I have an issue with my computer. the volume was working fine on wednesday june 29th 2011 (thats the last I could remember) and today is july 3rd 2011. so when I start the computer up it does not let me play anything trough the iTunes volume when I start a song it goes immediately to pause but no sound comes out. When I click on the volume in the menu bar it does not allow me to raise the volume up, nor does it allow me to play volume through my speakers when I am on youtube.com. AND when I go to system preferences it has checked off that it is on mute, BUT it is a light gray color and it does not let me check the setting off. please help! what do I do? I think it is still under warranty because it is only between 11 months-12 months old.

That you are getting the BONG is a good sign, it's unlikely to be hardware if you are able to hear that.
Start by running SW update. It's not that there is a specific fix, but when updating it may rewrite some system files which may get this going again purely as a side affect. Worth a go, and should not harm the system.
Try reset the PRAM - Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
Hopefully one of these quick fixes works, otherwise we'll need to try isolate the issue next - so if still having a problem, I'd try create a new user and login as that user to see if the issue persists (which will tell us if it's system wide or user specific)

Please can any help me. My iMac G5 2005 version has just pack up on me. When I press the start button the front light comes on and then disappears within a second and it then goes quiet and nothing happens. Can any body help on what to do or explain what's going on. If the phone was hacked, you can't get help here. It would not necessarily have to have been hacked. Legitimately unlocked iPhones are available from Apple in the U.S. and AT&T (the only US GSM carrier who ever carried the 3GS) offers unlocking.
Try a replacement SIM from your carrier.

Having same problems as LargeMarge67. Tried everything including your advice to no avail. It gets worse, took I phone and lap top to the Apple Genius Bar at Brighton. Instead of sorting out the Itunes download on my lap top first, they updated the software on my iphone to the new IOS5 via their Pcs. they told me the itunes issue was a microsoft one and I could call apple care when I get home.
Well I did that - on the phone for hours - they told me to uninstall itunes and reinstall. Tried this, and cannot install Itunes version 10.5.1. Version 10.4.1 installs fine but as I have the new Iphone software on my phone which only works with Itunes version 10.5.1 I cannot sync my iphone or restore the phone from backup. Therefore at the mo my phone is useless!!!!!
Great support Apple for letting me walk out of their store 10 times worse than when I walked in. SomeGenius eh - surely he must have known this would be the issue!!!

Do you get sound on any apps e.g. Music and Videos but not others ? If you do then have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the Music and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. I am trying to make a Presentation to email for others to see without a browser, but when I do, it doesn't show. I've downloaded Adobe Flash Player 10.0 r22, I've built the presentation, I've published the presentation and uploaded to my hosting. I have tried everythiing I can think of. It works on my machine; however, when I try to view it out of it's containing folder, it doesn't show anything but the preloader. Can someone please help me?

This means that the phone you have was software unlocked to use on any carrier, or hacked. When you installed the update it restored the lock that originaly came with your phone. Not much you can do now. Apple will not support hacked phones. You will need to find out the carrier your phone is locked to and see if they offer official unlocking, or start googling to see if you can find a way to unlock 4.2.

Hi Mike,
CRSE is an OEM Product and for use with a custom application they have written. Unfortunately we don't their reports or how they are connecting, it would appear they were originally built off a SQL and then set to a Dataset in the app or they could be adding the data source at runtime. Lots of variations and without access to the source code to see what they are doing not much we can help you with.
You need to contact the OEM Partner for help in resolving this and find out what you can and need to do to update your SP and work with their canned reports,

Sounds like a bogus pop up. In any case power down your Mac, your modem, your router. Then power back up in 1 minute sequence; modem, router, Mac.
