When Building a Project

When I'm building my DVD Project it sometimes gets stuck at around 42 percent. I'm thinking this my be a problem with some of the music I have put into the videos. Does anyone no of any problems DVDSP might have when building a project ?
Thank You

What does the log say when the error occurs? Is you audio AC3? Is DVDSP encoding your assests? or compressor? Try encoding your audio and video outside DVDSP and importing your encoded assets then all DVDSP will have to do is multiplex.

  • Which files  should include in path when building J2EE project?

    Hi,
    I'm new to J2EE. Trying some examples on Servlet. But I've the error messages stating that it can't locate the javax.servlet.* classes like the ones below:
    <code>
    import javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet;
    import java.io.IOException;
    import javax.servlet.ServletException;
    import javax.servlet.http.HttpServletRequest;
    import javax.servlet.http.HttpServletResponse;
    </code>
    Could anybody pls tell me which file (of J2EE SDK) I should include in my path when building J2EE projects?
    thanks,
    jackling

    You need to have $J2EE_HOME/lib/j2ee.jar in your CLASSPATH when compiling your servlet

  • Error when building Azure project

    A few days ago I started to see an error when compiling my Azure Project (cloud service with web and worker roles). I've been working with this Azure project for almost 3 years without seeing this before. When I attempt to build my Azure Project, 9 times
    out of 10 it fails with this error:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\MSBuild\Microsoft\VisualStudio\v12.0\Windows Azure Tools\2.2\Microsoft.WindowsAzure.targets(1371,5): error : Could not find file '<SourceCode>\SomeProject\bin\Debug\ServiceDefinition.csdef'.
    Here's another when I attempt to build again:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\MSBuild\Microsoft\VisualStudio\v12.0\Windows Azure Tools\2.2\Microsoft.WindowsAzure.targets(985,5): error : Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 12.0\Common7\IDE\csx\Debug\ServiceDefinition.csdef'.
    Sometimes the error refers to ServiceDefinition, sometimes to ServiceConfiguration. The problem is that it is looking for the two files in places where it's not supposed to be. I have a single Azure Project in my solution, and a single service definition
    in my solution, but when building the error message says it can't find the service definition/config in some other Project in the solution. For example, it may try to find the service definition in some unit testing C# Project instead of in the Azure Project.
    Some isolation:
    Building same source code works fine for my colleauges.
    I've set up a new computer with Windows 8, VS2013, VS2013 Update 1, Azure SDK 2.2. Still same error.
    I've turned off multi-core builds. Still same error.
    I've seen another post on SO with a similar issue, but then it was related to publish settings files in his solution which were missing.

    Hi,
    Did your colleague build the same solution or create a new solution with the existing code? If they have exactly the same solution as you have, then please check if the environment of your machine (both old and new) is different from theirs. For instance,
    please check Azure version, VS extension, etc. If they created a new solution with the existing code, you can try to do that yourself to see whether it works.

  • [JDeveloper/BPEL] "repository.jar" is missing when building the project

    Hi,
    First of all let me say that I'm new to JDeveloper and BPEL. I followed the "CreditFlow" tutorial and everything was OK. I could deploy and run it. Then I wanted to create my own webservice and try to create a simple HelloWorld BPEL workflow. My problem now is that I get a "Error: C:\oracle\JDeveloper\jlib\repository.jar (The system cannot find the file specified)" error when I build my project.
    I had the same error message for the following jars:
    -jaxb-libs.jar
    -jaxb-impl.jar
    -jaxb-api.jar
    I just copied them from "<jdeveloper_inst_dir>\adfp\lib" to "<jdeveloper_inst_dir>\webservices\lib" to get rid of thoses error messages.
    But this "repository.jar" simply doesn't exist on my filesystem...
    I think it's pretty strange...
    BTW I use JDeveloper version 10.1.3.3.0.
    Thanks for any help!
    Nicolas

    Hi,
    I am getting the same error. Any help is greatly appreciated.
    May be if you have repossotory.jar in your lib folder by any chance please send it to [email protected]
    Thanks

    @ John Wu!
    You are right!
    I have solved my problem.
    Thank yoo for your helpful answer.
    I use NWDI 7.01 SP7 and JDK 1.5 / 5.
    So I replaced only:
    C:\Programme\SAP\IDE\IDE70\eclipse\SapIde.exe -vm "C:\Programme\Java\JDK1.5\jdk\bin\javaw.exe"
    And now it works fine

    What could be the problem?
    Thanks for helping me...

