) if we do a select * from emp, and say half the data blocks are already in the database buffer cache, how does Oracle know that the data blocks from emp are already in the database buffer cache? Does it keep some lookup table?
    thanks

    OracleGuy777 wrote:
    thanks guys,
    I will mark the question as closed, even though I am still a bit unsure as to why if we just start up a database so that the db cache is empty, and do a select * on a small table that is all on one disk, why the Oracle kernel would from a logical point of view choose different order to return the rows.
    but thanks anywayThe order in which rows are returned is a side effect of the execution plan chosen by the Query Optimizer (which is one reason why the ORDER BY clause exists), in plain relational theory both your underlying table and the results are relations (simply an unordered set of tuples) so consequently the optimizer is free to follow whatever method it likes to return the results. In the case of a Rule Based optimizer then there is simply a set of rules that determine the choice of execution plan, in the case of a cost based optimizer then the optimizer attempts to minimize the time taken to return the resultset by choosing an execution plan based on statistical information and algorithms. The existence of the buffer cache is in fact ignored for most practical purposes and certainly for the purposes you imagined.
    Now if your table is just that, a straight forward heap table with no indexes then you will likely get what you expect, that is rows returned in the order that the blocks in which they are held are located on disk; this isn't insert order necessarily by the way especially if ASSM is involved. This is only however because a full tablescan is the only available option for satisfying the query. Most tables however aren't like that, they have indexes, the query involves joins and filters and so on. Once you start allowing the possibility of other access paths then you allow the possibilty that rows or rather blocks will be visited in a different order to the simplistic one described above.

  • How the "Java System Properties" are populated in "About this Page"

    Hi Gurus,
    We are facing a very intriguing issue and want to find out the way self service pages shows information in tab "Java System Properties" on clicking "About This Page" link ( bottom left corner of any EBSO selef service page)
    Thanks,
    Ajay

    Hi Peddi,
    Thanks but let me give some more details on our problem.
    It is a EBSO environment.
    On Private MT we do not have any proxies set in context file or any other configuration files.
    <proxyhost oa_var="s_proxyhost"> </proxyhost>
    <proxyport oa_var="s_proxyport"> </proxyport>
    The standard all standard OAF pages ( no customization or personalization ) show via link I mentioned before show these variables set
    http.proxyHost
    http.proxyPort
    http.proxySet
    Any idea how these get populated ?
    Are these values fetched dynamically via some DB table?
    Thanks,
    Ajay

  • How to deal with pipe in the Java system call?

    Hi, all,
    I tried to use a system call in java. The command contains a "|" pipe. It works both in perl and C if I do {color:#3366ff}system("ls -l | wc"){color}, but when I do it in Java, I didn't get anything returned. Here is the code
    {color:#3366ff}import java.io.*;
    class SystemCall{
    public static void main(String[] args) throws IOException {
    StringBuffer sb = new StringBuffer();
    Process p = Runtime.getRuntime().exec("ls -l | wc");
    BufferedReader br=new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(p.getInputStream()));
    String line;
    while((line=br.readLine())!=null) {
    System.out.println(line);
    }{color}
    If I use Runtime.getRuntime().exec("ls -l"), the code returns correctly. Does anyone know the solution?
    Thanks

    When you exec a process, it doesn't go through the shell. The I/O redirection symbols are interpreted and used by the shell.
    You have a few options.
    One is to not use Runtime.exec at all. You really don't need it for what you're doing -- the stuff in java.io is fine for that.
    Another is to exec multiple processes and do the redirection in Java yourself. I wouldn't recommend that, but it's an option.
    Another is to exec a shell, and pass your program to it as a shell script or as a one-line script passed on the command line.
    I'd suggest the first one in this case.
    By the way, what you're doing isn't really a "system call". You're forking and exec'ing a process (or really, multiple processes).

  • When I buy the system, will it change the previous system?

    I mean that I now have a normal Macbook Pro 13".
    Until now, I used Linux for my WEB servers, but now I want to try Mac OS X Lion Server.
    If I buy the system, will it change my normal Lion system?
    Because its a normal computer that I use every day, and I dont want it to become to a server that will not let me work normaly on every day.
    When I will have the system, when I close the program that run the server, the computer will return to be normal Lion system?

    when you download Lion Server from the App Store, by default it stops running when you quit lion server. You can configure it to be always running if you want.
    When I installed lion server, I found that I had to wait a little bit longer for system updates to become avaliable.
    Some of the features in lion server are really targeted to a 'server,' for instance HTTPS, FQDNS, Bonjour Domain hosting, DHCP with DNS. some of these services are really built around the idea of the computer having a static ip address.
    So far, with lion server, I have been able to do every I could do with lion.  plus I have the server stuff. The one thing I do notice, is that having lion server running dose consume system resources.
