Hi There I am have the following issue with Photoshop:
I am using Photoshop on a windows system.
1) when I open pictures they flash black and flash black as I am trying to crop and clean.
2) The tiles are very small compared to illustrator, how do I make tiles larger- have looked in preferences where do I find?

Re; Photoshop tiles/tool are very tiny when compared to Illustrator...have a look at the screen shots.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

I ca not install Itunes 10.5 on vista or windows 7 my iPhone 4 is much slower and freezes and also certain apps and also certain features will not work on the phone now that I cannot update it to ios5. When I go to the store they turn me away with my laptops and tell me to buy there computer that's the only answer. I know there has to be away around it? WOW! That font is difficult to read. But, see if this support document helps you http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3989. Photos stream is based on date and photos more than 30 days old are removed. Photostream is designed as a temporary storage to allow you to download the photos to the computer.

i just downloaded photoshop elements 7.0 to a new box and it tells me that my serial number is not valid. the adobe support team says the number is valid, but that they can't help me
Which operating system are you using?
When you say downloaded, where did download pse 7 from?
Do you have the original install disk or original download for pse 7?
I believe the serials won't interchange between the disk version of pse 7 and the electronic down load version. -
I updated my iOS system 2 Days ago. App store says I have 20 updates, when I click update all, they all go in to "Waiting" mode and its been like that for 24 hours now with no sign of updating. Do I have to delete them all and reinstall ? any help much apreciated.

Welcome to the Apple community.
You might try to see if you can change your security questions. Start here, change your country if necessary and go tomanage your account > Password and Security.
I'm able to do this, others say they need to input answers to their current security questions in order to make changes, I'm inclined to think its worth a try, you don't have anything to lose.
If that doesn't help you might try contacting Apple through Express Lane (select your country, navigate to iCloud help and enter the serial number of one of your devices) -

This is my first go at this so be kind,
My question concerns launchpad. Coming from Snow Leopard I had been using spaces. I like to keep certain bundles of programs on separate desktops, for example all word processing related tasks in one place. I have set up the equivalent on Yosemite.
My problem is concerns the loss of exposé. Now I know when you swipe into launch pad you get a very similar effect but the issue I am having concerns the "zoom out" effect when you swipe into launchpad. With exposé all open apps/pages etc would be fully exposed - in my case several (sometimes as many as 9 word documents). What I am running into is when I do this in / into launch pad the "pile" of docs is exposed but they are still overlapping so I can't get a good look at which is which and visually identify where I want to navigate to.
My question is this; Is there a way to adjust the settings on launchpad so that when I swipe into it all the open apps/pages are fully separated (like in exposé) so that I can fully view all of them simultaneously? If so, instructions on how to do so would be greatly appreciated. Any alternative suggestions to doing this outside of launchpad are also welcome. If there is an exposé app for example, I would be quite willing to go that route.
My main concern is being able to quickly (ie a touchpad gesture) expand all the open pages so I can bounce between them.

Thanks for taking the time. Unfortunately no that does not solve it. Same as swipe it will get me there and it will show separate programs spaced out. The issue I am having is that all my open word files are bunched up in a pile on top of each other. I can see the edges of each one but I want them to be separated from each other enough that I can visually identify what file is what.

ARD is totally unnecessary and inapplicable for your scenario. ARD is a Mac OS X application for managing other Macs and is not useful if you want to connect to a Mac from some other OS. Mac OS X has a VNC client build int, so VNC, or one of the number of other remote control solutions - LogMeIn, for instance, if they offer a Linux version - is where you want to be looking.

I cannot download flash. I have windows 7 and using explorer. When I download flash, it tells me that the download is successful but it isn't. When I try to save it it is not saved where it tells me that it is saved. I downloaded reader and that was successful. I did disable shockwave in my addons because that was slowing yahoo opening up. So when I download flash everything looks successful but then it is not there.

Shockwave Player, or Shockwave Flash? If you disabled Shockwave Flash, then you disabled Flash Player. -
When I look at the storage, most of what is taking up the space is "other". I am not sure what these application or documents are but would like to reduce this so that I can store more pictures to edit. Any advice on how to find out what takes up this much space so that I can clear some off?
Freeing Up Space on The Hard Drive
1. See Lion's Storage Display.
2. You can remove data from your Home folder except for the /Home/Library/ folder.
3. Visit The XLab FAQs and read the FAQ on freeing up space on your hard drive.
4. Also see Freeing space on your Mac OS X startup disk.
5. See Where did my Disk Space go?.
6. See The Storage Display.
You must Empty the Trash in order to recover the space they occupied on the hard drive.
You should consider replacing the drive with a larger one. Check out OWC for drives, tutorials, and toolkits.
Try using OmniDiskSweeper 1.8 or GrandPerspective to search your drive for large files and where they are located.

To repeat my question, Apple offered to install iCloud, and I allowed it. Yet when I try to sign in to iCloud using my Apple ID email and pswrd--an ID that I've been using for YEARS--I'm given the message, "This Apple ID is valid but is not an iCloud account." What is going on?
Everywhere I search on Apple's Support site says to sign in to iCloud using your "Apple ID," which I did. I've had my iTunes account for years (even migrated from the old AOL account system). It's the standard email+password that everyone is supposed to use.
My main question is how can I have a valid Apple ID and not an iCloud account--if the two are supposed to be linked?

tljI've tried both. First, I tried on my pc, where iTunes had installed iCloud when it last updated. I have iTunes installed on this computer (and on my iPad and iPhone), but that wasn't the issue.
So I went online, thinking I needed a separate iCloud Apple ID, but it prompted me for my current Apple ID and gave me the message about my ID being "valid" but not an iCloud account," which, lol, was what it had asked me to do in order to create one. You don't need iTunes for that. Simply connect the iPhone to the PC where it will be recognized as a camera. You can then select the photos you wish to transfer, transfer them, and delete them.