    Hi Chandan,
    Can you do person.getRelatedModelObjects() and get the contact object, to check whether it is null, also check in the CAF DB whether the data you entered is present.
      I am not sure the code is actually adding the contact model object to person.
    Go thru this SDN Blog on usage of the CMI API's, there is a link for CMI documentation in it which might help you get the right code for adding the contact object.

    award points if  info is helpful

  • Unlinked VIs when building a project

    Hi,
    I have a build problem.  Their seems to be a problem findig some VIs when I build my application under LabVIEW 8.  Trying a mass compile before the build process does not help much.  Any Ideas ?
    Error 7 occurred at ABAPI Dist Report Read Link Info Error.vi -> ABAPI Dist Cmp Settings to Disk Hier.vi -> ABAPI Get Settings From File.vi -> EBEP_Invoke_Build_Engine.vi -> EBUIP_Build_Invoke.vi -> EBUIP_Build_Invoke.vi.ProxyCaller

    Hi,
    The Application Builder in 8.0 was modified to look for the Help file paths for any vi within in the executable. The error occurs when some of the paths are incorrect. The Update 8.0.1 will fix incorrect help file path for some vi's in 8.0, so I would first suggest to update to 8.0.1.
    Another source of the problem could be the Help files for the top-level VI. To check this, go to File»VI Properties»Documentation and verify the Help tag and Help path. Once the broken Help file path is corrected, the build should continue without the error 7.

  • Error when building PDA project 'Unsupported control - Knob, 680'

    Hi,
    I'm developing an application for my PDA (8.2 LabVIEW version) which was in the past running in my laptop with the 7.1 version of LabVIEW. I'm working step by step and as soon as I inserted an own subVI an error occur. This own subVI containes also other own subVI but everything was working perfectly on my laptop. So I just provide you a picture of the error window, hoping somebody already encounters this kind of message.
    Thanks

    LabVIEW PDA do not allow using the same variety of functions and controls as the PC versions. You should rework your "faulty" vis by replacing the original controls with the available PDA controls (and functions). When developing for a PDA, avoid as much as possible prototyping on a LV PC version... Good luck !

    I have no idea what i have to fix.
    Is there any suggestion or i have to create a new Application in jdev by scrath.
    Ciao Piero

    I had the same problem while trying to "Save to BPM MDS" from jDeveloper, while I tried to save the BPM project to a directory (in terms of BPM Composer) in the BPM MDS, where the original project I checked out still was located in. The (old) project in the BPM MDS was still locked by the user I used to save the newer BPM perject version to BPM MDS. On the otherhand, I worked fine after I changed the applications name. Not what versioning should be like, but at least a workaround.

  • Hosted Build Controller does not build test project when using GitContinuousDeploymentTemplate.12.xaml

    So basically my unittest project using mspec is not even built and copied to the outputfolder even though I build the sln file. This happens only if I put in a azure deployment environment in the build. It works with exactly the same parameters if I just
    remove the azure deployment parameter in the same template. I really don't get why it's impossible to run unit tests and fail the build before deploying to staging. Is it supposed to be like this?

    Hi Espen,
    I would like to know what you mean when you say "put in a Azure deployment environment in the build", and whether you have run a post script during the build process. Please give out more details about your scenario, or share you build log here. You can
    check whether it's build fine locally by using MSBuild or build directly with Visual Studio.
    Maybe you can check whether the Azure environment has the right version of mspec test adapter. Or use Nuget package restore feature to include the needed files in your solution before building. If the build related to hosted build controller, you can configure
    an on-premise build controller for VSO. See this
    thread for more information.

    By Azure deployment variable I mean "Windows Azure Deployment Environment" variable which you can configure under the Process tab after rightclicking the build definition and clicked "Edit build definition" in Visual Studio.
    I actually figured out what was wrong though. When "Windows Azure Deployment Environment" is set, the build target is set to <your_azure_project>:Publish. This target probably only builds the projects useful for that particular project, hence the unittest
    project is not built. I fixed the issue by adding a msbuild argument under 2.Build->5.Advanced->MSBuild arguments. I had to set it to "/t <your_azure_project>:Publish;Build" and all worked well. Notice the order of the targets though. If I used
    Build first, the whole build failed with some error trying to some virtual web folder. Also, <your_azure_project> is not entirely correct. At least for me it's named like My.Azure.Project, but the build target is My_Azure_Project.
    I don't really know if it's supposed to be this way, but it looks to me like a small bug in the template at least.

  • DVDSP4 quits unexpectedly when building a dual layer project to .img file

    I'm about to make several copies of a dual layer DVDSP project. Building and burning within DVDSP works fine. But when choosing to make an .img, DVDSP4 crasches. Any ideas?
    I'm trying to make an .img, mount it and in Toast make copies from the mounted VIDEO_TS folder.
    Problem solved. Deleted the build folder, re-builded the project and then I went into Format/Build and re-builded the project once again, now with .img as output target.

