What's incompatible with 10.6.5?

After using the 10.6.5 Combo Updater to upgrade my Mac Pro from 10.6.4 to 10.6.5, I was greeted by the new release with this message:
"Incompatible software
"Some of the software on your computer is incompatible with this version of Mac OS X. Because this software may cause problems with your computer, it has been removed.
"During installation, your printing and scanning software was upgraded to Snow Leopard–compatible versions, if upgrades were available. Any incompatible versions of that software were removed.
"For more information about incompatible software, see this Apple Support article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3258."
My home folder has a newly created "Incompatible Software" folder containing an RTF file with the same message but nothing else.
I scanned the year-old Apple support article, and none of the incompatible software is on my Mac.
How do I determine what software has been removed?

Ok so the move worked out well. the only thing is that when I use the log out in the File pull down it takes for ever for the log in screen to appear, its all blue for like 2 minutes then it finally comes up and works like its suppose to, but its slow to appear. The only other draw back is that my original 30 Apple HD display wont play the HD movies I bought in iTunes unless I put it in Standard mode, this is a HDCP restriction, as I have it hooked up with the mini port cable ($99) so does that mean if I hook it up with the supplied cable for the HDMI it will play them???? Haven't tried it yet. But that's bogus man, I want my money back for the movie purchase, as it worked with my G5 Desktop and G4 PB but not on the new intel Mac Mini mid 2010, partially the whole reason to get a new computer...... come on apple this is just plain ole stealing money and writing a program to block access.... bad form and bad Kharma... no different than disappearing ink....

Is the MSI NX6600LE TD256E incompatible with MSI K8N Neo3 mainboard ?

Hello people,
I have a very ugly problem here. I have an MSI K8N Neo3 mainboard here, that with PCI Express and AGP slots.
It was working fine for a while, so I dont think the mainboard itself is bad.
Originally, an Inno3D Geforce 6200 with Turbo Cache, was installed on that computer. However, in the past week the owner buyed a copy of Battlefield 2 to have some fun, he also buyed an MSI NX6600LE TD256E PCI Express graphic card to replace the Inno3D Geforce 6200 with Turbo Cache.
I got that PC here today, in order to install the new MSI Graphic card, and also install the game. Now comes the ugly part: I cannot get that card to work in that computer, and I don't know why.
At first I thought that the card was defective, so I took it out of that PC and installed it on my own PC, and the card works in my PC (see signature), and my PC's graphics card works fine on the other PC (the K8N Neo3). Even the old Inno3D card works fine.
Since the card works fine in my PC (I've used it while writing this post), and my PC's graphic card works fine in the other PC, as well as the old Inno3D card, the only thing left for me to think is that the NX6600LE TD256E card is not compatible with the K8N Neo3 board, but that seems too strange for me.
Can any one here tell me if there's some kind of compatibility problems between the MSI K8N Neo3 mainboard and the MSI NX6600LE TD256 Graphic card ?

Update:
The card is compatible with the board. What was incompatible with the card, was a little chip in the board (fried) which I didn't noticed during the first inspection of the board.
Curious thing is that it accepted other cards and not the NX6600LE, but in the end, not even my own NX6600 card, or any other PCIe card worked at all. I guess the little chip suffered some kind of damage due to power problems in the place where the computer was. With this in mind, an electrical technician will be sent to the place to verify the electrical installations for problems of any kind, so we can correct them and prevent future problems.
Back to the board thing, a new K8N Neo4-F board has taken the place of the semi-toasted K8N Neo3 board. Also, and thanks to the hibrid design of the K8N Neo3, we will still be able to use it. The PCIe slot is dead for sure, but the AGR Slot still works well, so we'll use it for traditional desktop aplications, such as word processors, internet surfing, e-mail, document scanning and printing, etc, etc, etc...
Well, that's all. I just wanted you guys to know; so no one keeps looking for an an answer to this (now solved) mystery. For me this case is now closed, so if no one is interested into it, Admins... feel free to delete the entire thread

I just updated to 10.9.3. I now cannot open Mail - it comes up with an error window and suggests it may be incompatible with this OS. What is the fix for this? Thanks

When I try to open Mail from the launchbar it won't open and comes up with a window saying it may be incompatible with this version of OS X.

