When I have minimized additional windows and open another new window, the previously minimized windows show up underneath the new one, and I have to minimize them all again. This is quite annoying, how do you make it stop?
This has only been happening since upgrading to Firefox 4.0.
This issue can be caused by the ASK.com Toolbar.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

There have been similar reports, yes. You may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not coming from one of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] and select ''Disable all add-ons''. If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. See [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes this article] for information about troubleshooting extensions and theme. You can troubleshoot plugins the same way.

Sorry, but the apps are tied to the former iTunes Store account, and if your ex wife was granted ownership, you no longer have a legal right to the apps and will have to purchase them again through your own new iTunes Store account.

How do you make it stop increasing numbers/letters automatically???
If I want to drag up or down to copy text or numbers from one cell to another the program automatically increases the number by one or the letter by the next letter. Drag 1 and it increases the next entry to 2, drag a and it changes the next letter to b. How do you stop it from doing this?

You can prevent the increment by any of the following actions:
Enter "11x14" (no quotes) in each of the top two cells. Select both, then drag the Fill control to fill down.
Enter ="11x14" (with the quotes) in the top cell of the column. Fill down.
Enter " 11x14 " (no quotes, but do include the space after 14 if the cells will have text aligned left, or both spaces if the cells will have text centered) in the top cell. Fill Down
Include the inch symbols in your entry in the first cell: 11"x14" Fill down.
This sets a zero increment. The value still increments, but the increment is zero.
Each value is set by the equation. When all are set, you may find the table's speed improves if you then Copy the whole column, then go Edit > Paste Values to eliminate the need to constantly recalculate the formulas.
Seemed like something that should work (it's the same technique as used in #4), but the spaces are stripped when the value is filled into the next row, even if non-breaking spaces (option-space) are used. Pity.
This works as the text string no longer ends with a number. Several other characters could be used, but not a space, a period ('decimal'), or anything else that would let Numbers interpret the end f his text string as a number.
With 25 000 rows to fill, I would not use the Fill control to do the filling. It's going to get awfully slow and tedious.
Fortunately, it's not the only method to fill a column with the same value.
With #2 or #4, you can:
Enter the value in the first cell.
Click on the column reference tab to select the entire column.
Commmand-click on any cells above the one in which you put the value to remove them, one at a time, from the selection.
With the cell containing the value and all cells below it selected, go Insert > Fill > Fill Down.
for #2 only, with all cells now containing the formula still selected, Copy
Go Edit > Paste Values
The above steps won't work with #1, and Fill Down fills only the contents of the cell at the top of the column, and the value will increment as it's filled.
For #1, #2 or #4:
Enter the value in the first two cells.
Select both cells and Copy
Click on the column reference tab to select the entire column.
Commmand-click on any cells above the one in which you put the value to remove them, one at a time, from the selection.
With the two cells containing the value and all cells below them selected, Paste.
For #2, continue with the two extra steps above.

The frame? The mat itself is going to be expensive enough. I've never seen a piece of mat material over 650 metres long!
One more thing...
Before you commit to doing this with Numbers, I'd suggest making a dummy table with the number of rows of data you expect to reach.
The easiest and most efficient way to do that is to
fill in one full row of data, Then fill that down to the end of your initial table.
then..
Click on a cell in the bottom row, Select All and Copy.
Add a row, click in it's first cell, Paste
Scroll to the bottom of the table.
Repeat the above three steps until you have about 20 000 rows.
Now check the speed of data entry as you add another 'real' record to the table..
Numbers tends to be pretty pokey with large tables, especially if those tables include (multiple) Header rows and columns or Footer rows.
Better to find out if you can live with it before you've entered a few thousand records.
Now if I can find my spear and magic helmet, I'm off in search of that wascally wabbit.

I am scanning hundreds of old photographs onto my iMac and including descriptions when I import them to iPhoto. When I have created a book as a test, the photo descriptions are not automatically included. I don't want to have to add captions to the book I've created so how do I automaticaly include each description with the photograph?
There are no themes that automatically add descriptions that have been added to the photos. The Folio theme will pickup the file name and user name of the account
but not the description.

It consistently does this when I try to read ABC news and when I try to go to my bank's web site. I am getting real tired of this. This message will pop up over and over even after clicking allow. How do I shut this off it is really annoying.

The setting in "Tools > Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.

My daughter has some how made Siri tell every move that is made on the ipod. "Slide to unlock. Screen locked" She tells me the time. I am unable to go into settings and slide the menu further down beyond what can be seen when it first opens because each touch tells what I am touching rather than moving. I have tried resetting it. No luck.
You have the accessibility VoiceOver feature turned on.
Triple click the home button and try going to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn VoiceOver off. You may have to use three fingers to scroll the screen to get there. If problems see the following for how to turn off via iTunes:

Why do my windows automatically minimize when I open a new one?
I have had my Macbook Pro for over a year now, and in the beginning, I was all about finding cool applications to customize my Mac. During that time, I must have downloaded something that makes my application windows automatically minimize or disappear whenever I open a new one. Well now, I want it gone because it gets really annoying when I can't have more than one application up at a time. I created a new account and was able to open more than one application at a time, so it must be something installed on my account only. If you have any clue what sort of application/script/something else could be causing this, please help me!

So I figured out that it was an application called TransparentDock, but I still can't seem to get rid of it. I reinstalled it on my harddrive and tried to refresh all the settings to default, but it won't let me because it says that the "dock application file" isn't it the right location (apparently it only worked with Tiger and not with Leopard). But I can't find any trace of anything with the name "Transparentdock" on my harddrive, so I don't know how it is still on my computer even though I am running Leopard and it doesn't work with Leopard. I'm starting to get really frustrated with this stupid program, and I feel like contacting the people who made it and telling them to fix my computer! If anyone has any ideas on how to stop this, please help! -

You are able to sync purchased content from your iDevice to a new computer as long as the comptuer is authorized
To authorize the computer follow these steps
At the topi of the screen next to File- Edit -View, click store then Authorize this computer.
Enter in your appleID email address and password and click authorize
**If you do not see the File Edit View option, At the very top left corner you should see a little square click the square and click show menu bar.
Now that your computer is authorized click the file menu button, then click Devices, then go to your iPhones name and then click Transfer purchases this will allow you to transfer all of your purchased content to the computer
Now if you want to transfer your non purchased content to the computer you can do so if you have wif and the previous computer on the same network as the new computer with home sharing

When I go to my downloads folder on my dock and click the file all the content shows up but as soon as I go to open it in the finder, I get a blank window. How do you make "Acrobat X Pro" open the "combine pdf" window in the foreground?
I am using a "Windows 7" computer at work with "Acrobat X Pro" and I'm constantly combining
pdf's and tiff's in Acrobat.
It would be nice if when I select 30 or 40 files to combine, the
"Combine Supported Files in Acrobat" window would open in the
foreground, not behind the 10 or so windows already open.
I have been researching this for some time now with no solution.
If the answer is that "IT CAN'T BE DONE", then that's fine. At least