    Did make it work.

  • "Stream not Initialized" message when trying to build Encore project.

    I have been using Adobe Encore CS6 for a while now, using three video camera models.
    9 times out of 10 I have no problems making my DVDs, yet every so often, the video clips will have audio and video of different lengths.
    Whenever this happens, if I try to build the project, I get an error message pop up stating "Stream not initialized".
    I can adjust the clips so that the audio and video are the same length, thus eliminating the tiny, often two frame gap in the timeline, but this only fixes the problem some times.
    Today it isn't fixing the problem at all.
    I've tried transcoding the clips, even though they are in DVD format directly from the camera, yet still get the same error message.
    Any help with this issue would be a god send as it is starting to drive me potty!
    Thanks.

    Giorgio,
    Thanks for the taking the time to respond. Nothing suggested works.
    You suggested: build an image of your author or build the DVD in your HD?
    I tried both and still get "Program Quits" window, with Encore shutting down without any error message.
    You suggested:  disk problem.
    I tried different Sony, and then Verbatim disks. Same problem.
    Additional Project Info:
    Time Line: 1:18:07
    Preferences: Playback Quality: Automatic.
    Disc Info: free space thermometer: Blue all the way across.
    4.7 GB Used.  3.309 MB free.
    Same problem also exists with Premier Pro CS4. PPr will just quit for no reason that is detectable/No error message. I do frequent saves so have not lost anything in PPr, just have to restart program. The problem with PPr is not consistant, whereas with Encore it happens every time when attempting to "Build". I suspect fault is within Encore/PPr  and Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit and latest updates from Microsoft. Both programs ran without problems before. By the way. I tried to update PPr & Encore, and I could not, as I have latest versions.
    By the way....You are writing from Italy? Where? My grandparents came to New York from Italy around 1907.
    Thanks for your effort,

  • Packed project library 1003 error when building it

    Hi,
    I am trying to build packed project library, but I get 1003 error. I have tried all things suggested in other threads regarding the 1003 error, but nothing helps.
    My two project HardwareSpecificFunctionalities and ModuleTemplate are attached. HardwareSpecificFunctionalities PPL is used in the ModuleTemplate's VIs. When I am trying to build ModuleTemplate PPL I get 1003 error saying that one VI is broken, but actually it is not. If I remove the ReadOffset.vi from the AcquisitionInitialization_Main.vi, the ModuleTemplate PPL is build successfully.
    Have anybody an idea what is wrong?

    Hello Andrej.
    I just noticed that in document LabVIEW 2011 and 2011 SP1 Known Issues (http://www.ni.com/white-paper/13164/en#323425_by_Category) it is stated that this bug will be fixed in LV 2012 (32 bit).
    This version of LV will be available in August 2012.
    All workarounds that are known, are the one that are described in this link.
    Kind regards,
    Sofija

  • .jar not working when building project with netbeans plugin and log4j

    hey..
    subject tells everything..if i build my project referencing log4j, i get a .jar file with 280 kb which is executable
    if i add log4j and do some logging, code still works in netbeans, but buildung produces a .jar with 80 kb and an
    attached lib-folder with the log4j.jar in it..if i uncheck copy requested libraries, i just get the 80 kb .jar file which
    is not working
    any hints?

    Are you building the jar file using the fxdeploy ant task to build the Jar? That is required to have an executable jar file.
    Also there was a change to the netbeans project structure, which may be a contributing factor.
    Things to try: Upgrade to the latest netbeans 7.1 beta build, set up a new Java platform in nb that includes JavaFX, create a new JavaFX project and build it. This should produce an executable jar.

    Seems like visual studio does not know where the listener.pipl and the about.rc files are located. The listener.pipl is created/builded by a custom build step, by default this custom build step puts the created listner.pipl into the objects folder, you don't want it there though:
    Either:
    - copy the listener.pipl file next to your listener.r file
    - change the custum build step (=> Project settings => custom build step), there you will find the output-dir parameter, which should look something like:
    "$(IntDir)\$(InputName).pipl"
    Now, either change the IntDir macro (which originaly points to the obj folder), or simply change this to
    "..\win\$(InputName).pipl"
    About the about.rc : either copy this next to your implementation files or make sure that in you project settings under:
    "configuration properties->c/c++->additional include directories"
    you have added the path to the "Adobe Photoshop CS3 SDK\samplecode\common\resources" folder of the sdk.
    If that doesn't work remove all references to the about-dialog-box from listener (i.e. don't display an about box anymore); about.rc is just the ressource definition for the default about-box of plugins.