You would be wise to quit all apps, disconnect all peripherals and preferably delete all email accounts before upgrading.

Firefox 3.6.9 updated to my computer this morning. Now eBay and yahoo are refusing to load properly, and I'm told it's 'incompatible' with AVG stop malicious sites or something like it - what to do?

I think what loaded was a firefox for google pack. But I'm not sure about that. Tried to use Yahoo, it said to try to clear my browser, or clear my cookies, or several other suggestions I can't remember. My AVG something or other has been disabled because it is incompatible with whatever firefox loaded.

If AVG is blocking it then you need to contact AVG and ask them why that is happening.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).<br />

I upgraded to Firefox 4 on Friday, May 6, 2011. After I finished that upgrade, I got a message that the yahoo toolbar add-on was incompatible with Firefox 4. I downloaded what I hoped was a new version on the AT&T toolbar and it seemed to work for a while, but on Saturday and Sunday my computer crashed several times. I used System Restore and then reinstalled Firefox 4. After a few crashes I decided not to enable the toolbar again. Will there be a version of the AT&T Toolbar that is compatible with Firefox 4? Anytime that there is a browser upgrade, it affects add ons functionality. If it is in the works to make it compatible, then it simply takes time for our team to create the necessary changes. But, as history has shown, the changes are never as easy as you would think, and occasionally is not compatible without a complete rewrite of the program. No. Any camera that shoots jpeg to a card of some sort is compatible with iPhoto. Not all Raw formats are supported however.

Is the K7N2 Delta (Nforce2 Chipset) incompatible with 200FSB??... Ive seen many problems when trying to upgrade the CPU, and use a 200FSB in various forums. So, why does it keep hanging/crashing?? Might it be not really supported even though it specify it does?

From most of the posts I've been reading about this issue, the users are trying to build their systems using Value RAM from various manufacturers such as Kingston or Corsair among others...this just isn't a reality anymore in the high speed world of components...the Delta boards require a lot of power and high speed memory nowadays and a lot of the users are just unaware of these facts...
Part time builders are the most susceptible to this as they build a system every few years and think that all of the 'old' rules apply to their situation...what 'should' be isn't anymore as we continue to design and produce faster products that require faster peripherals to support them...
Getting away cheaply has been designed out of most systems and this really stems from the CPU mfg's and how MB designers have to approach BUS speeds and the like...
CDM has it right that you need to dip a little deeper these days for good QUALITY memory and peripheral items to ENSURE that when you build your new PC that you minimize these issues from the get go...if not then you're going to have a good run at testing this RAM or that RAM to find one that is cheap and will still have the speed capability to keep up with your high end MB & components...
Apacer is a good example of this...they're moderately priced and they perform very well in the sandbox with most applications that you set before them...overclocking them can lead you down a problematic path but overall they're pretty flexible from what I've seen...
Most of us here know that Mushkin is pretty infallable and will take pretty much whatever is thrown at their modules...if not calling their CS dept gets you the kind of help that most companies only dream about providing...
All in all the 'line' has risen and it will rise again and you'll see a rash of users that will complain that "This should do what I want it to do" but as is most always the case, you'll find that they're trying to build an underpowered system that requires fast peripheral components and a lot of them just aren't willing to dish out the cash required for a great white box system...
Yes I agree that it's a scam from the companies to force us to spend more of our hard earned dollars but that is the way of the world now, albeit that it's unfortunate...if you're really good at building systems tho, you'll find that you can usually come up with a pretty mid-range priced system that will blaze thru all the latest games but that only comes with buying components to play trial & error with...much like I used to do in my Computer Store years ago...these days I don't do much of that, I just buy the good stuff and save my time...
