What the index means? in setCoordinate(int index...?
Although I looked at the API manual, but I still don't get it.
public void setCoordinate(int index,
double[] coordinate)
Sets the coordinate associated with the vertex at the specified index.
Parameters:
index - destination vertex index in this geometry array
coordinate - source array of 3 values containing the new coordinate

When you create geometry via a GeometryArray object the coords are stored in an array in which the order is important (eg a tri strip uses the last 2 coords and the current to draw a triangle, a tri fan uses the first, last and current to draw a triangle).
That method allows you to overwrite a coord at a specific point to change the geometry.

  • Recording Audio..whats the box mean?

    newbie here fnally getting into doin some vocals but i am puzzled..i get audio and can record it but..when i first try to a box comes on screen tells me its about to record and that i got 15 minutes of audi i can record.......gawds i got a 160 gig HD...new g5 2.0 with 2.5 ram...what does this mean?...is this telling me for this song only or for any more audio i wish to record in others songs too..minus what i just did..thank u

    This default used to be 5 minutes in Logic 5 . This is meant for a constant audio stream, and is kept to a minimum to keep disk fragmentation to a minimum. A song, for example, can be much longer than this "max recording time", but a single pass recording cannot exeed this setting. This number can be increased manually, but unless you will be doing a recording pass that is longer than 15 minutes, like some extended freeform improv, it is better for disk management to keep this setting as short as possible. Keep in mind that if a song is longer than 15 minutes, even if you record it in short passages, as I would, When it comes time to bounce this to a stereo mix, you will need to adjust this number to slightly longer than the song length. It took me a while back in Logic 5 to figure out why my audio bouncing would stop before the song would be finished;)

    UtahTiger;
    First let me ask a few basic questions
    What version of LV are you using?
    What OS is your development machine?
    When in the compile process does this error occur?
    Can you compile other (blank) VI's, id the problem with this particular project?
    Have you been able to compile this project before. what changed?
    Once I know a little more about your system we can narrow down the source of your error.

  • ThinkPad Edge E530 Please tell me what the icon means

    When I lifted my opened my laptop, there was an icon at the bottom center. The symbol was similar to a half of a sun upside-down and it was crossed out. Since I've never seen the icon before, I don't know what it means or if it's affecting anything.

    Hello and welcome,
    It sounds like it's the ThinkLight icon.  Does it look like this?  https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkPad-Edge-S-series/Thinklight-Icon-won-t-go-away/td-p/1855652

  • How does a document down load get a zipper and make a new copy?            py i can"t open? i don't even know what the zipper means help

    why does a document get a zipper on it, I downloaded it I don't know why it's "zipped" when I try to open it it make another copy I can't open what is the problem what did I do to cause this?

    Zip is a method of compressing files for archiving, and is often used for downloading large files or installers.
    Double-clicking the Zip file should unzip it, leaving the original file nearby on the dektop (or in whatever folder you downloaded to).
    If the Mac's built-in tool can't open it, obtain Stuffit Expander from http://www.stuffit.com/mac-expander.html  That will open most forms of compressed files.

  • Could anyone tell me whats the code means??

    Hi,
    Could anyone tell me explanation of the code below:
    player1.placeArmy(world.southAmerica().territory1());
    all I know is that it is calling the method of an objects. I am not really sure about whats inside the bracket. How could such argument have the dot notation format?
    Furthermore, could anyone have some advices about references to the multiple classes code example??

    player1.placeArmy(world.southAmerica().territory1());player1 is a variable of some type. This type has presumably a method called placeArmy, which takes a parameter.
    world is another variable of some type. This type has presumably a method called a method southAmerica(),
    which returns a value of a type, which has a method territory1(), whose return value is provided as teh paramtere value to the method call mentioned above.
    Another useful example as a food for thoughts could be:
    Object o = new Integer(3);
    System.out.println(o.toString());

  • What's the index node and index page in DB2

    Could you please explain what the index node and index page in DB2, and what's the relationship between them?

    Following paragraph is copied from tadm56.
    Tables contain records of data. One or more records of a table are stored in a DB2 data page. Pages are the minimum I/O unit of DB2. A DB2 data page can contain one or more records. But a record must fit in a data page.
    If a record of a table does not fit in a 4096 byte (4 KB) page, the table must be defined in a tablespace that is based on a larger page size. DB2 also provides page sizes of 8192 bytes (8 KB), 16384 bytes (16 KB), and 32768 bytes (32 KB).
    For improved access to data, indexes are predefined by SAP developers. Indexes can also be defined later as further need arises. An index is defined using a few columns of a table, which are accessed frequently. Index data structures allow for efficient retrieval of small quantities of data. Indexes are based on nodes, their storage is maintained within DB2 index pages. Because the pointers pointing to other index nodes are also stored in the index pages, storage of indexes is not as compact as the storage of data records.
    And above this paragraph, there is a figure that shows relationship. I don't know how to paste a picture here. In the figure, it shows that table records vs data page is n:1, and index nodes vs index page is 1:1.
    How to understand index nodes vs index page is 1:1?

  • To install firefox 5.0, message says avast1web rep20110101 will be disabled. What does this mean? Will it disable the avast antivirus installed on my computer?

    What more can I tell you? Firefox recommends 5.0 be installed. When I try to do so, I get a message that says some addons are not compatible. specifically avast web rep 20110101. I have no idea what avast web rep 20110101 is and am concerned that it refers to the avast antivirus protection installed on my computer. I need to know if that is what the message means & that if I install 5.0, I will disable the antivirus protection.

    Does this mean that Avast will continue to scan for viruses and protect my computer from harmful or malicious internet diseases?

  • What does the "(4)" mean?

    Hello all!
    I was simply wondering what the (4) means after my device name on icloud and all: "Macbook Air (4)"
    Thanks

    It seems to be a networking issue with Yosemite right now, in which the bonjour service will erroneously generate multiple instances of your Mac on your network, possibly arising due to an issue with wake on demand partnering with a Bonjour sleep proxy running on an Airport Base Station or Time Capsule.  If you are connected to your network through an AirPort Base Station or Time Capsule, you can fix this temporarily by launching AirPort Utility from Applications>Utilities, selecting the AirPort, then going to Base Station>Restart.  After it restarts, go to System Preferences>Sharing and change your computer name back to it's original name again.  This is only a temporary fix; the problem will eventually come back until it's resolved by a Yosemite update.
    After the name of your Mac is correct, turn wifi off, then back on and iCloud.com will eventually reflect the correct name again.
